Meeting Professor Fig in his office in the morning, I walked in to see him talking with Professor Sharp who turned to see me and announced my arrival as he excused himself.

Watching him walk out the door, I turned to Fig as his office door shut, "Sir- I was able to search the Restricted Section while you were with Professor Black. It was a book we were after!" I explained as he looked to me surprised.

"What? But- how?" He asked before shaking his head, "Thinking on it, perhaps it's best you spare me the details."

"I would spare you the details, however I was caught by Peeves, I have detention later with Madam Scribner." I stated rocking myself on my heels to my toes looking away from him,

"This is exactly why I said it would've been best to wait for word from me, I would've been able to get you access without consequences," he sighed shaking his head,

"I'm sorry Professor, I was only trying to help." I bowed my head.

"Well, what's done is done, let's have a look!" he asked as I pulled out the book I found, he opened it and flipped through the pages to find there were some pages torn out. "Oh, dear. Some of these pages seem to be missing. It appears someone has got to the book before us."

"Still, I will need time to study what remains, perhaps we can still salvage something useful, though it may take some time. I wonder why it was here, below Hogwarts." He leaned back in his chair in thought.

I explained the memories I saw when I found the book, "Although, I didn't start as a fifth-year like the girl in the second memory."

"Yes, but I'm not sure that matters. I suppose we will find out eventually, perhaps this book will explain. I'll have to take it with me to London. The Headmaster has insisted that I speak directly to the Minister about George's death."

"I understand, I'll see what I can learn about the missing pages while you're gone." I smiled as he nodded,

"Don't neglect your studies, I'd rather not come back to you getting another detention." he smiled as I nodded sighing before leaving his office.

Heading to my first class of the day which was Beasts class, standing next to Poppy at our table Professor Howin began her lecture.

I felt like someone staring at me the whole time during class, Poppy turned to me as we were headed to care for the kneazles, "Your sister is giving you a death stare," she stated giving a blank expression.

"Just ignore her, she doesn't deserve the attention." I stated smiling at her, as we started walking I ended up tripping from something on the ground,

"Oh Katherine, how's the view from down there? Such a klutz." Kalista laughed as a few others joined in, I glared at her before getting up and brushing myself off.

"Must be such a shame that the only way you can get others to look up to you, is to trip them." I stated smirking at her,

"Well at least I don't lie to myself," Kalista crossed her arms,

"I'm not the one lying to myself, at least I don't have to put others down to feel good about myself." I argued back before walking away with Poppy following me.

"You shouldn't let her get under your skin." Poppy commented,

"I know, she's such a-" I groaned,

"Believe me, I know." Poppy agreed, we began taking care of the kneazles.

Class was dismissed as Poppy and I went our separate ways I found myself being pulled by the wrist into the girls restroom, turning to find Kalista looking at me.

"What is your problem?" I glared a her,

"What's my problem? You are, of course." she laughed,

"No, you don't like the fact I don't need you anymore." I crossed my arms,

"You do need me, you will always need me!" she frowned shouting at me.

"I have classes to get to, I don't have time for your temper tantrum." I stated trying to walk past her, she tried to cast Arresto Momentum on me, cancelling out her spell I glared at her, "Kalista, you don't want to do this."

"Nathaniel says I should leave you alone, that I'm being selfish, but you're my twin sister!" she said looking at me teary eyed,

"You were my twin. Maybe if you had a heart, we would still be sisters." I stated ready to defend myself.

"Fine, have it your way," Kalista turned from me, I slowly walked to leave the restroom. "Imperio. You will be my sister again, everyone will see your true colors and remember exactly why they hated you."

Walking into class our arms latched as I laughed at whatever we were talking about, everyone looking to see the two of us like we had been our first year. I turned to Natty, Imelda, Poppy and Penelope as they turned away from me frowning, feeling my eyes water at their response as I tried to fight her control.

Once class was over I tried to get ahead of her, she of course caught up to me and latched her arm with mine again as we made our way to the Great Hall for lunch.

Sitting down with Nathaniel, Oliver, Theo and Kalista, I ate my food in silence not looking to any of them, "Kalista, what did you do?" Nathaniel asked firmly,

"Nothing, I just convinced our dear sister to join us for lunch," she said patting my back.

"More like forced me, I thought you were going to tell her to leave me alone." I stated glaring at him,

"What? How did you?" Kalista turned to me surprised.

"You're too weak, or at least you lack the resolve." I said smirking at her,

"Kalista, you did not seriously try that." Nathaniel held the bridge of his nose,

"Hey Katherine," I turned to see Theo looking at me as he smiled,

"Oh, hi Theo." I said annoyed, but trying to be nice.

"Do you mind if I walk you to your next class?" he asked running a hand through his dirty blonde hair, I raised an eyebrow, 'Yes! Anything to get away from my snake of sister.'

"Not at all," I smiled as I finished eating, "Bye Kalista," I glared at her.

Walking out of the Great Hall I walked with Theo to class, he walked beside me as we reached the Quad Courtyard he grabbed my hand pulling me to a secluded area.

"Hold on, what are you doing Theo?" I asked meeting his eyes in confusion,

"Katherine, I need to get this off my chest," he started taking in a deep breath looking to the ground, "I don't think I'll have another chance."

"To do what?" I watched him nervously as his eyes met mine again,

"I've had feelings for you since we met," he said, I looked to him in shock, "Before you had eyes for my pathetic and idiotic brother."

"I'm really sorry, Theo, but I don't feel the same. I'm not really looking for a relationship right now, I'm sure there is another girl that feels the way you do, but I'm not her." I looked to the ground, "I have to go."

I turned away from him walking away, making my way to class I sat down taking everything in that happened in the last 24-hours. Confusion and anger washing over me, I took a deep breath before focusing on the lecture and taking notes.

After my last class I made my way to the Library, "Ah, hello, Ms. Belouise," she smiled,

"Hello Madam Scribner, what would you like me to do for my detention?" I asked looking to her at her desk.

"I've got a cart here," she spoke as I watched her pull it out to me, "I'd like you to put them all away,"

I nodded, "Yes, ma'am." I took the cart and started looking through to find where the first book went, hearing someone else walk in behind me.

"Ah, Mr. Sallow, were you not able to talk yourself out of this one?" Scribner asked him sounding amused,

"What are you going to have me do?" he asked as I walked to put a few books away as our eyes met.

"You and Ms. Belouise can take care of that cart, but don't think about talking to one another." Scribner instructed him as I came back to get more books.

I noticed Sebastian follow me with some books looking at the bookcase I was at, "Ominis informed me about your strange behavior with Kalista," he whispered, I didn't turn to him, "She used an Unforgivable on you, didn't she?"

"I have no idea what you are talking about," I said continuing to put books away,

"You can trust me," he said as I turned to him,

"Sebastian, we're going to get in trouble." I said turning to look at the cart, "We should finish taking care of these books."

He sighed turning away from me to grab more books, I continued putting books away before I knew it we were walking back to the common room. He walked off towards where I saw Ominis and Anne, I walked over to an empty couch in front of the fireplace.

"Am I interrupting your train of thought?" I heard Nathaniel's voice as I turned to him sitting next to me, I turned back to the fireplace, "Kalista was out of line, I talked to her."

"You two were supposed to leave me alone, that was the deal." I stated glaring at the fire,

"I understand, she just misses you is all." he said, I laughed,

"I hope she's miserable for the hell she's put me through, I don't give a damn if she misses me." I turned to him angrily.

"I agree she shouldn't have done what she did, but you are our sister." he argued,

"Family or not, I won't forgive her or you. You made your choice when you two decided to delve into the Dark Arts and forced it on me." I lowered my voice turning away from him.

"What happened with Theo earlier? He seemed to be rather cross after walking you to class." he asked,

"He cornered me in the Quad courtyard, confessing to me and I rejected him." I explained staring at the fire.

"That explains a lot," he laughed,

"Are we done talking?" I asked looking to him,

"I wanted to know what is going on with you and Sallow, heard you two got detention." he said as I turned to where he'd disappeared.

"Nothing, we're just friends. What does it matter to you?" I raised an eyebrow,

"Just curious, it doesn't seem that way," he smirked as I glared at him as he got up to walk away, "Bye sis."

I sighed in relief when he finally walked away, leaning back on the couch looking to the ceiling taking a few deep breaths, "Where's your sister? Thought for sure you'd be with her," I turned to Imelda standing by the couch.

"She blackmailed me," I explained,

"I hoped it was something like that, you made me think you were back to your old ways." she said looking to the ground.

"There's no way I would ever be nice to her on purpose." I laughed, "She can go fuck herself." I said under my breath looking to her,

"Something I agree with," she laughed sitting next to me. "Poppy and Penelope thought something was up, Natty refused to believe you had changed."

"I guess I better go find the three of them and explain," I said looking to her, "I'll see you later,"

"Yeah, I'll see you later." Imelda nodded as I stood up walking away from her.

I took a deep breath walking out of the common room, making my way through Central Hall I looked to the ground, running into someone I looked up seeing Garreth holding his hand out.

"Are you alright, Katherine?" I took his hand as he helped me up,

"Thank you, I just have a lot on my mind." I smiled rubbing the back of my neck,

"If you, um, ever need to talk, I'd be happy to listen." he gave a grin, as I nodded.

"Thanks, Garreth." I said smiling at him before continuing to find Poppy and Penelope in the greenhouse tending to plants, "Can we talk?" I asked as they looked to me.

"What happened after Beasts class?" Poppy crossed her arms turning to me, "It was as if between classes you'd become the person you were in first-year."

I lowered my eyes to my hands nervously, "Kalista decided to corner me in the restroom, blackmailing me into being nice to her." I lied, hoping they would believe me.

"What did she blackmail you with?" Penelope looked to me,

"She threatened to lie to Professor Garlick that I was the one to use a Herbicide potion on the plants." I informed them, which wasn't a lie, she'd threatened to do that third-year after I caught her and Oliver in the Greenhouse.

"That was your sister, it took us forever to fix all the damage." Penelope looked shocked,

"I felt so horrible lying, I did everything I could to help." I covered my face,

"I'm not surprised, from torturing muggle born to kneazles, and everyone in between, your siblings are a menace." Poppy interjected.

"We'll fill Natty in, she headed back to her common room for the night." Penelope smiled at me,

"Thank you," I smiled at her, "I honestly feel better telling you two, now if only I could figure out this boy situation."

"Ooh, my type of gossip!" Penelope smirked as I felt my face get hot, "What is this boy situation you speak of?"

"Well, there's been this weird thing between Sebastian and I, and then I was confessed to-"

"You have two boys interested in you?" Poppy asked looking to me surprised,

"Sebastian hasn't confessed to me," I said looking to them, "Theo Bergeous, Oliver's older brother cornered me in the Viaduct courtyard and confessed to me."

"Oliver's brother, he's in Ravenclaw," Penelope thought before looking to me shocked, "No way, what did you say?"

"I told him the same thing I told Sebastian, I'm not looking for a relationship." I said looking to them as she gave me a bored look,

"No. You. Didn't." Penelope looked to me disappointed before groaning out angrily.

"I'm sorry?" I looked to her confused, turning to Poppy who only shrugged in confusion,

"Cause he's one of the hottest sixth-years!" she argued, I looked to her utterly shocked,

"I'm not going to be with someone for such a shallow reason." I countered, crossing my arms while shaking my head at her.

"I agree with Katherine, looks only go so far." Poppy stated as Penelope turned to her,

"You got to at least admit he's got a nice face!" Penelope looked to us, Poppy and I laughed at her desperation to not be the only one attracted to him.
