Gerri sits in one of the many bathrooms of Logan Roy's home. She doesn't have to worry about being disturbed here, and the bathrooms are the only rooms that don't have cameras.

She remembers hiding in another bathroom right after the incident. After Logan had stormed out taking Shiv with him, Roman had leaned over with panic in his eyes saying I think I fucked up.

What do you mean?

I, uh, sent Dad a message. It was meant for you.

After her humiliating conversation with Shiv, in which her goddaughter had tried to persuade her to file a complaint against her brother, with the subtext of You're fucked now, Dad won't trust you anymore, you're a dead woman walking, Gerri had held back the tears, calmed herself in the nearest bathroom, so by the time she went to see Logan she was calm and composed.

"Logan, I'm so sorry," she said immediately, before he could start screaming at her. "That must have been distressing, to receive that image."

"Has he sent you anything like that before?" Logan asked, unusually calm.

Gerri had already thought about this question, in case Logan asked to see her phone, or Roman's phone. "Yes. I told him to stop, obviously. I was dealing with it. I think he just got—" Don't say 'excited' — "carried away after the success of the meeting."

"Is there something going on between you two?" Logan demanded outright. Many people assume that she must have slept with Logan at some point, but if she had, she'd be a footnote in his history, like Kerry will be. She knows that Logan respects her professionally, sometimes she thinks he loves her like a sister.

"Of course not," she said. "I've just been trying to mentor him, he's been doing so well lately…"

"He supported you as Interim CEO. Come to think of it, he was against you taking any of the fall for the cruise scandal. Was that just because he wanted to get under your skirt?"

She was prepared to take a little humiliation to get through this. "You'll have to ask him that. I think he knew I was a good choice for Interim CEO. He wasn't ready yet."

"And you weren't banking these dick pics for ammo?" If it wasn't for Roman, Gerri could have lived the rest of her life without hearing her 81-year-old boss say dick pic.

"No. I didn't report them because the company didn't need another scandal after the cruises. I don't think he'll send any more, not after this..."

Logan sighed. "I thought he might be the one, you know? The successor. After Kendall fucked it."

"He still might be. He's a young man, that's all. Don't be too hard on him."

"I don't want you to work closely with him anymore." Logan looked at her. "I need to know where your loyalties lie."

She nodded. "I've always been loyal to you." And I know where the fucking bodies are buried, she added silently.

Logan nodded too. "Fine. I'll deal with Romulus. We'll say no more of this. Go on, fuck off."

That was the last time they had spoken of the incident, until tonight. Gerri had proved her loyalty by siding with Logan against his kids, coldly refusing Roman's plea for help with How does it serve my interests? when he was literally on his knees in front of her. Before the dick pic she could have talked to Logan, tried to persuade him not to sell, not to cut the kids out, but she had no credibility now.

She didn't know how the story of her and Roman had gotten out. Maybe someone had overheard Logan's conversations, or maybe Shiv had spread it around to further destroy Gerri and Roman as rivals for the CEO position, before the siblings had united against their father. She had certainly told Tom, which meant that Greg knew. And Greg would blab to anyone in forensic detail about Gerri's sex life if it meant getting a promotion.

So when Logan looked at her tonight, high on his birthday celebrations and his own power, and said Been sent anything funny lately? everyone there knew what he was referring to. She should have expected it, Logan Roy never forgets anything. And even if he does forget, he never forgives.

Staring at her phone as a distraction, she looks at her sparse messages from Roman over the last few months, ranging from I know I fucked up, I'm sorry to How is your tortoise? (tortoise emoji) to I miss the sound of your voice on the phone. She had nearly choked on receiving that last one while sipping coffee in front of Laurie.

She had only replied once, when Roman asked her Should I message Dad on his birthday? like they were still comrades, like she was still the one he turned to for advice on just about everything. She had replied I think he would like that.

When she returns to the party, the main subject of gossip is Greg getting caught in a bedroom with his date on one of Logan's cameras. But Greg is getting back slaps and appreciate chuckles, including from Logan, while Gerri gets snickers behind her back and speculation about how she worked her way up in the company before dick pics were a thing.

Logan was right: they're all Munsters.
