Kazuma landed on the ground with a loud thump as the men that brought him to this place laughed at Aqua who ran to his side and angrily glared at them.

"What's the matter oh great goddess, don't you like your new home?" one of the men taunted Aqua as she tried to help Kazuma stand up.

She wanted to punish the two men for humiliating her like this, but she knew about this university and how it operated, so she decided to stay quiet and help Kazuma walk deeper into the forest.

They walked past the trees that had human faces on them and made groaning or moaning sounds when they walked past them. They ignored all of the ghosts that tried to steal their souls, only to be exorcised by her godly aura.

It was only when they were sure that no one had followed them or was watching them that Kazuma allowed her to heal him.

Aqua watched as Kazuma gasped for air and forced himself to keep walking as they still had a lot of ground to cover and the sun was starting to go down.

Aqua grabbed Kazuma's arm and helped him walk, it wasn't that she couldn't completely heal Kazuma, but he stopped her from doing so because he claimed that he would need to get used to the pain.

She replayed the events that happened earlier that day after they had accidentally been sent to this world.

They had landed in a coliseum filled with people and monsters who were all cheering for some reason.

"Wo dares interrupt this contest!?" a loud and arrogant voice that sounded as if it belonged to a man asked.

Aqua can still remember seeing the dragon man tower over her and Kazuma.

The creature was more man than dragon but she could sense his blood and energy so she knew what he was even if he didn't resemble it.

"Oh no." she heard Kazumasay to himself with the same fear-filled voice that he used whenever they ran into something that they couldn't fight at the moment.

Kazuma immediately pulled her to the ground and forced her to lower her head and breathe in the sand that covered the ground, before he told the dragon man that they had been caught in a spell and didn't know where they were and how they got here.

Aqua can still remember the creature's red eyes bearing into her and she felt the different divinities of the gods that he had killed and taken their power.

"You have interrupted a special event. I should have you tortured and killed but I won't because I just declared to my people that I wouldn't do that." Shao Kahn said to them before she heard the sounds of footsteps coming closer.

"Stand and fight, prove to me that you are worth keeping alive or die at the hands of these men.

If you survive I'll grant you a wish for each opponent." Shao Kahn said to them.

Aqua could hear the mockery in the man's voice and as she rose her head to see who she and Kazuma had to fight, she felt herself being filled with fear.

All of the men were covered in muscles, looked as if they were well trained, and didn't have a problem hurting goddess.

"Can we ask for our reward before the fight is over?" Kazuma asked Shao Kahn.

'You may, but you won't receive it unless you defeat them." Shao Kahn answered Kazuma.

"Then please don't torture us, experiment on us, kill us, or steal our souls." Kazuma said to Shao Kahn who glared at him before nodding.

'Stay behind me." Kazuma whispered to her before the men charged at them.

Aqua can still see Kazuma using every low-level skill that he knew to either tie up or make his opponents unable to fight him anymore, she can still remember hearing the crowd boo and protest when they saw that Kazuma had won.

She can still see Shao Kahn who had sat down to see the fight stand up walk up to Kazuma and slammed him into the ground with enough force that Aqua was sure that he had killed him.

"Do you hear that boy, the people are not entertained, you should have killed them." Shao Kahn said to Kazuma before he called a woman who was wearing a green stripper outfit.

"People of Outworl this man has defeated not one but five of your men! he protects his woman with his life!"

"Such a man should be rewarded and so I have chosen to grant him a small pic of land as a reward, if he wins then he and his woman will become citizens of Outworld if he dies then so will his woman!"

Aqua can still hear the people in the coliseum cheering when Shao Kahn threw Kazuma at the woman's feet and orders them to fight.

It was only because Kazuma was used to fighting monsters that were stronger than him that he was able to win, but it was because he was hurt that he wasn't able to avoid all of the women's attacks.

Aqua can still remember seeing Kazuma coughing out blood as she tried to heal him or attack the woman who was trying to kill him. Each time that she did that, Kazuma would yell at her to stay out of it.

It had taken everything that Kazuma had for him to win, but when he did Shao Kahn announced that they were being given the Forest of Death or the Living Fores as a reward.

Aqua was forced to leave her memories when she felt the Amulate that she was given by one of the sorcerors begin to move on its own before a beam of light shot itself into the sky.

She couldn't help but smile before she began to heal Kazuma's remaining injuries.

Her light soon began to attract the undead along with the vengeful spirits that called the forest home, but they weren't the only things that gathered around her and Kzuma.

There were other things, twisted abominations that were a mixture between animal- wood- stone- metal and other things that Aqua didn't even know existed.

Aqua watched as Kazuma walked in front of her before he looked back smiled and said.

'Ready?"

"Ready." she said to him with all of her confidence, just as all of the creatures and undead roared and ran towards them.

Aqua gasped for air as she lay on the forest ground she could hear Kazuma laughing next to her, they had won.

Neither of them knew how long they had fought, only that it had been nighttime when they started and they were sure that despite the forest being cursed, the trees around them had green leaves.

"So what are we going to do about them?" Kazuma who was lying next to her laughing asks her before he sits next to her.

Aqua follows Kazuma's example and she can't help but smile brightly as she turns to look at Kazuma, for whatever reason the spirits of the dead did leave the world like they were supposed to.

Those same gohst were now kneeling to her worshiping her as their new goddess, she could feel their worship gathering inside of her strengthening her.

"Obviously as their goddess, I will have to make a home for them to live in until whoever is in charge comes and gets them." proudly says to Kazuma before she orders her new subjects to bring her as many rocks as they can.
