"Alright Wednesday. We're here!"
Looking out of the car window, Wednesday Addams was confronted by a bright school yard with teenagers littered everywhere. A few boys were snickering at girls who had their skirts a little too short and some teens were sitting on the ground protesting with big signs reading 'GIVE US BACK OUR ART PROGRAM!'
How boring.
"Well, this school certainly is... something," Morticia commented through gritted teeth.
"Yes," Wednesday replied. "Something I do not want to be a part of."
"I'm sorry Wednesday. You know I would have put you in Nevermoore if I could. It was such a shame that it burnt down. All those school memories... lost forever in flames."
Morticia was staring off into the distance with a whimsical look on her face. She usually acted like that when she talked about Nevermoore.
Lurch, the Addams butler, came out of the driver's seat and opened the door for Morticia and Wednesday.
"Thank you Lurch," Morticia said.
Lurch grunted in acknowledgement.
Reluctantly, Wednesday climbed out of the car and took a moment to look around her. A bright yellow school bus parked near her car: an old, long, black car probably from the 1600s.
Out of the school bus stepped a stream of students. But three girls in particular caught Wednesday's eye. The first that came out had blonde hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a short hot pink skirt paired with a long sleeve light pink shirt, with a purple bow on it.
The next one had brown hair and wore a tan mini skirt and a pink mid-drift top.
And the final one had two boys on either side of her. She had blonde hair and was wearing a white shirt with the words 'a little bit dramatic' printed on it. Like the first one she also had a short, pink skirt paired with a pink jacket.
They were making Wednesday's eyes hurt. They just looked so... plastic.
