CHAPTER 6
When Robert E. O. Speedwagon stopped his car at a pitstop point somewhere in a small town, something was going on in one of the apartment buildings. As Clare suspected a disturbing murdering of someone innocent, Robert E. O. Speedwagon stopped his car, told everyone to wait, and went to check it out. But when he entered the apartment building where suspicion was taking place, he decided to proceed with extra caution for himself and decided to check each room.
"Hmmm…I see…something is definitely going on here." said Robert E. O. Speedwagon. He then heard cries for help. The person crying for help was a mysterious netrunner named Lucyna Kushinada. She was commonly known as Lucy to most people.
"Lucy! Shut up!" shouted a cyborg with a horse mask on as he was torturing Lucy in a physically violent manner.
"Just stop! You stupid, pathetic brats are going to get it this time!" yelled Lucy. She later pulled out a gun and threatened to shoot the group of horse mask-wearing cyborgs. Each and every one of them got away, except for one, who was shot to a bloody death.
"Everything okay here?!" asked Robert E. O. Speedwagon after busting down the door.
"...Oh, yes. …..Everything is…fine…" said Lucy after noticing Robert.
"Is everything okay?" asked Robert E. O. Speedwagon. "Where the heck is that boy you hang out with?"
"Oh, David? He's…not back yet." Lucy answered Speedwagon. "He went out with one of the Joestars to deliver something to a local office. Are you waiting for him?"
"No…" said Speedwagon. "Why ask?" Lucy answered, saying she was just curious. Robert then made his exit.
"What happened in there?" asked Clare.
"Physical torture, Clare." said Robert E. O. Speedwagon. "How old are you? I'm just asking because I would tell you…that's if you are of appropriate age."
"I'm only twelve." Clare responded. "Am I supposed to know what happened? I mean, I'm turning thirteen soon."
A brief moment of silence was heard.
"...Do you think we should tell her?" asked Meliodas.
"I'm not old enough to know? Is that what you're saying, Meliodas?" asked Clare.
"I'll tell her." said Jotaro. "Clare…can we..talk for a minute?"
"Sure, Jotaro." said Clare. Clare was later pulled aside by Jotaro Kujo. They went to sit down on a bench together, and when Jotaro sat down, he gave Clare an opportunity to sit. Jotaro then cleared his throat, and gave a glance at Clare. Clare wondered what he was going to talk about.
"Clare, It's Dio Brando." said Jotaro.
"Is Dio the one behind this?" Clare asked.
"Sort of." said Jotaro. "When he first used that world-conquering staff, he caused a lot of drama within people. Unfortunately, this led to the fatal suicides of multiple people."
"Were people killing themselves and taking their own life over what Dio Brando was doing?" asked Clare.
"Sadly, yes. That was what was going on long ago." Jotaro proclaimed. "Kyojuro Rengoku, the Flame Hashira, and Giyu Tomioka, the Water Hashira, were both trying to sort things out with Dio. Sadly, they just gave up and turned to others for help."
"I…I don't understand…why would Dio Brando just make people kill themselves?" asked Clare in sadness. "I mean…I feel sorry for all those people…"
"It's hard Clare. Luckily, my adoptive great-great-great-granduncle Dio Brando will be stopped." said a female person.
"Jolyne?" asked Jotaro.
"Who is she?" asked Clare.
"You…don't remember?" asked Jotaro. "She's my daughter. And the only female JoJo."
"I see." said Clare.
"Dad, me and David Martinez are back." said Jolyne. "Nothing went well."
"Jolyne, you and David wait with Robert E. O. Speedwagon at the car over there. I am talking with Clare right now." said Jotaro.
"But who's–" asked David as he was interrupted and shushed by Jotaro. As he growled like an angry tiger, he walked away with Jolyne.
"Where were we?" asked Clare.
"I was at the part where people were committing suicide because of actions committed by Dio Brando." said Jotaro. "You said something about feeling sorry for the people who died from taking their own life."
"Go on." said Clare.
"Right." said Jotaro. "So anyways, no one knows what Dio's intentions for taking over the world were." he later said. "You understand now?" asked Jotaro to Clare.
"I do understand, Mr. Jotaro." said Clare.
"Alright." said Jotaro. "Come on. Let's see what Jolyne wants with David."
Jotaro and Clare walked back over to Speedwagon's car.
"What happened?" asked David. "Did you say that people were committing suicide because of Dio Brando?" he later asked.
"You never knew?" asked Jotaro.
"I just don't understand why that bastard would do such a thing like this! Everyone should be happy they have a life!" shouted Jolyne.
"Jolyne, I know how you feel." said Jotaro. "But together, we will stop that damned Dio Brando and his stupid idiot friends and allies."
"But we need a bigger army of people needed to stop everyone." said Clare.
"She's actually right." said Jotaro. "We are still gathering up more people. As a matter of fact, we still have to find the other Hashira and the rest of the Demon Slayer Corps."
"Well, that actually brings me to my next statement." said Jolyne."
"What?!" asked Jotaro. "The hell happened this time?!" he asked in anger.
"We saw the arrest of a couple of people at the hands of Speed-O-Sound Sonic." said David Martinez.
"Robert, drive us to the scene right away." said Jolyne.
"I'll do my best to get you there." said Robert E. O. Speedwagon. Everyone hopped in the car and drove off to the scene of the arrest.
