Welcome to the sixth chapter of Emblems and Heroes!

The Fire Emblem franchise belongs to Intelligent Systems. I only write this crossover for the fun, entertainment, and enjoyment of the readers.

Now, let us begin this chapter...

"I am Lumera, a Divine Dragon and the former Queen of Lythos, and I am honored to stand before you as the very first Hero summoned by Kiran himself from the World of Elyos."

In the Elyos Outrealm Gate, Alfonse, Sharena, Commander Anna, and even Fjorm couldn't believe their eyes. In front of Elyos Outrealm Gate stood Lumera, the former Queen of Lythos, and the first Elyos Hero that was summoned by Kiran Pathfinder himself.

As Alfonse's eyes widened in astonishment, his mind raced to grasp the significance of Lumera's words. The first Elyos Hero summoned by Kiran? The implications of such a revelation were profound, and Alfonse couldn't help but feel a sense of awe in Lumera's presence.

"Wow, Lumera! That's incredible! I'm Sharena, the Princess of the Kingdom of Askr, and this is my brother, Prince Alfonse, and this is Commander Anna, and this is Fjorm, the Princess of Nifl," Sharena, unable to contain her excitement, interjected, her words tumbling out in a flurry. "Welcome to the Order of Heroes! You must have so many amazing stories to share. How did Kiran manage to summon you as a Hero?"

As the former Queen of Lythos and the first Elyos Hero, Lumera stood before Sharena, her eyes brimming with a sense of purpose. "I was summoned by Kiran himself as a Hero shortly after I died," she said, her voice carrying a weight of determination.

Sharena's eyes widened in awe. "Summoned by Kiran, our Summoner? What an honor!" she replied, her voice filled with admiration.

Lumera smiled softly, her gaze shifting to the others gathered around. "Power comes in many forms, young one. It is not just about strength, but also about the choices we make and the sacrifices we endure."

Fjorm, the Princess of the Kingdom of Nifl, spoke up, her voice laced with empathy. "I understand, Lumera. There are many Heroes who have been called upon to the Kingdom of Askr, even in the afterlife."

Lumera's eyes met Fjorm's, a glimmer of recognition passing between them. "Princess Fjorm, it is an honor to meet you. Your words bring solace to my heart. To know that I am not alone in this journey."

Fjorm nodded, her expression gentle. "You are never alone, Lumera. We are united in our purpose, bound by the call to protect our realms."

A sense of gratitude washed over Lumera as she listened to Fjorm's words. "I have no regrets, Princess Fjorm. I gave much of my life energy to my daughter, Alear, to safeguard the World of Elyos. It was a sacrifice I made willingly. And now, as a Hero, I can continue to protect both Elyos and Zenith."

Commander Anna's voice cut through the air, her words carrying authority. "Lumera, as a new member of the Order of Heroes, you will need to undergo orientation to be officially inducted. This includes meeting and befriending other Heroes in our ranks."

Lumera nodded, a spark of excitement in her eyes. "I am eager to meet the Heroes who inspired the 12 Emblem Rings back in Elyos. It will be an honor to fight alongside them, to learn from their experiences."

Alfonse, the prince of Askr, raised an eyebrow in curiosity. "Emblem Rings? What are they, Lumera?"

Lumera's gaze turned towards Alfonse, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "Ah, the Emblem Rings. They are a symbol of great power and significance in Elyos. Each ring represents one of the twelve warriors from many worlds. The Emblem Rings are magical artifacts bestowed upon certain people in Elyos."

Alfonse leaned forward, his eyes filled with intrigue. "Magical artifacts? What do these Emblem Rings do?"

Lumera chuckled softly, a hint of mystery in her eyes. "All in due time, Alfonse. I promise to share everything I know about the 12 Emblem Rings and the World of Elyos. But for now, let's focus on the task at hand, on forging bonds with our fellow Heroes."

Sharena, always filled with boundless enthusiasm, joined the conversation. "I can't wait to introduce you to everyone, Lumera! We have such a diverse group of Heroes here, each with their own unique stories and abilities."

Lumera's smile widened, genuine warmth radiating from her. "I am grateful for this opportunity, Sharena. To be embraced by such a vibrant and courageous group of individuals is a true blessing."

Commander Anna interjected, her voice laced with determination. "Remember, Lumera, as an official member of the Order of Heroes, you will have access to our resources and support. Together, we will face the challenges that lie ahead and protect the realms from any threat."

Lumera nodded solemnly, her eyes filled with a sense of duty. "I understand, Commander. I am ready to contribute my skills and knowledge to this noble cause. Together, we shall safeguard both Elyos and Zenith."

And so, as Lumera embarked on her journey of orientation, she carried with her the hopes and dreams of Elyos, eager to forge new friendships and bring her own unique perspective to the Order of Heroes. With time, she would share the secrets of the 12 Emblem Rings and the wonders of the World of Elyos, enriching the lives of her newfound companions and strengthening the bonds that held them all together.

Emblems And Heroes

A Fire Emblem Heroes x Fire Emblem Engage Crossover

Chapter 6: Interlude - A Brief Visit to Somniel

Meanwhile, Alear and Kiran find themselves in the Ring Vault after clearing Lumera's Grand Hero Battle. As Alear stood in the center of the Ring Vault, her heart was heavy with a mixture of gratitude and sorrow. She turned to Kiran, a small smile playing at the corners of her lips.

"Kiran, thank you. Thank you for helping me give my mother, Lumera, the closure she deserved. It means more to me than words can express," Alear said, her voice filled with deep appreciation.

Kiran nodded, his eyes reflecting a mixture of understanding and empathy. "Alear, it was an honor to fulfill Lumera's final request, to summon her as a Hero after her passing. I believe it brought her peace, knowing that her legacy would continue to inspire and guide us."

Alear's gaze grew distant for a moment, memories of her mother flooding her mind. "Lumera always believed in the power of the Emblems, in their ability to bring hope to the darkest of times. She fought with unwavering determination, and she taught me to do the same."

"And now that she is a Hero, Lumera can do so much more," Kiran placed a comforting hand on Alear's shoulder, his voice steady and reassuring.

"By the way, Kiran," Alear spoke up. "Should we tell the others about what happened to Lumera?"

"Hmm... I think we shouldn't tell them yet," Kiran answered with him closing his eyes in contemplation. "When the time is right, I will call Lumera back to Elyos as a Hero. Think of it as a trump card, Alear."

"I understand, Kiran," Alear smiled. "I'll look forward to it then."

Alear gazed up at the starry night sky, her thoughts consumed by her mother, Lumera. She couldn't help but wonder about her well-being in Zenith, a realm so different from Elyos. A sense of longing filled her heart, hoping that Lumera was safe and content in her new home.

"I wonder how my mother is doing in Zenith?" Alear mused, her voice filled with a mix of curiosity and concern.

Kiran joined Alear, his eyes also fixed on the vast expanse above them. "I'm sure she's doing well, Alear. Zenith is a realm of wonders, and Lumera is a strong and resilient woman. She's probably met up with Alfonse, Sharena, and Commander Anna by now. Maybe she's even had the chance to meet the very Heroes who inspired the creation of the 12 Emblem Rings of Elyos."

Alear's eyes sparkled with hope, a small smile forming on her lips. "Oh, how I wish I could be there with her, to witness her meeting these legendary Heroes. It would be a dream come true."

Kiran turned to Alear, a warm expression on his face. "Alear, you've been through so much. I'm glad I could be here for you, to ease your burdens and sorrows even just a little bit. It means a lot to me."

Alear reached out and gently touched Kiran's hand, a gesture of gratitude and connection. "You've been my guiding light, Kiran. Your unwavering support and friendship have given me strength during these trying times. I can't thank you enough."

Kiran's smile widened, his voice filled with sincerity. "It's been an honor, Alear. We're a team, and with our Emblems and Heroes, we'll be able to save Elyos and even Zenith. But for now, let's go to our beds and rest up for the morning. Tomorrow is a new day, and together, we'll face whatever challenges it brings."

Alear nodded, a sense of peace washing over her. "You're right, Kiran. We need our rest to be ready for whatever lies ahead. Thank you again, for everything."

As Alear and Kiran walked back towards their respective bedrooms, the night was filled with stars and possibilities, and as they settled into their beds, they knew that no matter what awaited them, they would face it together, united by their friendship and shared purpose.

The next morning dawned with a heavy weight on Alear's heart as she, accompanied by her three Stewards, and Kiran, made their way to meet Alfred, the Crown Prince of Firene. The somber atmosphere surrounded them, a reminder of the recent loss they had all endured.

Stepping forward, Alear addressed Alfred, her voice filled with gratitude. "Your Highness, I want to express my deepest thanks for your help during Lumera's wake and funeral. Your support meant the world to me and my family."

Alfred nodded solemnly, his expression filled with empathy. "It was the least I could do, Alear. Lumera was a remarkable queen, and she deserved a proper farewell. I'm glad I could be of assistance in such trying times."

Vander, one of Alear's Stewards, spoke up, his voice filled with gratitude. "With your help, Your Highness, we were able to give Lumera a final service befitting her majesty. Your generosity and support will never be forgotten."

Framme, another Steward, couldn't hide her disbelief as she spoke up. "It still feels unreal, doesn't it? Queen Lumera, gone from this world. It's hard to believe that someone so vibrant and full of life is no longer among us."

Clanne, the third Steward, nodded in agreement, his voice tinged with sadness. "Indeed, Framme. Accepting Lumera's absence is a struggle, a void that can never be filled. Her presence brought light and hope to our kingdom, and now, we must learn to carry on without her."

The air crackled with energy as Emblem Marth materialized before them, his presence ethereal and regal. "I, too, mourn the loss of Queen Lumera," he said, his voice carrying a hint of sorrow. "Her grace and wisdom were unparalleled, and her absence is deeply felt."

Emblem Sigurd, his form shimmering with a golden radiance, appeared beside Marth. "I understand the pain of losing a loved one," he said, his voice filled with a mix of nostalgia and grief. "Just like Lumera, my own basis met an untimely end, leaving my son, Seliph, to carry on our legacy."

Turning his attention to Kiran, Emblem Sigurd's eyes held a glint of appreciation. "I must say, Kiran, it was an honor to be summoned your Sigurd as a Hero during the mock battle. To witness the real version of myself during the mock battle was a testament to the prowess of us Emblems and your Heroes."

Kiran, touched by the sentiment, nodded gratefully. "Thank you, Emblem Sigurd. Your presence on the battlefield was awe-inspiring, and I'm humbled to have had the opportunity to fight alongside a legendary Emblem like yourself. Lumera's spirit continues to inspire us all, even in her absence."

A sense of determination filled the air as Kiran spoke, his voice brimming with resilience. "Though Lumera may be gone, her legacy will endure. We shall carry on her vision, her dreams, and her unwavering commitment to justice. Together, we will face the challenges that lie ahead, sharing the burdens and triumphs that come with defending Elyos."

Emblem Marth's eyes gleamed with approval, his voice resonating with strength. "You speak true, Kiran. The bonds we forge and the memories we hold dear will guide us through the darkest of times. Lumera's spirit lives on within us all, and her light will guide us forward."

Emblem Marth's voice echoed with a hint of frustration. "If only we could grant Alear the full power of the Emblems," he lamented. "With their strength, we could overcome any obstacle that stands in our way."

Emblem Sigurd's resolute tone cut through the air. "It's true that without the remaining Emblems, such a feat is impossible," he stated. "But we must not lose hope. We have come this far, and I believe we can find a way to unlock Alear's true potential."

Alfred, the Crown Prince of Firene, stepped forward, his voice filled with determination. "We have done everything in our power to aid Alear," he said. "My retainers and I have fought alongside them, offering our support in whatever way we could. But we must acknowledge that our resources are limited."

Vander, his eyes reflecting the weariness of battles fought, added his voice to the discussion. "Alfred's assistance, combined with Kiran's ability to summon Heroes, has been instrumental in our fight against the encroaching darkness," he acknowledged. "Without their presence, Lythos would have faced even graver peril."

Kiran, eager to understand Alfred's motivations, spoke up. "Prince Alfred, may I ask why you arrived in Lythos that night?" curiosity lacing his words.

Alfred, his voice filled with urgency, began to explain the dire situation his kingdom was facing. "The Kingdom of Firene is in grave danger," he revealed, a hint of worry evident in his tone. "My mother, Queen Eve, sent me to Lythos to seek Queen Lumera's aid. We are under attack by dark beings, and our forces are struggling to hold them back."

Alear, her eyes narrowing with concern, interjected. "The Corrupted," she stated, her voice tinged with both recognition and dread. "That's what you're referring to, isn't it? The abominations reanimated by foul magic."

Kiran, his voice calm and measured, chimed in. "Indeed, Alear is right," he confirmed. "The Corrupted are once lifeless corpses brought back to life through dark sorcery. They are driven by an insatiable hunger for destruction and chaos."

Alfred nodded solemnly. "That's why the Corrupted have been attacking the Kingdom of Firene and its people indiscriminately," he explained. "They show no mercy, no remorse. Our forces have been fighting valiantly, but it's a losing battle. The Kingdom of Firine won't last much longer, and their dark power seems endless."

A sense of gravity settled over the group as they absorbed the weight of the situation. They understood the magnitude of the threat that loomed over the Kingdom of Firene and the urgency of finding a solution.

Suddenly, Alear, her voice resonating with authority, turned to Alfred with a determined look in her eyes. "Alfred, as the Divine One, it is my duty to protect the realms from such darkness," she declared, her words carrying a sense of unwavering conviction. "My Stewards and I will lend you our aid in saving the Kingdom of Firene from the clutches of the Corrupted."

Alfred's eyes widened in surprise, gratitude washing over his features. "Thank you, Alear," he replied, his voice filled with genuine appreciation. "Your support and the power of the Divine One will be invaluable in our fight against this relentless enemy."

Kiran, the Summoner for the Order of Heroes, stepped forward, his eyes gleaming with determination. "Alfred, fear not, for with my abilities as a Summoner, I can call upon Heroes from different realms," he explained, his voice brimming with confidence. "With their strength and skills, we can even the odds and turn the tide of battle in favor of the Kingdom of Firene."

Alfred's face brightened with hope, a glimmer of optimism shining through. "That would be incredible," he responded, awe lacing his words. "To have Heroes fighting alongside us, it would give us the strength and courage we need to face the Corrupted head-on."

Alear, her voice filled with reassurance, spoke once again. "With the power of the Emblem Rings and the might of Kiran's Heroes at our side, Lythos and the Order of Heroes will come to the aid of the Kingdom of Firene," she announced, her words carrying the weight of a promise. "We shall not let darkness overshadow our lands."

Alfred was overcome with gratitude, his voice filled with heartfelt appreciation. "I cannot express my gratitude enough," he said sincerely, his eyes reflecting his deep appreciation. "Thank you, Alear, for your unwavering support as the Divine One, and thank you, Kiran, for summoning the Heroes who will stand alongside us. Together, we shall prevail against the Corrupted and bring peace back to Firene, and ultimately, to Elyos."

"We're happy to help," Alear smiled.

Alfred hesitated for a moment, his voice filled with vulnerability as he spoke to Alear. "Alear, there's something I must confess," he began, his words laced with a mix of apprehension and nostalgia. "Ever since I was a young boy, I've visited you in Somniel while you were in your deep slumber."

Alear's eyes widened in surprise, her expression a mix of curiosity and understanding. "You have?" she responded softly, her voice tinged with a hint of curiosity. "During my slumber, my memories were muddled, but I sense fragments of those encounters. Tell me, Alfred, what do you remember from those visits?"

Alfred took a deep breath, his gaze fixed on Alear. "I remember the beauty of Somniel, the ethereal glow that surrounded you as you slept," he confessed, his voice filled with a mixture of awe and nostalgia. "I remember feeling a deep connection to you, as if we were bound together by an unseen force, even though I couldn't understand it then."

Alear smiled warmly, gratitude shining in her eyes. "Thank you for sharing your memories with me, Alfred," she said sincerely, her voice carrying a sense of appreciation. "During my slumber, I was not aware of your presence, though my understanding was clouded. But now, as I awaken fully, I believe that all of my latent memories will eventually surface in time."

Kiran, ever perceptive, interjected, his voice filled with determination. "Alear, as your allies, companions, and friends, we'll create new memories together," he declared, his words imbued with unwavering resolve. "As we cooperate to save Elyos, we'll forge a bond that no darkness can break."

Alear's smile widened, a sense of warmth radiating from her. "I appreciate your words, Kiran," she responded, her voice filled with genuine gratitude. "To have such loyal and steadfast comrades by my side gives me hope. Together, we'll face the challenges ahead and create a future filled with joy and triumph."

As they prepared to go to the Kingdom of Firene, their words hung in the air, and a sense of unity blossomed among them. They understood that their past encounters, though shrouded in mystery, had laid the foundation for their present alliance. With their shared determination and newfound understanding, they were ready to embark on their journey to save Elyos, knowing that their bond would only grow stronger as they faced the trials ahead.

Back in the Kingdom of Askr, Lumera sat alone at one of the tables in the Aether Resort's Dining Hall, her gaze fixed on the plate before her. The aroma of freshly cooked Salisbury Steak wafted through the air, tempting her senses. She marveled at the array of colorful vegetables artfully garnishing the dish, a reminder of the simple pleasures that she had once taken for granted.

As she picked up her fork, Lumera couldn't help but reflect on her journey. Back in the Elyos, she had faced countless battles and perils and even met her untimely demise while defending the Ring Vault. Yet, fate had given her a second chance, summoning her as a Hero to join the esteemed Order of Heroes.

With a mix of gratitude and wonder, Lumera realized that her newfound role as a Hero allowed her to experience the ordinary joys of life once again. The act of sitting down and savoring a meal, something so seemingly mundane, now held a profound significance for her.

She took a bite of the tender steak, savoring the flavors that danced on her palate. Lumera closed her eyes, allowing herself to be fully present in that moment. The world of battles and conflicts faded into the background as she relished the simple pleasure of nourishing her body.

A soft sigh escaped her lips, carrying a sense of contentment. "Who would have thought," she mused to herself, a gentle smile tugging at the corners of her lips, "that even after experiencing death, I would be able to find solace in something as ordinary as a meal?"

Lumera's eyes flickered up from her half-finished plate, her curiosity piqued by the voice that had called out to her. She scanned the room, trying to locate the source, until her gaze landed on a group of four individuals. There was a young man with a determined expression, accompanied by three young women who seemed to be fixated on her.

She watched as the man stepped forward, a confident smile gracing his features. "Excuse me, would you mind if our group joined you at your table?" he asked, his voice carrying with it a sense of sincerity.

Lumera's surprise turned into a warm smile as she nodded. "Of course! You're more than welcome to sit with me," she replied, gesturing for them to take a seat. She couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement at the prospect of the new company.

As they settled in, Lumera's gaze drifted towards the young man who had spoken. "I m Lumera, a Hero newly summoned to Askr, So, who are you four?" she inquired, her curiosity evident in her voice.

The man nodded, his eyes gleaming with pride. "We're Heroes from the World of Valentia. My name is Alm," he introduced himself, extending a hand towards Lumera. "And this is Celica," he continued, gesturing towards the red-haired woman beside him.

"Nice to meet you," Celica introduced herself.

Then, the first woman stepped forward, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "I'm Faye, from Ram Village," she introduced herself. "I've known Alm since we were children. It's an honor to fight alongside him."

Lumera's smile widened as she took in Faye's infectious energy. "It's wonderful to have childhood friends supporting each other," she remarked. "And what about you?" she turned her attention to the final member of the group.

The young woman, Genny, smiled gently. "I'm Genny, from the Novis Monastery," she replied softly. "I specialize in healing magic and support. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Lumera nodded, her curiosity piqued by the diverse backgrounds and skills of their group. "It's truly an honor to have such esteemed company," she said sincerely. "Please, make yourselves comfortable. We have much to talk about."

As Lumera spoke those words, the four Valentian Heroes sat down to join her at the table. As they settled down and began to enjoy their meals, Lumera's attention was drawn to Celica. A wave of realization washed over her, and she couldn't help but mutter under her breath, ensuring that her words were only audible to herself.

"So, Celica is the basis of Emblem Celica back in Elyos," Lumera whispered, her voice filled with a mix of awe and intrigue. The Valentian heroes were engrossed in their own conversations, unaware of Lumera's discovery.

And then, Celica's eyes met Lumera's piercing gaze, curiosity evident in her expression. She couldn't help but wonder why Lumera had been staring at her so intently. Breaking the silence, she asked, "Lumera, why were you looking at me specifically?"

Lumera's features softened as she considered how to respond. She took a deep breath before offering an explanation. "Celica, you remind me of someone I knew back in my home world. It's as if there's a connection between you and a person from my past."

Alm's curiosity was piqued as he interjected, his eyes gleaming with interest. "What was your home world like, Lumera? We've heard tales of different realms, but it's always fascinating to hear firsthand accounts."

Lumera smiled, appreciating Alm's eagerness to learn. She realized that sharing her experiences with the Valentian Heroes could help establish a stronger bond between them. "Well, the World of Elyos is a place filled with magic and wonder. It's a land of diverse landscapes, from lush forests to towering mountains. The skies are vibrant, adorned with floating islands and creatures that defy gravity."

Eyes widening, Celica leaned forward, captivated by Lumera's vivid descriptions. "And the people of Elyos, what were they like?"

Lumera's voice took on a nostalgic tone as she continued, "The people of Elyos were resilient and resourceful. They possessed a deep connection with magic and used it to shape their lives. It was a world where kingdoms coexisted, each with their own unique culture and customs."

As Lumera delved into her narrative, she made a conscious decision not to mention the Emblem Rings. She believed that this information was not crucial at the present moment, and that revealing it might complicate matters unnecessarily. Instead, she focused on painting a picture of her homeland, weaving tales of grand adventures and mythical creatures.

The Valentian Heroes listened intently, captivated by Lumera's words. They could almost picture the majestic landscapes and feel the vibrant energy of Elyos. Lumera's storytelling had brought a piece of her world into theirs, bridging the gap between realms.

As the conversation flowed, Lumera felt a genuine connection forming between herself and the Valentian Heroes. She realized that they were not mere allies on a shared mission but potential friends. And in that moment, Lumera's decision to withhold certain information felt justified. The time would come when the truth about the Emblem Rings would be revealed, but for now, they could revel in the camaraderie and forge a bond that would help them face the challenges ahead.

Meanwhile, in the battered hallways of Lythos Castle, Vander, Alear, and Kiran gathered together, their minds focused on the task at hand. Vander cleared his throat, capturing their attention.

"Listen, both of you," Vander began, his voice steady and confident. "With Alfred and his retainers returning to the Kingdom of Firene, I've been thinking, and I believe we should use Somniel as our base of operations."

Alear's eyebrows shot up in surprise, her eyes widening at the unexpected suggestion. She looked at Vander, her expression a mix of curiosity and intrigue. "Somniel? But how? We can't simply transport our allies there, can we?"

Vander stood before Alear, his eyes filled with a mix of admiration and respect. He took a deep breath, ready to reveal a secret that would change their journey forever.

"Ahem," Vander began, his voice laced with a sense of urgency. "As the Divine Dragon, you can use Somniel to travel anywhere in Elyos."

Alear's eyes widened, a flicker of excitement dancing within them. She had always known about her unique abilities, but the idea of using Somniel as a means of transportation had never occurred to her. "You mean, I can use Somniel to travel wherever we need to go? That's incredible!"

Kiran, the Summoner of Zenith, interjected, "But Alear, there's more. The Breidablik, the artifact I possess, also has the capability to open portals alongside its ability to summon Heroes. It can open portals to places where I have stepped foot before."

Alear turned her attention to Kiran, a spark of curiosity igniting within her. "So, you're saying that the Breidablik can open a portal to Somniel?"

Kiran nodded, his expression serious yet filled with a glimmer of excitement. "Indeed. If I have been to a place, I can use the power of the Breidablik to create a portal leading there. This includes both Somniel and Lythos."

Alear's heart swelled with gratitude for her companions. "Thank you, both of you, for sharing this information with me. It gives us more options and a greater chance of success."

Vander smiled warmly, his eyes reflecting the unwavering belief he had in Alear. "You are the key to our victory, Alear. With your powers and Kiran's artifact, we have a powerful advantage."

Alear took a moment to gather her thoughts before speaking with determination. "Kiran, I ask of you, please use the Breidablik to transport us to Somniel. It will be our base of operations, and from there, we can plan our next move."

Alear stood before Kiran, her eyes filled with determination. She knew that time was of the essence, and she needed to gather her loyal Stewards to ensure their success.

"Wait, you need to gather your remaining Stewards," Kiran suggested. "Vander is the only Steward with you right now. Alear, you and Vander need to find Clanne and Framme so that I can transport everyone to Somniel."

"You're right, Kiran," Alear began, her voice steady. "You said that I need to gather my two remaining Stewards before we can use the power of the Breidablik to open a portal to Somniel. Is that correct?"

Kiran nodded, his gaze focused and unwavering. "Yes, Alear. Once your three Stewards are by your side, I can activate the Breidablik and open the portal to Somniel. It is crucial that we have everyone together for this."

Alear's heart quickened with anticipation. She had grown to trust and rely on Vander, Clanne, and Framme, her loyal Stewards who had been with her since the beginning of their journey. Gathering the twins was her top priority.

It took several minutes, but Alear and Vander walked around in Lythos Castle and found the twins, Clanne and Framme, in the Lythos Castle courtyard. Now with her 3 Stewards accompanying her, Alear went back to Kiran in the battered corridors of Lythos Castle.

Alear's eyes gleamed with gratitude as she addressed her Stewards. "Vander, Clanne, Framme, thank you for answering my call. Our journey is not yet over, and I need your strength and loyalty now more than ever."

Clanne, as he looked at Alear with respect, spoke. "We are here for you, Alear. Wherever you lead, we will follow."

Framme, as she smiled at Alear, nodded. "You can count on us, Alear. Together, we will face any challenge that comes our way."

"As your Stewards," Vander spoke. "We will support you in whatever choice that you make, Divine One."

Alear took a deep breath, a sense of unity and purpose filling the air. "Now that we are all together, Kiran, it's time. Use the power of the Breidablik to transport us back to Somniel, our base of operations."

Kiran's grip tightened on the Breidablik, his eyes locking with Alear's. "I'm ready, Alear. Brace yourselves."

With a surge of energy, Kiran pulled the trigger on the Breidablik. A dazzling light enveloped the group, and in an instant, they found themselves standing in the familiar surroundings of Somniel.

As the blinding light faded, Alear, Clanne, Framme, and Kiran found themselves standing in the heart of Somniel, the floating island of the Holy Land of Lythos. The air crackled with energy, and Alear couldn't help but gasp at the sight before her.

Clanne, his eyes filled with awe, turned to Kiran and spoke with admiration. "Kiran, I must say, the power of the Breidablik is truly incredible. The way it transported us here in an instant, it's unlike anything I've ever witnessed."

Kiran smiled humbly, a glimmer of pride in his eyes. "Indeed, Clanne. The Breidablik is a remarkable artifact, capable of harnessing immense power, and I am honored to wield it."

Framme, her voice filled with curiosity, joined in the conversation. "And not only does the Breidablik summon Heroes, but it also allows us to travel to places you've been before, Kiran? That's astounding!"

Kiran nodded, his gaze fixed on the Breidablik in his hand. "Yes, Framme. The Breidablik possesses the ability to create portals to places I have visited in the past. It opens up new possibilities for us, allowing us to navigate the realms with ease."

Alear, her eyes scanning the vastness of Somniel, couldn't help but remark on the sheer size of their newfound sanctuary. "I never realized just how spacious Somniel is. It's breathtaking."

Alear stood at the center of Somniel, her gaze sweeping across the serene surroundings.

Vander, the wise and experienced advisor, approached her with a knowing smile. "Divine One, Somniel may seem quiet now but fear not. Once we gather more allies, this place will come alive with the energy of purpose and determination."

Alear nodded, her eyes shining with anticipation. "I can imagine, Vander. Somniel has the potential to be a bustling hub of activity."

"You know Alear," Kiran piped in. "Somniel is similar to the Kingdom of Askr. Back there, Heroes were allowed to roam freely in Askr Castle and its surrounding grounds. It was a vibrant place, always filled with conversations and training sessions."

Vander nodded, his eyes glinting with wisdom. "Indeed, Kiran. Just as in Askr, Somniel will become a gathering place for Heroes from various worlds. A sanctuary where they can find respite and train, honing their skills to face the challenges that lie ahead."

Alear's mind buzzed with possibilities. She understood the importance of creating an environment where their allies could flourish and bond. "We must ensure that Somniel becomes a place of warmth and unity. A home away from home for our allies, where they can find solace and support."

Vander's gaze turned thoughtful, his words measured and wise. "In addition to gathering allies, Alear, we must also consider the equipment we will need to bolster our odds. Weapons, armor, and other resources will be crucial in our fight against the encroaching darkness."

Alear's eyes sparkled with determination. "You're right, Vander. We cannot afford to overlook the importance of proper equipment. It will give our allies the edge they need, ensuring that they are well-prepared for the battles that lie ahead."

"Alright. Divine One, we'll tend to the facilities in Somniel," Vander said to Alear, with his right hand on his chest for emphasis.

"Yeah, if you need help with something, just call for us," Clanne said as he nodded in agreement.

"We'll keep Somniel tidy while you're in Firene!" Framme chimed in as she beamed a smile at Alear.

As the three Stewards roamed around Somniel, Kiran, his voice filled with conviction, echoed Vander's sentiment. "Indeed, Alear. The right equipment can turn the tide of a battle. We must gather the necessary resources and forge alliances with skilled craftsmen and artisans who can provide our allies with the tools they need to succeed."

"I couldn't agree more," Alear nodded.

And then, Kiran remembered the jewel that was dropped by that cloaked girl that attacked Lythos Castle a few days ago. He reached for his pockets and grabbed the jewel and gave it to Alear.

"Alear, I found this jewel at the Ring Vault a few nights ago, during the enemy attack," Kiran explained. "I think you should keep it."

Alear held the jewel delicately in her palm, its vibrant colors dancing in the light. She turned to Kiran, her curiosity piqued. "Kiran, this jewel is unlike any I've seen before. It's exquisite. Where did you get it?"

Kiran's face darkened with a hint of concern as he recalled the events of a few nights ago. "Alear, this jewel was dropped by a cloaked girl who attacked Lythos Castle's Ring Vault."

"I see. I suppose I should keep this jewel then," Alear nodded as she placed the jewel in one of her pockets. "It's best if we don't leave anything to chance."

"Are you sure, Alear?" Kiran asked her. "The jewel holds great power, and we don't fully understand its capabilities yet."

"I know, Kiran. But I believe it's safer in my possession for the time being." Alear answered, placing her hand on Kiran's shoulder. "Besides, we made a promise to Alfred to aid the Kingdom of Firene, and we can't let anything distract us from that."

"You're right, Alear," Kiran sighed for a bit, and then he smiled. "The people of Firene are counting on us. But what about Somniel?"

"I know, Kiran. Somniel is a fascinating place, full of mysteries waiting to be unraveled," Alear acknowledged. "But right now, Firene needs us more. We'll have to put our exploration on hold.

"Alright, Alear. Firene it is," Kiran agreed. "But what about Vander, Clanne, and Framme? They've been with us since the beginning. Are we leaving them behind?"

"No, Kiran," Alear replied. "Vander, Clanne, and Framme have played a crucial role in our journey. I trust them with my life. We can't abandon them. They'll stay here in Somniel and continue our work."

"That's a relief," Kiran smiled. "They'll take care of Somniel while we venture towards Firene.

"Exactly. They'll hold the fort here, while we continue our mission," Alear replied. "We'll return to Somniel once we finish helping Alfred in Firene."

"Let's do it, Alear," "Let's go to Firene and help them in any way we can. We owe it to Alfred and to ourselves."

"Kiran, we'll face whatever challenges come our way together," Alear agreed. "Knowing that we have the support from our Emblems and Heroes, and the skills of our friends behind us."

With their plans set, Alear and Kiran prepared to leave Somniel behind temporarily and embark on their mission to aid the Kingdom of Firene. The jewel safely tucked away in Alear's pocket, they knew that their journey would be filled with danger and uncertainty. As both Alear and Kiran used Somniel's portals to transport themselves to the Kingdom of Firene, Little did they know that their decision would set in motion a chain of events that would change not only their lives but the fate of the entire realm.

Back in the Kingdom of Askr, Alm, Celica, Faye, and Genny gathered around Lumera, their eyes filled with wonder as she finished explaining what her home world, Elyos, was like. Lumera's words painted a vivid picture in their minds, and they couldn't help but be captivated by her tale.

Alm, ever the curious one, spoke up, his voice filled with anticipation. "Lumera, do you think there's a chance that Celica and I could visit Elyos someday? It sounds like a truly remarkable place."

Lumera smiled warmly at Alm's question, her eyes shining with a hint of excitement. "As Heroes, we're bound to Kiran himself through our contract," Lumera replied. "When Kiran himself deems it necessary and calls upon your aid, you might find yourselves standing on the soil of my home world."

Celica, her voice filled with genuine interest, joined the conversation. "It's a pleasure to meet a new hero from a different world, Lumera. It's always fascinating to encounter someone who has experienced different lands and cultures."

Lumera's expression brightened at Celica's words. "Likewise, Celica," she said. "Meeting heroes like you and Alm, who have accomplished great feats in the name of both Valentia and Askr, fills me with admiration. It's an honor to be among such an esteemed company."

As the four Valentian Heroes and Lumera continued their conversation, a sense of camaraderie began to form. They realized that despite their differences in backgrounds and origins, they were united by their shared purpose as heroes. Each of them held a unique perspective and a wealth of experiences, which they could draw upon to face the challenges that lay ahead.

Little did they know that their encounter and the bonds they were forming would play a significant role in the battles to come. As they exchanged stories and immersed themselves in the wonders of different worlds, the Kingdom of Askr and the realm of Elyos were brought closer together, their destinies intertwined in ways they could never have imagined.
