"Okay, that should do it." Kazuma proudly says to himself as he looks at their new house.

It wasn't anywhere near the size of the mansion that he and Aqua lived in before arriving in Outworld but they were the only ones that were going to live in it.

"You know I still say that you need to build some stables." he heard a woman's voice but he ignored it.

"No, he should concentrate on building an arena where the students can train, how else will they be able to defend the Lady's house?" a man says to the woman, who had given him her unwanted opinion.

Kazuma could only rub his head in frustration, the ghosts were supposed to go into whatever version of heaven Aqua had made for them.

Unfortunately for him, that wasn't the case, According to the ghost the trees of the living forest used to be where they went after they died.

It wasn't a curse or anything bad, it was just something that happened because the forest was where the people of Outworld went when they needed guidance from those who came before them.

The reason that all of the trees were dead and there were monsters everywhere was that someone had stolen and corrupted the souls that lived in the forest.

And now that Aqua was cleaning up the place both the forest and the souls were healing, unfortunately for him, it would be a while until the rest of the forest was cleansed.

This meant that the souls were free to do whatever they wanted until the trees were cleansed and that meant that they were busy bugging him

"You know after this I'll teach you my fighting style." a man who had the wings of an angel says to him.

"No, if someone will train him it will be me" the spirit of a ninja that called himself Ice argued.

"Look guys I appreciate it but I don't want to fight anyone. Look Aqua and I will keep our heads down until our friends find a way to get us home and then we will be gone.' he says to the ghost.

"And what if someone attacks the two of you before that." Jerrod asks him, as he rises from the ground in front of Kazuma.

"I'll cross that bridge when I get to it, but come on no one knows we're here." he says to the ghosts who all have the "You have got to be kidding" look in their eyes.

Kazuma ignores the ghost's stares and walks past all of them, as he heads towards the well where Aqua is meditating.

Normally Aqua would never do something as boring as meditate, but because she doesn't know where the rest of the wells are, and because they don't want to attract any attention.

She has no choice but to use her powers to search where the souls are coming from.

Kazuma walks past the wall of ghosts that separate Aqua from the rest of the world, and he ignores the glares from the female guards who believe that men shouldnt be allowed to approach Aqua.

The well of soul and the posts had changed after Aqua started using the well to find the others like it, it was now glowing with blue light that seemed to spill into the ground around it.

If Kazuma had to compare the energy he would say that it was water that was overflowing from the well and was now going into the forest.

Unfortunately for him and Aqua, only the ghost could touch the blue stream of light, and as long as the ghosts were good or cleansed they could somehow feed off the energy.

If something like a zombie or an evil spirit made contact with it, it would be pulled into the energy and dragged into the well before it was cleansed.

"You know when I see you like this I forget who you are." he says to Aqua whose eyes are glowing with bright blue power.

The well in front of her is glowing with a combination of green and blue energy that seems to be fighting each other.

The energy inside of the well glows violently as something splashes inside of it. Kazuma can only watch as a pair of hands grab onto the side of the well before a pair of lights come down and help the spirit escape.

"Man that was tough." Aqua says to herself as she wipes the sweat from her forehead.

Kazuma doesn't say anything as one of the posts behind Aqua glows a bright green before it goes back to its original blue color.

"So you found another one?" he asks her.

"Yeah it was in this reality version of Earth, there were a lot more but now that I turned it off all of the other ones are gone." Aqua proudly says to him before she sticks out her hand as if expecting something from her.

"What?" he asks her.

"Cryy me, I just save a lot of souls so you have to carry me home!" Aqua loudly says to him.

"No." he bluntly says to her, before the ghosts around them begin to murmur.

"Kauma come on! You're embarrassing me in front of my children!" Aqua complained.

Kazuma didn't say anything as he looked at Aqua who looked paler than she usually did, he ignored the ghost's glares before he pulled Aqua to her feet.

There was no way that he was going to carry her like a princess, so he placed her body on his back, told her to wrap her arms around his neck, and held her by the legs before he carried her home.

"Kazuma am I a bad Goddess?" Aqua asks him softly as they walk past the dozens maybe thousands of blue and white spirits that surround them.

He can feel Aqua lowering her head and softly tightening her arms around his neck as if she were afraid that he would say yes.

"Yeah, you're loud, you drink and you make a lot of mistakes." he says to her before he smiles.

"But you know what that's what makes you great. Look around you all of the people or spirits here would still be under the curse if it wasn't for you and everyone back home loves you.

Not only that Darkness and Meguming would give their lives for you." he says to her.

Kazuma doesn't say anything as he feels his back start to get wet and he hears Aqua quietly crying as he carries her home. 'kazuma if you had to choose would you choose me or another Goddes?" she asks him.

"...You're the only one that ever gave a guy like me a chance, so yeah I'll choose you over and over again." he says to her before he stops walking and lets go of her legs.

"Waite it needs one thing." aqua says before she lets go of him and runs towards the front door before she uses her finger to draw the Axis Cult's emblem on it.

"There now it's perfect! Now we just need some furniture and we have a house." Kazuma can only smile as he watches Aqua open the door and walk inside.

As Aqua disappears into the house he stops smiling, there is a reason why she asked him that question.

He knew that she must have seen or heard something that hurt her more then it should have, but until she was ready to tell him about it he wouldn't ask her what happened.
