Socks let out a high pitched gasp as she regained her consciousness from... whatever happened. She couldn't see anything but darkness, she was getting scared. "M-Muffin...?" Socks whimpered, "Muffin, Where are you...?" There was no response.

"Socks? Socks, is that you?" Said a voice that came from the darkness, "Socks, keep making noises! I'll come find you!"

"Ok..." Socks whimpered once more, she could hear the figure breathing and crawling, but she couldn't make out who it was.

"Socks, where are you?" The voice said.

"I...I...I..." Socks was panicking, it was too dark for her to see anything, she thought she was blind.

"Is that you Socks-?" The figure said as she reached out a hand to touch Socks, but Socks screamed. Her screams terror echoed in the void leaving the figure to cover her ears due to Socks screams sounding like a dog whistle.

"Socks, be quiet!" The figure said hugging Socks tightly to block out her mouth. "Shush! Stop screaming!" Socks immediately knew that voice, "Muffin...?" Socks hugged her sister tightly, she never wanted to let go.

"Socks, it's okay, I'm here now. I'll always be here for you." Muffin's voice was comforting, it was a little strange for Socks, cause' she always heard her sister yelling and screaming when she doesn't get what she wants. Still, her voice was smoothing.

"You alright, Socks?" Muffin asked in that same tone of voice. No words came from Socks's mouth, nothing except for a sad, relaxed whimper. "I'll take that as a yes."

Both pups remained like this for a few seconds before a thought came to Socks's mind, "Bluey! Bingo!" Socks exclaimed to Muffin. The grey pup gasped, "Oh, gosh! I forgot about those two!" Holding her sister's hand, Muffin looked around the dark room. She saw nothing but darkness. "Bluey! Bingo!" Muffin shouted, but her echo was the only thing that answered her.

"C'mon Socks." Muffin said to her sister, "let's go find them." With that being said, Muffin and Socks ventured around the darkness to look for Bluey and Bingo.

"Sorry, I haven't seen them..."

"Oh, okay, thanks anyways." The door closed on Bandit's face. The blue Heeler sighed as he walked away from Wendy's house with a sad expression on his face. He looked up and saw Chilli walking down the sidewalk with the same expression on her face.

"No luck, huh?" Bandit sadly said to his wife. "No, neither of Bluey's friends saw her at all today. Oh, Bandit, I'm so worried about them." Tears escaped her eyes, "I have a feeling that we'll never find them.. I have a feeling that they've been-" When that specific thought crossed her mind, she couldn't help but sob.

"Chilli..." Bandit hugged the sobbing Heeler. He hated it when she was like that, though, this was the second time that she cried out in grief. The first time nearly led the two of them to depression. Long before Bingo, long before Bluey, there was another. Another that could have been a boy or a girl, another that would've became an older sister or brother. Another who was now not here, rather up in the skies, living an infinite, eternal, happy life. No, this isn't about that, this is about Bluey and Bingo. He took a deep breath. Putting that thought off to the side, he looked at Chilli, who was still sobbing for her children.

"Chilli," Bandit said, sounding confident and brave, "let's go find our kids."
