Pokéculous: Season 1: Episode 1: Fèlix

Pewter City, Kanto. 1st February 2020. 3:47pm.

"I see them!" May exclaimed happily. Drew smirked from behind her. "Race you!" he laughed as he zipped past her, leaving behind a yelling May. Drew stopped shortly to catch his breath as he reached their friend, Brock's backyard where they could see all their other friends. May reached him as she bent over panting. "We're here…" she sighed as she slid down to the ground dramatically. Drew rolled his eyes.

"Hey you guys!" Someone exclaimed from behind them, causing them both to jump. They both sighed in relief as they saw who it was. "Misty!" Drew exclaimed in greeting. May waved. Misty grinned. "What took you so long?" she asked.

Drew glared slightly at May. "She took SO long getting ready, because she had to look her best, because," he cleared his throat as he recited in a squeaky voice. "'This is the first get together we've had! All my friends are going to be there, so I've gotta look my best! You should too, you know." he recited, over exaggerating every movement. Misty cracked up laughing as May pouted.

"I do not talk like that," she huffed.

"Yeah you do," Gary came up from behind her. May brightened up instantly. "Gary!" she jumped to hug him as Drew glared at the ground. Misty smiled in amusement.

"What? He gets a hug and I don't? I'm hurt May, I really am," Leaf staggered up to May, pretending to be shot in the heart. May giggled. "Noooo, how could I forget my dear, dear Leafy?" she grinned as they embraced each other tightly.

"Hey did you guys forget me or something?" Dawn gasped as she joined May and Leaf in the hug. Misty shook her head before going up to join them as the guys finished their 'man-hugs'.

Leaf pulled back. "So, what's-" she staggered back slightly, clutching her head. Gary ran up to her, holding her hand. "Hey, you okay?" he asked. Leaf clutched his shoulder tightly. "Yeah, just-just fine." she gasped as she passed out, everyone holding her as she fell.

"Hello?" Leaf called, walking around the strange space. This place sure was industrial. "Find me…" A voice whispered. Leaf whipped around. "Who?" she asked as she saw lots of people around the area. "Find me…" Someone called again.

Leaf turned around again, this time facing a blue haired girl clad in a red leather jumpsuit with black spots and a mask. The girl's blue eyes were wide. "Find me…" she whispered, before she disappeared.

Leaf looked around for the girl once more as the scenery changed. Now, she was in the mountains. "Mount Silver. Portal. Key. Destroy." she heard another voice say. "Mount Silver? And-and what portal? A key? I don't understand!" she exclaimed, frustrated. "Key. Girl." Leaf thought about it.

"Are you trying to tell me, that my friends and I need to go to Mount Silver to find this…this portal, to that world you showed me earlier, and that…we have to find that girl you showed me, and we have to…find a key in that world and destroy it?" Leaf suggested, taking a wild guess. "Yes." The voice said. Leaf nodded. "Okay. But-uh how do we get back home?" she asked, slightly unnerved. "Portal. Open. Key. Destroy." the voice said as Leaf tried to make sense of it. Then, it clicked.

"Okay, so let me summarize. You're telling me, that my friends and I have to go to Mount Silver in order to find this portal that will take us to this world with these huge buildings and we have to find this girl that you showed me who will help us find this key that we need to destroy for some apparent reason which will show us another portal back home." she summarized all in one breath. The voice was impressed. "Good." was all it said before she was sent back to her world.

Leaf opened her eyes, slightly thrilled to find herself in Gary's lap, though she would never admit it. "Guys! Come here! NOW!"

The group rushed to her immediately as she started telling them what had happened. Brock leaned back. "Wow…" he murmured, running a hand through his hair. Then, he stepped back. "But I can't go." he muttered. Ash faced him sadly. "What? Why?" Brock sighed. "I have to take care of my family, Ash. And Lucy." he spoke. Ash sighed and nodded. "Oh. Okay then." he turned away.

Brock went back inside as a tribute to what he'd explained to Ash earlier. Leaf turned to the others. "What about you guys?" she asked them hesitantly. May, Dawn, and Misty raised their hands immediately. Gary and Drew went next, followed by Paul and Ash. Leaf smiled. "Thanks guys." she thanked them gratefully. They nodded.

"So, Mount Silver?" Ash asked. Leaf nodded. "Mount Silver."

Silver Town, Kanto. 12th February, 2020. 7:09pm.

Dawn sat down on a log, tired of walking. "Guys, can we please just find the portal tomorrow? I'm soooo tired, plus, it's already dark!" she whined. Paul grunted in agreement.

Drew looked at his watch. "Guys, it's only 7:10! Come on! At least another two hours!" he urged. Misty sighed as she watched Dawn sulk. "How about we take a fifteen minute break?"

"I'm going to fill up my water!" May called as she ran to a nearby lake. Gary ran after her. "I'm going too!" he yelled.

Dawn, Leaf, and Paul were resting against a tree; Dawn was leaning against the trunk, panting and drinking water, Leaf had her laptop open to her GPS, looking for the best way to get to the mountains in under an hour, and Paul was cleaning his pokéballs.

Ash and Drew were stretching and training their pokémon, stopping immediately as they saw Gary and May run back with wide eyes. "Guys! We-we saw-" they were cut off by an airy voice. "Help me…" It croaked. Drew was about to run, but May stopped him, shaking her head as she held onto his arm fearfully. "Don't! It's a trap!" she warned. Slowly, the voice grew more and more aggressive. "HELP. ME." It finally said, before releasing an ear piercing cry.

A group of Voibees (made up.) approached the cowering group. The Queen Bee suddenly appeared in front. "Attack!" she commanded as all the bug pokémon started using poison sting. Misty screamed and ran towards Mount Silver. "Bugs really bug me!" she squealed. May and Drew held onto each other as they ran right behind Misty, followed by the others.

As they ran up the mountain in fright, the Voibees gave up eventually. The gang though, didn't notice as they were too busy running from the nonexistent Voibees.

"They're gone now," a voice whispered in Leaf's ear. Leaf jumped before she held onto Gary and fainted in his arms.

"Who are you?" Leaf asked. The voice didn't reply. Instead, the blank scenery around Leaf started to change. Soon, she could see snowy peaks. She was at the top of Mount Silver! Her eyes soon started to follow a strange light coming from a large cave. She walked inside involuntarily. Inside, she saw a huge swirl of blues and blacks. Leaf glanced upward. "Is this the portal?" she asked. "Yes." The voice said, before she was transported back to the real world.

Leaf opened her eyes. "Gah!" she screamed, backing away from Gary, seeing as his face was so close to hers. May walked up. "What happened this time?" Leaf shook her head, leading the up the mountain. "Just follow me." she said.

Soon, they reached the peak. Drew panted. "Can we-stay- the night?" he panted, wiping the sweat dripping down his forehead with the back of his palm. "Yeah." Leaf agreed, pulling out her sleeping bag.

In the morning, the group trailed behind Leaf, who was leading the way to a large cave that sparkled with an unusual light. Ash looked around in wonder. "Wow…" he murmured. Leaf stopped walking suddenly and groaned as she clutched her head with her hand, staggering backwards. Gary and Drew immediately came to her side. Suddenly she jolted with life.

"There!" she pointed towards a wall and started walking towards it. Gary followed her. "Leaf! What're you doing? You can't go through-" She walked right through. Gary's jaw slacked. "The wall," he finished, slightly unnerved as the others stared.

Misty shook her head amusedly. "Come on people, let's go!"

Slowly, they all went through the cave wall hesitantly. As soon as he stepped through, Drew turned his head and stared, just like his friends. In front of them was a huge tower, made out of copper and other metals, standing at over a hundred metres. Around the tower were nicely watered gardens and pathways made for pedestrians. Leaf snapped out of her daze. "Come on guys! Let's go!" she urged. They made their way around town, taking in the place.

As they were walking, they heard a loud ring coming from behind. They turned to look at the source. Suddenly, students filed out of a cream coloured building.

One of them though, caught Leaf's attention. A blue haired girl made her way down the stairs, followed by a brown haired girl with red highlights and glasses. She looks familiar, Leaf thought as she dodged the students to make her way to the bluenette in pigtails. Her friends followed.

"Excuse me," Leaf said, tapping the blue haired girl on the shoulder. The girl turned around as she broke into a smile. "Hi there, I'm Marinette. Can I help you?" she asked politely. Leaf nodded. "Yeah, um. I have a couple of questions. One, don't find this weird, but where are we?"

Marinette gave her a strange look, but answered anyways. "We're in Paris, the fashion capital of the world!" she spun around. Leaf smiled. She liked this girl. "Thanks. Number two, my friends and I don't exactly have a place to live, nor do we have the money. I don't really know what to…" Leaf trailed off. Marinette pondered over the unspoken request before nodding. "I'm sure we can do something. How many people?" "Eight." "Eight?!" Marinette recoiled before nodding. "Okay, sure. Anything else?" Leaf nodded again. "Yeah. Uh, do I know you?" she asked, tilting her head to get a better look at the girl. Marinette shook her head. "I don't think so." she said.

"Oh ok," Leaf said. Marinette's eyes lit up. "Hey, are you guys hungry?" she asked. Soon, the gang and Marinette were heading to the bluenette's father's bakery, which Marinette had said was the best bakery in Paris. Of course, May and Ash hearing the term food, just had to go, so here we are. Anyways, they soon reached the bakery, and were blown away at the sight of it.

As Marinette led them inside, they looked around in awe. The shelves were loaded with baked goods, natural light shining through the window. The Parisian went behind the counter as they approached. "So, what can I get you today?" she smiled.

After a delicious lunch of butter croissants and chocolate macarons, the group headed out to where Marinette's band was practicing. There, she introduced them to Luka; the guitarist, Rose; the songwriter and vocalist, Juleka; Luka's sister and a guitarist, Ivan; the drummer, and his girlfriend Mylène. They also met Marinette's best friend Alya, and her boyfriend Nino, along with Marinette' frenemy Chloè and another one of Marinette's friends, Kim and Max who had his own robot, Markov. Everyone talked for a while before Nino remembered something. He called everyone over.

"I almost forgot! Today is the day Adrien's mother passed!" He exclaimed. May turned to Alya. "Who's Adrien?" she asked. Alya looked at her. "You see those posters around town of that blond boy?" she said, pointing at the billboards. May nodded. "Yeah girl, that's him." Misty's eyes widened. "Back up a little. YOU KNOW A FUCKING MODEL?!" she exclaimed. Alya nodded proudly. "Yup. He also happens to go to our school. Plus, him and Marinette make such a cute couple, don't you think?" she winked as Marinette turned red. "Alya!" Alya ignored her as she turned to everyone else. "We should make a video and send it to him to show how much we care!" She suggested. Everyone agreed while the Pokégang decided to stay aside.

Soon everyone was done their video. Alya pressed send on her phone and hummed excitedly as she waited for a reply. Soon enough, they got one. Everyone gathered around to see. The response they got though, was not one they were expecting.

"First of all, thank you guys so much for the messages, really. Especially on today of all days… To remind me how sad I'm supposed to be! Why, that's great! Really! Thanks a lot!" Kim scratched his head. "So does he like it, or…?" Marinette looked at the phone, concerned. "There's something wrong…" she spoke to herself, as the pokégang pulled faces of disgust. Drew, now filled with rage for his new friends turned to Rose. "This is your friend?" Rose's eyes widened as she gasped silently, before looking back at the video.

"My father was right! What could I possibly get out of going to school? Hanging out with you people is a total waste of time!" Chloè snickered. "Of course I knew my Adrikens couldn't possibly be friends with you fools!" she laughed. "And Chloè, you're still the same spoiled brat you ever were, you know that?" Chloè gasped. "How dare he?!" she shrieked.

Marinette shook her head. "Impossible. That's not him! There's no way that's Adrien!" she ran out of the room. "Marinette!" May and Dawn called after her. Nino folded his arms. "No way that's him! It must be a fake!" he muttered. Markov transferred the video footage to his system and scanned it. Then, he frowned. "This footage hasn't been altered in any way." he said. Everyone looked at Max. He sighed. "Confirmed."

Gary pulled at his hair. "What kind of friend is he?" he exclaimed crossly. Kim sighed. "Truth is, we've only known him since we came back after summer," he said sadly.

Juleka and Rose looked at the tablet Alya was holding. Marinette came back in the room, heartbroken. Rose and Juleka grabbed onto the tablet, just as a purple butterfly came into view. Misty looked confused. "What's that?" she asked as the strange creature merged into the tablet. Marinette gasped and ran off as Alya, Juleka, and Rose looked up scornfully.

The Pokégang creeped back slowly as they saw their new friends transform. "He is going to regret what he said to us!"

Alya gained a black mask along with a black jumpsuit with a white wi-fi logo, along with her phone, which had turned entirely black. Rose's skin turned green, and her hair pink, as she wore a black jumpsuit with puffed out shorts. Juleka was now all pink, with a skirt and top to accompany her look.

"Come on Alya, you're seriously not gonna attack our buddy, are you?" Nino protested. Alya looked at him, bored. "I'm not Alya, I'm Lady Wifi. Anyone who tries to stop us shall be punished!" she spoke robotically, as she swiped her phone that let out a pause button that literally paused Nino.

Suddenly, a girl dressed in a red leather jumpsuit with black polka dots and a matching mask came out, holding a yoyo. She whipped her yoyo around in circles. "You're not going anywhere, wifi! It's time to log you out!" Lady Wifi smirked.

"Not now, that I've got satellite connection," she taunted as she shot an icon at the girl in red. She dodged. Meanwhile, Rose sprayed some perfume from her hair and to the ground. The girl in red turned to the Pokégang. "Cover your noses," she urged as the spray got to them. They all covered their noses, though Max and Kim accidentally breathed in the fumes. They bowed suddenly. "At your service Princess Fragrance," they sang. Princess Fragrance smirked. "Get Ladybug!" she exclaimed, pointing at the girl in red. "Yahhh!" they yelled, trying to get Ladybug to their 'mistress'. Ladybug though, tripped Max and caught Kim by twisting his hand behind his back.

Juleka looked over. "Call you later," she said as she and the other two teleported through Alya's phone. May shivered. "Is…Is this normal?" she quivered. Ladybug shook her head. "Sorry you had to deal with that. Stay safe, I have to go now." she leapt off.

The gang ran after her. "Is there anything we can do to help?" Ash asked. Ladybug turned around. "Sorry. It's best for you to stay out of harm's way. Gotta go now." She said, leaping onto a building. "Oh." Ash said disappointed, before they all hid on a rooftop near a huge hotel.

About ten minutes later, they saw Ladybug carrying a blonde boy who they recognized as Adrien onto the rooftop of the large hotel. Since they were so close, they could hear every word of their conversation. Ladybug rested Adrien alongside the wall.

"You'll be safe here," she said. Adrien grabbed her hand. "Ladybug! Wait! I…I've always been in love with you, you know?" he spoke. Ladybug retracted her hand dazedly. "Huh? I…Really?" she asked, bewildered. Drew and Gary shook their head in disbelief. The nerve!

Adrien approached her creepily. "If only you would…let me give you some courage…before you go…" he said, backing her up against a wall. Ladybug seemed weirded out. "Huh? Wait what? No!" she exclaimed. Adrien wasn't having it though. He leaned in for a kiss, when Ladybug punched him square in the face. "What part of 'no' do you not understand?!" she shrieked defensively. "Gross! You're not Adrien! He'd never be so pushy!" she decided. The Pokégang made a mental note that this sucker wasn't Adrien.

Suddenly, a dude in a black cat costume came up to them. "That's Adrien's cousin, Fèlix! I ran into the real Adrien on the way here, and he told me everything!" he said, pointing at Fèlix. The Pokégang gasped silently. The guy in black crossed his arms and smiled. "You made a lot of enemies today. Bet you don't have a lot of friends, acting the way you do." Fèlix huffed slightly. The boy in black smirked. "Am I wrong?" he asked, to which Fèlix looked down sadly.

Suddenly, the trio heard a noise. Ladybug frowned. "Cut it out! There's no time for bickering, they're coming!" she urged. The Pokégang held their breaths. Ladybug threw up her yoyo. "Lucky Charm!" she called. A can of whipped cream landed in her hand. Juleka landed upon the rooftop. "You really think covering us in a can of whipped cream will save you from being punished, Ladybug?" she scoffed. Leaf inwardly panicked as Lady Wifi and Princess Fragrance showed up next to her.

"Do you wanna smell like fish for the rest of your life, kitty?" Fragrance taunted as she pointed her perfume at him. Lady Wifi turned defensive. "Do anything, and I'll pause you for good!" she threatened. "Kitty" yawned. "You spend way too much time on your phone, you know that?" he asked. Lady Wifi growled as the Pokégang cowered in fear. Suddenly Fèlix kicked the tablet out of Lady Wifi's hand and takes it. Ladybug looks on encouragingly. "Break it Fèlix! Then this nightmare will be all over!" she told him. Fèlix smirked. "Who says I want it to be over?" he asked maliciously.

"Hawk Moth! Can you hear me?! You want Ladybug and Chat Noir's miraculous, right?" he asked as the two turned to stare at him in shock. The Pokégang looked confused. "What's a miraculous?" May whispered. Drew just shook his head. A purple mask lit up in front of Reflekta, Lady Wifi, and Fragrance's faces as Hawk Moth communicated with Fèlix through them. The Pokégang watched the scene fearfully. Ash hid behind Misty, as Dawn, May, and Leaf did the same with Paul, Drew, and Gary respectively.

Lady Wifi jumps down from the railing she was standing on, but tripped on the can of whipped cream Ladybug had laid out, and bumped straight into Reflekta, who accidentally shoots a strange light out of her mirror that transforms Fragrance into looking exactly like her. Fragrance's gun shoots out a mudbomb that Chat Noir hits with his stick as he knocks down Fèlix with the same move. Ladybug catches Fèlix as he is about to fall, the pressure causing Fèlix to drop the tablet, breaking it into a million pieces. A purple butterfly flew out.

The girls transformed back into their original forms, rubbing their heads. Ladybug turned to Fèlix. "Have you learnt your lesson yet?" She asked. Fèlix nodded fearfully. Chat Noir came up beside Ladybug. "Pound it," they fist bumped. Ladybug captured the butterfly in her yoyo and she and Chat Noir leapt off into the shadows, leaving Fèlix behind.

Later that day, the gang got a new video from Adrien, this time addressing how grateful he was for their support and how much he loves them.

"I love you-I love you-I love you-I love you-" Marinette sighed as her new friends watched her amusedly. "I love you too Adrien," she said as she rested her hand on her chin, smiling widely. They all shook their heads, laughing. This was going to be a long journey.
