Biography:
Eons ago, in the distant planet of Cybertron, Orion Pax was a humble data recording and processing robotic entity. He met the gladiator Megatron (see Servant Profile number forty eight). They bonded despite their incompatible origins, sharing the same basic dream of reforming Cybertron's society. But when the High Council of Cybertron rejected Megatron's radical views in favor of Orion's plans for a pacific global reform, Megatron swore revenge against Orion and rallied the terrorist Decepticons around himself.
The Council retitled Orion as Optimus Prime, the last in a line of thirteen Primes, the leaders of the planet. Optimus, like a spacefaring King Arthur, gathered a squadron of competent warriors around himself, the Autobots, waging war against the Decepticons for millions of years. Eventually, that conflict led the Decepticons to Earth, in a search for the ancient All Spark of Cybertron, and the Autobots gave them chase to that much smaller world.
While regretful about bringing the carnage to a society that was not ready for it, Optimus swore to protect mankind, and the rest of the universe, from the ongoing Deception menace, spilling far from the atmosphere of Cybertron.
Class Skills:
God's Resolution: B
The ability to enact control over a Grail War judiciously disposing of undesired elements disrupting the course of Heaven's Feel. This manifests as seven sets of three command seals each, which allows Ruler to bind Servants of the main classes to her will, granting her three absolute orders per Servant. Ruler may even command a Servant to commit suicide. However, the ability is restricted to only seven Servants at a summon, and should there be two or more Servants of a single class present, Ruler only has domain over one. Additionally, this Skill will not work on Foreigners, Avengers, Moon Cancers, Alter Egos, Gatekeepers, Magical Girls, Shielders, Monsters, Savers, Beasts, Watchers, Fakers (as in the actual Class, we don't mean EMIYA here), Pretenders, Boxers, Ancient Gods, Temptresses, Gunners, or other Rulers.
Ruler is not human, but has grown to love humanity more than most humans themselves love it. Even if the Holy Grail War is not his 'business' technically speaking, he still cares greatly about its outcome. His love for justice may make his sympathies lean towards those bearing noble causes, but he puts those feelings aside to be impartial when ruling over a war.
True Name Discernment: B
The ability gifted to a Ruler of assessing the Class, True Identities, and basic parameters of the Servants fighting in a Grail War by merely looking at them. A type of divine insight, it is limited in the sense that, while all Classes can be identified as such, the True Identities and parameters only can be ascertained in the cases of Sabers, Archers, Lancers, Riders, Casters and Berserkers. Assassins are protected by their Presence Concealment, and the other classes are anomalies that fall beyond Ruler's jurisdiction.
Ruler has large data banks on the stats and particularities of nearly every Servant in existence, barring paradoxic abnormalities. This even extends to Servants of alien origins. He can store even more data as it comes into being, as much as necessary.
Magic Resistance: D+
Ruler has no major experiences prevailing over Earth magic, but he has some innate endurance against supernatural forces due to his connection to the Matrix of Leadership (see below).
Personal Skills:
Transformation: C
A skill shared by all Autobots and Decepticons alike, which allows them to change back and forth from their towering, humanoid forms to alternate forms, generally based on vehicles, beasts or weapons, for purposes ranging from camouflage to direct attack. In the case of Archer Megatron, as seen in his profile, this manifests through his Noble Phantasm.
As a Heroic Spirit, Ruler is limited to changing back and forth from the first form he assumed upon his arrival to Earth, that of a Peterbilt 379 tanker truck. In this form, the mana consumption is halved, and he can remain undetected by other Servants not yet aware of his true identity, as long as he doesn't move on his own without someone driving him.
He also can project a hologram giving him the appearance of a normal human, which cannot fool other Servants, but helps him walk undetected around average humans.
Bravery: A
Ruler has looked into the face of deadly danger thousands of times. He has been torn apart dozens of times and for the most part he did not even flinch while receiving critical damage. This also helps his Battle Continuation (see below). Even if he would have to stare into the eyes of literally divine hostile forces such as planet consumer Omnicron, he will always stand his ground. Rattling and throwing him off balance emotionally is all but impossible.
Battle Continuation: A
Ruler's powerful body is a finely honed device completely designed for carrying out combat in a permanent capacity. He doesn't need rest, recharging himself continuously, through the link to the Master or alternate energy sources in the case of his existence as a Heroic Spirit.
Even if he should receive grievous damage, Ruler will remain on fighting, his performance receiving no penalties until he is on his figurative last legs. Even escape is possible, should Ruler deem it the most desirable course of action. Ruler's tremendous willpower, boosted by his Bravery (see above) pumps his activity on the field of battle to levels that impress his enemies.
Military Tactics: C
Millennia of leading the Autobots in a constant war over control of Cybertron has rendered Ruler a living military encyclopedia with too many battles under his metal belt to count them here. The rank is lowered, ironically enough, because of the length of the war. Since neither side has been able to subdue the other permanently yet, it can be said that the skill mostly covers outcomes up to the degree of stalemating.
The skill is upped to A when commanding squads of living machines.
Charisma: A
Ruler is gifted with a mighty, wise voice to go along his fairly acquired knowledge of sentient ways. He is a leader made through the fire of battle, an inspiration to all those standing under him. He brings out the best in others through his words of encouragement and his advice, and only those stubbornly clinging to the ways of evil are to spite him after knowing him well.
The sole factor lowering the rank slightly is that, much like Artoria Pendragon, Optimus Prime is an extremely straight-laced person, lacking in humor and joviality, and he may come across as cold or detached occasionally. This might make others reluctant to fully bond with him.
Noble Phantasms:
Cyber Caliber- The Star Saber: B
Anti-Unit.
Ruler calls forth the Cybertronian equivalent of Excalibur. Much like it, Cyber Caliber was forged by elder mystical beings millennia ago to defend a planet. It is believed it may actually be the fusion of two different blades attributed to Optimus Prime and the Primes before him, blurred together through their legends, but Ruler is unwilling to share information on the subject.
The sword is as long as Ruler is tall, and it deals twice as much damage to Evil aligned beings. It can cut through pure adamantium and most mystical barriers. If, because of a massive power overload or the freak event of a superior force being applied to it, the sword ever shatters, it turns into five smaller blades that cannot be wielded by any Transformers ever again, but they can be used by humanoids or humans, albeit in a much reduced capacity.
By being applied to damaged machinery, the Cyber Caliber also can bring them back to a functional state over a time depending on the severity of said original damage.
Matrix of Leadership: EX
Ruler's ultimate trump card, the activation of the force implanted upon his chest, which signifies his post as the leader of the Autobots and rightful commander in chief of Cybertron.
As soon as it's activated, the Matrix makes Ruler's torso glow blue, and every last one of his parameters is granted a boost, its amount depending on the quantity of mana Ruler has before the activation. All injuries are healed, and nearby mechanical allies are healed back as well, even being turned on again after a complete deactivation.
The Matrix allows Ruler to receive advice and orientation from all twelve previous Primes, adding their battle capacities to his own. It also surrounds him with an A ranked energy shield covering Ruler from all directions, able to stop most blasts and piercing attacks aimed at him.
By unleashing the full power of the Matrix, Ruler projects a titanic, Anti-Army release of energy that can vaporize up to one thousand human sized units. Even Transformers the same size as Ruler, and other similarly sized beings, can be destroyed by this single attack. However, after spending so much mana, Ruler is left weakened and mentally reverted to his Orion Pax persona. Should any of his enemies, for any reason, be still left standing by then, Ruler might be an easy target for them in this vulnerable state.
Recovery takes five days on average, although a resourceful enough Master can accelerate the process by accessing suitable forces of energy to provide Ruler with extra mana.
Summon: "Servant Ruler, reporting for the fray. Stand strong, Master."
Battle Start:
"Let them come."
"One shall stand, one shall fall."
"If we are to die, then we will die fighting all as one."
"I'll take you all on!"
"Until all are one."
Attack:
"Pressing on."
"You still can yield!"
"Adding pressure."
"Oh, please!"
Damage:
"Analyzing damage."
"Most systems remain functional."
"No use on complaining."
"Rising the defenses!"
Damage by Noble Phantasm:
"Switching to emergency reserves."
Victory:
"Your pride has betrayed you."
"Celebrating? Primes don't party."
"In any war, there are calms between storms. There may be days where we lose hope, days when our allies turn against us. But the day will never come that we forsake this planet and its people."
"I rise, you fall."
"There is still time to make things right."
Defeat:
"No sacrifice is too great in the service of freedom."
"A necessary sacrifice to bring peace to this planet. It's been an honor serving with you all."
"Do not lament my absence, for in my spark, I know that this is not the end, but merely a new beginning. Simply put, another transformation."
"Even if you destroy me, you haven't won. My friends will never stop fighting you! And if they fall, others will come forward. As long as all you care about is yourself, you'll have to take on the entire universe!"
"Do not grieve. Soon, an Autobot shall rise from our wrecks. And use the power of the matrix, to light our darkest hour."
Noble Phantasm Activation:
"I hereby pull the blade from its foundations... CYBER CALIBER!"
"For the freedom of all beings in the universe! For the rights of all creatures! This is what was bestowed to me! The Matrix of Leadership!"
Extra Dialogue:
"After eons of conflict, I finally see the truth of your words, Megatron. This universe, no matter how vast, will never be big enough for you and I to coexist. Yet, for now... we must rally together for a common cause again." (When you have Archer Megatron).
"Please reconsider your ways. Hubris is not a good advisor while in the middle of a campaign." (When you have Archer Gilgamesh).
"Freedom is the right to all sentient beings. And yet, sometimes, I have to wonder..." (When you have Assassin Joker or Caster Kefka Palazzo).
"Why do you take so much pride from your line of work? Who gave you the right to take innocent lives in exchange for money?" (When you have Assassin Lobo).
"I won't lecture you. Creatures like you are beyond that, for better or worse." (When you have Foreigner Shuma Gorath).
"It's impressive, Master. Such an innocent creature, holding a power that vast, that evil... Your planet is full of wondrous mysteries." (When you have Foreigner Abigail Williams).
"Yes. Yes, I remember. We... We have met before." (When you have Berserker Fluttershy, Caster Rarity, Caster Twilight Sparkle or Berserker Pinkie Pie).
Birthday: "Happy anniversary of your birth, Master."
Event: "Please don't lower your guard, Master. I detect abnormal readings from that site."
Holy Grail: "We must prevent its fall into the wrong hands at all costs."
