Disclaimer: I don't own Code Geass, nor do I own Dino Crisis. If I owned either of them, I wouldn't be writing this.
A/N: I'm back, baby. I know it's been nearly five years, but college had taken up much of my time. Because Covid-19 sprung up, I had to put college on hold, and I had a shortage on my medication, both of which has forced me to not attend college for nearly three years. During these three years of freedom, I've been keeping myself busy by playing various games in my collection, in addition to reading, writing, community discussions, and even watching my programs on Toonami. I'm sorry for the long delay, and I intend to write more this time around.
I have other stories planned, which aren't listed on my bio page. Anyway, I have a treat for you all, which is obviously a crossover. There are some references, which fans of other franchises should be able to spot. Without any further ado, let's get this show on the road.

*Ibis Island, Protectorate of Borginia, Britannia, October 31st, 2017 ATB*
Above the waters of the Southern Ocean, a fleet of three Britannian transport planes were flying, while they approached an island, but they weren't the only ones en route to the island. Underneath the sea was a submarine, which had the insignia of the Black Knights on it. Hidden in the clouds was orange zeppelin, which had the flag of the URE painted on it. On the sea was a Chinese Federation iceberg ship, which moved at a slow and steady pace. Traveling more quickly on the water was a Chinese Federation landing craft, which had the insignia of Peace Mark painted onto it.
As the seven vessels approached dry land, the cargo holds of the Britannian aircraft opened up, which revealed 9-12 individuals in one of them, 6-9 individuals in the second one, and 5-6 individuals in the last one. On the plane with the 5-6 individuals were four men and two women, whom wore grey uniforms, in addition to black combat boots. The males' boots were average size, while the size of the women's boots were nearly knee length. Four of the individuals wore black ski masks, while the two pilots had helmets covering their faces. Three of the four passengers also wore combat vests, while the female passenger had a leotard shaped body armor.
The three male passengers had sleeves, while the female lacked sleeves. When it came to the lengths of their sleeves, two of the passengers had short sleeves, while the other male passenger had long sleeves, and the female passenger had grey long gloves. The female passenger adorned black fingerless gloves, which covered her long gloves. Like the female passenger, the male passengers too wore fingerless gloves. Unlike most of the passengers, only one of them wore elbow guards.
Three of the passengers had fair skin, while the other one had darker skin, which implied he had African roots, and the others were most likely of Caucasian origin. When it came to their heights, the dark skinned man was 5'8, and one of the other males were of average height, while the last male was 6'0. As for the woman, she was 5'9. The tallest one had a heavy, muscular build, while the woman and the other males had leaner builds. The passengers felt the air currents, while the pilot spoke, "Approaching drop zone."
While the passengers looked outside, the dark skinned one commented, "Feels like we got a little turbulence."
The passenger with elbow guards narrowed his eyes, while he reminded everyone, "Once we hit the ground, head straight for the designated convergence point."
The passenger with elbow then pressed his watch, which caused a five minute timer to activate, and he turned back to face his comrades, while he questioned them, "Got it?"
The other passengers nodded their heads at him, before the four of them jumped out of the aircraft, and they free-fell for more than forty-five seconds, which they followed up with releasing their parachutes. The four individuals floated steadily towards the ground, while they were followed by seventeen individuals, whom wore Britannian military uniforms. As the twenty-one individuals continued floating towards the ground, three of them were blown off course into the jungle, while the remaining eighteen individuals landed in a clearing, and they then detached their chutes. The man with shoulder pads then removed his ski mask, which revealed he had short, slick blonde hair. The blonde man waited, while the woman stood near him, before the darker toned man arrived, and he was no longer wearing his ski mask.
The man had cornrows, which were tied up into a ponytail. The man with cornrows stopped to catch his breath, while he apologized, "Sorry I'm late."
The blonde haired man sternly ordered his subordinates, "It's time. Move out."
The blonde then walked forward, while the woman removed her ski mask, revealing she had short red hair, which was styled as a bob cut, and her face showed she had some East Asian characteristics. The woman looked at the blonde, while she questioned him, "What about Cooper?"
Without stopping, nor turning around, the blonde man answered, "Forget him. Time's up."
The man with cornrows stared at the blonde aghast, while he stepped forward, in addition to desperately stretching out his left hand, and he stammered, "H-H-Hey. W-W-Wait."
*Jungles of Ibis Island*
A loud boom echoed in the distance, while the lone soldier turned his head in the direction of the noise, before he reached for his flashlight, but rustling in the bushes stopped him. The lone soldier aka Cooper carried a briefcase, while he cautiously stepped forward, before two Britannian soldiers stepped out from the bushes, and this caused Cooper to sigh in relief. The Britannian soldiers wore the standard grey infantry armor, which left their unitards mostly covered up. The soldiers had their assault rifles aimed at Cooper, before they realized he was an ally, and they lowered their rifles, while he sighed, "I'm sure glad to see you two. My name is Cooper, and I'm an agent from SORT. Please identify yourselves."
The two shock troopers stared at Cooper, while one of them responded in a professional manner, "Private Frost, and I report to Princess Marrybell."
The other soldier continued keeping his weapon lowered, while he immediately replied with equal professional etiquette, "I'm sergeant Dewey, and I answer to Princess Cornelia."
Cooper nodded his head, while he questioned them, "So you two also got blown off course?"
Without changing his tone, Frost answered, "Yeah. Sergeant Dewey and I were unlucky, especially since we're separated from our superiors."
Cooper opened his mouth, before the booming noise cut him off, which caused him to frown, and he upholstered his flashlight. Cooper immediately turned on his flashlight, while he pointed it in the direction of the noise, which resulted in Sergeant Dewey smacking the flashlight out of his right hand, and it landed on the ground. Private Frost immediately stomped on the flashlight, which caused it to crack, before it immediately shut off, and Cooper stared at them in appall. Without changing his expression, Cooper questioned them, "What was that for?"
Frost focused his attention on Cooper, while he angrily answered with his own question, "Have you lost your mind? Don't you know better than to use a flashlight in the middle of a jungle?"
Cooper blinked, while Dewey remarked, "For someone that managed to become part of a special forces unit, you're not too bright. There could be jaguars around here, and you should keep that in mind."
Cooper felt insulted, while he opened his mouth, but the shrubbery rustled around the three soldiers, which caused him to narrow his eyes. Cooper unholstered a pistol, while Dewey and Frost aimed their rifles at the bushes, before he too pointed his pistol at another bush. As the shrubbery continued rustling, four enemy soldiers came out, whom were from Area Eleven, the Chinese Federation, the URE and the MEF. In terms of appearance, the Black Knight wore the standard uniform, and he had short brown hair, which was partially covered by a red bandana. The Chinese soldier too wore infantry armor, which was pine green.
The armor also had plates, which created gaps in between sections of the armor. Despite hailing from the URE, the European soldier had East Asian characteristics, such as short black hair and brown eyes. The EU soldier wore the standard uniform, in addition to a red bandana tied around his arm. The Middle Eastern soldier had Arabic characteristics, which included short black hair, in addition to a rough and long beard. In terms of clothing, the Arab wore a white turban, a red military vest, a black shirt, green camouflage pants and a pair of black combat boots.
The Japanese was armed with a pistol, which he gripped tightly, while the Japanese European was also holding his own pistol, and the Chinese held an assault rifle. As for the Arab, he too held a pistol. The Britannians aimed their weapons at the enemy soldiers, while Dewey barked, "Identify yourselves."
The Japanese man glared at the Britannians, while he responded, "My name is Yoshida Toru, and I'm a commander of the Black Knights."
The Japanese European frowned, while he replied, "I'm Private Aoyama, and I'm a member of the W-0 Unit."
Because of the gas mask, the facial expressions of the Chinese soldier weren't visible, but she gave off an intimidating aura, while she replied, "You may refer to me as Joo Dee, and I'm a infantry-woman from the Chinese Federation."
The male Arab scowled, while he introduced himself, "As for my identity, you can call me Achmed al-Abood. When it comes to my occupation, I'm a member of Peace Mark."
The Britannians glared at the foreign soldiers, while continuing to aim their weapons at them, and vice versa, which didn't help matters. Before the situation could escalate between the Arab, Britannians, Chinese, European and Japanese, a loud roar was heard in the same distance as the booming noise, which caused the blood of the seven soldiers to run cold. The seven soldiers broke into a sprint, while rushing in the opposite direction of the roar. The seven soldiers kept running, while another loud roar emitted from the other side of the jungle, but it sounded closer this time, which meant something big was approaching the group. A large foot quickly crushed a the trunk of small tree, while a large beast rushed past more of the trees, which caused the nearby trees to rustle, and each step was like thunder.
The seven soldiers looked back as they ran, while they were greeted to something the size of a large knightmare frame, which was close to them, and what they saw filled them with terror. Right behind them was a large theropod, which should be extinct, but was clearly alive, while seeing the soldiers as its next meal. The beast was none other than a Tyrannosaurus Rex, which had opened its jaws, while it roared, and saliva flew out of its mouth. The hot breath of the tyrant king brushed against the seven soldiers, which nearly half of them were exposed to. It smelt like decaying flesh, which could make them feel nauseous, but they didn't throw up, because they were filled with adrenaline.
The seven soldiers kept running, while Toru tripped over a tree root, before he rolled over to see the foot of the tyrannosaurus right above him, and he begin to see his life flash before his eyes. As Toru screamed, the Tyrannosaurus stepped on him, which crushed his torso, and his body had become stuck to the sole of the behemoth's foot. Blood dripped from his corpse, while the T-Rex raised its leg, immediately before it planted its foot back onto the ground, and this pressed Toru against the dirt. The dinosaur took another step, which pressed Toru against the ground again, before the tyrannosaurus raised its foot again, but Toru had become unstuck from the T-Rex's foot. As Toru lay in a pool of blood, the tyrant lizard king kept chasing its prey, while opening its jaws, and it started to grab ahold of Aoyama.
As the jaws clamped around Aoyama, he screamed, while the tyrannosaurus lifted him up him up into the air, but the banana shaped teeth narrowly missed him. Out of desperation, Aoyama aimed his pistol at the dinosaur, before he shot at the beast, but it did little damage to the behemoth's thick skin. The tyrannosaurus rex was annoyed at the human, which caused it to throw him out of its jaws, and Aoyama flew, before he slammed into a tree, knocking the wind out of him. Aoyama coughed up blood, while he landed on the ground, but the tyrannosaurus ignored him, because it was chasing the other survivors. As the five soldiers kept sprinting, Cooper turned around, before he saw the T-Rex was nearly five feet behind him, and he dropped his briefcase.
Cooper raised his arms, while attempting to shield himself in a feeble manner, before the tyrannosaurus snatched Cooper up into its jaws, and the beast clamped down on it's meal. As Cooper's legs dangled from the T-Rex's mouth, blood dripped from it, while a loud crunch could be heard, and the dinosaur stopped running. The dinosaur swung its head from side to side, before it dropped Cooper's legs onto the ground, while it swallowed his torso, and the tyrant lizard king raised its head. As if to signify its dominance, the T-Rex bellowed, while the full moon lit up the jungle, and the beast redirected its attention to the the remaining three soldiers. The Tyrannosaurus Rex resumed sprinting after its prey, while they desperately continued running away from it, and they found a rope bridge, which dangled over a river.
On the the other side of the ravine were more trees, which had birds nestled in them. Thunderous footsteps emitted from behind the four soldiers, which caused ripples to form in the river, in addition to the birds squawking and flying out of the trees. Frost set foot onto the bridge first, before Dewey followed him, and Achmed quickly stepped onto the bridge, while Joo Dee prepared to step onto the bridge. Before Joo Dee could move an inch, she felt sharp pain. Without having a chance to turn around, the tyrannosaurus had grabbed the Chinese soldier with its mouth, before immediately clamping its jaws around her legs, hips and waist. Joo Dee screamed in agony, while a loud crunch could be heard, which severed her part of her legs and the upper part of her torso from the rest of her body.
As more blood dripped from the T-Rex's mouth, Joo Dee had stopped screaming, while part of her legs and the remainder of her torso dropped onto the ground. Once the Tyrannosaurus Rex swallowed part of Joo Dee's corpse, it turned its attention to Achmed, Dewey and Frost, whom were still running across the bridge, before it let out a thunderous roar. The T-Rex ran alongside the river, while it approached a slope, before it slowed down, and descended the elevated portion of land. By the time the tyrant lizard king had set foot onto flat land, it immediately stepped into the river, before it started to cross it, and the water was just below its thighs. When the dinosaur continued stepping through the running water, the liquid slushed, before the beast returned to dry land, and made its way over to another slope.
As soon as the Tyrannosaurus Rex set foot onto the slope, it had spotted Frost, Dewey and Achmed, whom had just crossed the bridge, which caused it to bellow. The T-Rex kept walking across the slope, before it made it back to higher ground, and it sprinted in the direction of the remaining two soldiers, while they continued running. As Achmed, Dewey and Frost ran, they heard the thunderous footsteps behind them, which terrified them. Achmed came to a halt, before he pulled the pin on a grenade, which he lifted into the air, and he turned around to face the Tyrannosaurus Rex. Achmed stood his ground, while he waited for the tyrannosaurus, which was heading right for him, and he just realized he had pulled the pin too early.
Achmed let out a scream of horror, while he was consumed in an explosion of flames and shrapnel. As Achmed's body blew up, his blood to splattered in the surrounding area. The tyrannosaurus quickly reached the spot of Achmed's blunder, which it came to a halt at, while it tilted its head in confusion, and it couldn't fathom why its prey burst into flames. The tyrannosaurus eyed the burnt shredded corpse, before it redirected its attention to Frost and Dewey. The behemoth roared, before immediately resumed sprinting in the direction of its prey, while it continued to pursue Dewey and Frost.
The two remaining soldiers kept running, while they spotted a crevice, which was behind a waterfall and this gave them a fleeting sense of hope. Frost and Dewey made a beeline towards the waterfall, while tyrannosaurus was hot on their tails. As soon as the two Britannian soldiers ran past the waterfall, they were hit with a dead end, which didn't sit well with them, and the thunderous footsteps were on the other side of running water. Dewey and Frost turned around, before they saw the T-Rex poke its head past the waterfall, while it roared at them. Frost and Dewey pushedtheir backs against the granite, while the tyrannosaurus couldn't reach them, which frustrated it.
As they kept pressing their backs against the dead end, a red, black and yellow snake had curled against the fabric of Frost's sleeve, which he had just noticed. Frost panicked, while he raised his voice, "Oh, crap! A snake. Please help me, Dewey."
Frost frantically waved his arms, while Dewey too raised his voice, "Stay back, Frost."
As Frost kept panicking, the Tyrannosaurus Rex had grabbed ahold of Frost's right arm, and he screamed, while he was lifted up into the air, dangling from the beast's mouth. Frost continued screaming, while the T-Rex pulled him out of the cave, before a crunching sound was heard, and the waterfall turned red. Frost's screams had ceased, while Dewey continued pressing his back against the granite dead end, before he felt a surge of anger overcome him, and he yelled. Dewey ran outside, while he noticed the tyrannosaurus ripping one of Frost's legs off his corpse, which was missing his head and an arm. Dewy aimed, before he opened fire on the behemoth.
The tyrannosaurus dropped the limb, while it spun around, before taking a quick step forward, and it grabbed Dewey by his legs. Because of the pain he felt, Dewey screamed, but that didn't prevent him from continuing to shoot at the beast, which annoyed it. As Dewey continued firing at the dinosaur, it had enough of his futile attempts. With the force of 431,000 psi, the tyrant lizard king bit down on Dewey, which resulted in even more blood dripping from the dinosaur's mouth, and the soldier felt his legs getting severed. Dewey fell onto the ground, while his screams became louder, and he looked on in horror at the loss of his legs, before he turned to the T-Rex.
As the Tyrannosaurus Rex swallowed both of Dewey's legs, it turned its attention back to the soldier, before it lowered its head at him, and he saw the jaws of death coming for him. Dewey closed his eyes, and he hoped it would be over soon.
*Ibis Island Research Facility*
The blonde, redhead and dark skinned soldiers scaled the chainlink fence, while their grappling hooks had a firm grip on the other side of the fence. As the three soldiers kept climbing, they eventually grabbed hold of the top, before pulling themselves over it, and they detached their grappling hooks. The three soldiers slung their grappling hooks over their shoulders, before they resumed climbing down, and then their feet touched the concrete, which threw followed up with unslinging the grappling hooks from their shoulders. The three soldiers then opened their packs, which they placed the grappling hooks into, before they closed their packets, and they prepared themselves for the next part of their mission. The three members of SORT turned their attention to the metal fences of the facility, while the blonde spoke up, "This is the first checkpoint. Playtime is officially over, kiddies."
The three soldiers walked forward, while they noticed a small building, which wasn't lit up, and this didn't sit well with them. The three soldiers came to a halt, while the blonde commented, "Something's wrong. The lights in the guardhouse are out."
In response, the soldier with cornrows replied, "Um, maybe this has been a wild night of partying for the guards. You know, a little song and dance."
The blonde soldier gave his comrade a stern glare, before he stepped towards the chainlink gate, ordering him, "Stay here, junior. Leave the guards to me."
The cornrow haired soldier felt offended, while the more muscular soldier opened the gate, which he walked past, and proceeded to close shut. The cornrow haired soldier turned toward his female comrade, while he stammered, "H-H-Hey, did you hear what he just called me?"
The woman looked at her comrade, shaking her head, while she answered, "Forget about it. Just let Gail handle this."
No sooner did she finish speaking, a green light blinked on the communicators of the man and women, while he responded, "Alright. It's clear."
The man and woman walked towards the gate, which he opened, before he stepped past it. The man released his grip on the chainlink gate, while the woman walked past it, before she grabbed and closed it shut. The woman and man halted, while he turned to face her, before he spoke, "Okay. Let's do this. I'll infiltrate the facility and occupy the control room on the first floor."
The woman stared at her comrade, while he added, "I should have access to all the security systems from there. I'll contact you as soon as I clear the room."
The man quickly saluted the woman, before he ran off in the direction of a doorway, which he opened, and then quickly set foot inside, immediately closing it. The redhead ran in the direction of the door, before she made it barely past Gail, but she stopped, while he spoke, "Rick can handle the inside of the facility on his own."
The redhead turned around, before she walked forward, and turned right, while going past the guardhouse. From this angle, there were broken windows, which had shards of glass on the concrete, and there was a set of doors right across the guardhouse. The redhead then approached Gail, whom was hunched over a couple of bloodstains and a few bullets, in addition to being near a hole in the fence. The redhead had stopped close to one of the blood stains, before she commented, "Let me guess. This is some of your handiwork, right."
Gail ran his fingers against the bullets, while he frowned as he replied, "Hmm. The bullets are still warm."
Gail then stood up, while he added, "These guards were shooting at something very recently."
The redhead stared at Gail, while she questioned him, "So, who were they fighting?"
Still frowning, Gail answered, "This wasn't much of a fight. I don't think these guards hit anything, before getting sliced and diced."
Gail and the redhead turned their attention to the hole in the chainlink fence, while he added, "Whatever they were shooting at came in through there, and ripped right through the steel fence."
The redhead too frowned, while she commented, "Well, the hole is nice and clean, but I still say you could have done this."
In a not so amused tone, Gail sternly replied, "Very funny. We still need to figure out what happened here. Continue to sweep the area."
Gail walked over towards a couple of more bullets, which he hunched over, while the redhead stared at him, and she thought, 'He is checking the ground.'
The redhead then walked towards the hole in the steel fence, which was made from the outside, and she frowned, while muttering, "It has been ripped apart with great force."
The redhead then apprised a crate, which she steadily pushed out of the way, before she found a hemostat, and she picked it up. The redhead then placed the hemostat in one of her pockets, before she ran back towards Gail. The redhead then looked at the glass shards, some of which were red, and she frowned, while thinking, 'The glass pieces are stained with blood.'
The redhead then turned to the double doors, which she approached, before opening them, and she was greeted to the sight of materials stored in inside. The redhead entered the storage area, before she closed the door behind her, while she gazed at the wooden crates, metal shelves, heavy bags and a forklift. The redhead then approached the bags, while she commented, "Bags of cement are stacked here."
The redhead stopped to glance at the shelves, while she remarked, "Nothing useful here."
The redhead turned to look at the forklift, while she commented, "It doesn't seem to be operational."
The redhead then walked around the forklift, before she noticed a key on a shelf, which were next to a stack of boxes, and she made her way over to the shelf. The redhead grabbed the key, which had the words "Backup Generator Area / Ground Level" carved into it. The redhead walked away from the shelf, before she turned her attention to the nearby boxes, which she walked over towards, and she uttered, "Common essentials for maintaining the facility."
The redhead then walked over to another shelf, which she pushed out of her way, before she approached another shelf, and it had a medical item on top of it. The redhead grabbed the item, which she placed into her packet, before she walked past the crates and boxes. The redhead approached the double doors, which she opened, before she set foot outside the storage room, and she closed the doors behind her. The redhead then turned left, before she walked past the guardhouse. The redhead proceeded to turn right, before she approached the chainlink fence, while her communicator blinked and beeped.
The redhead stopped, while she heard Rick's voice, "Rick here. I'm in. The place is deserted though. I have a very bad feeling about this."
The redhead held her communicator close to her left ear, while she responded, "How's the progress going with that security system?"
From his end of the call, Rick answered, "I don't know what's been going on here, but it looks like all the power in this facility's been cut."
The redhead frowned, while she replied, "Same here."
On the other side of the call, Rick responded, "As long as that's the situation, there's not a lot I can do. Why don't you see if you can gain access to the backup generators on the ground level?"
Without an ounce of hesitation, the redhead replied, "I'm on it."
The redhead heard footsteps from around the corner of the guardhouse, while she lowered her left arm, and she turned around to see Gail, whom stopped close to her, before she questioned him, "What are you doing here?"
With a stoic expression on his face, Gail answered, "I caught the last part of your conversation."
In a professional tone, the redhead responded, "By the way, I found a key."
Gail stretched out his hand, while he ordered the redhead, "Hand it over."
The redhead handed the key over to Gail, whom grasped it, before he pulled his hand away from her, and he pocketed the key, while he added, "Let's head outside."
Gail walked past the redhead, before he opened the chainlink door, which he opened and he walked into the backyard. Gail shut the door behind himself, before he continued walking, and the redhead approached the chainlink door, which she opened. The redhead entered the backyard of the facility, but Gail was nowhere in sight. The redhead walked forward, while noticing a second chainlink door and a sign, which she read aloud, "Large size fright elevator area. Watch your step."
The redhead turned around, before she walked forward, and she turned left, while noticing a third chainlink door. Next to the chainlink door was a sign, which the redhead read out loud, "Restricted area ahead: backup generator area."
The redhead stepped towards the chainlink door, which she pulled opened, and she set foot into the passageway to the backup generator, before she shut the door behind her. The redhead approached a couple of crates, which she commented on, "They must have been used to carry materials."
The redhead walked way from the crates, before she turned right, and she walked forward, which she followed up with a left turn. The redhead walked forward, before she turned right, and she came across a grizzly sight, which was the lower half of a security guard, whom was missing both of his feet. There were also a couple of blood trails, one of which led to the upper half of the dead security guard, whom was also missing both of his hands, and Gail was hunched over the upper half of the corpse, while he intently observed it. Regina stopped close to the legs of the security guard, before she lowered her left arm, and she put her left hand on her left hip, while she casually remarked, "That's disgusting."
The redhead approached Gail, and he commented, "This guy's been eviscerated. Something tore his intestines straight out."
The redhead stopped at the other side of the torso, before she kneeled, and she frowned, while she replied, "Look at those toothmarks. It had to be some sort of animal."
Gail turned to look to his right, before he shook his head, and then he got up, while he sternly ordered, "Okay. Let's move on.
Gail turned slightly to his left, before he walked on between two chainlink fences, while the redhead continued to kneel at he body, and she noticed the security guard had a medium sized medical pack. The redhead placed the medical pack into her packet, while she remarked, "The body appears to have been torn apart violently by sharp, blade-like projections."
The redhead got up, before she approached the legs of the guard, while she eyed them, and she uttered, "The state of the blood suggests that the victim died recently."
The redhead walked forward, while she approached three barrels, before she stopped. next to them, and she uttered, "They may have been used as a source of backup power, but they are empty.
The redhead's communicator blinked and beeped, while she brought her left arm close to her left ear, before Gail spoke softly, "Regina, it appears more than three Britannian units came to the island."
Regina frowned, while she grimly commented in a hushed tone, "I don't like the sound of that one bit. I'm on my way, Gail."
Regina slightly turned to her right, before she walked towards the concrete pathway surrounded by two chainlink fences, where she noticed Gail, and he was observing two pods. Regina got closer to Gail, before she stopped right next to him, and she kept frowning, while she remarked in a whisper, "That's certainly out of the ordinary"
Gail too frowned, while he commented quietly, "If you look closely, you can see a familiar insignia on the two pods."
Regina looked closer at the pods, while she noticed the insignia of the Black Knights on both of them, which she didn't like one bit, and she responded silently, "The situation just got worse, but I'm pretty sure the a couple of Black Knights didn't tear that lone guard to pieces."
Gail narrowed his eyes, while he replied in a hushed tone of voice, "True, but they're still our enemies. Remember, we're here to safeguard Dr. Kirk, and his research on Third Energy."
Regina frowned, while Gail added in the same whispered tone, "Because the Black Knights came here, the emperor deduced they would attempt to swipe the Third Energy data, which could also imply the United Republic of Europia, Chinese Federation and Peace Mark sent their own troops here too. It's a good thing Emperor Charles ordered Princess Cornelia, Princess Marrybell and their respective units to back us up, which should make completing the mission easier."
Regina kept frowning, while Gail continued in a quiet tone, "As for the other part of our mission, we are to capture Zero and bring him in alive. Failure is not an option. Do I make myself clear?"
Regina looked Gail in the eyes, while she answered softly, "Loud and clear."
Gail and Regina walked past the two pods, before they approached a door, which they stopped in front of it. Gail turned around, before he motioned toward the door. In a professional tone, Gail whispered, "I'll stand guard here. You go inside, and take a look around."
Regina nodded her head, before she walked past Gail, and she quietly opened the door, which greeted her to the interior of the first floor backup generator room. Regina walked inside the room, before she silently shut the door behind her, and she turned to a panel, which she thought about, 'A panel that controls the power of this room.'
Regina turned to her left, before she walked forward, and she approached a left turn, but a bulletin caught her eye. Regina to her right again, while she thought, 'It appears to be a notice. Avoid using the batteries from the other floor, and vice versa.'
Regina turned around, before she saw a younger redhead standing in front of a device, and she was wearing the uniform of the Black Knights, which caused Regina to duck behind the generator. With her back turned to Regina, younger redhead commented, "A battery charger. If I set the battery here, I can charge it."
The younger redhead turned to her left, before she walked away from the battery charger, and Regina sneaked around the corner of the generator, while she heard the footsteps of the Black Knight. Regina had stopped near the other corner of the generator, while she noticed a masked man staring at the batteries, which had the red, white, green and blue batteries from left to right. Regina recognized him as Zero, which caused her to unholster her pistol. Regina then pointed her pistol upwards, while the other redhead read a set of instructions, "Emergency backup power device reminder. Use the device to automatically set the batteries. Always remember to keep the batteries charged."
The younger redhead turned around, while Regina backed away from the corner of the generator, and the female member of the Black Knights approached the generator, before she remarked, "A power distribution device that distributes electricity to the various areas of the facility."
The younger redhead turns to her right, before she approached four levers, which had red, blue, green and white lined up from left to right. Regina bit her lip, while she thought, 'I have two choices here. I can take both Zero and his bodyguard on, while risking the equipment getting damaged. My other choice is to confront them, after they restore the power. Mmm. This is certainly not good, but I might as well go with option b.'
Zero kept staring at the four batteries, while he commented, "There are three buttons."
Zero pressed the right button, which swapped the positions of the blue and green batteries. Zero then pressed the center button, which switched the positions of the blue and white batteries, before he pressed the right button again. The white and green batteries swapped positions, before Zero ordered his subordinate, "Press the switch, Q-1."
The younger redhead pressed the switch, which caused the four levers to be lowered from left to right, while the lights beneath them lit up, and five lights were lit up on the generator. The generator roared to life, while Regina quickly rushed past the corner of the generator, before the older redhead aimed her pistol at Zero and the female member of the Black Knights. Q-1 and Zero turned to face Regina, while she raised her voice, "Freeze."
Zero and Q-1 raised their hands in the air, while Regina firmly spoke, "You with the spiky red hair, Identity yourself."
Q-1 glared at Regina, while the younger redhead responded, "My name is Kozuki Kallen, and I'm Zero's bodyguard."
Regina narrowed her eyes, while she remarked, "Interesting. While we're in this situation, why don't you take Zero's mask off?"
Kallen scowled, while she replied, "Like hell I will. I'd rather die than betray Zero. You can take your threat, and shove it up your a-"
Gunfire was heard outside, which caught the attention of Zero, Kallen and Regina, all of whom knew something was wrong. When a groan was heard, Regina, Kallen and Zero had a bad feeling about the situation. Regina raised her gun, while she spoke out of concern, "Gail."
Without thinking, Regina rushed towards the exit, and she quickly opened the door, while noticing Gail was nowhere in sight. Regina stepped outside, while she didn't bother to close the door, which she released, and she tightened her grip on her gun. Regina's eyes darted around the area, while Kallen and Zero stepped outside, before they unholstered their pistols. Kallen, Zero and Regina noticed another blood trail, which led to a hole on the fence to their right. The fence was clearly torn open from inside the perimeter, which reminded Regina of the hole on the other side of the facility, while Kallen and her narrowed their eyes.
Zero, Kallen and Regina approached the hole in the fence, while they pointed their pistols upward. A thud was heard to their right, which caused the three of them to halt, before they aimed their pistols in direction of the noise, and they resumed walking forward. Regina, Kallen and Zero pointed their weapons upward, before a hiss was heard to their left, which caused them to aim their guns in the direction of the other noise. Kallen, Zero and Regina now knew without a doubt that they weren't alone, which made the uneasy feeling they had become worse. Regina, Kallen and Zero also didn't see what made the hiss, which made the situation more tense for them.
Regina, Zero and Kallen pointed their weapons up in the air, while they resumed walking towards the hole, which they stopped in front of. Regina kneeled in front of the hole, before she gazed at the sheer drop on the others side, while Kallen and Zero stood behind the SORT agent. Without any consideration, Regina shouted, "Gail."
Kallen stared at Regina like she was an idiot, while the SORT agent stood back up, and the female member of the Black Knights narrowed her eyes, before she whispered angrily, "What the hell is wrong with you? Have you forgotten the situation we're in?"
Regina too narrowed her eyes, while Kallen continued in the same tone, "For all we know, a lion or jaguar could be nearby, which could try to make us its next meal, because you're giving away our location like an idiot."
Regina glared at Kallen, while she opened her mouth, but a growl emitted in the same direction as the hiss, which caught their attention. Kallen, Regina and Zero turned in the direction of the two pieces of the corpse, which they walked towards, before they stopped dead in their tracks. The two halves of the corpse were missing, and a blood trail led down the pathway, which raised some red flags, while Zero spoke in a hushed tone, "There's definitely a predatory animal nearby, and we're nothing but prey to it. Keep your guard up."
Kallen and Regina narrowed their eyes, while they heard thumps, which were coming from the same direction as the animal. Zero, Regina and Kallen looked up, before they were greeted to a shocking sight, which was a medium sized theropod jumping off one of the shipping containers. The dinosaur landed in front of Zero, Kallen and Regina, while the latter two stared in shock. Behind his mask, Zero too was in shock at the prehistoric animal, which was a raptor of some kind, and it drooled at the sight of fresh prey. Regina, Zero and Kallen stepped back, while the raptor flicked its tail, before it snapped its jaws as it hissed.
The raptor lunged at the trio, before Regina jumped to her left, while Kallen and Zero jumped to their right. The raptor missed its mark, while it slowed down, before it hissed in anger, and it quickly turned around to look at the three humans. Regina, Kallen and Zero aimed their pistols at the dinosaur, while it rushed at Regina, whom pulled the trigger, which fired a bullet at it. The bullet struck the raptor, which caused it to emit a cry of pain, while blood seeped out of its wound, but this didn't stop it from closing the distance between them. Before she could fire a second shot, the raptor had used its claws to slash Regina, whom grunted in pain, while blood seeped from her right shoulder, and the prehistoric predator opened its mouth in an attempt to bite her.
As the raptor brought its mouth close to Regina's face, a couple of bangs emitted in Zero and Kallen's direction, while the medium sized theropod yelped in pain. Blood seeped out of two more wounds, while the raptor quickly turned to face Zero and his bodyguard. Regina quickly ducked, while narrowly missing the swing of the beast's tail, and the raptor hissed at the rebels, which it followed up with lunging at them. Kallen jumped to her right, while Zero jumped to his left, and the beast made a beeline for Zero, before it closed the distance between them. The raptor bit onto Zero's right arm, while he grunted in pain as the teeth pierced his suit, skin and muscles, which caused blood to seep out of his arm.
The raptor shook Zero by his right arm, while he had trouble pointing his gun at the prehistoric carnivore, and he struggled to break free from its grasp, before he found an opening. Zero quickly pulled the trigger, which fired a bullet into the flesh of the dinosaur, and it yelped in pain, before it slammed Zero face first into the ground. Zero's gun flew out of his hands, before it landed next to Regina, whom got back up, while she lined up another shot, and Kallen too aimed her firearm at the raptor. Zero's mask cracked, which caused Kallen and Regina to frown, while the dinosaur prepared to tear Zero's arm apart. Regina and Kallen pulled their triggers again, which resulted in more bullets piercing the skin of the raptor, in addition to more blood seeping from its wounds.
The raptor yelped in pain, while it released Zero, before it rushed at Kallen, whom pulled the trigger again, and another bullet fired from the barrel of her gun. The bullet pierced the hide of the raptor, while more blood seeped from its additional wound, and it quickly closed the distance between them, before it used one of its sickle toes to slash her right leg. Kallen grunted in pain, while the beast brought its foot back to the ground, before it opened its mouth, and snapped its jaws towards her stomach. Before the beast could take a bite out of Kallen, two bangs emitted in Regina's direction, while she was holding both her gun and Zero's gun. Blood seeped from two extra wounds, while the raptor let out a cry of pain, before it quickly turned around to face Regina, and Kallen quickly ducked.
The tails of the dinosaur missed Kallen, while the raptor hissed at Regina, before it ran towards her, and she continued to shoot it. More bullets pierced the hide of the raptor, while it kept bleeding, which didn't slow it down, and it quickly closed the distance. The raptor opened its jaws, while it prepared to prepared to bite Regina, before it snapped its jaws at her left arm, but it halted. The raptor collapsed onto the ground, while more blood seeped out of it, and the plasma flowed around it, which formed pool of red. The raptor stopped moving, which caused the SORT agent to sigh in relief, before she looked at Zero and Kallen.
Regina frowned, while she questioned Kallen and Zero, "Are you two alright?"
Kallen scowled, while she snapped, "Does it look like we're not hurt?"
Regina shook her head, while Kallen redirected her attention to Zero, and she looked at him out of concern, before she approached him. Zero held onto his right arm, while he raised himself off the ground, which caused pieces of his mask to start chipping away, and Kallen stopped right beside him. Regina narrowed her eyes, while Zero continued to get up, before he stood back up, and it his mask shattered into three large pieces. Underneath the mask of the revolutionary was a boy with short black hair, violet eyes and fair skin, which shocked the redheads. Because of the damage to his mask, his forehead started to bleed, while blood trickled across it, but he ignored it.
Kallen and Regina froze, while the former commented, "Well, now. I certainly wasn't expecting Zero to be a boy, especially a Caucasian."
Zero frowned, while Regina added, "If I had to guess, I'd say you're either an Australian, Britannian or European."
Zero narrowed his eyes, while he responded, "Britannian, and my name is L-"
"Lelouch Lamperouge?", Kallen had cut Zero off, while she continued, "How in the hell can you be Zero?! I heard your voice over the phone in the bathroom, while you were present. This doesn't add up, so you had better explain yourself."
Regina raised an eyebrow, while she curiously stared at Kallen and Lelouch, which they ignored. Lelouch turned to face Kallen, while he resumed speaking, "It was a recording of my voice, which I had Sayoko play over the phone."
Kallen's eyes widened, while Regina frowned, before Lelouch redirected his attention to the SORT agent, and he added, "The name my bodyguard referred to me by earlier is indeed correct."
Regina narrowed her eyes, while she replied, "Intriguing. You're quite deceptive, and I can now understand why you hid your face from so many people. After all, why would the Japanese trust a Britannian?"
Lelouch and Kallen narrowed their eyes, while Regina added, "By the way, what was that about you two being in a restroom?"
Kallen blushed, while Lelouch answered, "It's best not to tell you that, because it would arouse the ire of Kallen."
Kallen kept blushing, while Regina smirked, and the younger redhead clenched her fists, before she angrily questioned the older redhead, "Do you find something funny?"
Regina continued to smirk, while she answered, "Maybe."
Kallen scowled, while she responded, "Despite being part East Asian, you have managed to get under my skin."
Regina resisted the urge to snigger, while she replied, "You're certainly feisty. Anyway, my name is Regina."
Kallen unclenched her fists, while she sighed, "Well, Regina, I'm grateful that you helped Lelouch and I put that overgrown lizard down. Of course, I can't speak for Lelouch, because he's a jerk."
Regina raised an eyebrow, while she directed her attention to Lelouch, whom walked away from Kallen, before he stopped close to the corpse of the prehistoric animal, and he commented, "Kallen, I'm very certain that's no lizard."
Kallen raised an eyebrow, while Lelouch added, "Based on its odd, primitive physiology, it appears to be a dinosaur."
Kallen's eyes widened, while Regina responded, "Yup. That fits the description of what we just encountered."
Kallen looked at the corpse of the beast, while she questioned Regina and Lelouch, "Dinosaur? That can't be possible, because dinosaurs went extinct sixty-five million years ago."
Lelouch frowned, while he replied, "True, but there's one in our presence. If there's one, there might be more."
Kallen and Regina too frowned at the revelation, while Lelouch continued, "It would be best for us to head inside the facility, where we can find shelter, and regroup with our comrades, which should give us a chance to gather intel on why something extinct is still alive."
Kallen stood firm, while she responded, "Understood, Lelouch."
Regina shook her head, while she replied, "We don't have much of a choice, but I have a feeling the mission is already heading south."
Regina handed Lelouch's gun back to him, while he stared at her stoically. Kallen gave Regina a puzzled look, while the SORT agent spoke, "Zero, if what you said is true, it would be pointless for me to apprehend you and your bodyguard right now, because a group of dinosaurs would be an unnecessarily complication."
Kallen glared at Regina, and Lelouch accepted his pistol, which he pulled away from the SORT agent, while he said, "Thank you, but this doesn't change the fact that we're your enemies."
Regina frowned, while she responded, "You're welcome, and same here."
Lelouch, Kallen and Regina proceeded to walk down the pathway, before they came across the upper half of the corpse from earlier, which caused them to frown. Kallen, Lelouch and Regina then walked right past the corpse, before they eventually reached the chainlink door, which the older woman opened. Kallen and Lelouch walked into the backyard, before Regina followed them, before she stopped to close the steel door shut. Lelouch, Kallen and Regina walked towards the door to the steel door to their left, before the younger woman opened it. Lelouch and Regina set foot inside of the backyard of the facility, before Kallen followed them.
Kallen proceeded to close the chainlink door behind her, before Regina's communicator went off, which Lelouch and his bodyguard frowned at. Kallen aimed her pistol at Regina, while Lelouch put a hand in front of her, before she gave him a puzzled look, and the older woman quickly raised her left arm close to her ear. As Regina held her arm up, Rick spoke through the communicator, "Good news. I got the control system back online. What's the situation over there?"
Lelouch and Kallen observed, while Regina blurted out, "It's Gail. I lost him."
From the other end of the call, Rick chuckled, "So, what's the bad news? Did you run into some guards?"
As her mind raced, Regina answered, "You're not gonna believe this. He was attacked by some kind of dinosaur."
From the his end of the conversation, Rick heartily laughed, "Now that's a good one. So, who was it? A certain purple dinosaur?"
Regina felt insulted, while she shot back, "This isn't a joke, you idiot. We were just attacked by a big-ass lizard."
From his end of the call, Rick changed his tone to a more serious one, "For real? What's going on over there?"
Regina narrowed her eyes as she remained silent, while Rick added, "Alright. Head over to the control room, and we'll sort out this whole situation."
Before Rick could end the call, Regina said, "When Gail was attacked, I had run into Zero and his bodyguard."
In response to Regina's words, Rick questioned her, "Wait? Are you serious?"
Kallen glared at Regina, while Lelouch frowned. Regina sighed, before she answered, "Yes. They're with me, but they were injured in the scuffle with the large animal."
Kallen glanced at Lelouch, while he shook his head, before she holstered her pistol, and Rick replied, "I see. This could change things, especially since I'm not alone in the control room."
Regina narrowed her eyes, while Rick continued, "With me are Princess Cornelia, General Darlton, Sir Guilford, and two civilians."
Regina frowned, while she uttered, "That's good. They'll know how to handle the situation, especially since Gail is either MIA or KIA. I'll tell you more later."
Regina need the conversation with her comrade, before she turned around to face Kallen and Lelouch. Kallen glared at Regina, while Lelouch had a stoic expression on his face, the former of which the older woman ignored, and the SORT agent broke the ice, "Because you're both injured, it would be in your best interest to find somewhere to hunker down at. Along the way, I have to meet my comrade and superiors at the control room."
Kallen scowled, while she responded, "If you think I'm going to meet a Britannian princess, you must take me for a fool."
Regina narrowed her eyes, while Kallen opened her mouth to resume speaking, but Lelouch stepped forward, before he cut her off, "I think Regina has a point, Kallen."
Kallen looked at Lelouch like he was crazy, while he added, "If we continue to remain outside, we're bound to suffer another attack. For the time being, we should still seek shelter inside, where we can treat our wounds and rest."
Kallen hung her head, before she sighed, "Fine. You made your point, Lelouch."
Kallen raised her head, while Lelouch turned to speak with Regina, "Lead the way."
Regina simply nodded her head, before she turned her back to Lelouch and Kallen. Regina, Kallen and Lelouch walked over to the door up ahead, which the SORT agent opened, before the two Black entered the office hallway. Regina then entered the hallway, before she closed the door behind her, which she followed up up with walking past Kallen and Lelouch. Lelouch and Kallen followed Regina, while they made a left turn. An all too familiar growling was heard outside one of the glass screens, which caused Regina, Lelouch and Kallen to halt, before the latter unholstered her pistol.
The trio aimed their weapons in the direction of the source of the noise, but they saw nothing, while they raised their weapons, before they walked forward. They stopped in front of a board, which had papers pinned to it. Lelouch, Regina and Kallen observed the notes, which the latter silently commented on, "A notice is posted. 10:00 AM. Dr. Kirk's lecture: The future of the stabilizer."
Kallen, Lelouch and Regina turned to their right, while the growling continued. Regina, Kallen and Lelouch resumed walking, while they approached a row or horizontal lasers, which were in between two keypads on the wall. In front of the wall of lasers was an air duct vent, which was on the floor. Regina, Lelouch and Kallen stopped right next to the vent, which they looked at, before they raised their heads to stare at the opening in the ceiling. Lelouch, Kallen and Regina kept looking at the hole, while the SORT agent thought, 'It's a ventilation opening. I believe I can reach reach it by climbing.'
Regina reached into her packet, before she pulled out a grappling hook, which was attached to a steel cable, and she threw into the ventilation opening. When the grappling hook snagged against something, Regina tugged the steel cable, which she felt was secure, and she attached the other end of her grappling hook to her belt. Regina then grabbed onto the cable, which she started to climb, while she looked up, and she eventually poked her head above the other end of the ventilation opening. Regina took notice of the ventilation height being more than six feet, which surprised her, before she released her grappling hook from the two pipes. Regina then looked down into the ventilation opening, before she grabbed onto a nearby pipe, and she lowered her grappling hook down the shaft, which was soon close to the ground.
Lelouch and Kallen looked at it, while Regina spoke in a hushed tone, "Climb up the cable one at a time. When one of you has joined me up here, I'll tug the cable, which should serve as a signal, but we need to determine who will go first."
Kallen and Lelouch looked at each other, while the redhead whispered, "Lelouch, you go first."
Lelouch had a stoic expression, while he quietly replied, "If you insist, then it shall occur."
Kallen nodded her head, before Lelouch grabbed onto the steel cable, which he began ascending, and he quickly climbed through the opening. Once Lelouch raised his head through the other end of the ventilation opening, he grabbed onto the edges, before he pulled himself up, and the he climbed into the ventilation shaft. Regina proceeded to tug at the steel cable, which Kallen grabbed ahold of, before she started climbing it, and Lelouch stepped forward enough to give Kallen some space. As Kallen kept ascending the cable, she soon reached the other end of the ventilation, before she grabbed onto the edges, and she too pulled herself up. When Kallen climbed into the ventilation, she proceeded to look at Lelouch and Regina, whom pulled her grappling hook back up, before she unhooked it from her belt.
Regina then placed her grappling hook into her pack, before she closed it. Regina turned around, before Lelouch, Kallen and her stepped forward, while they formed a single file line. The trio then took a right turn, before they came across two large metal boxes, which they stopped in front of, and the younger girl commented, "These devices control the elevator of the facility."
Kallen, Regina and Lelouch resumed walking, before they came across another ventilation opening, which they proceeded to kneel in front of. Regina reopened her packet, before she reached inside, and pulled her grappling hook back out, which she reattached to her belt. Regina grabbed onto a couple of nearby pipes, which she slung her grappling hook around, before she tugged it, and then she proceeded to fast rope down the ventilation opening. Regina landed on a grate, while a door was behind her. Regina found herself in the control room hall, before she tugged at the cable, which Lelouch grabbed onto, and she spoke, "Alright then. Just remove the grappling hook from the pipes, and I'll help you get down."
From inside the vent, Kallen scowled, "How are we supposed to get down there? Do you expect us to jump, before you'll catch us?"
Regina smirked, while she responded, "Precisely. You could always slide down the ventilation, and I'll still catch both of you."
Kallen's left eye twitched, while Lelouch replied, "Very well. I'll go first, then Kallen can go last again."
Kallen calmed down a bit, while she nodded her head, before Lelouch grabbed the grappling hook, and he unhooked it from the pipes. Lelouch threw the grappling down to Regina, before she unhooked it from her belt, and she proceeded to put it back into her pack, which she shut. Regina immediately holstered her pistol, while Lelouch and Kallen too holstered their pistols. Regina then looked up, while she stretched out of her arms, before she slightly stepped back, and Lelouch slid down the ventilation shaft. Lelouch immediately dropped out of the ventilation shaft, before he landed in Regina's arms, and she held him bridal style, which annoyed him.
Regina smirked, while she lowered her arms, and she brought him closer to the ground, before his feet touched the steel floor. Regina immediately released Lelouch, before he walked away from her, and she stretched her arms arms out again, while Kallen took a deep breath. Kallen jumped down the shaft, before she landed in Regina's arms, and the older redhead also held her bridal style, which made the younger redhead blush. Regina kept smirking, while lowered her arms, before Kallen's feet touched the ground, and she released her. Lelouch, Kallen and Regina walked forward, before stopping in front of a sign, which had the following words printed on it, "Right: control room 1F."
Lelouch, Kallen and Regina turned right, before they resumed walking. When the three of them were in front of a door, the former stopped in front of it, while the latter kept walking forward, and she halted close to a pack of ammo. Regina recognized them as 9mm parabellum, which she knelt in front of, before she grabbed the ammo pack, and she stood neck up. Regina immediately opened her pack, which she placed her ammo into, before she closed her packet shut, and she walked from the steel shutter blocking the way to her left. Regina turned around, before she returned to the doorway Lelouch and Kallen were standing in front of.
Regina punched in a set of numbers on the keypad, before a green light on the keypad blinked, and the keypad immediately beeped, which was followed by the door sliding open. The trio walked inside of the control room, where they were greeted to the sight of Rick, three Britannian military officials, and two civilians. The britannian military officials consisted of two tall men and a tall woman, all of whom wore maroon uniforms. The civilians consisted of two women, whom wore the standard Ashford Academy high school female uniforms. The oldest of the two women had blue eyes and long blonde hair.
The younger of the two girls adorned a pair of glasses, in addition to having indigo eyes and green hair, which were tied up into two pigtails. The tallest of the men had a diagonal scar across on his face, in addition to light brown hair and black eyes. The second tallest of the men wore glasses, in addition to having light blue eyes and long black hair, which was tied up in a ponytail. The woman had had long fuchsia hair, in addition purple eyes and purple lipstick. The tallest of the men was Andreas Darlton, while the second tallest of the men was none other than Gilbert G.P. Guilford.
As for the woman, she was none other Cornelia li Britannia, whom was the second princess of Britannia, and fourth in line to the throne. Cornelia, Darlton, Guilford and the two civilians stared in shock, while Rick dropped his jaw. The door immediately closed, while Rick remarked, "Well, I'll be. You really did catch Zero, but I never expected him to be a schoolboy."
Regina made eye contact with Rick, while she responded, "Yeah. I know it's hard to believe, but he's here in the flesh."
Rick nodded his head, before he turned his head to questioned Lelouch, "So, you're the infamous leader of the Black Knights. What's your name, Zero?"
Lelouch had a stoic expression, while he answered, "Le-"
"It can't be." Darlton had cut Lelouch off, while he continued, "Prince Lelouch?"
Guilford's eyes widened, while Cornelia questioned Zero, "Lelouch? You're alive? How is this even possible?"
Rick, Kallen and Regina felt confused, but they continued listening. Lelouch remained calm, while he replied, "Yes, dear sister. It is I, Lelouch vi Britannia. Eleventh prince of Britannia, and seventeenth in line to the throne. I'm still breathing, no thanks to the emperor. I survived the invasion of Japan, because I was too stubborn to die, and I have reasons to live, one of which is revenge against Britannia."
