Reaper-Dragon

Summary: When kidnapped by Oogie Boogie, Junior awakens some powers of his own. To Grim's annoyance, mainly those from Junior's biological father. Now the time has come for Junior to train to and venture into a world filled with gods and monsters. Watch as he becomes the Reaper-Dragon, slayer of immortals and mortals alike. maybe Xovers, probably harem, and the entire Grim Family is badass.

"Stop squirming, you sack of bones! This'll just hurt for a bit," Oogie Boogie howled with an insect-filled grin as he moved the cutter towards Junior's skull.

Junior only struggled harder against the straps holding him down to the table. It wasn't even fear of Oogie Boogie anymore. He just hated, absolutely despised, being stuck like this.

"Wow, look at him! I think he'd piss his pants if he could!" Shock taunted, eliciting a laugh from him and his friends.

Junior didn't hear them, didn't hear anything. He was starting to get tunnel vision as he pulled at the restraints. If a Reaper could, he'd probably be hyperventilating. As he jerked harder and harder against the bond, he felt his fear giving way more and more to anger, to rage.

They lied to him, stole him, mocked him, wanted to hurt him, and they bound him!

He stropped yanking against the straps and just kept pulling and straining.

"Oh, that's cute. Just hold that pretty skull still while I get to work," Oogie Boogie taunted as he brought his instrument down to crack open the skull of the Prince of Death.

It cracked instantly.

"What the?" Oogie Boogie said in surprise as he looked at the cut and really, well, it wasn't a cut at all! Instead of white bone, he was now look at black...scales?

"Umm, Mister Oogie Boogie?" Shock spoke up in concern, getting the boogieman's attention as she pointed to Junior's left hand.

Scales were growing over it as well, with claws to match, but more importantly? The bindings holding the limb were beginning to rot and dissolve before his very eyes.

"Uh-Oh."

That was all Oogie got to say before the hand was free and Junior instinctively snatched out at him, slashing the cloth that was Oogie's body.

"My bugs! You little wretch! My precious bugs!" Oogie yelled in pain and rage as he held the wound and tried to keep the bugs from falling out.

Junior paid him no mind, nor did he question his transformation as he used his claws to rip away his remaining bond, standing with an almost feral fury on the table.

"Oh, man, he didn't say he could do that!" Barrel exclaimed as the trio backed away in fear.

They froze as Junior rounded on them, his claws flexing. He had no idea what was going on, but he was mad and he felt like beating and tearing something up. And for the first time in his unlife, he felt like maybe he could do that.

Oogie Boogie, however, used the distraction to pull a leaver. "Let's see you cut your way through this, bone-boy!" Oogie taunted angrily as the many casino-based machines came to like, mock-soldiers emerging and firing very real bullets towards Junior.

Junior winced as the bullets impacted on him. They didn't break anything, but they hurt and packed a punch. He fell over and off the table, giving him some convenient cover when he flipped it on its side.

"Dammit, what do I do now?" he murmured as the bullets passed above and beside him. He tried not to wonder too hard about what was happening to him, he'd ask his parents later. They'd know why he had scales, claws, and...and...

A wing?

Junior starred owlishly at the leathery wing that stuck out of his right shoulder, having ripped through his sweater without him noticing. Experimentally, he held it up over the top of the cover and felt the bullets bouncing harmlessly off it. "...I can work with that."

Using the wing to cover himself as a shield, Junior leapt out from behind the table and began running towards the machines firing at him.

"Whatcha going to do, tiny bones!" Oogie called out mockingly.

Junior wasn't entirely sure, but he could see that the machines couldn't move too much, so hiding behind them might be safe. With that in mind, he jumped forth...

...and was rather surprised when he jumped at least eight feet into the air, going right by one of the machines. It was clumsy, but he managed to swipe his claws at its pistol-arm and cleave it off, rending through metal and wood like it was clay. He landed behind another of the shooters; while the ones around him couldn't do an about face, the ones on the other side of the room were still able to take shots at him.

"Well, this is only slightly better," Junior murmured in frustration.

"Have at ye, Knave!"

"Who and what you?!" Oogie Boogie screamed in frustrations.

"Boss, it's the boneheads sister!" one of the tricktreaters yelled.

Junior blinked, peaking up from cover to see that Minnie was indeed here, as was Zoro. Only...when did Minnie get a sword? And were her eyes green?

He gaped as Minnie literally dodged bullets, slicing down one of the machines with very little effort, all the machines stopping as Oogie Boogie looked at her in annoyed confusion.

"I shall give ye but a single chance! Return my brother, swine, and ye may keep your wretched lives!" Minnie declared, pointing her saber at Oogie Boogie.

"Grrr, keep shootin! We'll tear'em both apart!" Oogie Boogie ordered.

Junior was forced to duck down again for a moment, but he very clearly saw Minnie destroying the robots with ease...and claws.

"When the Hell did Minnie get demon powers?!" Junior exclaimed, more bewildered than anything now.

"Ruff, Ruff!"

The Prince of Death looked to the side and saw Zero, ignoring all bullets as a ghost dog was want to do, flying over to his cover with a small bone in his rib. "Hey boy, you led Minnie here? And is that my rib?" Junior asked, taking it from the rather happy hound, placing it back in his ribcage. "Thank- BURP!" Junior stopped, starring as he realized a puff of flames came out of his mouth.

He could breathe fire?

Experimentally, he blew out another wisp and was rewarded by more fire.

He could breathe fire!

Junior looked to the equally amazed Zero and made a decision. "I'm not even going to question it anymore."

"What's a matter, bone boy!? Need little sis to save you from the big bad Oogie Boogie Man!?" Oogie called out in taunt.

Junior growled as he leapt up from his cover. "Vernevul Vau!" he exclaimed harshly, a long jet of fire erupting from his skull.

Oogie Boogie screamed and began running as the arm of his sack-body caught fire.

"...Brother!?" Minnie called in shock and joy. She also now had a tail, wings, and some tentacles in her back.

Yeah, those were Nergal powers.

Junior didn't answer, instead deciding to burn the machines to his left and right with quick breaths of flames, rendering them as burning and melting garbage within short order.

Minnie took this time to fly over to him. "Brother, it warms my heart to see you art well, yet..." she looked over his arm, the scales on his skull, the wing in his back, and- why was she looking down?

He followed her gaze and saw he now had a small, scaly black tail.

He met her gaze and matched her confusion. "I have no idea," he answered, eyeing her extra, demonic appendages. "Dont' tell me you just got those too?"

"Ummmm..." Minnie paused. "Tis a long tale."

Something creaked and broke, prompting them to realize Junior's fire was spreading to the rest of the clubhouse.

"Yeah, not the time," Junior realized in alarm, looking around for a way out.

"Brother, up there is where I made mine entrance!" Minnie called, pointing up to a pipe high up near the ceiling.

"Great, time to see if I can jump that good," Junior said, preparing to do just that.

"WAIT!" Lock yelled as he and his friends ran up to the siblings. "Take us with you!"

"...Should we?" Junior asked to Minnie.

"Should we not?" Minnie countered in bewilderment.

"Well, they did kidnap me and were going to let Oogie cut my skull open," Junior explained.

"Ah. Good fortune with this inferno," Minnie said curtly, about to fly up now.

"Please! We're sorry! Really!" Shock pleaded.

"Yeah! So sorry! The most sorry ever!" Barrel tried to appeal.

Junior just stared at them before sighing in annoyance. "We'll get you up to the pipe, get the rest of the way yourself."

"We can do that! Thanks!" Lock said urgently.

With some reluctance, Minnie helped the trouble makers up to the pipe while Junior managed to jump up to the pipe by using a few areas of the wall as platforms. By the time he got up, Minnie had the last one on the pipe. "Okay, now let's get- hey!" Junior exclaimed as Lock suddenly pushed him off the pipe.

"That's for the clubhouse, you crybaby!" Lock yelled as the three scurried up the pipe.

"Brother, I have...you?" Minnie started to dive after Junior, only to stop as she saw Junior rising back up on his own.

Only now, he was flying with two wings.

He looked to the newest limb with a gobsmacked expression before staring down at the ground. "...I have no idea how I'm flying," he said slowly, clearly a bit concerned he would suddenly fall out of the air.

Minnie smiled, slowly starting to giggle and then laugh.

"Come on, it's not funny!" Junior yelled indignantly. "Was flying this easy for you?!"

"Nay, my face had many intimate meetings for the ground, so count thine fortunes," Minnie said with mirth. "No, come, let us depart. Our family must be worried and...have some secrets that require elaboration."

Junior agreed as he followed Minnie out through he pipe. While the heat from the fire downstairs wasn't bothering Junior, he could see Minnie was starting to sweat. By the time they reached the end of the pipe, something must have ruptured from the fire, because an explosion rocked the house and they could see flames outside the windows.

Sharing a look, they silently agreed to make a quick exit through the window, soaring out into the night sky as the clubhouse continued to burn. Minnie's flight was graceful and elegant while Junior's was more direct and stiff.

"So...you came to save me?" Junior started awkwardly as they soared through the night sky.

"Of course, Mine Brother. I could not bear to see a single mark upon thine skull," Minnie said with a smile, the green eyes on her Nergal wings appearing to eye-smile in a strange way.

"I...well, thanks," Junior said with some embarrassment.

"Yee seemed to be fairing most well before mine arrival," Minnie congratulated.

"If I had known I could breathe fire, I would have been out of there a lot sooner!" Junior exclaimed with a grin. "How long have you been hiding the demon thing? Cause I didn't know about my dragon thing."

Minnie winced at the annoyance in his voice. "A few years now, when I first developed the need to control them as my beast can require a harsh hand to keep control of."

Junior hummed, trying not to feel bitter, but only had partial success. "I guess that's why Uncle Nergal is with you so much, training you?"

"There is that, yes," Minnie answered softly.

"But you didn't know I could do..." Junior flapped his wings and rising a bit higher. "Any of this?"

"Nay, I am as much surprised as you are," Minnie said, looking Junior over as he soared against the moonlit night.

"...What?" Junior asked awkwardly as Minnie stared longer than needed.

She blushed in embarrassment. "Mine apologize, tis just...ye powers soot you. They look well on you."

Junior started at that and nearly fell out of the sky, but recovered before Minnie could even express her worry. "R-right, thanks, I guess."

Prince and Princess of the Underworld soared through the night sky, curious yet each feeling as though a great tension between them had vanished. Minnie found it comforting to no longer be considered a bane by her brother, Junior found it releiving to feel much of the bitterness in his soul towards his sister flowing away.

Now he just had to figure out how he had draconic powers.

End of Chapter

Okay, so yeah, that's the first chpater. Junior has dragon powers. And its kind of obvious why he has them, but that's a story for next chapter. Not much to say about this. Hope you all enjoyed it and I'm glad to be writing GT again. Hoepfully I can stick with it.
