Yes. I have finally finished rewriting this. I sugget you reread the 6th chapter, because I have changed the ending part of it.

Chapter 8 is still in writing process.

I hope you enjoy this long due chapter.

Some days passed, during which Sakiko avoided Tsuna at home and pretended not to notice his glances towards her. Since he didn't initiate conversation, she let him be. For the spars with Hibari, she let him attack her, yet not hit her, redirecting the attacks to the sides.

One day during homeroom the teacher announced the Athletics festival approaching. Excited chattering erupted through the room that made the teacher call for attention, so that he could continue. The A classes would compete against B classes against C classes. After that he said some more trivial news and reminded that some people should work harder for their grades lowered the class average. Though the only individual he pointed out was Dame-Tsuna, which made Gokudera glare at the teacher, however the teacher did was taken aback by Sakiko narrowing her eyes at him and not Tsuna. The rest of the class was spent gathering ideas on which activities should be included in the festivities, which Sakiko spent reading a history book.

After the class was over, the teacher asked Sakiko to bring the idea form papers to the Reception room for the Disciplinary committee to evaluate them and decide which to approve. It made Sakiko's eye twitch in annoyance at the increased paperwork. As if they didn't have enough of it already.

When the caramelette reached the Reception room, she was met by a small problem. She wouldn't be able to open the door without creasing the papers. Hibari hated paperwork, and creased paperwork even more. She could try and call for someone to open the door, but she didn't know if anyone was in or if Hibari was sleeping there. Also, it wasn't like her to shout about. In the end she decided to lightly tap it with her foot.

"Come in." Kusakabe's voice answered. Now that she knew someone was in, she asked for the door to be opened for her. Seeing the papers, he asked: "What are these?"

"My class' activity suggestions for the Athletics festival. The teacher said to bring them here for our evaluation. Though shouldn't it be the Student council's job?"

"Last year the Student Council approved a maid café side event, so this year we will evaluate the ideas before giving them to the Student Council to vote for the activities." Kusakabe explained.

Sakiko couldn't help but twitch her eyebrow in annoyance at the mention of a 'Maid café'. She did not see how it was let through at an Athletics' festival. Kusakabe let the girl in the room. Hibari was not there at the present moment, so she set the pile on the table between the two couches and sat in one of them, after which she took a sheet of paper and a pen.

"Shouldn't you be going back to class?" Kusakabe asked.

"It's P.E. I don't need it." She simply stated and took the first form for evaluation.

"You should go to it."

"Maybe if I finish this before the class ends. Besides, soon other forms should be brought. The students might not pee their pants, if they see me here, not Hibari-sama or you."

"Why are you calling the President like that?"

"Out of respect."

"You are the only one."

"What about you? Don't you respect him, as well?"

"Well… yes."

"But you fear his wrath." This statement was left unanswered.

"If you stop your fear, if you kill it, he will respect you more and might even allow you to call him by his name." Sakiko decided to say the possibility which had been true in her time. Her Kusakabe called her Hibari 'Kyo-san'. "But that would happen with time."

Kusakabe opened his mouth to say something, but then closed it. Opened it again, but this time closed it because Sakiko started inspecting the forms. The tall teen left the room, leaving the girl to do her self-appointed work.

After about five minutes after the vice-president of the Disciplinary committee left, there was a knock at the door.

"Yes? Come in." The girl in the room bid entrance and raised her head to look at the new-commers. It was a boy and a girl, seniors to Sakiko, who looked surprised to see Sakiko in the room.

"Yes? How may I assist you?" She asked.

"Who are you?" The girl asked, seemingly steeling her nerves not seeing Hibari and apparent committee members. "What are you doing here?"

"If you have the forms, put them on the table and leave me to my work." The caramellette said, ignoring the question.

"Hey, Shimeka asked you a question. Answer her." The boy spoke up. Sakiko raised her pen and tapped against her red armband at the Disciplinary committee. "I'm a member. Now, please do as I asked. I want to finish before dark."

The boy whispered something to Shimeka and she looked surprised and then a smirk formed on her lips.

"So you are the new girl. I hear you call the president 'Hibari-sama'. He must have trained you well in bed." Shimeka said with a leer.

Sakiko didn't reply immediately. She calmly stood up and went to the duo seniors and looked them in the eye. "You should beg for me not to tell Hibari-sama your words. He would love to teach you some manners. However, I will not do that. Instead, I will teach them to you myself." With the last words, her seemingly calm gaze turned into a glare.

Before either of the seniors were able to reply, the boy found himself bending over from pain in his gut and Shimeka found her air supply cut short due to Sakiko grabbing her by the throat. The Vongola heiress pulled Shimeka down to her eye-level and growled at her: "If I see you anywhere near here again, I will tell Hibari-sama about your pure disrespect towards him."

After that, Sakiko let the girl go and snapped at them "Scram."

Both seniors glared at her but left, both nursing their pain with their hands.

A sigh escaped Sakiko's lips as she looked around. Due to the commotion, the duo's papers were scattered across the corridor. Another sigh escaped her lips as she kneeled down and started picking the papers back up.

As Sakiko was about to pick up the last sheet of paper, a strong Sky flame user picked it up before her. She looked up to see Tsuna. Alone, with no guardian flame nearby, not even Reborn on his shoulder.

"Thank you." The girl said, taking the sheet from his offered hand, after which she entered the Reception room, put the stack on the table and turned her attention towards her to-be father. "Come in. No one is here."

She smiled to reassure him, as he hesitantly entered the room. She went back to him and gently placed a hand on his shoulder. "What did you want to talk to me about?"

Tsuna hesitated, but then swallowed, took a deep breath, looked right in Sakiko's eyes, and said with a very slight stutter at the beginning: "I-I'm sorry for Gokudera's words. Please forgive him."

His gut feeling had told him to come alone to find her and ask it, and it seemed that it had worked for her gaze turned from curious yet hesitant to soft.

"Apologizing for your friend's actions." She stated, which made him wince slightly at being called out like that, but she lightly gave his shoulder a squeeze and continued "You are a kind person. That is a good quality. Do not let anyone take this trait away from you. I will accept Gokudera's apology, if he chooses to ask for it."

Hearing this made the boy relax a bit and say: "Thank you, Sakiko-san. I will tell him to apologize to you."

"No, Tsunayoshi-san." Sakiko said, tightening her grip on his shoulder. "He must come to me of his own free will, not because you told him to do it. He would view your words as an order. He must learn to reign his temper, if he wishes to become what he aspires to be."

Tsuna tensed up the moment the hand had squeezed his shoulder, his surface instinct to fear wanting to take over. However, his ears hadn't gone deaf. What Sakiko said was true, and his deeper instinct did tell him that she was not a threat to him; that she is trustworthy and that she would protect him till death as she herself had stated. But it was also the part that scared him.

"Now go before anyone sees you here. I don't want you to get in trouble." She said and gently pushed him out of the room. He nodded his head, thanked her, and left.

After a few days, the A classes had a meeting to strategize. Deciding that it was not worth her time and that the Disciplinary committee would have their hands full, Sakiko went to the Reception room to see both Hibari and Kusakabe doing paperwork.

"Does it ever end?" She asked a rhetorical question as she sat next to Kusakabe with a pen in hand. This time it was reports about truant students.

Around middle of the lunch break, Sakiko asked as she stood up: "I am going to make some tea. Would you like some as well?"

"Black with a spoon of sugar please." Was Kusakabe's request.

"What about you, Hibari-sama?" The girl asked as the prefect leader had not said a word.

"Green." The teen said after a small pause. Sakiko would have chuckled at this act, guessing that he wanted to show that he was stronger than them and could ensure thirst but then changed his mind, but held it in, not wanting to spoil her future guardian's mood. Once the kettle was set to , Sakiko noticed a black shadow outside, so she opened the window and called out lightly: "Reborn, would you like something to drink?"

After a moment Reborn appeared on the windowsill with his hands on his hips. "I didn't see you in class. Why?"

"Because I know the material and here is paperwork that needs to be done. Do not worry, my grades will not suffer from it."

"I'll evaluate your knowledge when you return home. If you don't pass, you will have to attend classes." The Sun Arcobaleno said an ultimatum and jumped off somewhere.

"You are staying with Sawada Tsunayoshi?" Kusakabe asked, getting suspicious of her words of not being related to the boy.

"Yes, but only due to Reborn. I had nowhere to stay, so he arranged for me to stay there without the matriarch knowing about by surname." The caramellette answered as she set Hibari's tea next to his hand first. Only then she gave Tetsuya his tea. It was a silent way of showing that she respected Hibari in more than words. After that she quickly made herself a cup of coffee and returned to work.

"Kusakabe, you do the rounds today." Hibari ordered his assistant, when the bell signaling the end of classes for the day.

"Yes, Hibari-san." The tall teen replied.

"You. Come with me." Ever since the strong blow in the gut, Hibari had started addressing Sakiko as either 'You' or 'Woman'. It her name, but it was still not his common 'herbivore', which could be considered as an upgrade in his food-chain. At least, that was what she liked to believe.

"How about we fight hand-to-hand today?" Sakiko offered, when both of them where on the roof.

"No."

"Are you saying that you are weaker without your tonfa's?" A button was pushed, which got a venemous glare as a reply. "If you aren't, prove it."

Noting that the boy didn't take out his signature weapons out, the girl attacked, putting him in a defensive position. But the punch wasn't fast – she didn't need to immobilize him – so he easily blocked it and went for his own attack, which was easily dodged. After about an hour of relentless sparring, Sakiko jumped back, somewhat out of breath, and said to the very wearied out Hibari:

"Let us end here today. I have to return to my abode so that I would be able to do Reborn's tests before midnight."

"No." The boy stubbornly said and went for another attack.

"It was not a request, Hibari-sama." The girl said, catching his arm and twisting it behind his back. "I am done for the day."

Hibari tried to get out, but she tightened the hold on him to prove her dominance. "I could break your arm incurable right now... but where is the fun in battling someone who would not be able to fight full force?"

With those last words, Sakiko let go her future mentor go, and left the roof in a brisk pace. She had to leave quickly so that the now-teen wouldn't chase her and push himself over his limits by doing so. In addition, he did need to be able to get to his own home in one piece.

Before going to her living abode, Sakiko decided to go window-shopping, which ended up her buying a mobile phone for herself so she could call Reborn if need arose. As she was toying with her new phone, she wondered into an alley that worked as a shortcut home. A disgusting smell caught her attention. She looked up from her phone to see an appalling sight. A man laying on the ground with an empty bottle of alcohol and a syringe next to him. She scoffed in disgust and walked right past him, not even bothering to call an ambulance. In her mind, those who lowered themselves to drugs were not worth saving. But she did note in her mind to inform Hibari about the drugs. He would most certainly want to know about this violation of his turf.

The girl returned to the Sawada residence while the sun was still setting and sought for Reborn only to find him in her to-be-father's room, tutoring and torturing the boy through his homework.

"Reborn, could you spare me a moment?" She asked, looking into the room, Tsuna paused his hand that was writing, while the Sun Arcobaleno nodded his head and left the room, closing the door so that Tsuna wouldn't hear what was spoken.

"What is it?"

"I bought a phone and wanted to ask for your number in case of an emergency."

"Give it to me." Reborn demanded and Sakiko complied, however, instead of adding his number, he pocketed it. "I will return it tomorrow before school. Now go and change, and I will give you your tests."

Sakiko had no other choice than do as told, unless she wanted to feel pain.
