"And after Cosmic Star's overwhelming victory in the last event, it's time for the battles for today!" Mato exclaimed.

"I don't like the way these games are headed so far…" Cynthia mumbled to herself as she looked at the scoreboard.

"Something's not right about all of this…" Romeo said while tapping his chin, unaware to the cheating going on from Cosmic Star, but he knew they were up to something.

"I don't know what's happening…but we aren't too far from first, we'll pick it up, I believe in you," Mavis said while giving a smile to the members of Fairy Tail.

"Heh, back in first, as we should be." Reve said as a cocky grin appeared on his face. "Not bad, Taya, not bad," Reve nodded, showing appreciation to Taya and her efforts. "You really did some work out there."

"It wasn't anything too difficult, Reve," Taya said while giving a slight smile to the gunslinger.

"D'awwwww…." Nami and Jaxon said in unison, thus running the soon to be moment for the two S class wizards.

"…." Reve merely shrugged, not allowing the two mages to ruin the mini moment.

"Slowly making our way up the latter, always very nice," Gaia nodded a few times.

"We're gonna win!" Hiruka cheered.

"What an irritating buncha…" Evanee started, but she stopped herself, letting out a sigh after.

"69 points I call hacks…" Rylo stated.

"It didn't go as well as we hoped, but we're still in this," Alexander replied.

"We still have our match and tomorrow to get ahead," Flynn nodded.

"Now, it's time for the first match of Day 3, kabo!" Mato exclaimed, causing the crowd to roar.

"It'll be interesting to see the kinds of fighting that will occur today…" Lahar said with obvious interest in his voice as he used his index finger to push up his glasses.

"For the first match, we have White Eclipse's Kuro Crane vs. Mermaid Heels Arana Webb-kabo!" Mato nodded.

"You're up, Kuro!" Reve said while patting the red haired mage on the back a few times.

"Don't worry guys, I'll take care of it!" Kuro said with a nod and a smile, walking off to the arena.

"Looks like your pal is up, Dait," Kiora said while nudging the demon slayer.

"His opponent is trash," Dait replied. "But, this will be a good way of seeing if he has been improving…"

"Another fire mage? Those have been popping up like flies lately…" Zancrow growled while crossing his arms.

"He's a fire mage!" Kagura shouted to the web mage as she stood across from Kuro.

"Are both fighters ready-kabo?" Mato asked as he looked to Kuro, and then Arana.

"Ready!" Kuro nodded, a grin forming on his face.

"Ready," Arana said while a serious expression adopted onto her face.

"Then begin!" Mato exclaimed, and a bell rang, signifying the start of the battle.

To start off, Arana thought it would be a good idea to immobilize Kuro by pointing her hands forward, firing off a sticky web that wrapped around Kuro's feet. "Got'cha!"

"Heh…" Kuro merely smirked as the webs wrapped around his feet, and he clapped his hands together, a red magic seal appearing as flaming wings appeared on his feet, burning through the webs. "Fire Make: Hermes!"

"W-What!?" Arana's eyes widened somewhat, but she immediately tried to fire off another web to trap Kuro, but the fire make mage was too fast for Arana to keep up with, so she ended up missing.

"Fire Make: Knuckle!" Kuro exclaimed, pulled his arm back as flames engulfed it. He then used his momentum to slug Arana across her jawline, sending the web mage flying back, hitting the ground in KO.

"One shot!?" Lahar's eyes widened.

"Hmm…" Dait eyed Kuro, feeling rather impressed with the results. "One hit was all he needed…and just what I was expecting."

"N-No way…" Milliana's eyes widened somewhat.

"One hit…" Melody shook her head slowly.

"And with that, White Eclipse goes from 40 to 50-kabo!" Mato nodded.

"Heh, great job, Kuro," Reve said while patting the mage on the back.

"Thanks!" Kuro grinned. "All that training with Dait is really paying off!"

.

"Onto the next match, kabo! Lamia Scale's Chelia Blendy vs. Cosmic Star's Mangus!" Mato exclaimed.

"The know it all…" Luke rolled his eyes.

"I'm ready!" Chelia nodded, a look of determination appearing on her face.

"Already know the outcome of this match…" Magnus sighed. "But, ten points is ten points." With a nod, he and Chelia walked into the center of the arena just a few feet apart.

"I wonder if she'll show any signs of improvement…." Diana wondered while tapping her chin with her index finger.

"There's only one way to really tell…" Blake nodded.

"What did you to do to the sky bloke, eh?" Maggie asked in a curious tone.

"You'll see soon enough…" Diana nodded.

"Are both fighters, ready-kabo?" Mato asked.

"Ready!" Chelia nodded.

"Ready," Magnus said in an indifferent tone.

"Begin!"

"The Sky God slayer vs….I…I don't really know what his magic is..." Chapati started, tilting his head slowly.

"Neither do I…I suppose we'll be seeing some of it today then…" Yajima nodded.

Magnus stared at Chelia calmly, his green eyes flashing a bit as he used his Foresight to get a read into the battle, and her future. All to see how she would attack and prepare himself to avoid it "I will be sure to end this battle swiftly..." But as he said that, his eyes then widened. What he was seeing in store for Chelia... "W-Wha...? This is...!?"

Chelia didn't know what Magnus' deal was, but she sprinted ahead and propelled herself into a front flip, black wind surrounding her leg. "Sky Arrow!" She flew forward, shocking everyone present as she landed a hit on the stunned Magnus. Her foot collided against his cheek, causing him to slide backwards from the impact. She didn't stop there, cheeks inflating as she lurched her head forward. "And Sky God's Bellow!" A torrent of black wind exploded from her mouth, completely overtaking Magnus while blowing him away from the process.

"Gah!" Magnus grunted as he tumbled along the ground, noticeable bruises and injuries appearing on his body from the two direct hits.

"And Chelia starts off strong!" Chapati exclaimed.

"Hey, what the hell!?" Takeru grunted angrily. It didn't even look like Magnus tried to dodge that, but that didn't even explain the shocked expression on the man's face.

"What's going on...?" Mavis tilted her head. "Did he...see something...?"

"Hey, Magnus! What's up!?" Daryan exclaimed. Nobody at Cosmic Star had ever seen Magnus take a hit like that, especially without even moving.

"Magnus. Stop fooling around!" Karma yelled. "You're making a mockery of us!"

"..." Sting narrowed his eyes at the way Karma shouted at Magnus.

Magnus stood up quickly, shaking off the impact. Chelia was clearly waiting for his reprisal, knowing full well she couldn't stay on the offense forever. She had no idea what Magnus was capable of; hardly anyone did. "...What's his move..." But when she saw that he wasn't moving, she did decide to attack again. Only this time, Magnus was evading the punches and kicks thrown at his directly, knowing precisely where and when they would come from.

"Oh...I see what's going on now." Daityas chuckled. "I know exactly who that man is."

"Who is he?" Tobias asked.

'Shut the hell up, Tobias." Ruika scoffed. "Who is he?"

"Who is he?" Luke asked Calium, who said the same thing Daityas did.

"A long time ago, there were a clan of wizards that could directly see into the future." Calium explained. "A very strong magic power. They could alter events however they see fit, or even ensure things played out exactly as they wanted. Such a magic spread among so many people was simply too powerful, some people thought."

"So what, they got wiped out something? How can you get wiped out if you can see the future?" Takeru scoffed.

"You'd think that to be the case, but Takeru, remember one thing..." Calium's voice lowered as he was about to deliver a very serious piece of reality. "No matter how hard some may try, there are some things that can never, ever be prevented. That is exactly what those who could see the future realized at some point. Their lives were in danger, and no matter what they may try, the end would come for them. They were all wiped out, and the power to see into the future was lost. At least...so the world thought. I had no idea myself until Magnus stepped into our guild a little while ago."

"It kind of feels like cheating to know what his magic is without figuring it out ourselves." Aira said sheepishly. As she did, Chelia fired a Sky God's Boreas at Magnus, but he was able to cleanly dodge the widespread attack.

"They never would've said anything." Calium said with a slight chuckle. "They had no reason to let their opponent know of their trump card. In fact, it's probably something he would've kept hidden until his dying breath."

"But what's that got to do with right now?" Zain questioned.

It clicked for Cygnus. "...He must've seen something about that girl he didn't like. Something so horrible it made him freeze."

"Why isn't he fighting back!?" Karma snarled. "MAGNUS!"

"Tch..." Magnus stared at Chelia. It was a stalemate because he had yet to attack, while Chelia's attacks stopped landing after the first two.

As for Chelia, she was panting a bit. The longer this fight on, the stranger she felt. Something was...welling up inside of her. "What's this feeling...I..." It felt like it was weighing her down. It was an internal sensation that she couldn't explain.

"That's it..." Diana commented with a sinister smile. "Let the power well up within you...you're so close..."

"I have to end this NOW!" Magnus thought to himself as he finally took the offensive. This was the moment he was waiting for, and a golden light formed within his left hand. A large, blazing sword roared to life within his grip as he neared Chelia. "Fire Sword II!" Chelia saw this coming, but for some reason, her body wasn't responding. Magnus slammed the sword down onto Chelia, where a large pillar of fire erupted from contact. Chelia let out a cry of pain as the flames consumed her. When the pillar of flames died down...

"Chelia Blendy is down!" Chapati reported.

"Chelia!" Wendy's eyes were wide. She and Sherry were very concerned and rushed to her.

"..." Magnus let out a shaky breath and began to walk off.

"Ah…that's my boy…" Karma said with a smirk while Magnus walked off.

"...What on earth was that...?" Gaia mumbled. With the exception of Karma, Cosmic Star was completely and utterly shocked at the display before them.

"These burns and injuries are way too serious…we're gonna have to take her to the infirmary and work on her there!" Aira shouted.

"Let's hurry…." Wendy nodded slowly, she and Aira slowly picking up Chelia and rushed to the infirmary.

"Magnus, what the hell, man!?" Daryan rushed over to Magnus along with Yakuza.

"That was...unlike you." Yakuza said, putting it lightly.

"...I have to apologize to that girl later." Magnus placed his hand on his forehead and let out a heavy sigh. "I just...I saw her future. It was disturbing. I haven't seen a future like what I witnessed before. It stunned me and I had no choice but to put her down before things got to that point."

Yakuza and Daryan looked at each other. "You...tried to change her future with that fight?" Daryan asked.

Magnus shook his head, eyes closed. "No, I...that's the thing. That girl's future is pitch black. I hate that have to say this, but...I have no idea if my actions helped or made things worse. All I knew was, if I allowed things to continue as they did, I would've lost."

A tense, heavy silence filled the air after that...

"W-With that…Cosmic Star gains ten points, bumping them from 34 points to 44, kabo!" Mato nodded slowly. "I think we can have the next fight while we're at it…aheheh…Fairy Tail's Natsu Dragneel vs. Sabertooth's Orga Nanagear!"

"Alright! Let's go!" Natsu rushed to the arena, but he still had what just happened, in his mind. At present, there was nothing he could do about it. Instead, he just had to focus on winning for Fairy Tail.

"I'll make sure to win in the name of Sabertooth!" Orga shouted.

"Heh, be careful…you're up against Natsu-san, and he's a tough opponent…" Sting nodded.

"Are both fighters ready?" Mato asked.

"Heh, ready!" Natsu said with a smirk.

"Ready!" Orga nodded.

"Okay…maybe this one will show some improvement…" Diana hoped.

"Begin!"

.

Within the hallways of the Domus Flau, Heartless and Little Queen were on a transmission with King. "How are things proceeding in Fiore, Heartless?"

"Better than we could've expected, sir." Heartless replied. "These Grand Magic Games are releasing a large amount of magical power. Every single wizard is pouring their all into these fights. Some are stronger than others, but we have gathered plenty of Ethernano over these last three days."

"Ho ho ho ho ho!" King laughed. "This is exactly what I wanted to hear! And there are two days left of this silly competition? They're playing right into our hands!"

"They fight so hard..." Little Queen said with a mesmerized nod. "I can hardly look away from the action. That girl fought so hard for her sister's sake..."

"The action is not what we care about, Little Queen. What we require is magic! So much magic that no one will be able to stop me!" King said. "Report back to me when these Games are over. I wish to see for myself just how much magic Fiore can offer when its very best are fighting it out!"

"Yes, King." Heartless nodded and ended the transmission.

"...Hey." Little Queen looked to Heartless. "That girl from yesterday. Cynthia, was it? Why did she fight so hard for her sister, anyway?"

"..." Heartless took a moment to try and figure out an answer. "I suppose...she was trying to rekindle the connection they had. "That was her response, but she didn't seem very certain of it...

"I see. Do you think Jack and Tia would fight that hard for one another?" Little Queen questioned innocently.

"...I think so." Heartless said with a slow nod.

.

The battle between Orga and Natsu left the two of them pretty wounded. It was clear that they were giving it their all, but time was running out and neither of them wanted to lose. Natsu had no intentions of losing to someone that Laxus could likely beat. He wasn't going to fall behind him. Orga held his hand out, sending a blast of black lightning towards Natsu. "120mm Black Lightning Cannon!"

"Heh…" Natsu's smirk widened as the lightning came in. He knew he couldn't eat it, but he had no intentions to. He merely rolled off to the side, and allowed flames to cover his body, blasting forward head first. "Fire Dragon's Sword Horn!" Natsu exclaimed, ramming into Orga's midsection with great force. The force of the attack sent Orga into the wall; in KO.

"GOOO NATSU!" Cynthia cheered out rather happily.

"That was one heck of a battle." Lahar exclaimed in surprise.

"I give the hell up…" Diana sighed.

"They call themselves God Slayers…? They don't even hold a flame to me…" Zancrow said in a disappointed tone.

"And with that, Fairy Tail goes from 37 to 47!" Mato exclaimed.

"Second place." Natsu nodded.

"It's where you belong too," Takeru said with a smug grin.

"And now it's time for the last fight of the day, Twilight Zone's Taranis Abaddon vs. Quatro Cerber's Rocker!-kabo!" Mato shouted once more, hyping the crowd up as the two combatants walked into the center of the arena. "Are both fighters ready?"

"Ready," Taranis said with a nod.

"Ready!" Rocker shouted.

"You got it, Rocker!" Bacchus shouted.

"Begin!"

Rocker made the first move, darting forward as his entire left leg spun like a drill. He aimed a kick towards Taranis' midsection, but the demon slayer evaded it, and opened his mouth, sending a high powered blast of electricity towards Rocker. "Lightning Demon's Screech!"

"WHOA!?" Rocker's eyes widened as the attack struck, and he hit the ground…in KO.

"And…another one shot…" Chapati blinked a few times.

"…Dammit, Rocker…not wild at all…" Bacchus sighed.

"And…with that…Twilight Zone gains ten points as well, now pushing them from 24 points to 34 points-kabo! Now, let's look at the scoreboard!" Mato looked up to look at the scoreboard, also directing the audience's attention to it.

White Eclipse: 50

Fairy Tail: 47

Cosmic Star: 44

Twilight Zone: 34

Quatro Cerberus: 19

Mermaid Heel: 14

Lamia Scale: 8

Sabertooth: 7

"And that concludes day 3! We will see you all tomorrow for the beginning of day 4!"

"Oh hey, Kagura!" Daryan shouted as the people started to disperse. "I think tonight we can have that little date, eh?" Kagura held in a groan, but she nodded slowly, keeping her end of the agreement as she and the rest of Mermaid Heel walked off.
