Two security officers were running for their lives as something chased them, and they quickly hid behind a van.

"It's going to kill us!"

Then, they felt something hitting the van with enough force to shake it.

"It's going to eat us!"

It was then that Philip and D'Angelo arrived on a quad bike.

"What a situation?" Philip asked, hopping off the quad bike.

"It wandered near the facility. It has been making frightening noises, destroying everything in its path, freaking everybody out. We tried to chase it off, but it just went crazy!"

Philip made his way to the van and gave the hand signal for D'Angelo to wait. He then quickly jumped to the other side of the truck, and D'Angelo closed his eyes.

"You again!" Philip groaned.

D'Angelo opened his eyes and went over to investigate and discovered that it was a sheep slamming into the side of the van.

"Stay back, son. It's lost its mind," Philip warned. "Might be rabid."

The sheep then turned to face them, and D'Angelo noticed it was limping.

"But Pop! Look!" D'Angelo pointed. "Something's wrong with its foot. Let me check."

Philip nodded, and D'Angelo made his way over to the sheep, who bleated at him threateningly.

"Whoa! Hey, don't worry. I'm here to help you," said D'Angelo softly, examining its foot. "Easy. There we go." He then turned to his father. "Can I get your multitool?"

Philip then handed D'Angelo his multitool.

"Poor little sheep's hooves are overgrown," said D'Angelo as he began trimming the hoove. "That explains the crankiness. Just needed a trim."

"How did you know that?" Philip asked, amazed as D'Angelo's as he got back up.

"Summers with Gramps, remember?" D'Angelo smiled. "He helped animals. I paid attention."

The sheep blested happily and began to run off.

Philip smiled at the sight. "Look at him go. Not such a bad sheep after all."

The sheep stopped at one of the motion sensors and kicked it out of the ground before running off.

"Spoke too soon," Philip grumbled, then proudly looked at his son. "You might be a great army medic someday."

"Or a veterinarian?" said D'Angelo.

"Maybe so. Doctor D'Angelo! Has a nice ring to it," he said, patting D'Angelo on the back.

His father then walked away, and D'Angelo smiled.

Later that same day, D'Angelo met up with the other Dragon Riders, who began making their way through the crystal maze.

"Ah, it's a good day to be a Dragon Rider, out exploring, taking in the sights," said D'Angelo cheerfully.

"Someone's a ray of sunshine today," Jun noted.

"What's that like?" Alex asked.

"Yeah, D, I've never seen you this chipper before," said James.

"Something happened, D'Angelo?" Tom asked.

"Kinda, yeah," said D'Angelo. "I mean, I really impressed my dad earlier when nobody else knew what to do."

"That's awesome," said Tom.

"He should be proud," said Jun.

"So now I'm just leaning into those positive vibes, enjoying the vistas," said D'Angelo. "I think this place gets prettier every time we come here."

They then heard a belching sound.

"Well, that ruined the moment," said James.

"Sounds like someone disagrees with you," said Alex.

They looked down and saw three boulder-eating dragons on the ground, and they were eating the crystals.

"I've seen those dragons before—in the Fire Realm," said D'Angelo and then one of them threw up. "They weren't so barfy, though. Urgh!"

They soon landed and saw the ground was covered with barf.

"Yikes!" said Tom. "Watch where you step."

"Well, this is ruining the scenery," said James.

"Remind me of the time I rode the Whirling Wheelie at the fair," said Alex.

"Ew, gross!" said Jun and nearly gagged herself.

"Come on, now," said D'Angelo. "There is nothing gross about this. Their stomachs are just upset. It happens. It's nature."

Alex then approached one of these dragons as it barfed up. "Mm! Nature's majesty!"

"I don't know, D, this doesn't seem like it's natural," James frowned.

D'Angelo examined one of the dragons as it ate some of the crystals. "You're right; it's the crystals they're eating. They're meant to eat volcanic rock. Fire Realm food. Not this stuff."

"Why do they keep eating it if it makes them sick?" Tom frowned.

"Probably the same reason Eugene eats cheesy loops until he breaks out in hives," said Jun.

"They also don't have anything else to eat," James added.

Then, one of the dragons collapsed.

"Oh-no, this one is getting worse," said D'Angelo. "I don't think we should let them stay here."

"D'Angelo's right. We've got to get these dragons back to the Fire Realm," Tom agreed.

"Uh… any idea how we do that?" Alex asked.

"Leave it to Doctor D," said D'Angelo.

Seconds later, D'Angelo and Alex hid behind the crystals so the boulder-eating dragons couldn't see.

"All we need is a little jump scare to get them moving," said D'Angelo, looking at Alex.

"Ready, Feathers?" Alex asked, and Feathers gave a small roar. "Let them have it!"

Tom then chose that moment to walk out towards the boulder, eating dragons and eating a bag of cheesy loops.

He then turned and looked at the others. "Hey, what's the plan?"

Feathers then unleashed a sonic blast, which knocked Tom off his feet but did not affect the boulder-eating dragons.

"How about a warning?" Tom yelled.

Jun tried a different tactic to teach the boulder-eating dragons not to eat the crystals.

"Okay. This!" she said as she held out the crystal, pretended to eat it, and then pretended to throw up. "This is bad."

Sadly, to her annoyance, the boulder-eating dragons responded by throwing up.

"Mount up, Dragon Riders!" D'Angelo ordered. "On my signal, we make as much noise as we can. That goes for all your dragons as well. We startle them, then drive them out of the Fire Realm—cowboy style!"

"Gotcha, partner!" said Tom with a cowboy-like accent.

"One, two… Ha!" D'Angelo cried.

They all then rushed out towards the dragons like actual cowboys and cowgirls.

"Yeehaw!" Tom cried.

They all got into the spirit of things, apart from Alex.

"Cowboy sounds!" she said unenthusiastic.

Tom was getting the spirit of things as he and Thunder danced around the boulder, eating dragons like a genuine cowboy.

"Ride 'em, cowboy!" he yelled, but then he was excellently thrown off Thunder and landed on the crystal surface rather hard.

However, the boulder-eating dragons didn't move and kept eating the crystals and throwing up.

"This is starting to feel useless," said Jun. "Nothing else here interests them."

"True," D'Angelo agreed. "Nothing here."

Moments later, they were now in the Fire Realm.

"I figure if they won't go to their food, we bring their food to them," said D'Angelo. "Then we can use it to lure them back to the Fire Realm."

"Not a bad idea, Doctor D," said Tom. "What's on the menu?"

"Lava rocks," said D'Angelo as they landed in a crater. He then quickly approached a bunch of rocks on the ground. "Ooh! These look perfect!"

He began taking them up, but Plowhorn notched, looking a little agitated.

"No, girl, aren't for you," said D'Angelo.

"Is Plowhorn all right?" Jun asked as he picked up more rocks. "She seems a little agitated.

"Yeah, D. She doesn't normally act like this," said Tom.

"It looks like she's trying to tell you something," said James.

"Aw, I think she's just worried about returning to those dragons," said D'Angelo as he rubbed Plowhorn. "I've seen them eat rocks like this before. I'm almost positive that this is their feeding grounds."

Plowhorn still looked a little agitated.

"It'll be okay, girl," said D'Angelo softly. "Trust me. I showed my dad what was up last night. I think I know what I'm doing down here."

Tom nodded. "You heard the man. Let's get these rocks back to the Crystal Realm."

Moments later, they returned to the Crystal Realm, where the boulder-eating dragons were still eating the crystals and regurgitating.

D'Angelo then landed on the ground and began to approach them, but Plowhorn tried to pull him back by pulling on his backpack.

"Don't worry, girl," said D'Angelo, unaware that the boulder-eating dragons were looking at him hungrily. "It's going to be fine. I know what I'm doing."

"Uh, D'Angelo?" Tom warned.

"Tom, relax," said D'Angelo as the dragons sniffed the air and bounced towards him. "I got this."

"D, behind you!" Tom yelled.

D'Angelo turned around and saw that the dragons were now charging towards him with hungry eyes.

"Back! What it!" D'Angelo yelled and quickly ran for it, dropping two of the rocks as a result.

One of the dragons immediately ate one of the rocks, and then all three of them began wrestling for the final one.

"Whoa! They're going for it!" D'Angelo beamed. "See, I was right!"

"Okay, but now, how are we going to lure them out of here?" Alex asked.

"Oh, right," said D'Angelo, realising the problem.

The dragons were still fighting over the egg and firing lava blasts in a frenzy.

"We have to get those rocks back!" D'Angelo yelled.

"No, it's too dangerous," said Tom. "We've got to get out of here."

"D'Angelo, Tom's right. Let's go," said Jun.

D'Angelo then turned to one of the dragons who was now slowly approaching him, but Plowhorn quickly flew over to him, and he quickly mounted her. He then joined the other Dragon Riders as they regrouped, putting a bit of distance between them and the dragons.

Once they landed, they began discussing what had just happened.

"What the heck just happened?" Tom asked. "One minute, those dragons were chill, then once sniff of those fire rocks, and it's a feeding frenzy!"

"At least we fed them something they didn't regurgitate," said Alex positively, but then noticed that everyone was giving her blank looks. "Too soon."

"We did just hand them their favourite food after the spend who knows how long eating those crystals; I'm not surprised they went in a frenzy over them," said James.

"Any other ideas, D'Angelo?" Jun asked.

Plowhorn was still acting rather anxious.

"Plowhorn seems to know something," Tom noted.

"Look, I know she's nervous, but I know a lot about animals myself," said D'Angelo. "I studied them. I'm going to be a veterinarian someday. I mean, if my dad trusts me, why can't you guys?"

They all looked at one another and then back to D'Angelo.

"We do trust you," said Tom. "Nobody's doubting that you know your stuff. But good thought can come from anywhere, even a dragon."

D'Angelo then climbed onto Plowhorn's back. "Guys, caring for animals is my speciality. Let me get back to those fire dragons so I can fix this. I've still got one rock left. We know they'll come after this, so we can lure them with it. What you say, girl?"

Plowhorn started like a bucking bronco, and D'Angelo tried his hardest to stay on.

"Whoa! Hey! Girl! Hold up!" D'Angelo yelled, and Plowhorn then took off.

"I think don't think Plowhorn like that idea," said James as he and the other Riders mounted their dragons and chased after them.

"Hey, wait up!" Jun yelled.

"Plowhorn, where are you going?" D'Angelo cried as they passed over the boulder-eating dragons. "Plowhorn, you're passing them! Plowhorn! Listen to me!"

Plowhorn didn't want to listen to D'Angelo and flew straight into the Fire Realm with the other Dragon Riders close behind.

"Plowhorn, this is seriously not cool!" D'Angelo yelled. "Where are you taking me? Plowhorn!"

The other Dragon Riders noticed that Plowhorn was taking them to the same crater where they found the rocks.

"She's taking us back to where we found the rocks," said Jun.

"I've got a bad feeling about this," said Tom.

They soon landed back in the crater; they still had no idea why Plowhorn took them back there.

"What has gotten into you?" D'Angelo asked as he jumped off Plowhorn. "Why are we back here?"

Plowhorn then nuzzled the Rocky was still holding and, when he held it out, began to shake.

"D, why is that rock shaking?" Tom asked.

Jun gasped. "That's not a rock!"

Horror filled D'Angelo's eyes as he soon realised what he had in his hand. "It's a dragon egg. What have I done? How could I…? I took another dragon's eggs? What kind of vet ally?" He then turned to Plowhorn, realising this was what she was trying to tell them all along. "And I ignored you."

"D'Angelo, it's okay," said Tom.

"No, it's not! It's a total failure!" D'Angelo yelled. "Malpractice!"

Then, suddenly, the entire ground began to shake ominously.

"Uh, guys? Hate to crash the pity party, but anyone feel that?" Alex asked.

They then felt the tremor once more, and the dragons became anxious.

"Earthquake?" Jun asked.

Then, a boulder heading straight towards them suddenly landed on a nearby pathway.

"Run!" Jun yelled.

Everyone quickly mounted their dragons, apart from D'Angelo.

"D'Angelo, look out!" Tom yelled.

D'Angelo looked up and saw the rolling boulder heading straight towards him, and he would have been flattened if Plowhorn hadn't grabbed him in the nick of time. The boulder then rolled off the crater and landed on another pathway opposite it.

D'Angelo sighed in relief.

"Oh, that was close," said Jun.

However, they then noticed that the boulder had stopped and rolled back in the opposite direction.

"Uh, guys?" Alex gulped. "Since when do boulders turn around?"

"I don't think that's a boulder," said James.

"Then what is that thing?" Tom asked.

They soon got their answer as the boulder returned to the crater, revealing itself to be a dragon. This dragon bore a similar appearance to the boulder-eating dragons from earlier, but it had far larger wings covered in spikes and an extra jaw with an extra tongue inside it, which it showed when it roared at them angrily.

"It's a dragon!" Jun gasped.

"It's the mother!" said Tom.

She then roared at them curiously.

"She's really mad," said Alex faintly.

"So will you if you discovered someone had just broken into your nest," said James.

"This is all my fault," said D'Angelo, who began to approach the mother dragon.

"D'Angelo!" Tom yelled.

"I'm sorry! I didn't know!" said D'Angelo to the mother dragon.

She then roared at him, indicating she did not want to hear excuses.

"No time for apologies," said Alex. "Don't die now so you can feel bad later."

"Hurry!" Jun pleaded.

"Go, go!" Tom yelled as he took off.

"Let's move it!" James yelled, following after him.

D'Angelo quickly jumped onto Plowhorn's back, and she followed them.

Soon, all the Dragon Riders were putting as much distance as they could from the nest, but the mother dragon soon followed them.

"Come on, Pal. Push it," Tom encouraged Thunder. "She's too big to keep up with us for long."

They flew even faster, and it looked as if Tom was right as the mother dragon began flying back down to the nest.

"I think we're in the clear," said Jun.

However, Jun couldn't have been more wrong. The mother dragon flew back to the nest, rolled into a ball and struck the ground hard. The moment she did, she created a small quake and a powerful shockwave that slammed into them; it was so powerful that Jun was thrown off Wu.

Wu and Wei quickly dived down and caught her.

"Thanks," she said to the two-headed dragon.

"Everyone okay?" Tom asked. James and the girls nodded, and then Tom looked at D'Angelo. "D'Angelo?"

D'Angelo looked devastated as he looked down at the nest; it was clear he was far from okay.

They returned to the Crystal Realm, where D'Angelo remained silent for the entire journey.

"D, there's no way you could have known," said Tom.

"That's not true," said D'Angelo, looking down at Plowhorn. "You try to warn me, girl." He then looked at the others. "And all of you try to get me to listen to her. But I didn't."

"We can still fix this," said Jun.

"I'd better not. Take me back, girl."

He then began to fly away from the other Riders.

"D'Angelo, wait!" Tom pleaded.

"What for?" D'Angelo asked. "A doctor is supposed to do no harm, and I…" He then suddenly felt his backpack shaking. He removed it and looked inside to find the egg; he must've subconsciously put it inside. "See? You even failed to return her egg. Haven't I done enough harm for one day?"

"D'Angelo, one mistake shouldn't define your entire experience," said James.

"But it was more than one mistake," said D'Angelo and then gave Tom the egg. "Please, bring this back to her. For me."

He then flew away, looking as if he had a dark cloud over his head.

Jun looked at Tom. "Should we…?"

"No," said Tom. "Give him some space. Let's focus on the dragons."

"So… what do we do?" Jun asked.

"Damage control. We fix what we can. That pack is still loose in the Crystal Realm."

"What about the egg?" Alex asked. "We have to return it."

"We will," Tom assured her. "But first, we've got to make it count."

D'Angelo had reached the Lair and slid off Plowhorn's back.

"Thanks for the ride back, girl," he said, and she nudged him, which he ignored. "Sorry, I messed up so bad."

He then began to remove his fire suit as he climbed his way out of the Lair. Plowhorn growled at him softly, trying to get him to come back to help the others.

"Nah, it's better for everyone if I sit this one out," he said.

Plowhorn continued to roar at him, trying to get him to come back.

D'Angelo had made it back home and immediately made it to his room. He looked out the window and saw the sheep he helped earlier scamper off.

He had been so proud earlier when he helped that sheep, but now he was utterly devastated. He was so confident in his abilities that he never second-guessed himself or listened to anyone around him.

He then went to his bed, sat down, and moped.

The other Dragon Riders observed the boldly eating dragons still eating the crystals.

"There they are!" said Tom.

"What's the plan?" Jun asked.

"Anybody up for a game of keep away?" Tom smiled, holding out the egg.

"Oh, I'm game," James smiled, getting the idea.

The two of them then left to put the plan into motion.

"See, that sounds fun, but it's going to be really dangerous," said Alex.

"Danger can be fun," said Jun.

"Listen to yourself."

Tom then landed in front of the dragons holding out the egg.

"Hey!" he yelled.

However, the dragons didn't seem interested in continuing to eat the crystal. Tom looked down at Thunder, who then roared to get their attention.

"Mm! Who is hungry for a delicious egg?" Tom asked, holding out the egg for them to see.

Upon seeing the egg, the dragons' mouths began to water and chased after Tom.

"Here they come, Pal," said Tom. "Now we've just got a low them back to the Fire Realm. James, go!"

Tom then quickly tossed the egg up into the air, and James flew out of nowhere, grabbing it. The boulder-eating dragons took to the air after him, and the other Riders took off. James knew that while they had to keep their distance simultaneously, they could lose the dragons, so he and Blade kept on average speed.

However, the dragons immediately fired a lava blast at them, and Blade had to make some fancy manoeuvres around some crystals. Blade then quickly made a sharp turn that the dragons couldn't make and collided with the crystals and each other.

"Alex, over to you!" James yelled, tossing Alex the egg.

Sadly, Alex couldn't catch it properly and fumbled with it.

"Get it! Get it!" Tom yelled.

Alex caught the egg properly this time, but the boulder-eating dragons were practically upon her. One of them almost got the egg if she hadn't pulled it away in time. Feathers had to fly around to avoid getting rammed by the dragons.

"Got it!" Alex yelled before Feathers flew upwards and made her drop the egg.

Jun then swooped in and grabbed the egg, and the dragons were soon chasing after her.

"Wu, Wei, any second," she said. The three dragons were now surrounding them. "Hit the brakes."

Wu and Wei suddenly stopped, shooting past the dragons and surprising them. However, they quickly overcame their surprise and charged at Jun.

"Up top!" Tom yelled as he flew in and then grabbed the egg from her. "Thank you."

The dragons then immediately made a U-turn and chased after Tom, who was heading straight towards the Fire Realm.

"Almost there!" Tom yelled.

They flew through the hole and were now in the Fire Realm.

"All we've got to do is steer them to a sweet, sweet volcanic rock buffet," said Tom.

"There," Jun pointed.

Tom looked down and saw a small island filled with volcanic rock, the perfect place for these dragons.

"That'll do," said Tom, then flew towards the island. "Chow down, guys!"

When they were close enough to the island, the dragons saw the volcanic rock, flew towards it, and ate as much as they could.

"It worked!" said Tom.

They heard a roar from above and knew it was coming from the quake dragon. They quickly flew back towards the nest, and Tom placed the egg in the centre.

"There," he said just as the mothers showed up.

Upon seeing her, Tom immediately backed away and could tell she was still rather angry. However, she didn't seem to be focusing her anger on them.

"What is she focused on?" Jun frowned.

"She's probably wondering what happened to the rest of her eggs," said James.

Tom got a horrible feeling and saw that her gaze was falling upon the boulder-eating dragons they had just relocated.

"No, no, no, no, no! We took her eggs!" Tom yelled. "Leave them alone!"

Sadly, she didn't appear to be listening and rolled into a ball and headed straight towards the edge of the nest with Tom standing right in front of her. He would have been flattened if Thunder hadn't flown in and grabbed him at the last moment. She rolled off the nest and headed straight down towards the island below using the rocky pathways.

The boulder-eating dragons allowed her to pass, but once she was on the other side of the island, she uncurled herself and roared at them angrily.

Tom managed to climb himself onto Thunder's back and looked down. "That dragon is furious. And they will be safe here unless we can figure out a way to fix it."

"I'm not sure we can; she is just a mother angry that someone took her eggs," said James.

"We need, D'Angelo," said Jun. "He would know what to do."

"Leave it to me," said Alex and flew off.

"Do you think we can hold her off until they get back?" Jun asked, looking at Tom and James.

They then heard the quake dragon roar again.

"I don't think we have much of a choice," said Tom.

"Then we better move and fast," said James.

The quake dragon rolled back into a ball, rolled down the path towards the boulder-eating dragons, and landed on the island.

D'Angelo was still in his bedroom, wide awake, with a pillow over his face. Suddenly, he heard banging on the front door and answered it to find Alex standing in her fire suit.

"We need your help," she said. "We got the pack of dragons back to the Fire Realm. But that rolling earthquake of a dragon is incomplete rage mode, and she's attacking them! We can't stop without you."

D'Angelo then opened the door a little further to reveal that his father had heard everything, and he looked at Alex's fire suit.

"Uh…" said Alex, not sure what to say.

"Role-playing game, Pop. We go deep," D'Angelo explained.

"Nerd stuff. Got it," he nodded and went to the kitchen.

D'Angelo then looked back at Alex. "What makes you think I can do anything to help?"

"D'Angelo, you know more about dragon behaviour than anyone, except maybe Tom, cos he's got that whole dragon whisperer been going," said Alex. "But still, you're the best chance we've got to fix this. It's like James said: one accident doesn't mean you quit. In means you learn."

D'Angelo smiled at her.

Moments later, the two of them returned to the Lair, where Feathers and Plowhorn were waiting.

"Hey, girl," he said, approaching Plowhorn. "I should've listened to you when you tried to warn me." Plowhorn gave his small growl, turning her face away from him. "And when I tried to quit."

Plowhorn then turned to face him and nuzzled him, and he hugged her.

"Thanks for understanding," he said.

"Aw, all the feels!" said Alex, then tossed D'Angelo his helmet. "Now, let's go."

It only took D'Angelo a minute to suit himself back up, and then he quickly mounted Plowhorn.

"And if you could hurry up and figure out a way to stop that boulder dragon from attacking the ones who ate her eggs, that would be great," said Alex.

D'Angelo's eyes lit up. "Wait a minute. I got an idea. Come on, girl."

Plowhorn then galloped away.

"And you're welcome for pulling you out of your existential crisis," said Alex and then followed him.

The quake dragon had uncurled herself and roared at the boulder dragons so loud that they were frightened off.

"Wu, Wei, lay down some fog!" Jun yelled.

Wu and Wei combine their breath attacks to create a thick mist that hid everyone from view. This meant that the quake dragon could no longer see the other dragons, but Tom and James were completely blind.

"Jun?" Tom whispered as he slowly backed away. "Hello?"

"If you're close by, give us a sign," said James.

The two backed away until something pressed against their back, making them jump. They quickly looked around and saw that it was Wu and Wei who were laughing with Jun.

"Don't do that," said James, placing a hand on his heart.

"Sorry," she said.

"Nice cover," said Tom. "This should buy us some time."

They then heard the quake dragon's roar, which put them on edge.

"Stay low," said Jun.

She saw something flying through the mist and quickly ducked down as one of the boulder-eating dragons flew overhead. Then they saw something large within the mist and knew instantly that it was the quake dragon, who then began flying upwards.

"I have a bad feeling about this," said James.

"Tom, this is not good," said Jun.

They then saw a large shadow covering them and looked up to see the quake dragon falling towards them like a wrecking ball.

"Look out!" Tom yelled.

They quickly took off seconds before the quake dragon hit the ground. She hit the ground so hard that she created a shockwave that dispelled the mist, revealing the boulder-eating dragons. She then immediately glared down and roared at them loudly.

Tom looked at Jun. "Can you put down another layer of mist?"

"Got any more in you, Wu?" Jun asked, looking down at him. Wu tried to breathe out some ice, but he could only conjure a small gust of ice. "Uh, this place is too dry! Stupid Fire Realm!"

"We've got to do what we can," said Tom. "Let's see if we can draw her attention."

He flew down towards the quake dragon, chasing the boulder-eating dragons.

"Make right," he ordered Thunder.

Thunder suddenly turned left, passing the dragon's right side and getting her attention.

"Your other right. But that got her attention," said Tom.

He then looked ahead and suddenly saw the bludgeon-like tail belonging to the dragon coming straight at them. Thunder was able to fly under the tail but lost control and then collided with Jun, and then they clashed with James. The three of them and their dragons then hit the ground hard.

"I could've gone better," James groaned.

The quake dragon was approaching the scared-looking boulder, eating dragons and roaring them furiously.

"Next patient, please!" said a voice.

Everyone saw D'Angelo flying towards them on Plowhorn, holding several crystals with Alex close behind.

"The doc is back in, ladies and gentlemen!" D'Angelo announced.

"Alex and D! Yes!" Tom beamed.

"And not before time," said James.

They flew over the quake dragon, who began to chase after them, and the others soon joined them.

"Cove me," said D'Angelo.

They nodded and flew towards the quake dragon, flying around to keep her confused.

D'Angelo then flew over the boulder-eating dragons and held out the crystals. "Take one of these and call me in the morning."

He then tossed the crystals down at the dragons, who began eating the crystals. Of course, the moment they did, they immediately threw up, barfing out the eggs in the process.

"All right, everybody, get those eggs to Mama!" said D'Angelo.

The rise immediately flew down, grabbing the eggs before the boulder-eating dragons could eat them again.

"Good work, Doctor D!" said Tom and winced when he looked at the regurgitated egg.

"Oh, man! So sulphury!" said Alex, looking at her.

"Never thought I would ever grab the regurgitated egg," said James, wincing.

Wu and Wei looked reluctant to take the eggs.

"I'm sorry, you two," said Jun. "It's for good cause."

They eventually grabbed all the eggs and placed them back in the nest.

"I think that's all of them," said Tom.

"One more," said D'Angelo as he placed the last egg pile. "Just like new. No harm, no foul. Right?"

Then suddenly, there was a massive fight as the quake dragon landed in the next, and she still looked too happy as she roared at them.

"I don't get it," said D'Angelo confused. "Why she is still mad at us?" Plowhorn then nudged him. "What is it?"

Plowhorn nudged him again and pointed to the edge of the nest, where they saw the boulder-eating dragons looking at the eggs and licking their lips.

"Oh, she's not roaring at us," said D'Angelo, understanding what was happening. "That's a relief. Thanks, girl."

She then roared at the boulder-eating dragons once more, and this time, they got the message and flew off.

"Sorry, the restaurant's closed," said Tom. "Go find somewhere else to eat."

"Preferably not a dragon's nest!" James added.

"What do y'all say we leave Mama Dragon alone with her babies?" D'Angelo suggested.

No one disagreed, and soon, they left the quake dragon with her babies and the boulder-eating dragons to their buffet of volcanic rock.

"Good job, doc," said Jun, looking at Eugene.

"You really saved the day," said James.

"How'd you know that would work?" Tom asked.

"Well, reptiles take a long time to digest, so I figured whatever they ate today was still in there," D'Angelo theorised. "Those crystals made them split up, so I two and two together."

"See, you know your stuff," said Tom.

"Thanks. But I couldn't have done it without my team," he said, gesturing to all of them, and Plowhorn then growled. "Or without you, Nurse Plowhorn!"

They then started to make their way out of the Fire Realm.
