In a secluded corner of England, the quiet was shattered by unsettling screams emanating from an abandoned shed. As the echoes of despair faded, a slender figure emerged from the darkness that swallowed the shed's interior.
His hair was wild and white, his gray eyes bore an intensity that barely concealed the turmoil he felt. He was dressed in a long-sleeved blue outfit with pants, contrasting with red stains. Observing his bloodied hands, he murmured in self-reproach: "What have I done..."
Above in the sky hovered Light, who, after using the 'Spatial Travel' ability for the first time, was confronted with the scene of Near and, alongside him, Mello on the brink of death.
'Hahahaha! Amazing, it really worked!'
Light had to admit that he wasn't entirely confident in the ability, but seeing the result before him, he couldn't restrain his inner satisfaction. And to top it off, he gained 300 Fortune points for Mello's indirect death.
'Interesting... It seems that Mello was a piece with a lot of luck on the board.'
Light hadn't witnessed this situation firsthand, so it was a pleasant surprise when it unfolded before his eyes. But sensing the aura emanating from Near, or rather, Nate River, Light noticed that his Fortune was even more impressive than Mello's, reaching 350 points.
'Should I finish him off as well?' His eyes narrowed in calculation. It was rare to find someone with so much Fortune who wasn't a Chosen by Fortune or heroines, although Near had his own prominence in Death Note.
After pondering for a moment, Light made a swift move, tearing a rift in space and extracting the Death Note. With a fixed gaze on Nate River, he began to write.

As the clock neared nine in the evening, Light emerged through 'Spatial Travel'.
The energy expenditure for such a feat was minimal, considering he hadn't traveled a distance as vast as that between planets.
Feeling the familiar aura of Light, Himari quickly approached him. "You're back!" She exclaimed, her face lighting up. "Welcome back, young master."
A smile formed on Light's lips, who, drawing near, wrapped his arms around Himari's waist and sealed his return with a kiss. "I'm back," he murmured against her lips.
Pulling away, Himari couldn't help but notice a peculiar detail. "And this black cat? What happened?"
"She was run over. I saved her," Light briefly explained. "But I'll share the details later."
Himari nodded, not pressing further. Even if the cat seemed ordinary at first glance, she felt something different in her, something that didn't resemble an ayakashi. However, she trusted that Light would clarify her curiosities later.
Upon entering his residence, Light was greeted by the attentive Himari, who assisted him in removing his coat and switching his shoes for cozier slippers.
"Are you hungry, young master?" Himari inquired with a watchful gaze.
"Just a bit," Light replied, handing her the black kitten he carried.
Cradling the feline in her arms, Himari asked, "What is this little one's name?"
Light hesitated for a moment, gliding his hand over the kitten's soft head, which responded with a gentle meow. "Her name is Chocola," he finally disclosed.
"Chocola... I see. Relax, young master, I'll look after her while you eat," Himari stated, her voice melodic and captivating.
"Thank you." With a grateful smile, Light headed to the kitchen. However, a strange feeling overcame him. The familiarity of an aura he couldn't identify.
'Whose energy is this?' Light wondered.
He had felt this presence before, but now it seemed more intense within the house. It was a presence unfamiliar to him.
'It's probably nothing. If it were something to worry about, Himari would have alerted me,' Light internally concluded.
"Has Light-sama arrived?"
The voice questioning Himari had a distinct and unmistakable quality.
Her voice was soft and melodious, reminiscent of a bell gently rung. It seemed she was always humming a silent song. Her speech conveyed calmness, and even in tense moments, her voice remained calm and comforting. Though delicate, her tone revealed the strength and determination hidden within her frailty.
"Asia?" The moment the name crossed his thoughts, the image of Asia vividly flashed in his mind. A flurry of questions hit him: 'When did she come to Japan? And why is she here, in my house?' Although unexpected, Light felt no immediate need to clarify everything.
After grabbing something to eat, he slowly made his way to the living room. There, a stunning sight greeted him: a young woman with long blonde hair and green eyes that shone like emeralds. Asia's transformation from a simple 2D character to a three-dimensional reality was exactly as he had imagined.
"Light-sama, is it you?" Seeing Light confirm with a nod, she continued with a tone that evoked familiarity, but also carried a sense of unfamiliarity: "I'm Asia Argento. I hope I'm not intruding."
"Light, you know... I found Asia a bit lost and thought we could help her. Our house is so big and we have many empty rooms. You don't mind, right?" Lala said, blinking with her characteristic innocence and a sweet smile shining on her lips.
Light cast a glance at Lala and then to Asia, taking in the full picture. "If Lala decides to invite, I wholeheartedly accept. Make yourself at home, Asia-chan."
Witnessing Light's warm smile, Asia blushed slightly, returning the gesture. She wasn't accustomed to such cordiality. Since her arrival, everyone had been surprisingly kind, making the experience feel almost surreal to her.
'By the way, I wonder if Eva will arrive on Monday...' A peculiar smile curved on his lips as he thought of a certain girl.
"Young master?" Noticing the sudden smile on his face, Himari Noihara inquired with a hint of curiosity in her voice.
"Mm?" Light raised an eyebrow in response, his smile fading.
Realizing the change, Himari Noihara felt taken aback. Her violet eyes sought to understand Light's sudden mood shift, and her expression reflected concern and confusion about her young master's state.
As Light began to eat, Asia and the others stopped speaking.
Later, Light said to Himari, "As promised, I will enter the special training room and take you with me, Himari."
"Of course, young master~" Her voice was soft and sweet. She could hardly wait to spend several months in an isolated place with the young master all to herself!
Light smiled as if he could see right through her thoughts.
"Light-sama, do you need me to do anything while I'm here? I can do household chores, at least I can do that while I'm here." Asia, who looked up to him, said with her sweet and gentle voice.
Light thought for a moment, and then said, "Okay. Himari does most of it, if you want, you can help her." He added, "Also, just call me Light. There's no need for 'sama'."
"I prefer to maintain respect," Asia humbly replied.
"Uh, if you insist." Light stopped caring.
"Yes, I do." Asia nodded several times.
"Fufufu~ Light-sama, are you happy about having such a lovely blonde, light-eyed girl as a tenant in your home?" Akeno asked with a presumptuous look while her voice was teasing.
"I won't complain." Light responded, looking at her and teasingly said, "If you'd like, I'd love for you to become my tenant too, or perhaps even my personal maid."
"Ara." With a mischievous smile, Akeno leaned in and said challengingly: "Fufu~ Promise me interesting nights, and I might consider your offer, Light-sama~"
Locking eyes with hers, he challenged, "Perhaps the real question is: are you ready for the nights I can offer?"
A subtle blush colored her cheeks. Crossing her arms and casting a sly look, she teased, "I hope your nighttime skills are as sharp as your tongue, Light-sama~"
"Don't worry, I'm incredibly skilled with my tongue," Light ambiguously replied.
A playful, amused look in her eyes, she responded, "You know how to keep a lady intrigued. I hope your actions are as intriguing as your words."
With a commanding posture and a serene expression, Rias interrupted, "Akeno, show some restraint. Light, don't get caught up in her provocations."
"Ara, ara." Twirling a strand of her hair between her fingers and smiling seductively, Akeno remarked, "I don't know what you're talking about, Rias. I'm the picture of innocence."
Raising an eyebrow, Light observed, "I like challenges, Rias. And Akeno... Senpai offers quite an interesting one."
"I'm starting to think I should prepare a separate room just for the two of you to continue this... 'game'," Rias sarcastically commented.
"Okay, I'll do that now." Light turned to Himari, "Himari, prepare a room for Akeno and me!"
"Fufufu~ So impatient~" With her characteristic laughter, Akeno seemed to enjoy the little storm she had created with her words.
"You two... Seriously..." Rias let out a sigh.
"Understood, young master. And rest assured, I'll make sure the room is soundproofed," she proposed, with a sly smile.
"Akeno, Light, seriously, you two are like oil and water. And Himari! Don't feed into this mess!" Rias raised her voice, visibly irritated, but with a faint smile forming on her lips.
"Hahahaha!"
As one started laughing, it quickly spread, making everyone in the house give in to laughter, including Kiba, who enjoyed the scene.
Twirling one of her long braids with her finger and laughing, Lala commented, "You all are so fun~!" Soon she jumped excitedly. "If everyone's staying together, I want in too! Pajama party room~!"
Hearing her, everyone stopped laughing and gave her a surprised look.
