Authors Note: WELCOME! As you can probably tell, this is the first chapter of my new crossover series. I've had this idea in my head for awhile, and now I finally have the time to actually get to writing it. Of course, it won't be perfect. I write for fun, and to get better in general. So don't expect absolute perfection, because you will be disappointed.

The first thing Sakura feels is dull, throbbing pain in her temple.

Next is the voices, occasional words and phrases being thrown around her. But it's hard to pinpoint who is talking, and where.

"Fell from... large-"

"...that fall- should... killed her."

"Oyaji.."

"Quickly! Tie... to the- mast!"

Sakura can feel fingers on her arms, no doubt hauling her up. Her body feels lifeless as it is dragged and dropped against something hard. Focusing on the texture, she can only assume it was a type of wooden structure - circular and large enough for her back to lay against it comfortably.

The voices seem to disperse after some time. And for a moment, Sakura believes she has been left alone.

But that thought is quickly thrown from her mind as the ground beneath her shakes. The creaking of wood, and the occasional tap of a staff- or the end of a walking stick perhaps? A large one at that, Sakura thinks to herself.

Her surroundings once again grow silent. And Sakura takes the time to focus her mind on opening her eyes. Tired of being left out of the loop. Wondering where she was, and who exactly surrounded her.

"Oyaji her eyelids moved!"

A voice coarsed annoyingly through her mind, and if Sakura were awake- she would have sighed and punched whoever interrupted her focus.

"Seastone cuffs, to be safe- Marco."

A gruff, bigger voice commanded. And Sakura was momentarily shushed. A shiver running up and down her spine. It reminded her oddly of Tsunade, demanding respect yet still holding a hint of fondness.

Lost in her over-anaylyze, Sakura was brought back to reality as something cold clicked around her wrist. Her chakra hissed in her veins violently, attacking the coldness like it were some time of virus. Which was odd, and she was quiet for a moment. Stunned her chakra was attacking the way it was.

Her mind raced with possibilities. Was it a type of anti-chakra surpressent? Or foreign chakra her body didn't like? If only Tsunade were here to answer her questions, Sakura thought to herself sadly.

Sakura sat there in her mind for a second, before the feeling of her body regaining its strengh registered. The more she focused, the more she could feel.

"Hey Oyaji! Her fingers twitched."

She heard above her, following by a set of fluttering footsteps.

"Thank you, son."

The commanding man's voice echoed, but it sounded much more softer. Like how Tsunade would address Sakura whenever she accomplished something in the medical field... it made her heart flutter fondly.

"I want the commanders present on the deck. Everyone else, I ask you desert and go back to your assigned duties."

The man from before continued. And Sakura would have tilted her head if she could. Deck? Was this some type of ship? That must be the right conclusion, it did smell oddly of wind and fresh sea water.

"Yes Oyaji!"

Multi voices replies instantaneously.

Sakura waited patiently, until she felt ready and forced her eyes to flutter open. Sunlight quickly assaulted her vision, and she flinched back on instinct. Her arms jerked up, only to be stopped by rope and the jingle of metal cuffs.

A shadow was quick to step between her and the bearing sun, a sigh of relief escaping her mouth at the notion.

With her vision restored and head cleared, Sakura glanced around to the people standing before her. It took much will power not to have her mouth drop open in shock.

They were huge! Almost everyone, but most of all- the large man with a white mustache.

He was definitely the most noticeable, followed by a few others that piqued Sakura's intrest. Clearing her throat, Sakura tried to form a question, but the mere appearances of these men threw her in a loop.

"Your name, miss?" The large mustache-wearing man asked, peering down at Sakura.

She blinked, confused. "You kidnapped me... but don't know who I am?" Sakura questioned back, tilting her head to the side.

Her words seem to cause a tad bit of tension between everyone standing around her. The old man, Oyaji, as these others addressed him- laughed. It shook Sakura down to her core, blinking in surprise.

"Kidnapped you? Now where would you get that idea?" The man, Oyaji, replied after calming himself down.

Sakura balked, leaning back against the wooden structure she was tied to. Motioning down to the ropes with her eyes, then back up- she shrugged.

"I mean, I'm tied up. My hands are restricted as well with these odd cuffs. What am I to expect?"

"You landed on our ship. Broke our deck-" Another man spoke up, his blue eyes piercing into Sakura's own.

She eyed the new one up and down. He stood beside a older man proudly, chin lifted up in confidence. His hair was blond, sitting on top of his head. He reminded Sakura of a pineapple. Shifting her eyes past him, she indeed saw a large crater of broken wood behind him.

"I don't recall that...despite your words seeming true." Sakura mumble, more to herself than anything.

Turning her head around, she peered past the others. She took in what looked to be a large boat. A ship, from her mothers stories. Ocean surrounded the ship, and Sakura could not see land.

"Where are we exactly?" Sakura croaked out, her eyebrows furrowed.

"The Grandline. But we have a course set out to the South Blue." White Mustache answered. A few others nodded in agreement around him.

Sighing internally, she noted nothing of the sorts ever being on any map she's seen. Nor in any books. Sakura would know, she was a nerd when it came to reading.

"Well, before I.. try to explain- how about introductions? I'm Sakura Haruno." Sakura managed to get out, smiling.

The older man laughed, seemingly unfazed compared to everyone else.

"Edward Newgate, but I am called many things. Whitebeard and Oyaji as well." The older man, now known as Edward- said.

Sakura bit the inside of her check, but continues to keep the smile on her lips. Despite the confused and frown threatening to take over. Drifting towards the others, she raised a brow.

"Marco the Phoenix. First Division Commander and Oyaji's first mate." The pineapple dude says after a second of awkward silence.

Sakura sucks in a breath, peeking back up at Edward. First mate to him? She thought to herself as everything clicked together slowly. Pirates perhaps? But those were stories, not many people tried the life of piracy. Sticking to being a shinobi or kunoichi instead.

The third to speak, was a darker man. Taller, bigger. He wore big- padded armor, and it looked like his lips were in a constant scowl.

"Jozu, Third Division Commander." The large man spoke, his voice much quieter than Sakura had expected. Her face must have given away her thoughts, because the man beside Jozu chuckled.

"He doesn't talk much, especially to newcomers. The name's Thatch, Fourth Division Commander and head chef." Thatch explained, his smile wide. It reminded Sakura of Naruto, she thought solemnly.

"Yeah.." Sakura trailed off, shifting around on the ground uncomfortably. Wary, despite their happy attitudes.

"I'm Vista, Fourth Division Commander." The forth man spoke, Vista. Sakura's eyes were drawn to his two swords- which looked like a mixture between two she saw Sasuke use.

Then again, I'm not too well versed with the knowledge of Kenjutsu. Sakura thought with a huff.

The next few commanders who introduced themselves seemed to go on forever. And only a few seemed to really catch Sakura's attention.

Namur, who was the Eighth Division Commander. He reminded her of Kisame. But a smaller version, and much more approachable. But he seemed skiddish, on edge when he introduced himself. But Sakura didn't have much time to think about it, before the next person began talking.

Haruta, the Twelfth Division Commander. He was much younger than everyone, if his appearance was anything to go by. More energetic as well, it reminded Sakura of Naruto. Which is why she couldn't stop smiling at the kid, despite how creepy she probably looked.

And lastly, a beautiful man called Izou. The sixthteenth Division Commander. His makeup would have put Ino's to shame, she could already hear the blond complaining in her mind.

"Well... since we know each other now- mind untying me?" Sakura suggested, hopeful.

Before any of the commanders could request, Edward cleared his throat and motioned for Marco to undo the ropes and cuffs. Nobody complained, despite the uncomfortable looks they exchanged. Sakura was a tad surprised by the groups loyalty.

With the ropes and metal cuffs gone, Sakura allowed her shoulders to sag in relief. Bringing her wrist forward and rubbing the sore skin. The commanders took a few steps back, giving her some space as she used to wooden mast to stand.

Her joints popped, and her muscles protested against the movement. So with a small ounce of chakra, Sakura managed to ease the discomfort slightly. But she knew it wouldn't go away unless she got some rest and nutrients.

"Now, before we move on to some more... important matters, let us gather in the meeting room." Edward suggested, turning around and walking away.

Sakura watched him, his footsteps echoing around the ship. Despite being on her feet, he only seemed bigger than before. Was it even possible for a human to grow that size? Jiraiya was pretty big, yet he would no doubt be dwarfed next to Edward! She thought to herself.

Even the other commanders were big. Definitely taller than Sakura. Which made her feel a tad insecure, the more she thought on it.

Thatch came beside her, nudging her in an almost familiar manner. "I know Oyaji can be shocking, but let's not lag behind." Thatch murmured, loud enough for her to pick up on.

Nodding apologetically, she and Thatch both moved forward to catch up with the group. The more she thought on it, the more things made since. But first, Sakura just needs it to be confirmed by Edward and the commander themselves before she can outright say it. Lest they think she's crazy...

The room they crowd into is... big. Huge. Gigantic.

But Sakura settles down in an empty seat beside Marco. The number two stitched into the chair. But those questions can be asked later, if- she doesn't get thrown overboard.

"Now, Sakura." Edward begin, clearing his throat.

Sakura winces at the volume of his voice, still unused to hearing such a large man speak.

"We'd like to know why, or how you managed to land on our deck."

"Straight to the point.." Sakura murmurs, before sitting up straight and clearing her emotions of any anxiety or nerves. Like Tsunade had taught her.

"Before I answer that question, I must ask- have you heard of Konohagakure? Perhaps Suna, or Ame. One of the nations?" Sakura asked, ignoring Edward's question despite how rude it would appear.

The men in the room breathe in a confused breath, staring at Sakura before leaning back in their chairs. Edward hums, but seems just as confused- perhaps a tad intrigued.

"I have not. Are these kingdoms? Villages perhaps?" Edward answers, leaning forward and resting his hands on the wooden table in the middle of everyone.

Sakura eventually slouches, shaking her head. Pushing herself up from her chair, she stands and looks at everyone occupied in the room.

"I think I understand everything now." She begins.

Thatch speaks up next.

"What do you mean?" He asks. Sakura's eyes drift towards the cook, and back towards Edward.

"My name is Sakura Haruno. I'm a kunoichi of Konohagakure. The village hidden in the leaf. I mentored under Tsunade Senju, learning medical ninjutsu. My teammates are Naruto Uzumaki, and Sasuke Uchiha." Sakura starts, sighing softly.

"In my... world- there are nations. The fire, earth, water... I'm sure you get the gist. There are Hokages, Shinobi, Rogue Shinobi, and Civilians." She continues, growing in confidence despite the rising tension in the room. All eyes are on her now.

"I assume you are pirates." She asks, looking Edward in the eyes. He nods.

"As expected. You see, pirates are nobodies in my world. Fisherman turned rogue, stories long forgotten." Her words earn a few hushed murmurs, disbelief written on their faces.

"I fought in a war, four years ago. The Fourth Great Ninja War. Me and my teammates went up against a goddess named Kaguya. Who had the power to go between Dimensions... worlds." Sakura pauses, leaning forward and placing her hands onto the table.

"I'm sure you all can piece everything together now?" She asked, hopeful her explanation made sense

At her question, the room erupts in whispers. Everything talking amongst one another. Edward stayed seemingly quiet, watching Sakura.

"Different worlds you say?" Edward murmurs, but his voice still carry's around the room and everyone grows quiet.

"Yes. I know it isn't that believable. But I would never lie about this, I'll swear it on my oath as a doctor." Sakura swears, taking a step back. Her gaze serious and focused.

"For now, I ask you keep this a secret. You may use the Second Division Commander corridors for the mean time, while you learn about our world. Is that up for an agreement?" Edward offers after some time.

Sakura breaks out in a relieved grin. "Absolutely."

Edward smiles, as does some of the other commanders. Everyone stands, and Edward motions to Marco.

"Marco, show her to her room for the time being. Feel free to answer any questions she has." Edward addresses to Marco.

Sakura turns her gaze to the blond haired man, who nods at his captain. Their eyes meet, and Marco beckons her forward.

"Follow me."
