Eight Months Later
"The bride and groom have written vows for each other that they would like to recite now." The priest says.
Clark begins
"I have spent most of my life, unsure of who I am. Not knowing where I belong, and not ever really fitting in. But from the moment I met you, I knew I wanted to be with you. You have a fire and passion like none I've ever seen. Your drive to find the truth has always driven me to you. We have both been through so much in the past few years. But whatever comes next, I know that we'll be able to face it together." Clark says.
Clark takes Lois's hand and puts the ring on her finger. It's now Lois's turn to speak.
"For years, I never knew what true love was. I didn't believe it was out there. And then I met you. And though I was attracted to you, I didn't know how I actually felt. I didn't know for a long time that I love you. But I do now. I know that I love you with all of my heart, and I always will. I want nothing more than to spend the rest of our days together and build a life we can both enjoy." Lois says.
Lois then puts the ring on Clark's finger.
"I now pronounce you Husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." The priest says.
Lois and Clark lock eyes. They have finally made it to the alter. Finally pronounced their love to each other and everyone else. The two kiss. Their first kiss as husband and wife. Their friends and family watch on from inside the Smallville church. Martha tears up sitting in the front row. Lois can't help but cry a little herself. It hurt, not having her father here. But her sister, Lucy, was able to make it. Even most of the Justice League was here. Claiming to be friends of Lois and Clark through interviews they had done over the past few years. Wonder Woman was there, as was Barry Allen and his wife, Iris, along with their daughter Nora. Iris's brother Wally, and now secretly Kid Flash, was also there. Martian Manhunter and his niece, Miss Martian, were there as well, albeit morphed into human disguises. Green Lantern and Aquaman were not able to make it today; off in space and dealing with duties in Atlantis respectively. But even Bruce Wayne made an appearance. He was walking with a cane at the moment, still recovering from his attack at the hands of Bane last year. He recently returned to life as Batman, despite concerns from other league members. He even had a new Robin, a young boy named Tim Drake, and Batgirl, secretly police commissioner Jim Gordon's daughter Barbara helping him.
Lois and Clark walk down the aisle out of the church as everyone stands and applauses. Clark was so happy. He knew he was in love with Lois from the first time he met her. For Lois, it took a bit more convincing. But she confessed to Clark that she truly fell in love with him the first time they took a trip to Kansas. And now, here they were in the union of marriage.
Martha comes up to the two of them.
"I'm so proud of you both. If only your father was here to see you now Clark." Martha says.
"It's like you always tell me Ma, he sees it all." Clark says.
Clark then turns to Lois.
"Your father saw it too." Clark says.
Lois begins wiping tears away from her eyes.
Martha begins to cough.
"Are you okay Ma?" Clark asks.
"I'm fine, it's just a very emotional day." Martha says.
That evening the reception is held at the Kent farm, inside the barn. Clark had spent weeks getting it ready. Everyone was having a great time. Dick Grayson and Starfire had shown up for the reception. Starfire was away on her home planet of Tameran for a while. But that was really a plot by her sister Blackfire. Dick and the Titans went there to rescue her. Raven was the one who really wanted to come. Her and Clark always had a special connection. Knowing Clark's story made Raven feel less alone. Clark even saved a dance for Raven.
Clark saved another dance for Lana. She had brought her fiancée, Kyle Cushing, with her. Clark was happy for Lana and Lana in turn was happy for Clark. They may not have ended up together, but they both found someone that they love and remained friends.
Beast Boy and Cyborg didn't show up. Beast Boy was still mending a broken heart after his ordeal with Terra, and Cyborg still didn't feel comfortable in large crowds of what he called "regular people".
Perry sits at his table along with his wife, Alice. Jimmy comes over. He had noticed that recently Perry had seemed troubled.
"Everything alright Mr. White?" Jimmy asks.
"I'm fine Jimmy, everything is fine." Perry snaps.
Pete Ross then grabs a microphone. Growing up, Pete was Clark's best friend. He even agreed to be Clark's best man at the wedding.
"Everyone, I would like to make a toast." Pete says.
"I have known Clark Kent since kindergarten. And truth be told, he was always a weird kid. But there was always something about him I admired. Clark kept to himself a lot, but it seems like he always had a guardian angel looking out for him. I remember one time him, Lana, and me were heading home from homecoming. When all of a sudden, a twister showed up out of nowhere. Honestly, I blacked out, and Lana did too. Clark drove us through it, but how, I'll never know. But Clark was lucky that night and Clark was lucky to meet Lois. And now we wish them the best, to Lois and Clark." Pete says.
"To Lois and Clark!" Everyone repeats.
The night goes by, and everyone has a great time. At the end of the night, Lois, Clark, Barry, Conner, Martian Manhunter, and Miss Martian stay. Clark and Barry race each other to clean up the barn. Conner watches on, knowing he used to be able to move like that, but can't anymore. Miss Martian goes over to him and holds his hand.
"Great party." Barry tells Clark.
"Thanks for your help." Clark says.
"It was nothing. So where you two headed for your honeymoon?" Barry asks.
"Paris." Lois says.
"Nice." Barry says.
"I've got the plane tickets right here." Lois says.
"You know, I could still fly us there." Clark says.
"I'd just rather do it this way." Lois says.
Sometimes Lois wanted to be a bit more traditional. She liked saving up and earning going to see places instead of Clark just flying her there. Clark didn't always understand it, but he respected it.
"Well we better get going." Clark says.
"Call as soon as you get there." Martha says.
"I will, love you Ma." Clark says as he hugs his mother.
"Love you too son." Martha says.
Lois and Clark head out. Clark looks at Lois.
"What, do I have something in my teeth?" Lois asks.
"No, it's just, I love you Lois Lane." Clark says.
"I love you too Clark Kent." Lois says.
The two embrace with a kiss.
