Earth-95.

2015. Misato's Apartment, Tokyo-3

Ritsuko was standing outside of the apartment home of her longtime friend Misato on a bright day. As before, Ritsuko was already on board with the plan to expose Commander Gendo Ikari to the rest of the world by capturing and forcing him to reveal such secrets. For her, accepting the plan was the point of no return and she would not have any second thoughts at all. She had arrived at her home to check up on her in anticipation of the plan to save Earth-95 from further peril. Moreover, she had already performed her duties at NERV HQ and there were no Angels to worry about for now. Ritsuko slowly moved her right hand to knock on the door to wait for Misato. Ritsuko stared at the door with a nervous look on her face for a while until she heard a creak and saw the door open. Thankfully, it was Misato dressed in her NERV uniform to meet Ritsuko and ready for the plan.

"Hello, Ritsuko."

"Thank goodness, Misato. You're alright! For a moment, I thought you might not be prepared for this shall I say very special occasion."

"No worries. I already remembered what to do next and got myself ready."

"Misato, I came here just to see if you were okay. I'm glad you're fine with the plan to stop Instrumentality and save our world with the Avengers. The Children are with the Avengers right now and they're waiting for us."

"Well, I got the memo from them when they told me before. Still, this is our one and only opportunity to ensure the Earth is saved from not just the Angels but Gendo." Misato told Ritsuko. Both women once believed that Gendo was a strange yet well-meaning man who wanted what was best for them, NERV and the world. In a few days, Ritsuko and Misato learned the true nature of Gendo and his intentions, which were not what was best for everyone but for the nefarious SEELE. In the minds of the friends, it was utterly disturbing and they were not going to let it pass through them and the rest of humanity under their watch. Now was the time to stop Instrumentality for good and both were prepared for the plan.

"We have a world to save, Misato." Ritsuko said.

"Indeed." Misato walked out and closed the door to accompany Ritsuko to the next meeting. The NERV women walked across the apartment blocks to reach the Avengers home while some were outside for various reasons. For their part, Misato and Ritsuko kept their mouths and remained silent for the duration of the visit. Eventually, Ritsuko and Misato reached the Avengers' home, with the latter knocking on the door for the Avengers or the Children to answer. Someone would answer their knocking and open the door. That someone was the Wasp herself in her black-and-yellow armored suit. She was the woman who knew much about their world and planned to save it with her teammates. She was thankful for Misato and Ritsuko coming here on time.

"Oh, you are here just in time for the plan." The Wasp greeted Misato and Ritsuko. She then hugged Misato, much to her surprise, and Ritsuko herself. She later stepped back and spoke to her allies.

"Anyway, you understand that we're here for a very special purpose: To stop the Human Instrumentality Project by Gendo Ikari and SEELE. Everyone has been waiting for you to come and now that you're present, we can begin the plan."

"Good." Ritsuko told the Wasp.

Misato and Ritsuko went into the apartment of the Earth-191208 Avengers and saw them along with the Children in the kitchen glad to see the two here with a greeting in English and Japanese.

"HI!"

"KONICHIWA!"

As Misato, Ritsuko and Janet stepped further into the apartment, the other Avengers and Children were ready for the meeting. The Wasp would be in charge, given her expertise on Earth-95 and discuss the plan today. Before this could happen, at least one Avenger had something to say and it was the Wasp's friend Goliath.

"Thanks for coming here."

"Oh, you're welcome," Misato said.

The Wasp gathered everyone to hear what she had to say on the plan to stop Instrumentality from happening in this world at the living room. She instructed the others to sit down to listen to today's agenda. She started the meeting off with informing the others of what they came for and the mission as well as the stakes at hand in English and Japanese. Moreover, she told the other Avengers, the Children, Misato and Ritsuko, about their journey on Earth-95 so far along with their respective pasts shaping the persons they are today and the numerous problems plaguing society but that anyone can be better if they so choose. Throughout the speech, the Wasp repeated her words in the native tongues of America and Japan so that everyone could understand what she said and why it was important. As a dedicated fan of Neon Genesis Evangelion, Janet had absolutely no desire to let the tragedies of Ryoji's death and especially the Third Impact occur on her watch alongside her husband Hank and she helped her fellow Avengers establish the right connections with the Children (including Shinji), Misato, Ritsuko and some of NERV to carry out the plan of stopping Instrumentality for good. She also described how the Snap changed their worlds including the people they've lost but that it shouldn't break their resolve for heroism and that they should continue on. The Wasp ended the speech with a reaffirmation of her husband's words from yesterday.

After finishing her speech, the Wasp asked her audience for a solution to stopping the Human Instrumentality Project and exposing Gendo Ikari.

"So, what do you propose in preventing Instrumentality and showing this world who Gendo really is?"

Ritsuko was the first and only person to provide an effective answer to the Wasp's question by raising her hand.

"Jan-san. I believe I have the solution: As a NERV employee, I believe that we can lure Gendo to this apartment block through me. I can call Gendo myself under the pretense of some unfinished business and then we capture him later during the afternoon. We must know who to trust and work together after all so this plan will only work from this."

"What exact part of this apartment block do you propose we should lure Gendo in?" asked the Wasp.

"It will be Misato's apartment. I will be with Misato herself to discuss this unfinished business while you and the others are in positions by hiding from his sight."

"Alright, everyone. Ritsuko has proposed a plan to capture and expose Gendo by luring him into Misato's home. Raise your hands if you prefer this plan. Any objections?"

The Avengers, the Children and Misato all made their decision and they unanimously raised their hands in favor. The plan to capture Gendo was finalized and everyone would go to Misato's apartment for this purpose.

"Good, we shall make preparations as soon as afternoon." Ritsuko told everyone. The plan was in it's most important and crucial step and it was all or nothing for not just the Avengers but the Children, Misato and Ritsuko who understood that Gendo was a well-known and respected official to the world and to harm him would risk arrest if the plan went awry. They were determined to not let this become awry whatsoever and do everything right as possible.

Tokyo-3, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan

Gendo Ikari was finishing the remaining work at NERV HQ by filing the papers and other confidential documents at his desk with Makoto watching him. The Snap had affected him and SEELE so much as it meant Kaworu was unavailable for the Human Instrumentality Project, as were half of all members in important institutions and organizations such as the JSSDF or NERV itself. Gendo and SEELE had to rely on Rei to execute what was left of their plan to forcibly turn all humans into a single lifeform, along with those who survived. Further complicating matters was the arrival of the Avengers in their world, or at least what looked like Earth's Mightiest Heroes, with the confirmation they were from another world where superheroes were real to him and the rest of NERV though the denizens were left to speculate. Gendo believed he could manipulate the Avengers like everyone else on Earth-95 but was sorely mistaken as he was unaware of their true plans to save the world from him and SEELE by revealing his true nature to it's denizens in public. He was also manipulated into letting former T-RIDEN-T Project pilot Mana Kirishima leave in peace. Still, Gendo was confident the Human Instrumentality Project would succeed and that his late wife, Yui, would be back.

Gendo heard ringing from his phone and picked it up to see who was calling. It was Ritsuko from her distinct voice Gendo recognized when she spoke up.

"Hello, Commander Ikari. This is Akagi Ritsuko. I'm calling to let you know that I have some unfinished business between us. It's because I need you to help me run some errands and other stuff since I left. There is some unfinished business and I don't want to wait for another day to do this. So, if you have the time, can you please come to Misato's apartment so we can finish these errands and other duties?"

Gendo wasn't expecting Ritsuko to have seemingly unfinished business as far as he knew, so he gave his response.

"Yes, I shall come to her apartment to finish whatever work that needs to be done," Gendo told Ritsuko. Gendo got up from his desk and headed out to meet with Ritsuko and Misato at the former's apartment with Makoto aware of what was said on the phone. As such, he would continue to hold the fort for a while as the temporary second-in-command with Fuyutsuki gone. He watched Gendo leave the room silently.

Gendo walked through the halls of NERV HQ to get into a car to meet with Ritsuko. He remained silent for the duration of the drive to Misato's apartment, focused on his current priorities. As Gendo could see in his car windows, the sun was setting on Tokyo-3 and parts of the world as it was afternoon. The only things besides the priorities were Yui and Instrumentality, but unbeknownst to him, the Avengers and the Children already knew more than what he told them. In addition, the EVA pilots already knew such details and planned to reveal them to the world.

Gendo reached the apartment block where Misato's home was located. He stepped out of the car and closed the door behind him to walk up the steps of the apartment block to meet with Ritsuko inside. When he arrived at his destination, he opened the door and went inside to see only Ritsuko here waiting for him in the living room.

"Hello, Dr. Akagi."

"Welcome, Commander Ikari."

No one else was here and Gendo knew this was the home of Misato but didn't see her. He began to ask Ritsuko on her whereabouts.

"Akagi, do you know where Lieutenant Major Katsuragi has went?"

"She is simply doing her casual stuff as usual."

"If Katsuragi does come here, she might assist you in finishing your errands. Speaking of which, what are these errands you speak of?"

Ritsuko remained silent and had a nervous expression for a while since she knew there were no errands at all. Gendo then asked her what these errands were.

"Dr. Akagi, what are the errands you speak of? Are you deliberately ignoring my question?"

The next course of events was not what Gendo expected. He was restrained to the ground by a full-sized Ant-Man and the Wasp in an ambush planned by the Avengers, the Children, Misato and Ritsuko herself to trap him. The Avengers were in their costumes or casual wear, in the Hulk's case and had Gendo on the ground. He was visibly angry and demanded to know why Ritsuko did this.

"Ritsuko, why are you doing this?"

Ritsuko then revealed her true motives, "Commander Ikari, I know you are the man who will initiate the Human Instrumentality Project and turn all humans into a single lifeform against our will. You intend to do this to not just me but everyone else. I know this from the Avengers of this world and so do the Children and Misato. We will not let this happen under our watch and intend to reveal this to the entire world starting with you."

Gendo was furious that Ritsuko and the others knew of the Human Instrumentality Project but his anger was also directed at the Avengers for "stabbing him in the back" as he put it. He was not going to let the world know who he really was and SEELE's plans.

"No, you will not slip under my radar after what you did. I will send NERV and my allies to come after you!"

Ritsuko then reminded Gendo of the situation he was now in.

"Ikari, you are trapped by some of the most powerful people of this reality. You are merely a normal human and can't stand against us alone. You will reveal everything to the entire world."

Gendo was shrewd and pragmatic and recognized he could not fight superhumans. As such, he chose to stand down and reveal everything.

"Indeed. I will reveal my understanding of the Human Instrumentality Project and other such details."

The Avengers took Gendo to Misato's room and put him on a chair to talk. The Wasp would be the "interrogator" for Gendo and she had an old recorder device from the apartment to ensure that the evidence for the Human Instrumentality Project was recorded and broadcast elsewhere.

"Gendo Ikari, Commander of NERV and member of SEELE. Age: 47. Is all of this information correct?"

"Yes."

"Anyway, we know you are involved in the Human Instrumentality Project, a plan to absorb every human being into a single lifeform against their will."

"All of this is correct."

"So we're asking you, why did you join SEELE and Instrumentality?"

"Well, I will speak for myself. I was able to join SEELE and Instrumentality through my wife Yui and it was here where I became committed to the latter. I am doing this so I can see her again even if all of humanity must suffer."

"So you're willing to doom all of humanity just so you could see your long-gone wife again. Well, that can be pretty selfish even if understandable."

"You wouldn't understand what I've been through."

"Still, you're working with a cabal to subjugate all of mankind using Rei Ayanami, a genetic clone of your late wife, to accomplish this."

Gendo was upset at hearing this tidbit and talked back at Janet.

"Don't you ever speak of my wife in that way, Janet!". Rei looked at Gendo and already knew what she said. Gendo couldn't hold it any longer and this knowledge was known to the others.

"Regarding SEELE, what else do you know of the organization?"

"SEELE is an ancient society in possession of the Dead Sea Scrolls. They are led by a small group of men from Japan, America, Britain, Russia, and Germany. My superior is Keel Lorenz and I work with him to make the Human Instrumentality Project a reality. We have members in every institution around the world but the public sees us as simply another research organization when we hide our true nature."

"In addition to the current conspiracy, you've emotionally abused your son Shinji and from what I know of your world, affairs with Dr. Ritsuko Akagi after your wife was dead. You have quite a bit to answer for."

"Regarding Dr. Akagi, you probably know my relationship with her as with that of Shinji because you come from a world where we are merely fictional?"

"Correct."

"What you say has some basis in truth and i cannot hide it."

"Still, we shall reveal your true nature to the entire world." The Wasp concluded the interview and stopped the recording device with the intent of delivering it to a news organization that would broadcast this. The Avengers and their allies effectively trapped Gendo. There was nothing he could do to stop the plan whatsoever and he would accept what his ultimate fate was just as he might have done in another reality. The Avengers, the Children, Misato and Ritsuko now had a key piece of evidence to indict him and SEELE for their conspiracy and some were heading off to the nearest NHK station to do this.

Three Days Later.

Tokyo-3, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan

This day was very special for the people of Earth-95 as it was not only when the NHK published and broadcast the first reports on SEELE's Human Instrumentality Project and Gendo Ikari's ties but the world knew the Avengers came from another world that wasn't their own. A flash of news reports in print and television from different countries discussed the mass arrests of numerous SEELE personnel, including Gendo Ikari, through multiple raids and confrontations. Gendo was seen in a green prison jumpsuit to serve a life sentence with Shinji watching. The rest soon focused on the existence of other worlds with the Avengers in particular being another topic of discussion because of the recorder tape. Soon, the scene shifted to Tokyo-3 city hall with Shinji, the Children, the Avengers, Misato and Ritsuko.

Shinji and the Children were with the Avengers, Misato and Ritsuko inside city hall, for a press conference from Japanese and foreign reporters on the revelation of their otherworldly nature. They were dressed in their best clothes, with the Avengers in their usual costumes ready to address an entire crowd both curious and concerned about them.

"We sure are ready for what's coming to us." The Wasp remarked.

"Well, let's make sure everyone is calm." Thor reminded the others.

"We agreed you would address the people outside, Janet." Iron Man told the Wasp.

"Either way, we have plenty of questions to answer from not just Tokyo-3 but this world," Ritsuko said. "I hope this information can be used for the greater good with Gendo and SEELE gone."

A Japanese government agent walked into city hall to inform the others.

"The media is waiting outside for you. Are you prepared?" said the agent.

"Yes." The Wasp told him. "We are in our best looks and confident to address whatever concerns the public might have."

"Good."

The Avengers, the Children, Misato and Ritsuko made their way to the podium to see a large crowd of people mostly mumbling and noise, with the reporters ready to ask important questions about the Multiverse itself and cameras held by others for this occasion. The Wasp would address the crowd first after putting a finger on a mic. The first question came from a female reporter for the NHK.

"Regarding the existence of parallel worlds, did the Snap originate from yours?"

The Wasp, as with the Avengers, knew what she said but was unsure where the Snap came from.

"You know, I'm not so sure if the Snap came from our world or not. All we know is that it claimed half of all life on our world." The Wasp responded in Japanese.

Another reporter, a male American, also had another question for her.

"Since you are from a world of superheroes, is it anything like the movies and shows?"

"Let's just say it's sort of like our own but not exactly in certain details."

"What are those details? Do they include the Fantastic Four and X-Men?"

"I guess...?"

A reporter from Germany working for the Deutsche Welle also had a question for the Wasp regarding the future of the relationship between Earth-191208 and Earth-95 respectively.

"Ms. Van Dyne, what does the future hold for our relationship with Earth-95."

The Wasp had her answer.

"I hope we can help other worlds along with yours."

The Wasp then received another question from a British reporter for the BBC. Unbeknownst to her, it would be the last question she and the others would receive on Earth-95.

"Do you intend to share your technology with the world?"

"Well...I will say..." Just as the Wasp was about to give her response, the same cackling blue portal appeared above. It sucked every Avenger standing at city hall as they screamed in confusion. By the time the blue portal disappeared, everyone on Earth-95 was left stunned and shocked that the Avengers had disappeared and might be in their world. The Avengers were finally sent back to their home universe. A surprised Shinji slowly turned his head to Ritsuko.

"Wha...What just happened?"

"It was a surprise," Ritsuko told the others.

What started off as a special news report became something far stranger to the denizens of Earth-95: The sudden appearance of a blue portal to transport the Avengers elsewhere through space and time in the Multiverse. But this was far from the last strange thing to happen. The sounds of dust could be heard by some as those who were brought back had cries of confusion about what happened.

"What...Why?" asked one former Snap victim.

"What just happened?" asked another.

The Children, Misato and Ritsuko, figured that someone, possibly from Earth-199999 reversed the Snap throughout the Multiverse and allowed the heroes to finally defeat Thanos and his forces in a battle for the ages. The Avengers of Earth-191208 were finally home but there was more important news to see. A NERV employee made a call to Ritsuko to tell her something very important.

"Hello."

"Yes, I'm calling to tell you that we found Kaji Ryoji in the elevator at NERV HQ. He's back."

Ritsuko knew the Snap had something to do with his return. Misato heard the call and was happy to see Kaji back.

"Kaji is back...? KAJI IS BACK! Oh, thank goodness he is back. We'll finally be able to reunite and..." Misato looked at the expressions of Ritsuko and the others over her excitement for Kaji being brought back.

"Anyway..."

The crowd was dispersing as many sought to look for their loved ones. with the remaining reporters just as stunned and confused over the sudden reappearance of people who perished in the Snap. The special report was now shifting from the revelations of another world to the reversal of the Snap with the voices of these reporters coming in.

Earth-191208

2017. Avengers Mansion, New York, United States of America

The Avengers were sent through the blue portal to the same spot where they were after the Snap: Avengers Mansion. They were left shaken and surprised at what happened when they quickly got up. Earth-191208's Mightiest Heroes figured that they were sent here by the after-effects of the Snap.

"Well, that was quite an experience." Iron Man said.

"The same blue portal that sent us to the Evangelion universe has sent us back because of the Snap's effects. It might have even been reversed."

"I hope so." Thor told the others.

A phone rang inside the pockets of one of the Avengers. The phone ringing was from Ant-Man who checked to see who was calling. It was from Black Widow, one of the numerous victims of the Snap. Hank went to answer the call and speak with Natasha.

"Hello, this is Natasha Romanoff," Black Widow said in her Russian accent.

Hank recognized her voice and quickly concluded the Snap was reversed.

"Everyone!" Hank said. "I just received a phone call from Black Widow. She's alive and it seems as though the Snap is no more."

"Really?" Thor asked.

"Yes. Not only is she alive again but so are billions of people across the Earth and multiverse."

"It means you can see Hope again," Captain America said.

Ant-Man and the Wasp were finally glad to see that Hope Pym was alive and they could be with her again.

"Hope is alive?! Thank God, she is alive!" The Wasp said while barely holding her tears of joy back.

"Don't forget that our world was devastated by the Snap and there are still billions who are probably left displaced. Our world needs rebuilding and we will be here to do this." Iron Man reminded the Avengers.

"We'll be on the frontlines with the other Avengers as soon as possible," said Goliath.

"Indeed," said the Hulk.

As with Earth-95, the Snap was gone from Earth-191208 with billions wondering what now as crowds of people greeted them, surprised to see them alive once more in a flash of images around the world from San Francisco to Tokyo to New York City to Berlin to Moscow to Paris to London to Beijing to Rome to Cairo and other cities. Nothing was the same anymore on Earth-191208 and everyone had to live with this radical change in the status quo.

And so the Avengers of Earth-191208 arrived on Earth-95 and the history of this world was forever changed. Over the course of two months, Thanos performed the Snap on Earth-95 and this world was forever changed. As with all worlds throughout the Multiverse, Earth-95 was left devastated by the Snap with half of all life gone and it's history took a different turn than it's original version. The Avengers of Earth-191208 came here through the Snap and learned what it was. Thanks to their presence, the Children, along with Misato Katsuragi and Ritsuko Akagi, began to open up to the problems inside and learned the true nature of Commander Gendo Ikari and the nefarious SEELE. The efforts of the Earth-191208 Avengers led to the downfall of Gendo and SEELE and thus the chain of events that resulted in the Third Impact of this universe were averted. The people of Earth-95 were free and NERV was left to face the Angels ensuring the world was saved.

Shinji Ikari was glad to receive help from mentally well-adjusted adults who knew of his issues and encouraged him to confront them for the better. With his neglectful father in prison, Shinji was taken under the custody of Lieutenant Major Misato Katsuragi for the rest of his service as an Evangelion pilot. He was finally free of his father's negative influence.

Asuka Langley Soryu opened up to her traumatic past and learned how to confront them thanks to Captain America and the Avengers. She also grew closer to Shinji and moved away from some of her abusive behavior towards him. As of now, Asuka is in a full relationship with Shinji with the plan of an eventual marriage between the two when they're older.

As for Rei Ayanami, the world was now aware of her true origins and she came to terms with who she was. As with Shinji, she was no longer under the influence of Gendo Ikari and was free to pursue an independent path for her future. She stuck with the Children for guidance and help.

Toji Suzuhara cried joyfully to see his sister Sakura finally back from the Snap. Afterwards, he would grow even closer to her and spend all his lunches with Shinji and the others. With the different history of Earth-95, Toji was not left injured while piloting an Evangelion and continued his duties.

Mari Illustrious Makinami was initially baffled by the Snap and the sudden appearance of the Avengers in her world. Still, she got used to such strange events and was pleased that not was the Human Instrumentality Project prevented but half of her world's population was brought back.

Misato Katsuragi had the scars of the past with her, but nonetheless, she felt better after opening up to the Avengers and could keep herself together, mentally speaking. As a high-ranking member of NERV who helped bring down Gendo and SEELE, she was promoted to the rank of Commander. With this new position, Misato needed a new home and so she bought one that wasn't far from the NERV HQ. Furthermore, she was the legal guardian of Shinji after Gendo's arrest and took it upon herself to ensure he was in a better place.

Ritsuko Akagi could no longer continue her affair with Gendo after his arrest. She was not too unhappy about this, given her newfound distaste for Gendo over the Human Instrumentality Project. She continued serving as a top NERV scientist but was appointed by Misato as the new Deputy Commander as part of her first orders.

Ryoji Kaji was brought back to a world that was different from when he last saw it when he learned of Gendo's arrest and the downfall of SEELE. As a double agent, Kaji knew of his true intentions and the Human Instrumentality Project. He was glad not only to be alive once more but to see the world saved from the schemes of SEELE and to see Misato again. Currently, he is engaged to Misato with plans to marry and have a child.

Kaworu Nagisa was perhaps the most affected by the Snap on Earth-95 as he was dusted from existence. By the time he was brought back, SEELE and the Human Instrumentality Project were no more and Kaworu could no longer play a part in it, unlike his original fate. However, he chose to accept this and his existence was revealed to the world by NERV. He would be put under the permanent guardianship of Commander Misato.

Mana Kirishima was with her family for a quiet life of peace when she learned of Gendo's arrest and the dissolution of SEELE. She already held distrust towards the government and Gendo for trying to arrest or kill her and she had the last laugh in this event.

Kozo Fuyutsuki, like Ryoji Kaji, was brought back into a world very different from the one he knew prior to the Snap and learned that his colleague Gendo was arrested along with the Human Instrumentality Project revealed to the public and stopped for good. He was content with the outcome given his lukewarm relationship with Gendo and continued his duties as Deputy Commander until he was replaced by Ritsuko, much to his displeasure.

Shigeru Aoba was back and continued his normal duties.

Gendo Ikari was sent to the maximum-security Fuchu-3 Prison to spend the rest of his days in solitary confinement. He lost everything: His job, his son and daughter and his home. Gendo had to live with the consequences of Earth-191208's Mightiest Heroes coming to his world and changing history.

SEELE's highest-ranking members were either killed in the crossfire or committed suicide to avoid jail time. Whatever the case, the ambitions of their members were foiled and SEELE was gone.

And so Earth-95 would continue to face the threat of the Angels without SEELE or other organizations to undermine them. However, it was far from the last this reality was visited or seen throughout the Multiverse. Many threats are out there to not just Earth-95 but the Multiverse itself and Shinji found himself working with a band of heroes to save it just as the Avengers, the Justice League, Team Arrow, Team Flash, the Legends of Tomorrow, and others did against the forces of Thanos with assistance from The Ones Behind the Wall.

END

In the deepest corners of the Internet in the present day, Ficboy2001 analyzed the different realities through specific shards of time and shared his findings with The Pighead, who was curious about them as she did before. One of the shards shared by him was a conversation between Shinji and Captain America on the importance of heroes, which took place after Ireul's infiltration but before the chase for Mana.

"As you can see here Pighead, Shinji is speaking with Captain America on the importance of heroes after the latter learned of his passion for Studio Ghibli's Nausicaa and Ultraman, who might just exist in this vast and infinite Multiverse. Since this Shinji can't speak English well, his dialogue is translated by Misato. Here is an excerpt of their conversation."

"Shinji, I know you're into this Nausicaa and Ultraman because they're your personal heroes. I don't know much about them myself but I know you want to be like your idols and you want to good in this world."

"Shinji, anata ga kono naushikato Urutoraman ni muchua no wa shitte imasu, nazenara karera wa anata no kojin-tekina hirodakaradesu. Watashi jishin wa karera ni tsuite amari shirimasenga, anata ga aidoru no yo naritai, kono sekai de yoikoto o shitai to omotte iru koto wa wakarmiasu"

"Hontoni?" asked Shinji in Japanese.

"Really."

"Yes. You and your allies can be the heroes of your own story like Nausicaa and Ultraman if you put your heart and mind for the greater good."

"Hai. Yori okina zen no tame ni kokoro to seishin o sasageraba, anata to anata no nakama wa Naushika ya Urutoraman no yo ni anata jishin no monogatari no hiro ni nareudeshou."

You see, Shinji became more confident in himself through this conversation and it was far from the last. Besides this conversation, Ficboy2001 also showed a time shard for the T-RIDEN-T robot gone rogue which took place after the chase for Mana and before the confrontation. NERV and the Japanese government were here as usual, as were the Avengers of Earth-191208 to prevent it from destroying buildings or even lives. Thanks to their efforts, the T-RIDEN-T robot was stopped.

"Well, the Avengers of Earth-191208 sure made a difference on Earth-95," The Pighead remarked. "I'm glad they did because we don't have to worry about SEELE anymore since they're out of the picture."

"The 100 Greatest Threats to the Multiverse has a vacant spot and I wonder who will fill it anyway. I mean, many villains can fill the former spot of SEELE and I got to think who will it be depending if their threat level is multiversal," said Ficboy2001.

"Agreed. We have to figure out who is the next threat to the Multiverse."

"Speaking of the Multiverse, I do have some realities of interest to check out. The first is Earth-67, home to Arsene Lupin III and his band of thieves who go on all sorts of crazy heists worldwide while being chased by Inspector Koichi Zenigata of Interpol. Their moral alignment is a bit fuzzy, but they have standards such as not harming innocents and going up against criminals much worse than they are at the very least."

"Arsene Lupin? I'm French, and I'm aware of the stories of the eponymous gentleman thief by Maurice Leblanc. Japan basically did its take on him through his apparent grandson with all sorts of different periods without even aging," The Pighead remarked. "Who knows, we might get Lupin III to protect the Multiverse from a major threat."

"Earth-67 isn't just home to Lupin III and his gang or Inspector Zenigata. They also have inhabitants from another separate universe that was merged into this one but I will reveal it once I go through the entire story."

"Okay."

"Other realities of interest to me so far include Earth-1984 (Hasbroverse including not just the Transformers and GI Joe but other Hasbro characters too like My Little Pony), Earth-84B (Dragon Ball, as in the Super era), Earth-1996 (Persona and Catherine, specifically the one with the Phantom Thieves mixed with space tourism), Earth-0913 (Attack on Titan) and Earth-2007 (Assassin's Creed). As for subjects, they're Optimus Prime of Earth-1984, Son Goku of Earth-84B, Ren Amamiya/Joker and Ann Takamaki/Panther of Earth-1996, Eren Yeager of Earth-0913 and Ezio Auditore of Earth-2007 along with Shinji Ikari from Earth-95. These people do have extraordinary abilities like the Avengers across multiple universes and might be able to work together to save their worlds from a larger threat. There are other universes I would like to share someday like Earth-2010 (Danganronpa) but I don't have the time right now. We might be able to get these individuals on our side if necessary."

"Maybe. I mean, these worlds and people are quite different from each other and who knows if they'll work well together not to mention possible language barriers. Then again, considering how the Avengers of Earth-199999 and Earth-191208 were formed, I think we could do the same here if we're lucky."

"I may or may not be with you Pighead for such occasions but..."

All of a sudden, Michael Weyer came in to inform Ficboy2001 and The Pighead of dire news.

"Listen, I got something to share with you and the others...Randall Flagg is out there! I repeat Randall Flagg is out there!"

"What!? As in Stephen King's most evil villain?" The Pighead asked.

"Yes, the main antagonist of The Stand or Earth-66609 as it's classified."

"Looks like we have another Multiverse Threat to replace SEELE. Who knows, we might have to confront him."

"Well, I might be a little hands off even if I were to get involved in fighting against Flagg. Just be careful of him and his virus Captain Trips. It's highly lethal!"

"We've heard of this and that why we will recruit the necessary heroes to stop him. Or in Eren Yeager's case, make him less evil."

"Whatever. Let's make sure that Randall is stopped for good like Thanos."

"Alright."

The Multiverse now had another major threat in Randall Flagg, the demon who ravaged Earth-66609. For the Ones Behind the Wall like Ficboy2001 and The Pighead, they hoped to find a band of heroes who could stop him before he destroys other worlds with Captain Trips. But that was for another story.

And that was it: The seventh and final chapter of Infinity Crisis: Neon Genesis Evangelion. The story is officially Completed. It's been quite sometime before we got to the finale and the Avengers of Earth-191208 returning to their home reality after saving Earth-95. Thanks to everyone who has supported this story throughout the three and a half months since it was first published. And regarding this chapter, it's actually the fourth-longest in this story (7,093) behind Multiversal Revelations (7,375), The Snap (7,460), Kosmos (8,106) and A Brave New World (10,795). No wonder it can take some time to publish new chapters or stories for a while.

As for Earth-95 itself, I will revisit this reality at some point as teased above. My next story involves Lupin III and another property that will be revealed once it is released.

Regarding the story's title, it was not supposed to be Infinity Crisis: Neon Genesis Evangelion. When I was writing the story, I did briefly consider other titles in my mind and had IC: NGE as a working title or a placeholder but given that this was the introduction of Neon Genesis Evangelion into the IC multiverse, I couldn't think of any other better title than this so that's what I chose. Moreover, it won't be the last appearance of Earth-95 (NGE) in the Infinity Crisis canon, as it will be revisited eventually along with other universes that exist or will make their debut.

Regarding the reference to Randall Flagg and The Stand from Cleaning Duties, it was not my original plan but I added it in when the story was published as is the appearance of Infinity Crisis creator Michael Weyer. From the basic description of Flagg, he is shaping up to be the next multiversal threat in Infinity Crisis and so why not tease this possibility? Speaking of the multiverse, I did take inspiration from What If? in creating a team of multiversal heroes to stop a larger threat that (mostly) wiped out his universe. I'll be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of this series since I find it rather flawed in it's episodes but it's basic concept along with its episodes featured elsewhere in IC, are why I teased a team of multiversal heroes in IC: NGE. Had it not been the case, I might have gone with a different villain, like say Junko Enoshima, although it might have involved trials and killing games from Danganronpa. Speaking of Danganronpa, it's now officially part of the IC multiverse alongside Assassin's Creed and Persona (including Catherine).

The 100 Multiverse Threats list is a reference to the fourth chapter of Deathframe in which the Pighead discusses the 100 villains that threaten the Multiverse itself.

The epilogue was something I had in my mind for quite some time, ever since I wrote the prologue for Infinity Crisis: Neon Genesis Evangelion. After all, how can you not start a story with a prologue than have one with an epilogue? Both the prologue and epilogue are based on Fallout: New Vegas and consider it a Shout-Out as is the use of Tears of Joy for IC: NGE.

I went with seven chapters since it was a side-story and because I do have other work or personal matters that can get in the way of things. I was able to fulfill the seven-chapter goal and I'm glad I finished my first written story on this very website.

Anyway, feedback is welcome as usual for this story and those I will make in the near-future for Infinity Crisis or elsewhere.
