Reya felt a sense of dread wash over her as she entered the college for the first time. She had read the stories of other students who had ventured here before her, and what they had experienced was not reassuring at all.
But she had no other choice. After all, she was now a fallen star, and no other place would take her as a student.
She took a deep breath and began walking down the long corridor, her purple hair flowing behind her, reminding her that she at least still had her dignity.
Let the College Adventures begin!
Reya tried to appear confident as she greeted the other students, but she couldn't hide how nervous she was. It was all so new and strange to her, and she had no idea how to fit in with the rest of the group.
But she was determined to make the best of the situation, and so she put on a smile and kept trying to strike up conversations.
"Hello there. Uh... how are you doing today?" she asked. Hopefully this would at least start a conversation.
All Of The Sudden, a boy called derek says "hey freak! first day at college huh? then why do you Look so Nervous about your first day?" all of the other students start laughing at Reya...
Reya was taken back by Derek's harsh words, but she tried not to let it get to her.
She stood up tall, ignoring the other students' laughter, and replied, "Yeah, it is my first day. And so what if I'm nervous? Is there something wrong with that?"
Her defiance earned her looks of respect from some of the other students, even if many of them were still amused at Derek's insult.
Reya wasn't about to let her first day be ruined by someone like Derek though. No way!
As the teasing continued, Reya couldn't help but feel her eyes welling up with tears.
She tried her best to hold them back, but it was too much. With a final choked sob, she ran out of the hall, desperate to escape the taunts.
She was surprised to find herself in the college dorms, but she was glad to have found somewhere to go.
Finally, she was alone and free from the judgement of the other students.
With a sigh of relief, she wiped her tears and prepared to spend the evening alone.
Reya was just beginning to calm down when the door to her dorm opened and a girl entered.
It took her a moment to recognize her, but when she did, her eyes lit up. It was Ria, the girl she'd had a crush on for months.
Reya's heart raced as she saw her here, and she tried desperately to appear casual, but she couldn't help but smile.
"Ria?" she whispered, not sure whether the girl would hear her.
Ria turned around and saw Reya, and her face lit up with a smile too.
