I remember the day after that whiskey. That was the day, I got lost.

Day 8

We woke up with a hangover from hell. Considering that earth is hell now, that statement wasn't entirely wrong. We started our operation at 2PM that day. That was how bad the hangover was. Still, we will definitely do it again if we were given the chance. Luna, Luan and Lily hid in the back room. Just the five of us were there in the common room. Lana with her welding machine, me, Lola and Lucy with the spears waiting, Lynn at the ladders, and Lisa at in the back with tranquillizers and chemicals I know nothing about. We attached a rope to the hatch door, that way we can close it when Fake Dad takes the bait. That morning to noon, Luan didn't laugh like a maniac, she was empty. Maybe it was for the better.

"You guys ready?" Lynn asked, she was at the top of the ladders.

"I'm good," Lana said as she smacked her welding helmet shut.

"We're good, are the targets in sight?" I asked.

"Yup, Lisa this plan better works," Lynn said. Lynn climbed up the ladders, opened the hatch and fired a round. BANG!

We waited exactly 7 seconds for Fake Dad to come lunging inside. Lynn jumped towards us and pulled the rope, closing the hatch. Just as Fake Dad fell inside the cage. We stabbed him down. Yellow-black blood oozed out of his body as he screeched. Lana sealed the top and welded it shut. We didn't stop stabbing him. As the arcs sealed the top piece of the cage, we yelled, and screamed at this idiotic one. By the time we were done, the metal spears had punctured through his body, making him immobile.

"YOU INFERIOR OBJECTS! RELEASE ME THIS INSTANCE!" He yelled as Lana welded the spears to the cage, making it harder for him to move. "LET GO OF ME AND LET ME FEAST ON YOU! MY CHILDREN NEEDS YOUR SKIN!"

"We did it." Lisa said. "Fascinating. It appears to possess intelligence. Unlike the reports we saw on TV," Lisa blabbered. "We should start."

Lynn ran to the back room and came back with a small bag of syringes and sample tubes. Luna came back with her.

"Now let's see what you're made of." Lisa said as she took a sample of its blood. Before going to the back room, she said. "Until we're certain as to what will kill him, try to interrogate him, and if you find a way to kill him on your end, we'll be pretty much set for life."

"With pleasure Lisa,"

"Umm... kids?" Fake Dad gave an awkward smile. "Perhaps we could discuss this over a cup of blood?"

We didn't even get to start yet when Lana sprayed him with a can of aerosol bug spray. His skin melted and he screamed and screeched. Lisa turned around immediately.

"What in Newton's name did you use?" Lisa asked as she grabbed the can off Lana's hand.

"Bug spray, I thought we were interrogating this guy?"

"You have made the biggest armament discovery since the atomic bomb, Lana you saved the entire planet," Lisa said with glee.

"... p-please... s-stop..." He cried. We smiled.

It took us 4 full seconds of spraying to completely melt him.

"It must be the N,N-Diethyl-meta-toluamide that's killing it, if I can mass produce it, WE WILL BE UNTOUCHABLE!" Lisa yelled.

"English please," Lola demanded.

"We need the DEETs"

We spend the rest of that day mopping the little bits of Fake Dad up. We didn't really care anymore. It was just another day. Sure that skin used to belong to our dad, but we don't care anymore. We're gonna die too. It's not like we can give a proper burial. I mean, even mom's trapped inside a crate. I'm pretty sure she's already decomposing. Which I don't care much about surprisingly.

Just as we flushed him down the toilet. A loud explosion happened in the back room. We ran there, and we saw Lisa mangled on the floor. I guess I wasn't really used to it. I vomited. The chemicals she used weren't stable. I suppose even geniuses make mistakes. I didn't want to look up, so I just looked down at the puke covered floor. I could hear Lana and Lola crying. I have to look up, I need to, God is teaching me something here. So, I looked up and I saw Luna's already pale face turn paler. Lynn was angry. Lucy ran to the vents. And Luan... She said "She went out in a blast!" and cackled loudly. I saw the blood vessels on Lynn's head bulge out. That was when Lynn started punching Luan.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP LUAN!" Lynn yelled as she pulled Luan down to the floor.

"HAHAHHAAHAAHHAAHHAAH! SHE BLEW AWAY!" Luan screamed as Lynn pulled on her hair.

"LYNN THAT'S ENOUGH!" Luna tried to pull Lynn away, but was pushed down instead. She fell back and her head hit the door frame to the back room. "Argh!" She cried. I saw the blood stain on the door frame. I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do.

"Lincoln, stop the fight," I heard Bun Bun said. "Don't let them destroy each other. Do what you must."

"Yes Bun Bun," I said as I got up. My hands grabbed a broken piece of wood from the explosion, and I smacked Lynn's head once, causing her to pass out. "It was for your own good."

"HAHAHAHA! WHAT HAS FOUR EYES AND CAN FLY?" Luan shouted. "LISA!"

I can't take it anymore, I took the gun out, and I pushed it to my skull. BANG! I didn't die. Luna had pulled me down to the floor.

"LINCOLN DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE DO THAT TO US!" Luna yelled at me as she pinned me to the floor. The anger, the fear, the sadness, the whirlwind of emotions in her eyes. I was scared. I am still scared. I can cry. So I did. A dam broke that day. I cried and cried. Luna sat me up and hugged me tight, I could feel her take the gun away from me. I heard it clank on the ground behind me, I wanted to turn around and grab it, but Luna hugged me tighter. "Please don't leave me too, Lincoln." She cried. I could feel Lana and Lola hugging me too. I could hear them cry it all out. I thought that we were now jaded from all the deaths, but I guess we never will be that way. No matter what they say, death is always a painful farewell.

"I'm sorry,"

Luna and Lana struggled to tie Lynn up to the pole after that, Luna kept both of the guns on her. They left Lisa's body inside the same crate we left mom. Most of the supplies we had were destroyed in that explosion. We were only left with a 4 days worth of food, for the seven of us. It turned quiet. We sat there on the floor in front of the monitor that night. Huddled together except for Lynn and Lucy. We tied Lynn to the pole and Lucy didn't come out of the vents. We just laid there. Trying to forget what we saw today. I wish I had the courage to end all of our miseries that night. I wish I was stronger. If I was braver, I wouldn't have angered the Gods. I would've been able to bring them to salvation.

"Lincoln, you'll have another chance one day," Bun Bun waved from my bed before pulling the curtains shut. "Goodnight, Lincoln,"

"I'm sorry,"

I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

I want to go to heaven. Forgive me God.
