Well, there wasn't anyway the both of you could just leave something so obviously digital, if for nothing more than Ruki wanting to kick some ass and explore.

Funny how she was a bit annoyed with you for taking so long to get back because she wanted you both to visit her grandmother, but she was all too happy to put it off to get some fun in herself.

But well, when she looked at you, violet eyes all sparkling with eager excitement, you couldn't deny Ruki her fun. You were such a pushover when it came to your girls.

Still, that didn't mean you just casually walked in as you were. Who knew what you would be up against. You equipped your gear, your boots, gauntlets, chestplate and new swords which hung on your back, sheathed in a pair of crimson red sheaths.

Ruki herself called out Taomon, who was her only digimon small enough currently to tag along without drawing attention. The golden vixen giving you a respectful nod as she was released from her digivice.

And with that taken care of, the three of you made your way down into the digitized subway system.

As soon as you entered, it was like some kind of energy field rippled over your skin.

"You feel that?" you asked your companions.

Ruki nodded, "Yeah." she replied, then turned her head towards Taomon, looking for an answer.

"It seems to be some form of barrier," The vixen digimon commented, "I cannot tell exactly what it is, but I believe it is going to block anything from leaving this area until the one who conjured it is destroyed, or if someone stronger destroys it."

"Simple enough then right?" you asked, raising one gauntlet clad arm, crimson light glowing in your palm. But before you could fire, a furred hand gently grasped your arm and stopped you.

"While I do not doubt you could destroy it Hayato, there is no telling what kind of effect it will have on the real world," Taomon gently rebuked you, "Maybe save that as a last resort?" she suggested.

"Fair enough." you replied, bowing to her wisdom. Taomon might not be say, as technologically intelligent as you, but there is no denying her wisdom.

Ruki scoffed, "If I did that, you'd have smacked my ass first before agreeing," she said, raising an eyebrow at you, "What's with the good boy act? Your slutty demon digimon not enough, you want to bang my digimon as well?"

Taomon sighed.

You smirked, "While I'm not really into fur, I do know what digimon Taomon is most likely to digivolve in to," you replied smugly, "Plus, unlike you, Taomon's a good girl, you need to get spanked a lot to keep a lid on that dirty mouth of yours."

Instead of taking the bait, Ruki instead turned to Taomon, "So you heard him. He wants to fuck you when you digivolve into a Sakuyamon," she said, "How's that sound Taomon?"

Taomon sighed, "I do not understand the significance of mating as you both do, other than the fact that you both are attracted to each other and take great pleasure in it," the vixen digimon replied, "As it is though, I am fond of Hayato and get along well with him, and respect him greatly for all the help he has given us. If you have no problem with it, and he so desires, if I do become a Sakuyamon, I will gladly allow him to 'fuck me' was it? Whenever he desires."

"Huh," Ruki blinked, and for once, she seemed a bit shocked. She shook it off easily a moment later though and turned back to you, "You're a real casanova you know that babe?"

"Well I managed to land you as a girlfriend didn't I?" you teased back.

Ruki shook her head, grinning, "Well, I suppose at the very least, it'll let me have a rest after you split my cunt wide open with that horse dick of yours."

"How vulgar." Taomon commented under her breath. You only heard her because of your enhanced senses. But even still, there was a fond smile on her lips as she watched Ruki interact with you.

She really did care for Ruki a great deal didn't she?

You didn't even bother refuting her at this point. Ruki is as Ruki does, and if she was trying to get you to fuck random girls, why wouldn't she get you to fuck her digimon who was like a sister to her as well? And you definitely weren't opposed to it, because you haven't seen a Sakuyamon in real life, but even just the card image, ooft, those leather pants on those legs and thighs.

"Just don't get jealous because she'll be able to take a pounding better than you." you taunted, and continued your way down the stairs.

"Oof you hear that Taomon? Best get ready to have trouble walking around for days on end after he wears you like a condom." You heard Ruki laughed behind you.

"..I still do not understand what that means Ruki." Taomon sighed.

Is it wrong to take pride in the way Ruki brags about you? You shook your head, ridding yourself of those thoughts as the sounds of combat reached your ears, and the voice of a young girl cheering?

When you got to the bottom of the stairs, you saw what it was.

"Fist of The Beast King!"

In the middle of the weirdly distorted subway opening, a Sunflowmon was consumed in a massive fist of flame, screeching as it died and burst into flakes of green data.

"Way to go Leomon!"

From the drection the flame attack came from, a Leomon stood tall, clenching its sword tightly in one hand, eyes closed as it drew the data towards itself and loaded it. Immediately after though, its tensed, eyes shooting open and looking at you, with what you assumed was shock.

Behind him, the one cheering, was a girl around your age. Short, dressed in a school uniform you think you saw Tamashi wearing the male version of. She was cute though, with reddish brown hair, and a curvy body. She had that whole girl next door look going for her.

And in her hand, she held a very familiar device.

One of the digivices given to tamers who met digimon in the real world and partnered up with them.

She blinked as she noticed you, Ruki and Taomon. "Hey!" she waved cheerfully. She blinked as her eyes settled on you, "Why are you wearing armour, and are those swords?"

Leomon stepped in front of her, body tense but willing to use its body to protect the girl by the looks of it, "Jeri, be careful, this is no normal human." it warned, and you could see a bead of nervous sweat trailing down its lion like face.

Well, that was one perceptive lion. You should probably do something about that before it gets spooked enough to attack you. It's not even you, that you're worried about here. It's Ruki. She'll happily delete it without a second thought.

So, with that thought in mind. You whipped it out. Your digivice that is. You held it up to show the girl and her Leomon, "Calm down, we've got digivices as well, no need to think we're hostile."

"..I'm hostile." Ruki muttered under her breath.

Leomon blinked, but didn't let down its guard, still glaring over at you warily. The girl on the other hand let out a sigh, "That's a relief," she smiled, "I only just met Leomon not long ago when we got stuck down here, and all the other digimon here have been really hostile, I probably would have died if Leomon didn't come to my rescue."

Ah, so they met down here then. And the lion is really just a big softy, and scared of your strength.

"No worries," you smiled back, "There were a few digimon attacking people up above, and we took care of them. We came down here to make sure nobody was in trouble."

"Turning up the charm again are you?" Ruki taunted lowly from behind you, "Really aiming for that harem finish aren't ya babe?"

Note to self. You were going to give this girl a really good spanking tonight.

"So what's the situation like in here?" you asked, looking towards Leomon and getting right to the point.

Leomon looked almost lost at you addressing him, but blinked and answered, "..I am unsure what is fully going on," the lion digimon replied, "All I know is that I saw some manner of creature in the digital world, it created some kind of ripple and then I found myself here, with many digimon attacking each other and saw Jeri about to be killed so jumped into action."

You nodded, seemed simple enough. You were almost certain this had to do with Data Eater's, you could almost instinctively feel that there was at least one here and it was behind this mess. And the digimon appearing altogether would panic, or in the case of the stronger or more ambitious ones, see a lucky egg fall into their laps.

"I don't see any Digimon left around here," Ruki cut in, looking around the warped train station with a critical violet gaze, "Did you defeat them all and load their data?"

"No," Leomon replied, and you noted he went almost shame faced. Jeri touched a gentle hand to one of his massive fists gaining his attention and smiled soothingly at him, the lion man sighed, "I am ashamed to admit, it was all I could do to grab Jeri and escape up here where the weaker digimon escaped to, there are many more powerful digimon fighting further down, I dare say the one who is left standing at the end will possibly even stand at the pinnacle of the Mega Level."

"Really now?" Ruki's eyes gleamed with excitement, and she lifted her Eden Digivice up, looking into the screen at her remaining two digimon, "Then this just got interesting. My digimon will be able to power up immensely in here."

"Sorry to butt in," Jeri cut in, looking at Ruki's digivice, "But why is your digivice so different from mine?"

"Oh?" you hummed, lifting your own and showing it off to her, "These are Digivice's used for Eden, we both have the same type of digivice as you as well, but I didn't trust them, we have no idea who sent them to us after all, so I just copied over their most useful programs to my Eden digivice and didn't bother with it."

You then looked to Leomon, "No offense," you started, "But I don't want any of that digidestined bullshit, saving your world isn't my problem."

"..No offense taken?" Leomon replied awkwardly, "...What is a digidestined?" he muttered under his breath so lowly you only heard due to your enhanced body.

"But yeah, I think these are superior in every way," you continued, you pressed one of the buttons on your digivice and an image of all your digimon ready and waiting for you if you needed them appeared, "They can store our digimon for one so they don't need to hide like idiots in the real world, and with them we can form partnerships with multiple digimon at once."

"Very impressive," Leomon crossed his arms and nodded, looking at the screen, "As expected of a human of your power. I see multiple ultimate level digimon in there, and at least two mega level's as well I'm sure."

"Yeah this guy's a freak when it comes to raising digimon," Ruki cut in, jabbing her thumb at you, then looked pointedly at Jeri's almost reddish brown hair, "Also a freaking casanova with a thing for redheads, so best watch out before he seduces you like he did me."

You rolled your eyes, "Ignore her." you told Jeri, who merely giggled.

"You're funny," she pointed out, before her eyes pragmatically zeroed in on your digivice, "Is it possible for me to get one of those as well? I don't want to force everything on Leomon."

"...Allies would be a great help, I will not lie." Leomon nodded.

Well, you did actually have a spare Eden Digivice. You took it off that one guy early on when you started your quest to make your digimon powerful so you could make more money.

...Funny how your goals these days seemed to be getting further and further away from what you originally wanted.

"I do have one already modded up," you admitted, pulling the white and yellow digivice out of your pocket and holding it up, and the colours even matched her original digivice, "..And I would feel bad if a girl as cute as you died."

A flush spread across Jeri's face at the outright compliment, and she reached up to toy with her hair, "Ah, really?" she giggled.

"Ugh, gag me." you heard Ruki mutter.

..You probably will once you get home. In a much more fun way of course. After that spanking she deserves too.

"As for getting you a few allies.." you hummed, holding up your own digivice and input a command, transferring two of your stored digi-eggs, a Nyaromon egg and a Tsunomon egg, "There, I've transferred a pair of digi-eggs from my digivice to yours, you can hatch them with one of the programs in the digivice, getting them to join you though will be up to you, I mean you could force them but that won't work out well in the long run." you explained, handing the digivice over to her.

"Wow." Jeri blinked as she took the digivice.

"..Such ease of transfer," Leomon shook his head and muttered lowly, once again only you catching it, "No wonder everyone was always so desperate to reach the human world and gain a tamer of their own. Humanity, what a formidable race."

He'll probably be disappointed when he realizes few, if any could ever measure up to you. That or relieved. You're pretty much the pinnacle of humanity. Actually, thanks to that accident with the data eater and the digimon you'd taken the data of, you were beyond a mere human.

At this point, you weren't even sure what you were. Human? Digimon? A data eater? A hybrid of all three?

At the thought of the Data Eater's, your eyes roved around the glitchy real world of the train station. This wasn't normal at all of course, but it did remind you of something, this colour scheme, the way it looked like two or more spaces were constantly overlapping, you'd seen it before.

When you first took the data of that first Data Eater and became what you are now, you processed a lot of information when you were ejected from Eden. Honestly, at the time, your mind couldn't process all of the information flooding it, and you weren't even sure how much time you were in that 'space' between the time you were ejected from Eden and the time you ended up back in your room.

The thought had been at the back of your head for a while. The Data Eater's, they weren't natural at all, they could obviously effect the real world if you were anything to go by. They weren't digimon, they weren't humans and they weren't Eden avatars.

"What are you thinking so intensely about?" Ruki asked knowingly, breaking you from your thoughts, and drawing Jeri, Taomon and Leomon's attention fully to you again.

"...I've got a theory." you replied.

"Let's hear it then." Ruki said, arching a brow at you.

"...This isn't because the real world and the digital world are overlapping," you began, and you noted they were all listening intently now, "The Data Eater's, I'm fairly certain they caused this."

"What is a Data Eater?" Leomon asked.

"Horrid monsters, that are neither human or digimon," Taomon explained to him, "Where they appear they cause massive havoc."

"Yeah," you nodded, "But that isn't what I'm getting at, or at least that alone."

"Stop beating around the bush." Ruki sighed, rolling her eyes.

"This is kind of exciting!" Jeri giggled.

"The digital world and human world have been overlapping a lot, but never like this, the digimon wouldn't be able to get here in the first place without that happening," You explained, huffing in annoyance, "But even then, nothing like this has ever happened before, and the difference is the Data Eater's."

You looked around at them all, hard, trying to convey just how serious this could be, "What if there's a third dimension? One where the Data Eater's are from?" you asked, "And what if, it sits right in the middle between the human world and the digital world."

"I see," Taomon nodded, humming in understanding, "It would explain why they seem to be able to traverse between Eden and the Digital World so easily, and just why a space like this exists. We currently stand within the dimension of the Data Eater's, it just has doors open to both the digital and human world at the same time within here."

"...Shit," Ruki cursed, "And there goes a lot of my fun, huh? Just couldn't let me have this could you horse dick?"

"...Horse Dick?" Jeri spluttered.

And there goes the seriousness as well. You sighed.

Before you could really get a chance to come up with a plan of action, the ground shook with loud, thick footfalls and a howl of rage resounded through the air.

"Leomon!" a roar resounded from the stair well up to the platform you were on.

You whirled around, along with everyone else, just in time to see the hall of the stairs smash open, debris flying everywhere and a massive Cyclonemon bound through, rage shining in its one eye.

"I'll gut you pussy!" it roared, and you saw steaming power gather in its maw, before it threw its head forward, unleashing a large red hot beam of plasma towards you all, "Hyper Heat!"

Those around you jumped into action, Leomon grabbed Jeri and jumped out of the way, while Taomon formed a barrier around herself and Ruki.

You didn't bother moving, you just huffed and stood up, holding your hand outstretched and thrust forward. Your palm hit the beam of red hot plasma, and slapped it into the air where it passed seared through the roof easily.

"That was hot." Ruki commented, nodding approvingly from behind the barrier Taomon provided.

"Hilarious," you rolled your eyes, shaking out your hand to rid yourself of the burning sensation, "Though, it did burn a bit."

"W-what the!" Cyclonemon stepped back in fear seeing its strongest attack being negated so easily.

To be fair, it did do some damage to you. But you're stronger than a mere Champion without your gear on, and while that attack would have hurt even an ultimate to a degree, with your gear on, you were sure you could take on even mega level digimon.

And what little damage it did do to you, scalding and blistering your palm, was rectified moments later by the regeneration you got from Cerberumon. So it the outside observer, it looked like you casually negated the attack without issue.

It turned on its massive lumbering feet and raced towards the stairway up out into the real world, but using one of your newest and most versatile abilities, you raised your hand up and clenched it into a fist, and a noose of wind wrapped around the draconic digimon's neck and dragged it into the ground hard enough to crater it.

Anyway, again, shameless Pa-atreon plug. I've got one, go by the same username on there, easy to find and all that jazz. Support me if you want, it'd be swell, but don't feel pressured lads and ladies, I'll be uploading my stuff outside it regardless and not keeping it all behind a paywall or anything like that.
