Controlled Chaos Forger of Worlds

Chapter 1

Harry James Potter floated crossed-legged above the platform that assisted in his rebirth as it slowly crumbled around him, transforming into white specks of light that sank into his body.

It'd been a year since he'd been resurrected, and in that time, his parents had trained him to control his new powers and told him about the request he would have to fulfill to return to his universe.

Slowly, he opened his eyes. His Emerald green irises burned with a blue-white light as skeletal wings burst from his back. As the platform around him sank into his body, white feathers appeared on the wings, filling them in.

Harry's gaze panned around the platform, a frown twisting his lips as he compared how much of it was left to the number of feathers on his wings. "It looks like I will need more energy to fill my wings."

"You should be able to get that from the version of Gaia you will be helping and Lady Phoenix."

Harry looked up to find both his parents floating before him, "I take it you're leaving now."

His father nodded, "Yes, it's time we returned to our multiverse and showed the other Lords of order and chaos that unity and cooperation can be achieved."

His mother floated forward, tears glimmering in her Emerald eyes as she placed a trembling hand on his cheek, "My baby, I wish you would reconsider and come with us."

Harry placed his hand on his mother's, "I would, but there are things I need to finish here."

His father moved closer, "Are they worth risking your life for?"

Harry shook his head, "I can't say yet."

His father snorted, "Foolish, but you are grown and can make your own decisions."

Though his words were a bit harsh, Harry could sense the worries behind them; he inclined his head, "I will be careful."

His father glanced at the shimmering veil that separated the two multi-verses, "Once we cross that boundary, we will have a hard time returning."

"I know," Harry stood to his feet as the last bits of the platform disappeared. An ankh surrounded by flames burst to life on his forehead before flaking away and entering his wings. His wings flared out from his body, shining with blue-white light before sinking into his back.

"Hopefully, when my work is done, I can bring some people from New Haven to your multiverse, and together we seed your multiverse with new life."

A tearful smile spread across Lily's face, "Grandbabies!"

Harry's eyes widened, "That's not what I…"

His father rubbed his chin, one corner of his mouth rising in a smirk, "Now that would be interesting; you're something unique in the universe; we wouldn't want that to be lost."

Harry ran a hand down his face; this was not how he thought his goodbye to his parents would go.

Straightening, Harry took in his parent's features, making sure to burn them into his mind since this would probably be the last time he saw them for many years at least.

Little had changed about his parents in the year since they had been reunited.

His mother, Terataya, formally known as Lily Potter, stood 5'6" tall, curvy with a moderate bust, long red hair that danced around a heart-shaped face, and Emerald eyes. Blue robes flowed over her body, the gold accents shining in the aura of yellow that danced on her body like flames.

His father T'Charr, formally known as Henry Potter, stood beside his mother, his large hand clasping her smaller one. He stood 6'1" tall. Red robes were draped over broad shoulders. Black trim outlined a well-muscled physique.

A band of rose gold around his forehead kept his short blonde hair neat.

T'Charr cleared his throat, his blue eyes stared into Harry's Emerald green, "Are you sure you don't want to come with us?"

Harry glanced over his shoulder, through the transparent barrier that separated the two multi-verses and at the truly massive sphere containing the galaxies of his parent's home multiverse.

Harry's fingers twitched. Part of him wanted to explore the unknown to see new things, but he had a people to bring out of oppression and a society to guard.

As her son thought over her husband's question, Terataya moved forward, memorizing every inch of her son.

Harry had changed a lot since the ritual; the features he had inherited from their vessels had almost disappeared.

Harry James Potter stood 6'2" tall. Like his father, he had broad shoulders and a physique packed with thick muscle. Tan skin drew attention to his Emerald eyes and short snow-white hair.

A loose white shirt and pants hung off his frame.

Turning back to his parents, Harry shook his head, "I'm sure, like I told Mom, I have things to do before I can join you."

Terataya looked down at his answer; she had hoped her husband could change his mind.

T'Charr tightened his grip on his wife's hand, "We need to go."

"You never really did explain why you're leaving?"

His mother looked at him, "We are from a different multiverse. Therefore, our power over order and chaos is different. When we defeated the previous master of chaos and Lord of order, their power merged with ours, causing a change in the universe." Terataya looked around, "the powers that be do not like these changes; it makes chaos more controlled and order acidic to its user, so they are bringing back our old enemy, and we are going back to our multiverse. Fortunately, they cannot take away the power we've gained, so we will have an advantage when we go home."

Harry nodded, "Do I need to be concerned about my power?"

T'Charr shook his head, "No, order and chaos together apparently create cosmic energy, which also exists in this universe. The only thing I would be careful of is letting people know that you are a Celestin, something like you existing in neither this multiverse nor ours."

"All right then."

T'Charr and Terataya floated past Harry, red and gold energy flaring off their bodies and mixing to form a bronze aura of power. As one, they stretched a hand forward, and the aura of power leaped from their bodies and slammed into the transparent membrane that separated the two multi-verses.

The void around him shook as the energy drilled into the membrane. Cracks spread out from the point of impact. White light shone from the cracks transforming into wisps of energy. The wisps entered the void. Slowly they floated forward as if attracted by the power his parents produced.

Gently the wisps wrapped around Terataya and T'Charr, causing their bodies to flicker in and out of tangibility.

In a flash of light, Terataya and T'Charr disappeared.

Harry floated toward where his parents disappeared, wisps of white energy fading out of existence as he placed his hand on the transparent membrane separating the multiverses, "What was that energy?"

Leaning into the barrier, Harry tried to see his parents but only found a large sphere filled with galaxies. Shaking his head, he turned back two his multiverse. With arms behind his back, he floated forward, his loose white clothes rippling in an unseen breeze.

Scanning the multiversal sphere, Harry's eyes landed on two galaxies at the sphere's edge. These were not bright, unlike the others around them, and their stars did not spiral together.

They were dim and frayed around the edges; their stars leaked into the void.

Harry focused on the one releasing the most stars into the void, watching each one wink out, "It looks like Lady Gaia's first."

Harry disappeared in a blue-white flash, his body transforming into pale electricity that streaked across the void.

XX –

Space rippled, and white power arced from the ripple. Harry stepped through the distortion, entering his target universe. Instantly, he felt the divine beings of this reality press down on him subconsciously, restricting his powers.

Shaking it off, he floated toward his target.

Earth slowly rotated before him, but it was unlike the earth of his world; large swaths of land had become desert. The polar ice caps had melted, flooding coastal cities. Dust clouds swam through the sky, blocking the sun on large swaths of land, killing plant life.

Floating into the atmosphere, Harry closed his eyes against the heat washing over his skin.

Fire trailed over his clothes, wrapping around his body.

Breathing in, he converted the fire around him into energy that nourished his body. As he floated there, he expanded his senses, looking over everything within his reach.

"It appears this planet has gone through some nuclear battle. Radiation has permeated the land and air. Those that have survived have adapted, but the environment shortens their lifespan."

Shifting into a cross-legged position, Harry placed one hand over the other, forming a circle with his thumbs. He drew the radiation toward him on his next inhale. Green wisps floated through the air, mixing with invisible energies.

As the energy flowed into the circle of his hands, Harry took it in his body, cleansed it, and released it when he exhaled.

Harry's wings burst out of his back; feathers grew as he purified the world.

XX –

Gaia rose from the earth, her brittle, dark hair breaking against her weathered skin as she stared into the sky. She took a deep breath, closing her eyes as the clean air filled her lungs for the first time in decades.

Someone was here. Someone was helping her world.

Her eyes snapped open, Brown orbs locking on a figure as they descended to the earth.

Gaia stepped back as they landed on the sand, her body tense.

"Lady Gaia," the figure bowed his head, his white hair reflecting the sun. "I am Harry James Potter, and I am here to fulfill the agreement you made with my parents to Terataya and T'Charr."

Gaia stared at him, reaching out with her senses to feel his power.

He was 6'2" tall, with broad shoulders and tan skin that strained against thick muscle. White hair waved in the breeze. Green eyes scanned her as she looked him over. However, while he was handsome, his power drew her attention. She had never felt an energy quite like it before.

"What are you?"

"My parents called me a Celestin, a being made up of and capable of manipulating cosmic energy."

"You say you are here to fulfill your parents' bargain with me?"

"Yes."

"How do you know what that is?"

Harry looked around, "I'm assuming you want your world repaired."

"Can you do that?"

"I can with your help, but we have a bigger problem."

Gaia raised a dark eyebrow.

"Your universe is leaking energy into the multiverse. It's not bad right now, but over time it will collapse, and I don't know how to fix it."

Gaia waved her hand dismissively and turned away, "I think I know someone that could help, but let's fix the planet first."

Harry jogged beside her, glancing at her out of the corner of his eye as they walked.

Gaia was 6'8" tall, curvy, and busty, with brittle black hair and faded Brown eyes. Her skin was weathered, covered in what looked to be healed burns. Her green dress was faded and torn. The rocks floating around her waist slowly crumbled to dust.

'Her state must reflect that of the world's.'

"So, what do you need to fix my world?"

"First, I must get to the earth's core and prepare. Then, I need something from my world."

Gaia glanced at him, and Harry waved her off, "Don't worry, I should be able to grab what I need without a problem."

"If that's the case, then let's get started."

The ground gave way beneath their feet on their next step, and they began to fall.

XX –

Jani of Juru descended the stone stairs that led to Harry's lab, her high heels clicked as she reached the bottom, and lights clicked on, revealing her red blouse and khaki pants.

She looked around, strands of her dark hair falling from its bun to frame her face. Her heart ached as she saw the dust covering the shelves and tables. She knew he wasn't dead. Amelia constantly checked the afterlife for his soul, but as time passed, those on the Council were losing hope.

The situation was made worse by the outside world. New legislation had passed, saying that every mutant that owned a business would have to be looked over so that their power didn't give them an unfair advantage over the competition.

While Harry hadn't been outed as a mutant, the ease with which he made technology and bettered people's lives made his competitors suspicious.

The Council wasn't sure what to do. Part of them wanted to stop accepting new entries to the island and move to a remote place to live, while another part wanted to expose the secrets of their competitors.

Jani was brought out of her thoughts as three portals opened in the room, forming a triangle.

Harry's cauldron of creation and runic forge was gone instantly, while the third dropped a file on the floor.

Slowly, she approached the folder. Dropping to her knees, she picked it up, her eyes widening at the note on the front of it.

I'm alive, but I have some things to do before I return to our universe. In the folder, you will find blueprints for celestial enterprises' newest release and the Greenleafs' latest orders from Gaia.

Be safe, and see you soon.

Harry,

Jani stared at the writing on the page. It was Harry's handwritting, but dare she hope he was really alive in another universe, or was this some trick?

Opening the folder, Jani scanned the pages within.

Harry wanted them to create a car that ran on the Mini Suns. That would definitely paint them differently in the public eye, as long as they can prove they are safe, but it would also make their enemies turn up the heat.

Flipping over to the pages that contained Gaia's orders, Jani found designs for a vine that would absorb waste and produce the Mini Suns.

Jani stood to her feet and turned toward the stairs. She would let the Council decide what to do. Walking toward the stairs, she turned back when she reached the bottom, "If you are alive, Harry, return soon. We need all the help we can get."

XX–

Harry turned to Gaia as they floated in a white sphere before the Earth's core. Unbelievable heat rolled off the sphere of hot iron as it churned. Large waves of magma rose only to slam back down.

"Thanks for the knowledge."

Gaia stared at the copper pyramid and the stone cauldron floating around Harry, "If you can do what you say, that's the least I can do."

Nodding, Harry flicked his hand. The top of the pyramid opened, and a green, Brown, and blue ball floated from the top.

Gaia's eyes locked onto the orb as it floated toward her; she could sense the vitality coming from it.

"This was originally meant to be the planet's core for a mutant world, but your people need it more, and I have a bargain to fulfill. I need you to synchronize with the world seed to get started."

Gaia shook her head, her eyes never leaving the world seed, you may have removed the radiation from the air, but the soil is still corrupted, and that corruption lives on in me. If I touch the seed, it will become corrupted as well."

With a flick of his hand, Harry sent the cauldron of creation into the Earth's core. Gaia watched its runes blaze to life as it settled within the hot iron. The world shook as the cauldron began pulling the radiation from the world.

Clear energy that shimmered like a heat wave began to flow through the rock as holes opened up within the core, allowing the cauldron to absorb the energy better.

"The cauldron is designed to break whatever is inside into its base parts. While it does that, I will act as a filter for your power and allow you to pump clean energy into the seed."

Gaia stared at the core; she could feel the radiation levels within the soil dropping. Slowly, she turned to Harry, "Can your body handle the impurities in my energy?"

Harry nodded, and his pure white wings expanded from his back, causing the orb to grow slightly larger to accommodate them.

Gaia stared at the partially filled wings, wondering what the man before her was.

"Removing the impurities within your body will help my wings fill in a bit more," he stretched out his hands, "so, shall we get started?"

Glancing at the core again, Gaia grabbed Harry's hands, stiffening as an aura of blue-white power flowed through them.
