Chapter 1.
Third person POV
No POV.
A 9 year old child with white hair and red and blue pupils was seen sitting alone under a tree.
He is Araki, a child in an orphanage who was found by the orphanage guard in front of the orphanage 9 years ago.
Araki likes to be alone at night while looking at the stars in the sky. Suddenly he heard the sound of footsteps approaching him.
"Araki, tomorrow there will be family to take care of you." Said the orphanage caretaker.
Araki quickly looked at the orphanage caretaker and smiled cheerfully.
"Really, auntie?" Araki asked enthusiastically.
"That's right, Araki. They'll be here tomorrow." Replied the orphanage caretaker.
Araki was very happy to hear that there would be a family to take care of him. Since childhood, Araki didn't even know who his parents were. The orphanage guards only told him that they found him at the door of the orphanage with a letter bearing only his name.
Araki also often received bullying from children at the orphanage by throwing stones at him. Meanwhile, Araki was silent and did not reply, he could only surrender to God about his sad fate.
"Are you okay?"...
...
Araki suddenly flinched when the orphanage guard clapped his hands right in front of his face.
"Araki? You were spacing out? Is everything okay?" Asked the caretaker of the orphanage.
"No, auntie." Araki quickly answered while shaking his head.
The orphanage caretaker just smiled at Araki and told him to get some sleep so he wouldn't oversleep tomorrow when he met his new family.
Araki went into his room and packed his clothes which he felt could still be used later. Araki took out a necklace from under his clothes and looked at him with a sad face.
"Father, Mother... Why did you leave me??" Araki asked while sobbing.
Araki quickly wiped his tears and went to sleep.
The next day, Araki woke up and immediately took a shower to prepare to meet his new family.
"Araki, are you ready to meet your new family?" Asked the caretaker of the orphanage.
"Yes auntie." Araki quickly answered with a big smile.
The orphanage caretaker gently took Araki's hand and walked out of the room towards his new family.
Araki saw two men and a woman looking at him with smiles full of affection.
"They are your new family, Araki. Say hello." Said the orphanage guard with a smile towards Araki.
Araki awkwardly walked up to his new family and said hello.
"Ha-hello. My name is Araki." Kaeya said awkwardly.
"Hello Araki!! Now you will be our son and live with us." Said the woman in front of him.
"That's right. From now on we are your mother and father." Said the man in front of him.
Araki quickly looked at them and cried while smiling as they started to hug him.
They held Araki's hand and led him to his new home with his new family.
Araki suddenly stopped and looked back to where the orphanage guard was standing.
"Aunt!!" Araki shouted as he ran towards the orphanage guard.
Araki's new parents looked at each other before smiling when they saw him hugging the orphanage caretaker while crying.
"Auntie, thank you for taking care of me all this time." Araki said sobbing while hugging the body of the orphanage guard.
"You're welcome, Araki. Seeing you happy is auntie's greatest joy." Said the orphanage guard with teary eyes looking directly at Araki.
Araki let go of his arms from the orphanage caretaker's aunt and walked towards his parents.
Araki looked back and waved with the biggest smile he had ever given anyone.
"Thank you, Auntie. Please take care of this, so that you will always remember me." Araki gave his necklace to the orphanage caretaker.
"Thank you, Araki. Auntie will take care of this forever." Aunt replied with teary eyes.
