PokéTurtle Power!

Chapter 1: Pizza Historic Pie

A city was in sight for three children, one teenager and one mouse with long and pointy ears. The tanned spiky-haired brunette teenage boy wore a brown jacket and slacks while his eyes were squinted. Two boys were raven-haired with the shorter one in a green polo t-shirt and brown shorts and glasses, while the other was wearing a blue sweat-tee over a black t-shirt and a red baseball cap and denim pants. The lone girl was a brunette wearing a red bandanna and a rather tight red t-shirt and biker shorts. The large yellow mouse had a lightning bolt as a tail and brown streaks on its back while red circular cheeks was part of his face. "Man, I feel better getting out of Petalburg City," the boy in blue sighed. "The chaos is not something I want to have happen again."

"And I can't stop apologizing for my actions after you beat Dad," the boy in green admitted. "I mean, I did act selfishly in thinking Dad would beat you like in that exhibition match after you arrived at the Gym."

"Now, Max…" the boy in blue assured. "You and May know I have full respect for Norman. Besides, knowing how much the Petalburg citizens like him..." Max sighed, a reminder he didn't need.

"So, Ash…" the tanned teenager spoke. "Now that you got your Gym Badge, it's May's turn at the spotlight."

"I know, Brock," the boy in blue acknowledged. "I know…"

"Brock, don't remind him," the girl nagged. Coming out of the pathway, they arrived at a new city. Everyone awed the new location.

"Check out this city, guys!" gasped Ash. Max brought out a yellow handheld device.

"According to the PokéNav," he discovered. "We've made it to Chitalo City!" That made Brock pull a small blue booklet from his pocket.

"Let's see…" he pondered as he flipped through the pages. "Chitalo City…" He repeated the name a few times before his discovery. "Here we go!" The others were curious.

"Well, Brock?" the girl wondered. "Does it have a Pokémon Contest?" Brock shook his head.

"What about a Pokémon Gym?" asked Ash.

"Sorry, you two," Brock apologized. "But the place has neither." Ash and the girl gasped.

"Neither!?" they gawked in unison. The mouse whined with Ash and the girl.

"But, I do have some good news," Brock assured. "According to the guidebook, Chitalo City is famous for the birthplace of the region's best pizzeria, Hoenn Hut." Max and the girl gasped in delight as Ash stood confused.

"Hoenn… Hut?" he repeated.

"Oh yeah!" she replied. "They serve the most delicious pizzas in all of Hoenn! The chain is all over the region! There's hardly a city or town that doesn't have it!"

"Right, May?" agreed Max. "We even have a Hoenn Hut of our own back home. I remember all the times Mom and Dad would order from them while we grew up." The claim made Ash curious.

"Are the pizzas really that good?" he questioned.

"You bet!" claimed May. "They even serve pizzas for Pokémon!" Ash snickered to the claim.

"Sounds a lot like PokéPizza back in Kanto," he recalled.

"Yeah, those guys do the same thing," Brock added. May and Max awed the comparison.

"Don't get us wrong," Ash eased. "PokéPizza is great and all… but in my personal opinion, I prefer my mom's homemade pies. Her Deep Dish Chili-Dog Pizza is one example." May nodded to Ash's briefing.

"That's understandable," she sided. Ash stepped forward and peered to the pizzeria ahead.

"Well, if this city's known for making the best pizza in all of Hoenn," he pondered. "I'm definitely down for it. What do you say, Pikachu?"

("Count me in!") the mouse squeaked. Brock put the guidebook away.

"Then let's check out the city and have lunch at the original pizzeria!"

"RIGHT!" cheered the rest. They entered the city and had shopped around a little for supplies. They reached a sign which had two "H" letters shaped like a hut. As they entered, poppers, confetti and horns rained down on them. A handful of people came to the group.

"Congratulations!" one blond man cheered. "You're our 1,000,000th customer!" The group became surprised with the show of gratitude.

"1,000,000th?" repeated Ash.

"That's right!"a brunette woman confirmed. "As the 1,000,000th customer, we're giving you the full course with your friends and Pokémon on the house!" The kids and Pikachu became excited. "Our Hoenn Hut special is called for!" Ash became curious to what the special was. As the blond escorted the kids to their seat, binoculars watched from afar.

"The twerps are having a smorgasbord for free!" a woman whined. The crimson-haired woman was with an ice-violet-haired man and a white cat with a gold oval coin embedded in the forehead. "It's not fair!" She stood to a kneel, revealing a white midriff/skirt uniform which bore an "R" emblem on the midriff. Her hair was slicked back far from her head. "That free meal should've been for us! They have money to get their own! We're starving!"

"Jessie, ya need ta be lucky ta get free meals like da twerps did," the cat briefed.

"I don't care about luck, Meowth!" snapped Jessie. "They should've given the free meal to us! We're broke!"

"Maybe if we rationed our savings instead of getting expensive traps the twerps keep destroying," the ice-violet-haired tried to reason. "We'd actually have full stomachs and no complaints!"

"Like you're one to talk, James!" snapped Jessie. "We need to get Pikachu and the food!" Inside, an extra large pizza with pepperoni, bacon, salami, onion, mushroom, green pepper, diced tomato-like pieces, basil and a few different cheeses. On the side was a basket of breadsticks and salads.

"Here's the Hoenn Hut Special!" the blond offered.

"There are pieces of Tamato Berries in it!" awed May. The brunette brought a small pizza for Pikachu with some Tamato Berry pieces, some pink/yellow pieces and some lime green pieces.

"I guess the pizza Pikachu has has Tamato, Figy and Sitrus berries," Brock studied. Pikachu grabbed a slice and bit into it. Enjoying the pizza, Pikachu chimed before eating it. Ash took a slice of the Special and bit into it.

"Well, Ash?" wondered Max. With a swallow, Ash expressed a happy sigh.

"Pretty close to the same quality as my mom's pizza, but it's really good!" he surveyed. The blond came by, curious to Ash's take.

"Oh, what's your mom's pizza?" he asked.

"Deep Dish Chili-Dog Pizza," Brock answered. "I had it with Misty back in Pallet Town." The blond cupped his chin as the brunette came by.

"You're not thinking of implying a new pizza," she guessed as she grabbed the blond by the earlobe. The sudden grab made the blond stop with a yelp.

"Okay, okay!" he surrendered. "I'll get the chocolate cake." May grew excited to the dessert.

"Chocolate cake!?" she repeated. The boys laughed.

"Oh, May..." chuckled Max.

"Ash, we should have the other Pokémon to have the pizza as well," Brock suggested.

"Yeah, they deserve the same treat," Ash agreed and started to reach, only to stop when the panicked squeak was heard. Everyone turned to see Jessie, James and Meowth with Pikachu held in a rubber glove on a retractable mechanical arm. "Pikachu!"

"Team Rocket!" growled Brock.

"Prepare for trouble while you enjoy your free meal," Jessie started.

"Make it double as Pikachu's part of the deal!" added James.

"But let's keep it real!" halted Meowth. "We'll take Pikachu and da food!" Pikachu squeezed his body, electricity emitting… but it faltered. Nothing came out. However, sparks started to emit from behind Team Rocket.

"You ruin the restaurant?" the blond argued. "You'll be working for the rest of your lives!"

"You'll have to catch us, first!" mocked Jessie as a blue screen of light appeared from behind. James brought out a bazooka.

"And let's not forget the feast!" he taunted as he pulled the trigger. A net shot from the bazooka and headed toward the pizza.

"No way!" the blond growled as he had a red/white ball in hand. "Scyther, Fury Swipes!" The ball opened and a green mantis with scythe-like arms appeared before hacking away with those arms. The net was torn to little strands. The trio gawked, realizing they couldn't reach the food. Panicked, there was little they could do.

"We need to amscray!" urged Meowth. The trio raced toward the screen. Ash wasn't going to let them out of sight.

"Pikachu!" he shouted as he dashed after the trio to save his friend.

"Ash, don't!" shouted Brock before going after his friend. Jessie, James, Meowth, Pikachu, Ash and Brock all entered the screen and disappeared.

"Let's go, Max!" urged May.

"Right!" agreed Max before they rushed at the screen, but it vanished as they dove for it. The two looked around with the blond and the brunette.

"Ash!?" called May. "Brock!?"

"Pikachu!" called Max. They seemingly vanished from sight. In another place was a power plant in a new city. Without warning on the nearby street, the land crumbled, uprooted by white tanks with drills in the front. They landed and from the tanks was someone clad in a purple tight suit with a silver helmet that had a blade on the crown. All you could see from it was eyes. He wore blades knee guards and shoulder pads as his knuckles were fitted with claws. Flapping on his back was a purple cape. He brought out a handheld device.

"Krang, we're at the power plant," he called.

"You should have all the equipment needed to siphon the energy from there, Shredder!" the voice on the other side croaked. On the small screen was a brain with a face and purple eyes. "I could only give you a few Foot Solders with the energy we still have in the Technodrome."

"Hopefully, we can get the Technodrome enough to keep it from going into the magma," Shredder believed. "Besides, I have a little surprise for the Turtles, should they interfere."

"You didn't just borrow the dimensional ray gun, did you!?" snapped Krang.

"If it works, we can conquer Earth and the Turtles will not foil another one of our plans," Shredder plotted.

"I see," Krang realized. "It's a fairly big risk if you're planning to send the Turtles to Dimension X!"

"Then you know what must be done," Shredder pondered as he turned the device off. He turned to a pair of anthropomorphic animals walking like him: a gray rhinoceros wearing a yellow tank top, camouflaged pants and an ammunition belt; and a brown warthog with sunglasses and a purple mohawk wearing a red vest, black pants and sneakers. "Rocksteady, Bebop, let's get the energy!"

"Right, boss!" the rhinoceros agreed.

"Let's save the Technodrome!" the warthog added as a few more people emerged wearing black tight suits and purple face coverings with a foot on top of their heads. As they passed the gates, a van rolled up with "CHANNEL 6" on the side. Inside was a redhead woman in a yellow suit with a white bracelet on her right wrist. She spotted the tanks and pulled out a handheld device that looked like a turtle shell. It opened.

"Leonardo, come in!" she called onto the device. "I found Shredder's Transport Modules. They're parked outside the County Power Plant."

"Thanks, April," a young man's voice called out. "We're anticipating them right now." To April, Leonardo was waiting in the Plant for Shredder.

"You were?" She shook her head.

"Just try to stay out of sight," Leonardo ordered. "We don't want you to get kidnapped." She closed the device and reached for a camcorder with a handle.

"Come on, Leonardo…" she grinned. "I'm not passing up a good scoop." She opened the door and with her white boots, she circled the gate and entered. Shredder had the group prepare for the siphoning.

"We need to hurry!" he urged. "The Turtles are bound to show up soon!"

"Like… now?" another young man's voice teased. Shredder gawked and looked up, finding four green anthropomorphic turtles wearing eye-masks, elbow and knee pads. The masks were of different colors and the belts around their waists had different letters: the one with "L" wore a blue mask, the one with "R" wore a red mask, the one with "M" had an orange mask and the one with "D" had a purple mask. The four jumped to the ground.

"The Turtles!" gasped Shredder. "But how!?"

"Well, this is the only Power Plant that you hadn't targeted yet," the red mask replied. Shredder wasn't ready to surrender so suddenly.

"It won't matter when we dine on Turtle Soup," he mocked. "Rocksteady, Bebop, after them!" The two chased after the turtles.

"With pleasure, Boss," the warthog accepted. The turtles brought out weapons: the blue masked wielded two swords, the red masked had sais, the orange masked twirled nunchakus and the purple one had a long staff with tape in the middle.

"Turtles, fight with honor!" the turtle in blue called out. The rhinoceros and the warthog threw the turtles in blue and red back to the turtles in orange and purple, knocking them down as April entered, her camcorder with the same "CHANNEL 6" on the side recording the action. Shredder brought out a large gun.

"Set them up so I can open a portal to rid the turtles for good!" he demanded. The turtle in orange flipped the warthog with a double kick before standing up and seeing the gun.

"Where, Shred-Head?" he nagged with a surfer accent. "Miami? I heard surfing competition was around the corner!" A black-garbed figure tried to attack with a rifle, but the turtle in red sprung back up and kicked the black-garbed down.

"Can we save vacation time until we get back to the lair, Michelangelo?" he suggested.

"Not for us, Raphael," Michelangelo sneered. "For Shred-Head and Krang!" Raphael snickered and turned to the fourth wall.

"That's turning the tables…" he joked. Shredder shot to the side and a blue glistening screen emerged.

"Now, throw them into the portal!" he demanded. The warthog lifted the turtle in purple by the waists.

"Too bad we couldn't let ya pack yer bags for dis trip," he snorted.

"Which is why I'm staying, Bebop!" the turtle responded with a kick to the chest. The kick freed the turtle and made Bebop stumble toward the portal. However, it was then that Jessie, James, Meowth and Pikachu flew out and slammed into the warthog. The blow knocked the arm out of Jessie's hands. Bebop stood as Team Rocket was down.

"Duh, what hit me?" he wondered as Ash finally emerged, falling onto Team Rocket. Seeing Pikachu, Ash opened the claw and scooped his friend.

"Thanks for the landing pad!" he taunted as he fled before Brock came in, applying his shoulder to cushion the fall, knocking Bebop down as the turtle in blue hacked Shredder's gun.

"NO!" he cried. The portal vanished. Knelt, Brock looked around at the fight going on.

"Okay, what's…" he tried to ask before Meowth stirred and saw the guns, running after Ash in fear. Brock saw the weapons as well before moving. "Never mind!" Jessie and James soon followed as April blinked to the commotion around downed Bebop.

"What was that?" she wondered before trying to sprint at the group. One of the black-garbed shot at April, stopping her and forcing her to hide. Bebop stood and looked behind him, seeing nothing.

"I was more dan coitan someone hit me in de back," he wondered. Gathered, Ash, Brock, Team Rocket and the Pokémon watched as they hid behind crates.

"Well, we found ourselves in a heck of a shindig," Jessie gulped.

"Yeah, what's going on?" asked Ash. Turtles, a rhinoceros, a warthog… What could the trainers do?
