Attention all readers-Here is the Johto region. I'm going on record to say that I'm working hard on the Johto region, and I've only seen certain clips online for certain episodes. In the original airing of Pokemon and its entire running of Ash and Pikachu's journey, I know that Ash doesn't have a sibling. Like the other Pokemon Fanfiction that I have uploaded so far, in my version (as well as others that I have read), Ash has a sibling. Also, Jordan will do the current count for the number of times Team Rocket tried to take Pikachu and Meeko away from her and Ash, that includes the banned and not aired in the United States episodes. I don't want to make those episodes feel left out. I hope that you will like it and Happy Reading!
I DONT OWN POKEMON! I ONLY OWN THE OC AND THE CREATION OF HER REGIONAL POKEMON TEAM! TO ANYONE WHO HAS AN ISSUE WITH THE REGION ORDER THAT I'M WRITING, I ASK THAT YOU STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT IT! ITS GETTING REALLY ANNOYING RIGHT NOW! I'M WORKING WITH WHAT I GOT SO DONT RUSH ME TO DO THE OTHER REGIONS, OK!
Shoutouts:
Narrator: Today we find our heroes more determined than ever to meet the challenges that await them on the road to the Johto League.
Jordan: I'm looking forward to these challenges.
Meeko: Riolu!
Narrator: That's great! But the real question is this, 'Can they meet the challenges on the bridge?'
Unknown to the quartet, there was a camera the popped up through the floorboard and a familiar laugh was heard. "Here they come." said Meowth. "It's the four Twerps, Meeko and Pikachu and they're headed straight this way."
"Little do they know that their travel plans are about to fall through." said Jessie.
"Fall through indeed." said James.
"This plan may be simple, but I think it's our best one ever!" said Meowth.
"When those Twerps get right overhead…" said Jessie, thinking of their plan.
"When they're in just the right position…" said James.
"We pull the rope; the bottom drops out and they tumble into the cage." said Meowth. "Then we slip on the lid and we got em right where we want em."
"And that Pikachu and Riolu too." said Jessie.
"We're gonna catch a Pikachu and Riolu! Pika-Pika-Chu-Chu-Chu! Rio-Lu!" sang Team Rocket.
"We're gonna catch a Pika….chu and Riolu?" asked Team Rocket, then looks up at the wooden bridge, forgetting that too much movement would cause it to break.
"It's collapsing!" Jessie said.
"So is our plan!" said James.
"We usually don't wash out this early in the chapter." said Meowth. Soon as he said that, the bridge collapses, washing them in the river.
"Team Rocket's splashing off again!" they shouted.
"Huh?" said Ash as they came up to the bridge, not knowing that Team Rocket had broken it. "Hmm, I wonder how that happened. How are we gonna get across?"
"I guess we could keep walking along the river till we find another bridge." said Misty.
"Aww!" whined Jordan.
"Yeah, but the map says the nearest one's ten miles away." said Brock.
"Ten miles?" asked Ash.
"I'm not walking ten miles for that one." complained Jordan.
"We might have to, Jordan." said Brock.
"Brock, there's gotta be some other way to get…." Ash started to say when they hear someone using a whistle. "Huh? Whoa! Let's see what they are."
"Ledyba, the Five Star Pokémon. These naturally-gentle Bug types gather in groups during cold weather to keep warm." said Dexter.
"Girl traveling with Ledyba. This natural beauty's short, boyish hairstyle provides the ideal complement to her warm, feminine features." Brock said through his binoculars. "This girl is obviously Brock's type."
"Here we go again." said Misty.
"Riol…" said Meeko as Jordan helps her stretch her hitting arm.
"Hello! Hello!" said Brock, getting the girl's attention.
"Huh?" she said, looking down.
"Yoo-hoo! Over here!" Brock called out.
"Begin your descent." the girl said to the Ledyba. "Decrease speed 50 percent and prepare for immediate landing."
"Ledy." they said as they began their descent.
"Ledyba are Bug Pokémon, Misty." said Ash. "How come you're not starting to bug out yet?"
"I'm surprised that she hasn't yet." said Jordan.
"They're cute." said Misty, shocking Jordan and Meeko. "The only thing that's bugging me now is Brock."
"I guess we don't have to worry about her today, Meeko." said Jordan as Ash lightly laughs.
"Riolu." Meeko said with a smile.
"Uh, it's like a miracle." said Brock, then rushes towards her. "Thank goodness you've come to save us. You're, you're just like an angel from out of the blue."
"Can I help you with something?" she asked.
"Yes, miss." said Ash. "We need to get across the water and Brock needs to get back to earth before my sister's Pokémon knocks sense into him."
"You floated down from the heavens to aid and comfort me in my desperate need." said Brock. "Fate brought us together, no power in heaven or on Earth will ever tear us apart."
"Uh, we just wanna cross the river." said Misty, shoving Brock aside.
"Well, I could fly you across with my Ledyba if you like." said the girl.
"Huh?"
"Really? That'd be great." said Ash.
"Thank you!" said Jordan.
"Thanks, uh…."
"Oh, my name's Arielle. What's yours?" asked Arielle.
"Hi, my name's Ash."
"I'm Jordan!"
"Nice to meet you, I'm Misty."
"We'll take you over one at a time when you're ready." said Arielle.
"We're ready when you are." said the quartet.
"Pikachu! Riolu! Togeprrii!"
Working together, Ledyba and Arielle took the quartet one at a time across the broken bridge. "Pretty cool, huh, Pikachu?" chuckled Ash.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Descend." said Arielle.
"That was really great. Thanks a lot, Arielle." said Ash as Jordan and Meeko smiled at the Ledyba.
"Oh, no problem." she said. "We had to come here to do a little work in this apple orchard anyway."
"Apple Orchard? You mean, these are all apple trees?" asked Misty. "The white flowers are beautiful, aren't they, Togepi?"
"Toge, Toeg…priii!" said Togepi.
"I don't understand, why did you have to come to this orchard?" asked Brock.
"Are the Ledyba going to help the orchard?" asked Jordan.
"Well, I…" Arielle started to say, about to answer both questions when she was interrupted.
"Arielle!" A man said, calling out to her as he drove up. "Good to see you, girl. All set to go to work."
"We're all set, Mr. Douglas." replied Arielle as he drives away, humming.
"What are you gonna do, Arielle?" asked Ash.
"Why don't you guys stay for a while and see for yourselves?" she asked.
"Bet she uses the Ledyba." said Ash as they stood a ways from her, watching.
"What would Ledyba have to do with the apples?" asked Misty.
"Winds southwest at one knot." Arielle said to the Ledyba. "Begin climbing at 40 degrees, on the whistle…"
"Ba." said Ledyba, ready to go against the wind. As Arielle blew her whistle, Ledyba took off to the sky.
"Descend!" said Arielle, blowing her whistle and Ledyba hovered over several trees. "Now climb! Descend!"
"I see, the Ledyba are pollinating the orchard." said Brock. "You were right, Jordan."
"Pollinating?" asked Ash. "So that's what they're doing!"
"Oh, I get it." said Misty.
"Good, then maybe you can explain it to me." said Ash.
"Oh, Ash." said Jordan as Misty and Brock groaned.
"To put it simply, the Ledyba transfer pollen from apple blossom to apple blossom which allows the trees to produce fruit." Brock explained.
"Got it." said Ash.
"Riolu." Meeko said, looking at the diagram behind Brock. "Riol, Riolu?"
"Good question, Meeko." said Brock.
"Hey, that gives me an idea." said Ash. "Heracross, I choose you!"
"Heracross!" it said. "Heracross!"
"Fly into the orchard and give the Ledyba some help." said Ash.
"There's a lot of pollen in the apple orchard." said Jordan.
"Heracross!" he said, happy to help and went to the tree trunk instead.
"He must be hungry." said Ash.
"Climb! Descend!" said Arielle, commanding her Ledyba squad. "Climb!"
"I can't believe how she can command all six of her Ledyba at the same time." said Brock.
"She's almost like an army drill sergeant, isn't she, Ash and Jordan?" asked Misty.
"Yeah." said Jordan.
"Mm-hmm." Ash said, nodding.
"Yeah, and I'd join her platoon any day." said Brock.
"At ease." said Misty and Jordan.
"Arielle, how'd you learn to control your Ledyba like that?" asked Ash.
"Well, I've done a lot of training, of course." said Arielle. "But the real key's this little whistle. The way I give the Ledyba all their commands is by playing different notes with it."
"Amazing." said Brock.
"I wish I had a whistle that worked on Psyduck." said Misty.
"Or one that would work on Chikorita." said Jordan.
"How about letting me give it a try?" asked Ash.
"Well, I'd like to, but it's been passed down in my family for generations, so I'm really not allowed to let other people use it." Arielle tells Ash.
"Just like I'm not allowed to scratched you, Ash." said Jordan, causing him to growl at her.
"Too bad, but I can understand why." said Ash, regaining his composure.
"Sorry." Arielle said, apologetically. "Alright, team, we still have work to do. Let's go."
"You scratched Ash?" asked Brock.
"Heh-heh." chuckled Jordan.
Far from the orchard, Team Rocket was spying. "This is like music to my ears." said Meowth, as he and his friends watched the Ledyba. "If we can get our paws on that whistle we'll be the ones to control those Ledyba."
"Those Twerps will have to change their tune when we're the ones in charge." said Jessie.
"I like the sound of this plan." said James.
"Okay, Ledyba, time for a rest." said Arielle. "Now!"
All six Ledyba flew back towards her and landed at her feet. "Welcome, ladies and gentlemen." said James.
"Huh? Eh?"
"Today on our show, a world-renowned expert will be here to appraise your antiques and apprise you of their value." he said.
"Here we go." said Jordan.
"Riol?" Meeko asked.
"This makes it, 127 so far." Jordan tells her.
"Okay, let's get down to business, shall we?" asked Jessie as she goes to Arielle and takes her whistle.
"That's my whistle." said Arielle.
"Hmm, this is a very well-made whistle." said Jessie, inspecting the whistle.
"And now for our expert's final answer." said James. "What did you say?"
"Oh!" said Jessie. "I give this whistle five star."
"Bye, everybody. Thanks for watching." they said and takes off.
"Wait a second." said Ash.
"Yeah, you can't take my whistle." said Arielle.
"Prepare for trouble, its Team Rocket's whistle."
"Make it double. That's Rocket, not missile!"
"To protect the world from devastation!"
"To unite all people within our nation!"
"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"
"To extend our reach to the stars above!"
"Jessie!"
"James!"
"Team Rocket blast off at the speed of light!" said Jessie.
"Surrender now or prepare to fight, fight, fight!" said James.
"That's right!" said Meowth.
"Not you again!" said Ash.
"Give that whistle back!" shouted Brock.
"Never, never, never." taunted Jessie.
"You can't blow the whistle on us this time." said James. Team Rocket sticks out their tongues as they take off in their balloon.
"We'll see!" said Ash.
"The only place you'll see us is in your dreams, Twerp-o!" said Meowth.
"Buh-bye." added James.
"That's new one." said Jordan.
"Revoking his time to see his little girlfriend?" asked Misty.
"Oh, yeah….big time." she tells her.
"Time for you to come with us, Ledyba." said Jessie, then blows the whistle, making the Ledyba surprised and confused. "What's wrong with you? Can't you hear this? Let's go!"
"The Ledyba won't obey you when you havent even done any training with them." said Arielle.
"We went to all this trouble and we're not catching any Ledyba?" asked Jessie.
"Even though we blew the whistle, I guess we blew it." said James. "Really, we did."
"This is a big bug rip off!" said Meowth.
"Don't tell us about rip offs, you're the thieves!" said Ash.
"Yeah, give Arielle's whistle back!" said Brock.
"Give it back right now!" shouted Jordan.
"I'll give you something, Twerps." said Jessie. "Go!"
"Licki!"
"Lickitung, use Supersonic Attack!" said Jessie.
"Licki!" it said, then uses Supersonic on Ash and the others. The Ledyba became confused by Supersonic.
"Use Tackle Attack now." Arielle said to her confused Ledyba. "Why aren't you listening? I said Tackle Attack now!"
"Ha! While those bugs are bogged down, I say we grab Pikachu and Meeko." said Meowth.
"Yeah!" said Jessie and James.
"That's what you think." said Ash. "Go, Pikachu!"
"Go, Meeko!" said Jordan.
"Use Thunderbolt Attack now!"
"Use Vacuum Wave!"
"Pika….chu!" said Pikachu.
"Rio…lu!" said Meeko.
Team Rocket screams as Thunderbolt and Vacuum Wave hits them. Out of nowhere, both attacks scared Ledyba. "Ledyba, where are you going? Come back!" Arielle called out as they took off.
A rip formed on Team Rocket's balloon as Lickitung groans in pain. "Team Rocket's blasting off again!" shouted Team Rocket.
"Pika." said Pikachu as he and Meeko landed on the ground.
"You got them, Pikachu." said Ash.
"You were awesome, Meeko." said Jordan.
"But they got the whistle." said Misty.
"And look!" said Brock as they watched Ledyba fly away.
"Oh!"
"No!"
"Ledyba." said Arielle. "Ledyba!"
"Ledyba!" Misty called out as she and the others were looking for them.
"Ledyba!" said Brock.
"Ledyba! Ledyba!" said Ash and Jordan.
"Pika! Riol!" shouted Pikachu and Meeko.
"Where are you?" asked Arielle.
"We're sorry." Ash said as he and Jordan walked up to Arielle. "We didn't know Pikachu's Thunderbolt and Meeko's Vacuum Wave would scare all your Ledyba away."
"We're extremely sorry." said Jordan.
"Thanks, Ash and Jordan, but it isn't your fault." Arielle assured them. "You had no choice, you had to do something to stop that Team Rocket."
"I'll find your Ledyba, Arielle." said Brock.
"Huh?"
"Go, Zubat!" shouted Brock, calling out Zubat.
"Zubat!" it squeaked.
"Why Zubat?" asked Ash.
"Ledyba and Zubat both use supersonic waves and if the waves sync up, we'll be able to track them down." Brock explained.
"Good idea." said Misty.
"Echolocation!" said Jordan.
"Let's see if it works." said Ash.
"Zubat, use your supersonic and bring back those Ledyba." said Brock.
"Zubat!" it said and goes out to find Ledyba, when suddenly it loudly squeaked back to Brock.
"Wow! Sounds like Zubat found them already." said Brock.
"Or something scared it." said Jordan as a flock of Golbat came out from behind Zubat.
"It's a whole bunch of Golbat!" said Ash.
"Zubat, return now!" said Brock, recalling his Pokémon back. Everyone sighed as the flock of Golbat flew away.
"Brock! That supersonic idea was super stupid!" shouted Misty.
"I can't believe we listened to you!" shouted Jordan.
"I was only trying to help, you two but I guess I went a little batty." said Brock.
"All my Ledyba love the smell of flowers so maybe they flew off to a garden somewhere." Arielle said to herself.
"Flowers, huh?" asked Ash. "And they love the smell. Let's see. If we could just figure out some….I know! Heracross, I choose you!"
"Heracross!"
"I don't know about this." said Misty.
"It'll be fine this time." said Ash. "Heracross, use that sniffer to take us to the nearest place that smells like flowers!"
"If you do this right, you can have a snack break!" said Jordan.
"Hera? Heracross!" said Heracross and starts sniffing the air. "Hera!"
"It must be over that way. Come on." said Ash and they followed Heracross.
"Heracross!" said Heracross, finding something.
"What'd I tell ya?" asked Ash. "Heracross…huh?"
Heracross was on a tree, taking an early snack break. "I guess, Ash isn't the only sucker." said Misty.
"Yeah and I have to live with him too." said Jordan.
"Toge, Toge…prii!" said Togepi.
"Ah, skies as blue as sapphires. Clouds as white as marshmallows." said Jessie, sitting in a field of flowers. "We could be sailing sweetly through them on the soft summer breezes. But instead we're stuck on the ground sewing this dumb balloon."
"How about a little less yappin' and a little more sewin'?" asked Meowth.
"That's right." James said, agreeing with Meowth.
"Now I remember why this whistle reminds me of the two of you." said Jessie. "It's useless."
"Don't throw it away." Meowth said to her as she tosses it to the ground. "Maybe it didn't work cause you wasn't playin it the right way, Jessie."
"Well, I'd like to see you do any better." she said to Meowth.
"Don't mind if I do." said Meowth and blows the whistle. Jessie looks over and starts laughing at Meowth.
"Oh, looks like you're working yourself in a huff. Arbok." said Jessie, then gets out Arbok.
"Cha-bok!" it said.
"Make yourself useful and go find us something to eat." She tells Arbok.
Meowth takes a deep breath and blows the whistle again, this time, sound came out. "Chabok!" said Arbok, then starts acting out.
"What's gotten into you, Arbok?" asked Jessie.
"Huh?" asked Meowth, looking up and starts blowing the whistle again, causing Arbok to act up. "Hey, Arbok's movin' and groovin' to the whistle."
Meowth blows the whistle again and Arbok starts dancing happily to the sound. "You're right." Jessie said.
"Oh, my." added James. The three of them sat back and watched Arbok dance to the whistle.
"I always thought I was a real charmer and I was right." said Meowth, laughing as he held the whistle to his face.
"Huh?" said James, then looks over his shoulder. "Hey, look, over there."
"Oh!"
"It's all them Ledyba!" said Meowth.
"Now we can capture them the old fashion way." said Jessie.
"Jessie, let me handle this one, will ya?" asked Meowth.
"Huh?"
"Okay, Arbok, dive underground and round up all them Ledyba pronto." Meowth said to Arbok.
"You don't really expect Arbok to listen to you, do you?" asked Jessie and Meowth blows the whistle.
"Cha-bok!" said Arbok, diving underground. Feeling the ground shake, the Ledyba opened their eyes and found an angry Arbok in front of them.
"Ledy!" screamed Ledyba as Meowth sends out a net, laughing.
"I'm a pretty good trainer, aint I?" asked Meowth as the Ledyba squirmed in the net.
"Cha-bok!" said Arbok, satisfied at what Meowth did.
"I'm not sure I like this idea." said Jessie. They then tied ropes around the Ledyba, who were now upset.
"There, that should keep you under control." said Meowth when suddenly, the Ledyba starts flapping their wings. "Aah!"
"Wait!" shouted Jessie as the Ledyba took off with Meowth and James.
"This is better than our balloon!" said Meowth.
"Yes, as long as you don't let go of that rope!" said James.
"Now that we've got the Ledyba, let's go get that Pikachu and Riolu." said Jessie as Arbok stayed on the ground, watching them. "Ready, go! Oh, sorry. Ledy-go!"
"Hey, quit stallin'." Meowth tells the Ledyba.
"Let's move it." said James.
"Time to take us to the twerps." said Jessie.
"Ledy!" said Ledyba and released something orange.
"Aah! My eyes!" Jessie shouted
"Aah! Whats this orange stuff?" asked James.
"I heard of seeing red, but not orange." said Meowth.
Jessie screams as the Ledyba take off with Arbok following close behind. "Hey, Ledyba!" Brock called out.
"Where are you?" asked Ash.
"Ledyba!" said Misty.
"Please come out!" said Jordan.
"Don't worry, Arielle, we'll find 'em." Ash assures her.
"Yes, but even if we do find my Ledyba I have a feeling they're going to stop listening to me." replied Arielle.
"That won't happen, Arielle." said Misty.
"It's already happened once." she tells them. "Without that whistle, they'll never listen to a word I say."
"Of course they will." said Brock. "They just got confused by Lickitung's Supersonic."
"I hope you're right." said Arielle. "Because I just can't imagine what I'd do if my Ledyba don't come back to me. I can't even think about life without my beautiful Ledyba."
"I understand." said Jordan. "Life wouldn't be the same without Meeko and Pikachu in it."
"Listen, Arielle…" said Ash. "Who raised those Ledyba and trained them and took care of them when they got sick?"
"Me." she said. "I've done that ever since they were little, tiny babies."
"That's what's important, Arielle." said Ash. "What's in their hearts. That whistle doesn't matter." Arielle tears up as she remembers training her Ledyba.
[Flashback]
All six Ledyba stood in front of Arielle as she blows her family whistle.
At night, Arielle sleeps in the tree with the six Ledyba around her.
She blows her whistle and her Ledyba fly over to her.
[Flashback ends]
"Maybe." she said.
"I know it." said Ash. "When we find the, it'll be just like it was, you'll see."
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Thanks, Ash. You're probably right." said Arielle, causing Ash to laugh when out of nowhere she gasps. "Do you smell what I do?"
"Pika? Riol?"
"What?" asked Brock as he and the others sniff the air.
"I don't smell anything." said Misty.
"Neither do I." said Jordan.
"It's a very faint smell that the Ledyba give off when they're in danger." said Arielle.
"That must mean they're somewhere nearby." said Brock.
"See if you can find them, Pikachu." said Ash.
"You help him out, Meeko." said Jordan.
"Pik." said Pikachu as Ash places him on a branch and jumps higher with Meeko. "Pika…" Pikachu and Meeko pop their heads out in the tree top, looking for the missing Ledyba.
"Riolu!" Meeko called out to their trainers.
"Pika!" Pikachu shouted, pointing in a direction.
"Pikachu senses something. Come on!" said Ash.
"Right! Yeah!"
"What's this weird fog?" asked Ash, grabbing Jordan's hand.
"Where's it coming from?" asked Jordan.
"I knew it." said Arielle. "The Ledyba must've been in some kind of trouble here."
"Look there!" said Misty, pointing in the direction of orange stuff on the ground.
"What is that?" asked Jordan.
"Ledyba!" cried Arielle, following the orange stuff into the forest. The Ledyba continued to drag Team Rocket as they flew through the forest. Arbok wraps itself around a tree and used its tail to grab the rope.
Ledyba struggled as they tried to fly away. "Arbok, you're brilliant." praised Jessie.
"Nice work, Arbok." complimented James.
"It's Team Rocket!" Brock called out.
"Huh?"
"Okay, hold it right there!" said Ash.
"What are you doing with my Ledyba?" asked Arielle. "Let them go!"
"Buzz off, you!" said Meowth.
"You know what, Meowth? Your girlfriend privileges are revoked!" said Jordan.
"What?! No!" shouted Meowth,
"Ledyba!" shouted Arielle. Laughing, James pops up with a cannon and fires a net.
"Gotcha!" said James.
"Now, hand over that Pikachu and Riolu." said Jessie.
"I would never give Pikachu to you!" said Ash.
"Never!" growled Jordan.
"Then we'll just take them from ya!" said Meowth.
"Lickitung, go!" shouted Jessie.
"Victreebel too!" shouted James.
"Licki!"
"Victree!"
Once again, Victreebel had James in its mouth. "I wonder if your whistle will work on Victreebel." said Jordan, curiously.
"Me too. I feel bad for him." said Misty.
"Do whatever you have to do to get that Pikachu and Riolu!" said Jessie.
"Licki! Victree!"
As they struggled against the net, Arbok watches the battle, still hanging onto the Ledyba. "Will they listen to me?" thought Arielle, tears forming in her eyes. "Even, even without the whistle? I guess there's only one way to find out. Ledyba!"
The Ledyba struggled against Arbok's grip, trying to get to Arielle. "Nice try!" laughed Meowth.
"Keep it up, Arielle. Your Ledyba are listening to ya!" said Ash.
"Uh-huh!" she said, feeling proud of herself.
"Alright, Lickitung, use your Stomp Attack!" said Jessie.
"Use your Tackle Attack, Victreebel!" said James.
Lickitung starts stomping on Arielle and the quartet as Victreebel tackles them. "Ledyba!" Arielle shouted as her Ledyba flew even hard to get to her. "Help me! Oh!"
"Ledy!" shouted Ledyba as they finally got Arbok to let go of the tree.
"Cha!" screamed Arbok as it was dragged along.
"Ledyba!" cried Arielle.
"Ledy!" they said, determined to save their trainer.
"Cha!" Arbok screamed, panicking as Lickitung and Victreebel looked behind them, then knocks them into the air.
"Great work, Ledyba!" Arielle called out. "Now lets take care of Team Rocket!"
Determined more than ever, Ledyba turned around and angrily flew towards Team Rocket with Arbok still dangling beneath them. "Now to get out of this." said Ash. "Bulbasaur, I choose you!"
"Bulbasaur!" it said.
"Bulbasaur, use your Razor Leaf to get us out of here!" said Ash.
"And hurry!" said Jordan.
"Bulbasaur!" said Bulbasaur, using Razor Leaf to cut open the net.
Team Rocket continued to scream until they ducked from a dangling Arbok. "Victreebel, use your Razor Leaf Attack too!" said James.
"Bel! Bel!" it said, swinging its leafy arms as it uses Razor Leaf.
"Climb at 70 degrees!" said Arielle.
"Ledy!" said Ledyba, flying up as Victreebel's Razor Leaf cuts the rope. Victreebel then sends more Razor Leaf at them.
"Look out, Ledyba! Descend at 80 degrees!" Arielle called out and they flew down.
"Don't just stand there, Lickitung!" said Jessie. "Attack with Supersonic!"
"Tung!" Lickitung shouted, getting ready to use Supersonic.
"That wont work this time!" said Ash.
"You're gonna get it this time!" said Jordan.
"Pikachu, use Thunderbolt now!" shouted Ash.
"Meeko, use Vacuum Wave!" shouted Jordan.
"Pika….chu!"
"Riolu!"
Pikachu's Thunderbolt and Meeko's Vacuum Wave made contact with Lickitung, causing it to land on Team Rocket. "Okay, Ledyba, descend at 60 degrees then climb at 30 degrees for a Tackle Attack, full speed!" said Arielle.
"Ledyba!" they shouted, going in at full speed for tackling Team Rocket.
"Looks like Team Rocket's buzzing off again!" shouted Team Rocket as they were knocked into the sky. Falling from the sky was Arielle's family whistle, causing Brock to run and catch it.
"Ledyba." cried Arielle as her Ledyba gathered around her in tears.
"Ledy!" they cried.
"Thank you all." she said. "I'm so glad you're back."
"You're a great trainer, Arielle." said Misty.
"Togeprii!" said Togepi.
"It just goes to show you that if you always treat your Pokémon with care, they'll always care about you too." said Brock.
"Yeah." said Ash, agreeing with Brock.
"Pikachu." said Pikachu, nodding.
"Riolu, Riol, Riol." said Meeko, hugging Jordan as she shows that she cares.
"I care about you more, Meeko." said Jordan. "Because you're important to me."
"Pikachu?" Pikachu asked, pointing to himself.
"You're important too, Pika-Pik and don't you ever forget it." said Jordan.
"Olu!" added Meeko. The sun was setting in the sky as they went back to the apple orchard.
"Ready to give it a try, Ledyba?" Arielle asked.
"Ledy!" they said, ready to try.
"I'm counting on you." she said. "Ready?" Arielle then blows her family whistle and all six Ledyba went into the sky.
"Descend."
"Ledy."
"Okay, keep going." said Arielle.
"Ledy!" they said and kept going.
"Wow." said Brock, impressed by Arielle. "Doesn't seem to matter if you use your whistle or not."
"From now on I'm going to try to use the whistle less and less every day." said Arielle.
"Great, and I have a feeling you'll all be a lot happier that way." said Ash.
"Yeah, we're happier already." said Arielle.
"I'll be a whole lot happier if we can get to Violet City." said Jordan. "I need my bath."
"Well, we got to get going, Arielle." Ash tells her.
"Thanks so much, guys, and take care." said Arielle as the quartet said their good byes.
"Ledy!" said Ledyba, waving good bye to the quartet.
Narrator: Today, our friends were reminded that there are many ways for humans and Pokémon to communicate, and that the most important way is with their hearts.
Jordan: Does that mean that Meeko and I can communicate with our hearts?
Meeko: Riol?
Narrator: Yes it does.
Jordan and Meeko, looking at each other: Awesome! Riol!
Narrator: And so they continue on their journey to Violet City, and to the Johto League.
