[United States: State of Michigan: Town of Royal Woods]
Franklin Street...
The most infamous Street in the town of Royal Woods, specifically as that street had the house that was twelve sixteen Franklin avenue...or better known to the residents of Royal Woods as the Loud House!
The Loud House was home to the most infamous family in all of Royal Woods, the Louds! This particular family was widely believed to be the largest known family in the entire city's history and with a household filled with ten daughters, one son, two parents, and a unknown large number of pets packed into their residence like a can full of sardines ready to pop out at any moment!
The other reason the members of the Loud family were so infamously known is because they do live up to their name 'Loud' in more ways than one! Not only were they noisy and rambunctious, they could be that at any time, even late at night, both inside and outside of their home. And not only were they loud, but they were a rather...'unique' bunch as well, which usually led to trouble every now and then.
But despite all of the mishaps and misadventures that the Loud family has gotten themselves into over the years, there is one thing remained constant... they were still a very tight-knit family who wouldn't trade each other for anything in the world. Still, even the closest of families had their moments where their familial bonds would become strained and the Louds were certainly no exception to this rule as all this time.

[Twelve sixteen Franklin avenue: early in the morning]
The story begins with the middle child of the Loud family, a coincidentally the only boy besides the father..Waming up from whatl was surely an uncomfortable sleep as he had to sleep on the couch was the one, the only, Lincoln Loud.
Letting out a massive yawn Lincoln stretched his arms as far as they could until he heard a popping sound, indicating that a satisfying crack had just occurred. With that satisfying pop Lincoln scratched his back and began to get up from the uncomfortable place he slept last night
Lincoln then begins to mutter to himself."I really hope that spending last night away from each other was enough for Lori and Leni to calm down. I don't know if I can deal with the Protocol for another..."said when you get to himself as he decided to do that thing where he talks to someone who is off screen.
Lincoln decided to do this as a coping mechanism as when you grow up in a house of mostly girls and a father you have few things in common, it helps to have a coping mechanism in order to distress and talk about things you would not tell someone else in the house, that way the young man keep his sanity in the crazy Life that is the Loud house.
His family on the other hand thought that he had imaginary friends or something and have taken him to local specialist Dr Lopez for help but she said that when Lincoln is doing is perfectly healthy and to keep letting him doing it as they was his coping mechanism.
But Lincoln didn't care about any of that at that moment as he just needed someone, anyone to talk to you about the current predicament that was happening in his house...
"Oh...morning, guys. It's good to see some friendly faces, especially with everything that's been happening here lately." greeted Lincoln with a small wave before his smile fades a bit as he makes his way up the stairs.
"Now I bet you're wondering why I'm not sleeping in my room right now. Well you see, things have been rather...let's just say "intense" here in the Loud House. Yesterday, my two oldest sisters older sisters, Lori and Leni had gotten into a fight with each other that had led to something that my sisters call the "Sister Fight Protocol" being enforced throughout the house. And while I'm certain that most of you guys are probably aware of what the fight was about, I mean come on, it's Lori and Leni. But there's nothing wrong with providing a reminder just in case. Now keep in mind that this is second hand knowledge as I wasn't here when it happened but let me tell you that it all started yesterday afternoon..."
[Flashback]
Inside the Loud family's living room, all of the Loud sisters minus Lori and Leni are sitting on the couch, eagerly chattering with each other.
Suddenly, Lori steps into the living room with several shopping bags in tow and excitedly squeals as she just has to tell her sister is the exciting news
"Guys, guys, guys!"said Lori before she toke an item out of one of the bags - a blue-colored dress. "Check out this dress I found at the mall! It's literally one-of-a-kind! Eeee!"
Upon seeing the dress, the others reply with "Ooh!" in unison, clearly impressed with their older sister's find. Even those who had no real interest in fashion had to admit that it was a very nice dress and was bound to look great on their oldest sister.
However, almost as if on cue to spoil both the moment and Lori's good mood...Leni sprints down the stairs, beaming with energy while wearing a similar-looking dress.
"O-M-Gosh, you guys! Look at this dress I found at the mall!"said Leni, oblivious to the situation.
Upon seeing the two oldest sisters with the same dress, the sisters let out a gasp! Lori, upon noticing Leni narrows her eyes in anger, clearly annoyed with her roommate stealing her much deserved thunder so to speak.
Walking over to Lori, Leni looks her over for a moment, still oblivious to the situation I was going down
"Ooooh...when did we put a mirror in the living room?"asked Leni in typical dumb blonde fashion...
Throwing down her dress in anger, Lori snaps "That's not a mirror, that's me!"
Lori then menacingly points at her sister and roommate before saying. "Now go take your dress back!"
With a glare of her own, Leni retorts "What? No! You take yours back!" before growling at her sister, who returns the gesture by growling back at her.
As for the other Loud sisters, they whistle awkwardly while retreating back to their rooms, not wanting anything to do with their argument.
[Flashback End]
"Now I bet you're thinking that is the most ridiculous thing you guys have ever heard. Why are they fighting over a dress when it's honestly not a big deal. I mean what's wrong with wearing identical clothes as me and Clyde do it all the time and you guys don't see us at each other's throats! But when I pointed this out to our other sisters they said that it's a 'girl' thing and that as a 'guy'I just wouldn't understand. It's honestly also stupid as it feels like the house has been turned upside down and this doesn't even feel like my house anymore. Still, it was enough of a reason for my sisters to enforce the Sister Fight Protocol throughout the house. And because of the Protocol, I couldn't go into the kitchen to get myself a snack which led to me unknowingly eating a 'couch bagel', I had to use a bucket to...er, "handle my call of nature" if Lori or Leni were using the bathroom as a cool-off spot and I got beaten up by three of my sisters because I wanted to watch the "Monster Madness" monster truck rally that I've been looking forward to all week."said Lincoln as he began listing off all the things that have changed ever since the Sister Fight Protocol have been enacted in the Loud House.
"Now I bet you're shaking your heads and wondering 'Lincoln, why don't your parents put a stopped all of this nonsense and get the house back in order?' Well even my parents aren't exempt from the Protocol's effects on the house since not only did they have to follow the same restrictions that are placed on me, but my Dad had to waste several days worth of groceries, cooking two separate dinners yesterday because Lori and Leni didn't want to sit at the dining table together...I know, a waste of good food. Anyone would get confused by the whole Sister Fight Protocol and it's many confusing rules and restrictions.
"Anyway, after I learned about Lori and Leni's fight and the reason behind it, I decided that the best way to help things go back to normal would be to help mediate things between them." continued the white-haired middle child before scratching the back of his head nervously as a nervous chuckle came out of his mouth.
"And I will admit...uh, that I didn't exactly do a good job at it. In fact, I ended up making Lori and Leni even angrier at me and each other afterward. After that, the rest of my sisters just told me to "butt out", and eventually Lori and Leni would settle their fight on their own."said Lincoln, who wondered how they were going to resolve it on their own when they wouldn't even speak to each other and would fight at the moment they saw each other?
But that was just his personal opinion and he knew he couldn't bring it up with his other sisters otherwise it will result in what they like to call the fight cloud...
"Now I know what some of you are probably thinking - why didn't I, Lincoln Loud just follow the advice my sisters gave me? It couldn't have been that hard to stay out of their way, right...? Well, I did try to do just that, believe it or not. I figured that since they didn't want me to get involved with Lori and Leni's fight, I'd just stay in my room and read a few of my comic books until things calmed down and went back to normal. Heck, it would've worked out perfectly for me since I was behind on a few issues anyway, and staying in my room would give me the chance to catch up. Seemed simple enough to work, right?"
That is when a scowl appeared on Lincoln's face before he decided to respond to the "viewers".
"Wrong! said Lincoln with two thumbs down to indicate his frustration!
"Apparently, my sisters decided that my decision to stay out of their way by sticking to my room wasn't "butting out" enough for them. Allow me to explain why I'm not in my room right now doing what they said."said Lincoln, before he began recalling the events that led to him being kicked out of his room.
[Flashback]
Lincoln was on his bed, within the confines of his room, relaxing with one of his graphic novels in his hands, though the expression on his face clearly showed that he wasn't entirely focused on what he was reading.
Then again, anyone in his position would be annoyed, especially after missing out on watching the monster truck rally he had been looking forward to all week, being told that he can't go into the kitchen to get a snack since Lori was in there, and having to "do his call of nature" in Lana's smelly poop bucket because Leni wanted to use the bathroom as a cool-off spot.
Still, maybe his sisters were right that things would settle themselves if he stayed out of the way, which is why he was currently in his room right now, just reading a comic book. And after upsetting Lori and Leni earlier, it was probably safer for him to keep his distance. Lori was bad enough when she was angry, but Leni? He didn't want to think about how she would be when she was really mad as they say it's the unexpected ones who do the worst!
Besides, he had a few unopened comics and manga to read in here in order to wait things out anyway, so staying in his room instead of watching the monster truck rally he had been looking forward to all week wasn't really that big of a loss.
"Might not be the Monster Madness Rally, but there's nothing wrong with a little manga," murmured Lincoln to himself as he lounged on his bed, eyes locked onto the graphic novel in his hands. "Yep. Just me and my…"
Suddenly, the door bursts open as Luna and Luan, both wearing yellow safety vests and headphones with microphones attached, pop into his room, startling their white-haired brother.
"Scram, dude. We need your room."said Luna
"What? Why?"questions Lincoln, wondering why he had to leave his room.
"Lori's approaching the sector and we can't risk a run-in with Leni," replied Luan, eyes darting towards the hallway.
"Why can't you use your room? Or somewhere else?" complained Lincoln, only for Luna to grab his arm and pull him out of bed.
"No time to argue with you about this, little bro. Out. Now." answered Luna as she shoved Lincoln out into the hallway while Luan led Leni into his bedroom.
Once Leni was inside, Luna says "Coast is clear, brah." into her microphone before slamming the door shut, leaving Lincoln standing out in the hallway, clearly annoyed.
As Lori came up the stairs and headed down the hallway, Lincoln heard his bedroom door opening again, followed by Luna and Luan escorting Leni out of his room.
The sight of his older sister using traffic control wands to lead Leni out of his room would've been amusing if it wasn't for the fact she had kicked him out of said room just a few moments ago.
"All clear, bro." said Luna with a satisfied smile, causing her brother to roll his eyes before heading back into his room and getting back onto his bed to continue reading his manga…only for his door to burst open a few seconds later as Luna and Luan came into his room again, this time with Lori in tow.
"Are you kidding me? Again!?"said Lincoln who was clearly done with all of this nonsense.
"Lincoln, make like a drum and beat it!" replied Luan as she thumbed towards the hallway before letting out a few chuckles. "Get it? But seriously, out."
And just like that, almost as soon as he had returned back to his room, he was booted out of his room both figuratively and very literally.
After watching Leni head into her room and close the door, Lincoln lets out a sigh.
"Dang it."was all he could say.
[Flashback End]
"So not only was I kicked out of my room once, but TWICE! I mean, come on! I was trying to stay out of their business like they said and they had to get me involved by using my room! I mean why couldn't they have use one of the many rooms they have available like their own! With all of my sisters with their earpieces could have easily used another room as the chances of both of them being in the same room, especially with this whole Sister Fight Protocol in effect would have been minimal at best! But no! Once again they have to use my room for one of their stupid reasons! But no, apparently Luan and Luna decided that my room - MY ROOM of all places - was the perfect place to prevent Lori and Leni from running into each other! How hard could it have been for them to use one of the other rooms? There were plenty of options available!"said Lincoln with clear frustration in his voice as he was so done with all of this nonsense that his sister came up with!
But he took a few seconds to calm down as he knew he needed to better explain the situation if he wanted to get his point across.
"Now if you think that's the worst of it then I'm sorry to say that you're wrong. Not only did Luna and Luan kick me out of my room twice, but Lana went and took my sheets and blanket without asking just so she could make a divider for my older sisters."said Lincoln while gesturing towards his bedroom door.
"That was the last straw for me!"said Lincoln."So I decided to get involved again. This time by suggesting that Lori and Leni sleep in separate rooms to keep the peace! Hopefully, separating those two from each other will get things to calm back down again so everything can go back to normal."
"Now to head to my room and listen to the sweet silence."said Lincoln, who entered his room and close the door to listen to the rare silence in the Loud House.
Unfortunately for the only boy of the Loud family, he would be quickly proven wrong a few moments later as the sound of two voices arguing with each other rang out from the hallway.
"Just admit you're wrong!"shouted someone.
"You're wrong, dude!"shouted the other.
Sighing, Lincoln mutters "...Or not. Dang it."
That is when he did a double take and quickly realizing something. "...Wait a minute. That didn't sound like Lori and Leni."
Peeking out of his room, the white-haired Loud saw something that caused him to wince: the sight of Luna and Luan in the hallway, arguing with each other.
'Oh no...' thought Lincoln to himself as he watched the fight unfold.
"Lori had the dress first! She told me the whole story last night!"said Luna, pointing at one of the many doors in the hallway.
"Well, Leni told me her side and she clearly had the dress first!" countered Luan, jabbing a thumb at herself.
"Ha! That's funnier than most of your lame jokes!"retorted Luna, jabbing a finger in her sister's face.
"Oh I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you! I've gone partially deaf from your horrible guitar playing!"said Luan while swatting the finger away.
'I better break this up before things get worse...' thought Lincoln before running over and quickly stepping between the two quarreling sisters, causing them to give him a narrow-eyed look of annoyance.
"Guys, guys..."said Lincoln, trying to break the tension.
Both growl at him, causing the other sisters to suddenly appear in the hallway.
Lynn quickly takes out a megaphone, before she shouts "SISTER FIGHT PROTOCOL! DIVIDE AND ISOLATE!"
This prompted Lola to drive by in her princess car and force Luna into the back before driving down the stairs. all the while glaring at her brother while shaking her fist
"Y-you're paying f-for new s-shocks, L-Lincoln!"said Lola in an angry, wavering voice as her car heads downstairs.
Before Lincoln could retort to his younger sister's words, Luan had already lifted him off the ground by his pajamas with a furious expression on her face, only for the other twin to pull her away with a lasso.
"This room is now off-limits!"stated Lana as she pulled the hogtied Luan into Lincoln's room before slamming the door that now said off limits!
"Aw, c'mon! Why is it always my room!?" complained Lincoln, as why was his room to go to place?!
"Congratulations, elder brother. Thanks to you, the threat level is now at 'Stampeding T-Rex'." said Lisa in an annoyed tone while the others glared at their brother, feeling that it was his fault that things had escalated further.
"Stampeding T-Rex?!" screamed their father and mother's voices from downstairs before the sound of rapid hammering rang out, coming from their bedroom.
'Are you kidding me?!' thought Lincoln as in that moment he couldn't believe that his parents were the ones in charge as they were acting no better than his sisters!
"Lincoln, just stay out of this until it blows over!"shouted his father from the safety of his bedroom.
Clearly unhappy with the fact that not only were his parents not going to do anything about the situation at hand, but they had chosen to let him fend for himself while they hid away in their room. While one hand they did give him some good advice, but seriously, what kind of parents would act like this?
"Well when am I going to do now?"said Lincoln to himself as he wasn't going to be getting back into his room anytime soon and the sooner he distanced himself from the rest of his sisters, the better.
So with that train of thought in mind, the only son/brother of the loud family just heads downstairs, grumbling all the while about how his morning couldn't get any worse...and oh boy did he have to temp Fate like that!
Once they were certain that Lincoln was out of the way, several of the sisters start directing their quarrelling siblings throughout the hallway, with Lisa leading Lori into the bathroom while Luna escorts Leni out of Luna and Luan's room. Things seem to be going smoothly...until Lola and Lana, both directing Luna and Luan respectively, run into each other at the bottom of the stairs.
"Lola, what are you doing? This is the red zone! The door is red!" stated Lana, only for Lola to point at the carpet.
"Uh, hello! The carpet is green!"said the bratty Lola to her twin sister.
This causes the twins to start arguing, while Luna and Luan, still angry with each other from earlier, go right back to shouting.
Meanwhile, Lucy was at the bottom of the staircase, looking over a clipboard while using the microphone on her headset to speak, saying "Okay, first seating will be Leni, Luan, and Lana."
"Roger. Copy that." replied Lisa's voice through the headset before cutting off, causing Lucy to sigh in exhaustion.
"We would've already been eating pizza by now if it wasn't for Lincoln trying to 'fix' things between Leni and Lori." muttered the goth girl darkly before heading into the dining room, only to find her sister/roommate sitting at the table, snacking away at some of the pizza that Bobby delivered.
"What are you doing? You're supposed to be watching Lori, Luna, and Lola." questioned Lucy, clearly upset with her roommate.
"Can't I have a break? I've been working for nine hours."said Lynn in annoyance
"So have I, and you don't see me complaining."pointed out Lucy.
"Oh yeah, 'cause you're always such a ray of sunshine."said Lynn as she was rolling her eyes.
"At least I don't smell like crusty athletic socks."Lucy snarls, feeling her temper flaring up from both exhaustion at trying to keep things in order and her own irritation at everything that's happened lately.
"Please! Like Eau De Death is better!" retorted Lynn while getting out of her chair with a scowl of her own.
This caused the rest of the Loud sisters to enter the dining room while the two begin arguing with each other.
"Oh boy, here we go. We are now at Erupting Volcano, people!" Lisa says after taking out her chart upon seeing the two girls bickering
Before Lana snatches the chart out of her hands!
"What the-?"said Lisa before Lana cut her off!
"ENOUGH WITH YOUR DUMB CHART!" snarled the grease monkey twin before taking a big bite out of the chart, causing Lisa to glare at her heatedly.
"How would you like to eat that hat?!"shouted Lisa, allowing her temper to get the better of her.
This causes Lana and Lisa to start arguing now, adding to the cacophony of arguing voices coming from all the sisters in the room at the moment. After a few more moments of shouting, swearing, and bickering, the nine Loud sisters finally lose their tempers and break out into a violent brawl known as the fight cloud!
Meanwhile in the kitchen Lincoln was trying to enjoy the first peaceful meal he had for a while... peaceful being a loose word as he could hear his sister's arguing with one another, so he tried his best to ignore them as he continued with his meal.
"Man if I knew this was going to happen I would have kept my big mouth shut as how was I supposed to know the whole sleeping in separate rooms solution would backfire so badly...But then again this is my sister started talking about so I should have expected this a mile away... that was honestly my bad."said Lincoln to himself as he continued eating.
"And to think this all started over a stupid dress? Why can't Lori and Leni just go to the store and see who bought it first as I'm sure they have security cameras with time date stamps and everything..."said Lincoln, before his eyes grew white as I realization hit him as he facepalmed.
"The store! Of course! I bet their sales records would show who bought the dress first and everything! And considering it's most likely a clothing store they probably have working security cameras pointed at the cash register. Lori and Leni are without doubt on video, and the footage could clearly show who bought the dress first!"said Lincoln as he couldn't believe he was so stupid as to not have thought of that earlier.
Surely going to the store and asking who bought the dress first would have been the obvious solution but because of the whole Sister Fight Protocol he couldn't think clearly!
"But how do I get the store to show me the security footage?...The receipts! I'm sure if I show them the receipts they will show me the security footage and I can show everyone else! That way there is concrete proof that someone bought the dress before the other and this matter will be settled once and for all! I should tell the others about this!"said Lincoln as he abandoned his breakfast and headed to the living room to see his sisters.
Only to stop in his tracks as soon as he saw them fighting amongst one another in a vicious brawl for supremacy! This make the middle child of the Loud family think again about opening his mouth and alerting his sisters of his presence as it was clear all of them were mad at him from the way they were acting and any knowledge of his presence would probably be a bad idea to his person!
'Okay, there's no way I'm going to be dragging that brawl as they're likely going to team up on me and I'm going to end up in the hospital with some major injuries if I don't do something else. I think I'll just go to my room until they get tired or they stop fighting against one another!' thought Lincoln as he quickly made his way to the staircase as quickly and as quietly as he could.
He then began to quickly make his way up the steps as contrary to proper relief moving slower actually makes more noise than moving fast as there's less resistance on the ground. Lincoln make sure to avoid the loose floorboard on the stairs as that would have alerted his sister's of his presence and that is the last thing he wanted so he quickly just jumped over the loose floorboard and made his way up the steps.
Once he was sure he was on the second floor did Lincoln make a beeline to his room where he quickly shut the door behind him!
Meanwhile Rita and Lynn Sr for busy eating their pizza as they heard the sounds of furniture breaking and glass falling onto the floor!
"Oh, it sounds like we have gone from rampaging T-Rex to exploding volcano!"said Rita with worry, specifically to her only son."Lynn, are we sure we can't let Lincoln inside the room?"
"Rita, I'm worried about him as much as you are but we can't do anything about it! If we even think about removing those planks the girls will bust in and ruin the room! You remember what the first sister fight protocol was like and we weren't ready for it! Now we are and we can't make the same mistake twice."said Lynn Sr, as the last time they tried to do something it resulted in their room being trashed.
"I know, but Lincoln is out there on his own."said Rita, before looking over at her youngest child with worry as she was so glad that Lily was with them as there's no way she would have survived the protocol.
"Lincoln is a smart kid and he has dealt with his sisters more than anyone else! I'm sure he'll figure out a way out of this as he's a smart Rita."said Lynn Sr, fully confident that is only son could get out of this.
"But so far Lincoln has made things worse with his ideas and now all of the girls are arguing amongst one another and I can hear stuff being thrown."said Rita, feeling like she should step in for her son's sake.
"You and I both know when the girls are like this they don't listen to reason! Lincoln knows this as well, so I'm sure he'll come up with a solution to keep himself safe until the girls calm down and talk amongst one another."said Lynn Sr, feeling like Lincoln could get out of this if he tried hard enough as he was the self-proclaimed 'man with the plan.'
"Besides, I already gave Lincoln a good piece of advice by telling him to stay out of it has this isn't the first Sister Fight Protocol and it won't be the last. Lincoln needs to learn how to survive this like we did and I'm sure he'll quickly adapt as he is the 'man with a plan.'said Lynn Sr, before he took another bite of his pizza.
"But why didn't the girls warn him about the protocol before. You hurt with Bobby said earlier about the rampaging T-Rex. He already knew about the protocol and yet Lincoln didn't."said Rita, causing her husband to stop eating as he quickly realized this as well.
"Huh, that's actually a good point. Well I guess that's one thing we have to discuss when the protocol is over as that's a good point."said Lynn Sr, realizing that his wife had a point as why didn't Lincoln know about the Sister Fight Protocol when Bobby did?
"Oh, I hope Lincoln finds somewhere safe to hunker down."said Rita, looking at the event and hoping that her son was okay as the sounds of furniture being used against one another could be heard.
Meanwhile in his room linking with panting like a thirsty dog as his face was covered with bullet size sweat. He knew that the situation in the house was getting worse by the day and he had to do something otherwise he would be in a world of pain as he was sure sooner or later his sister is would agree with one another that this was all his fault and that he needed to pay!
"The girls are out of control, Mom and Dad aren't doing anything to stop them and if I stay here, I run the risk of my sisters getting angry enough to hurt me for 'making things worse'."said Lincoln to himself, before wincing at the sounds of violence from downstairs growing louder. "And they sound mad enough to do it. It's not safe for me here. I need to get out...at least until things calm down and I'm no longer at risk of getting beaten up."
However, that train of thought presented Lincoln with a new problem.
Who would he stay with until things calmed down again?
Mom and Dad's room was definitely out of the question since they had it boarded up tight. And he couldn't just hole up in his room since not only would he need to leave in order to eat or use the bathroom, but he knew that somehow, his sisters would find a way to barge into his room.
Lincoln's train of thought then turn to his friends but then there was another problem with that...
'Clyde it's a good option but he is out of town visiting his nana. I could stay over at Ronnie Anne's house...but Bobby also lives there and there's a chance Lori will go to visit Bobby... and if she sees me there I can only imagine what she'll do to me after all the mess I caused! Those you are definitely out of the question and the others live too far away from me to walk to their houses.' thought Lincoln as he realized that he didn't have a lot of options.
"Dang it. Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place. If only Pop-Pop were here...he'd know what to..."said Lincoln to himself, before his eyes widened in realization. "Pop-Pop, of course! He can help me get out of this mess!"
Rushing over to his duck-shaped phone, Lincoln quickly dials in the number to his grandfather's room at the Sunset Canyon Retirement Center, silently pleading that his grandfather on his mother's side wasn't busy at the moment...as he was probably his only hope in getting out of this situation in one piece!
(Sunset Canyon Retirement Home)
As Lincoln tried to quickly dial his grandfather's number as fast and as thoroughly as he could, Albert was doing nothing better than sitting in his reclining chair in his room. The man in question was staring at an old photograph be had where he was a younger man standing in front of an impressive looking building, next to him was a young man wearing a lab coat. Albert smiled at the photo as it has been a while since he has heard from his old friend.
"I haven't spoken to Augustine in a while... maybe I should call him up and introduce him to the kids next time they visit."said Albert to himself with a nostalgic smile before turning his attention over to a well-worn, metallic-looking ball with a black line separating the two halves of the ball. The top half was a slightly-faded red, while the bottom half was a dull white that was starting to yellow with age. In the center of the ball was a white-colored button. "I might even introduce them to..."
But before Albert can finish his sentence, the sound of his phone ringing interrupted him as he looked to see that someone was calling him, so he decided to pick up the phone and see who was at the other end.
"This is Albert speaking, who's this?"questions Albert as he waited for the person on the other end to respond.
Pop-Pop! Thank goodness you answered!" exclaimed his grandson's voice from the other end of the line. "I was starting to worry that you were too busy to answer me!"
"I've always got time to talk to my favorite grandson. So how are things?" replied Albert with a smile on his face.
"They...could be better at the moment, honestly." said Lincoln's voice, hesitant. "A-anyway...I need to ask you for a favor."
"Anything, kiddo. What do you need?"said Albert, who was always ready to help out his grandson.
"If it's okay with you...I'd like to spend some time with you away from the house. Can you come and pick me up?"said Lincoln nervously.
"A visit? Lincoln, you don't need to call in a favor for that. I'm always happy to have you and the girls over for a visit." said Albert, his smile still on his face.
"Um...no, it's not exactly a visit as it's just me. I need a place to crash for a while until things cool down here at the house. And I figured you would be the best option."said Lincoln, before a loud sound that sounded like someone getting thrown into a wall could be heard, causing a look of concern to appear on Albert's face.
"L-Lincoln? What was that? What's going on?"asked Albert out of concern.
"I-I can't go into details right now, Pop-Pop. I just need to get out of the house for a while, but I promise you that once we're back at the retirement home, I'll explain everything, okay? Just...can you come and pick me up, please?"said Lincoln's, who felt that the longer he stayed here the more he would be in danger.
"I'll...see what I can do, kiddo. Just hold tight, okay?"Albert replies, no longer smiling as he hangs up the phone.
After looking at the receiver for a moment, he dials another number, calling his daughter's personal phone.
"Maybe Rita can fill me in on what's going on here..."said Albert to himself, as he figured if anyone knew what was going on it would be his daughter!
(Lynn Sr and Rita's Room)
"Okay, I think these new boards will hold up until the girls come down and we can have that talk with them."said Lynn Sr as he looked over the new ply boards he put on to the door in order to keep it secure.
"Thanks honey. I'm so glad we decided to talk to the girls and tell them that the Sister Fight Protocol will never happen again."said Rita, that she was glad that her husband and her decided on this decision.
"Yeah, as now that I think about it it's ridiculous that we have to do all these rules just to keep the girls from going off the handle. Do you have any idea how much money I spent on food just to cover two meals. We'll going to have to penny pinch for a while just because of that."said Lynn Sr, as he knew that they would have to cut down expenses in order to cover that food budget.
"While I do agree the girls need to cool off every now and again they have to understand that not everyone can accommodate to their whims just because they have a disagreement. The world doesn't work like that and if they tried that in the real world they could get fired from their jobs are worse. By doing this with teaching our daughters a very important life lesson."said Rita, feeling satisfied with herself for coming up with this decision.
"Yeah, now we just have to wait out the storm and wait for them to come down enough so they can listen to reason."said Lynn Sr, before he hurt his wife's phone ring."I think that's for you."
Rita quickly nodded her head in picked up the phone, before she answered it.
"Hello?"said Rita, waiting for the other person on the other end to respond.
"It's me."said Albert, identifying himself to his daughter.
"Dad, I'm so glad to hear from you!"said Rita, glad to hear her father's voice.
"I'm glad to hear from you as well...Rita, is everything all right in the house?"questions Albert with a serious tone, causing his daughter's smile to fade.
"Well...no, things are not all right right now but they could be worse."said Rita, wondering why her father was being so serious.
"Well I just got a phone call from Lincoln and I heard some very disturbing noise in the background. He asked if you could stay with me for a while so I'm wondering if you know what's going on?"said Albert, causing both Loud parents to realize that Albert had some idea of what was going on.
'Oh no! I told Lincoln to stay out of it but did he decide to tell Albert everything?!' thought Lynn Sr, who knew what no nonsense kind of person his father-in-law could be when angered... but it appeared he didn't know anything as he wasn't using his serious voice.
"Well... the girls have just had a disagreement with one another and they're kind of taking it out of proportion."said Rita, who knew that was the understatement of the century.
"A disagreement? What kind of disagreement?"inquired her father.
"Well Lori and Leni both bought the same type of dress not too long ago and they can't decide who got their dress first."said Rita, deciding not to add the part where they took the whole issue out of control.
"A dress? They are fighting over a dress?"questions Albert to make sure he heard his daughter right.
"Well you know how the girls can get at times and these things happen. So far they have dragged the others into this mess and no one can agree who got the dress first."said Rita while twirling her hair nervously.
"Why didn't they just go to the store and ask to see the security cameras or something? I'm sure the store will remember them as pretty much everyone in town knows the Loud family."said Albert, causing both Rita and Lynn Sr to look at each other before facepalming.
Why didn't they think of that sooner? The store was one of the most popular stores in Royal woods and definitely had security cameras as retail stores usually do! And security cameras can tell exactly who bought the dress first so why didn't their daughters think of going to the store and asking who got the dress first instead of enacting the Sister Fight Protocol?
"That is a very good suggestion dad... I'm a little surprised our girls didn't think of that. But until things blow over can you please pick up Lincoln and take him with you until things are better handled here."said Rita, feeling like her son safety will be better off with her father's protection.
"I'll be there in half an hour so tell Lincoln to wait outside."said Albert, before he hung up the phone.
"Phew..."said both Lynn Sr and Rita at the same time.
"It doesn't appear that Lincoln said anything about the Sister Fight Protocol Rita. But your dad's definitely going to figure it out when he gets here."said Lynn Sr with worry.
"Maybe we need an outside perspective Lynn as I'm still upset that Bobby knew about this and Lincoln didn't! Dad is the sweetest man you ever met but make him upset and you'll regret it. He's probably the only person who can get the girls in line. So I think we should hear him out."said Rita, realizing that this whole protocol nonsense was mainly their fault to begin with.
"...Yeah... I suppose you have a point as I think we need to have a wake up call. We let this protocol get too far and now the girls are tearing the house apart. Can you imagine what they would do when they're out of the house and try to use this protocol on the outside world...Rita, I don't even want to imagine it."said Lynn Sr, realizing that they spoil their girls too much..
"Well hopefully Lincoln can get out of the house without getting a scratch."said Rita, who was texting her son and telling him what was going on.
Pop Pop will be here to pick you up in thrity
To which Lincoln responded with a thumbs up!
"Well now that that's taken care of what exactly are we going to say to our girls when we have that talk with them?"said Rita, wondering what her and her husband were going to say to their daughters when they revealed that they were no longer going to allow the protocol to be enacted.
"I don't know Rita as you know how stubborn they can be. But this is something we have to do, especially for Lori as she's almost going to college soon and she can't be acting like this in the real world."said Lynn Sr, even though he didn't want his first child to leave home.
"Well once things have settled down we're going to have a long talk with our girls...A LONG talke."said Rita, knowing that something would have to be done in order for this nonsense to disappear.
Meanwhile Albert was getting into the Sunset Canyon Shuttle with the intention of having the driver take him to the loud house and see what is going on as he has a feeling that his family is keeping him in the dark about something!
[After having to withstand the nonsense of the Sister Fight Protocol, Lincoln decides to venture out and meet up with his grandfather Albert until things cool down at the house. But what Lincoln does not know is that by doing this his fate will forever be changed as he will soon experience what many would call the adventure of a lifetime as he ventures into parts unknown! Soon Lincoln will discover a world that he never knew existed and will see for himself just how different life could be outside the Loud House. But that story is for another time as the journey officially begins]
[To Be Continued]
Hey everyone, PrimusPilus here to give his two cents.
As many of you are probably aware the Great SilverNugget is back and I'm super excited to read his latest story.
His first chapter of his new story was so amazing that I just had to write a story of my own similar to his! But I intend to make this completely my own and show everyone just how good of a writer I am!
Now, I know in the past I have deleted many of my Pokemon x The Loud House stories and that was for a variety of reasons including mental and physical health.
But I have a good gut feeling about this one and my gut is rarely wrong!...Most of the time...
Anyway I decided to go with Kalos because I have not done mega evolution yet...and I decided this was a good opportunity.
But that's enough of that and I've already decided on the starter Pokemon so if you guys have any suggestions for the team feel free to leave a comment or send me a PM.
I hope to hear from all of you next time and I will be glad to see you all next time!
Have a great rest of the day and I bid you all a do.
