So previously I stated that Bandit would end up being "Wrong... So Very Wrong" for letting the tradies only assist if they're not planning to do anything except for what Bandit expected them to do and mainly paint the outside walls. *Sigh* I wasn't lying about that.

An hour passed by, the entire living room was now empty and deserted, the decorative walls were now nothing but wood and the furniture followed by other decorations were left outside on the front lawn. I stood in the middle of all this chaos but really I was between Sparky and Bandit. Bandit pacifically glazed at the room having a face I can only imagine was a moment of second doubts.

"Are you sure this is going to make the walls outside look better?" Bandit asked the english mastiff who was currently looking at a blueprint of the house before answering Bandit's concerns. "Surely, obviously it's mandatory to have an open space in order to get a good view for me and chocolate milk at what needs to be changed, you know" Sparky tells him only to put his focus back onto the blueprint. After hearing that I now had one question on my mind... who's chocolate milk?

"My dad wants you to paint the walls this color" Suddenly I heard Bluey as she and Bingo came over to us, the young blue heeler holding a bucket of paint and placing it onto the floor to show Sparky which he smiled at both of them. "Alright. Gonna need more than that, but you got it," He gave a thumbs up to Bluey for her efforts.

While Bandit dealt with all this commotion. I noticed an unfamiliar face come into the house, stunned as to what was going on. Their appearance was more fancy like with all beige colored fur that was curly, black eyes, black eye lashes, and finally an amulet looking thing on her right chest that was blue and gold as they proceeded to say.

"What on earth is going on here?" They asked in a feminine sounding voice which Bandit overheard and saw her, seemingly knowing actually who she was. "Morning Wendy!" Bandit yelled out to her, now knowing her name was Wendy but I'm kind of unsure why Bandit said morning to her. It was literally the afternoon however I didn't push that question forward to avoid my brain from exploding thinking about it.

"I'm just going to leave it to you guys" She then walked away out the door. That was strange? I was left confused as to who that was and how Bandit knew her, so I went over to him and asked. "Who was that?" I questioned the blue heeler who most certainly had some context. "Her? That's are next door neighbor Wendy, she's nice and a little peculiar, but that's cause she comes to visit at bad times" Bandit told me. "You'll get used to her" He added, which I then asked him. "Is she the only neighbor that knows you?" I wonder, wanting to know if the other inhabitants within the cul-de-sac knew him as well.

"Everyone knows each other around here actually, for example-" Bandit was in the middle of telling me when suddenly I heard a loud slam hit my ears. I saw in front of us a large hole in the wall as Bandit clueless to the fact somebody made a large hole pointed straight ahead at a green looking house through the hole. "You see that green colored house over there? It belongs to a family of golden retrievers named Pat and... hold on a second... Why is there a hole in the wall?!" Bandit finally realized the hole as we both turned and saw Chippy standing there holding a sledgehammer on his palms.

"Sorry this is also a part of the procedure" Chippy said to us, helding onto the sledgehammer which he used to bash another hole into the house walls to I and Bandit's dismay. "Biscuits..." Bandit could only react when randomly his phone began ringing, making him pull it up to see it was an upcoming call from some person named Ross. Who is that? I wish I knew. "Lock down the fort Shane, I'll be right back" He briefly told me before answering the phone, walking away which I saw he headed outside leaving me alone other than his two daughters who also went outside with him.

I went over to a plastic crate and sat on it, putting my back against the wood of the wall. Next to me were two other crates with one of them seemingly having food the tradies brought, I was mainly meat pies and chocolate milk with two out of the four bottles having Chippy's name on them, seems like Chippy is the one nicknamed chocolate milk... the more you know.

"You seem like someone new" I noticed a voice close to me, turning I saw it was the red saluki I remember was Cherry as she sat on an empty crate and continued to speak to me. "I'm Cherry, I seen you already met him, I'm that dork with the sledgehammer over there's girlfriend." She said and then pointed at Chippy who was continuously bashing holes into the wall. "I figured. I think the tattoo was pretty much I dead give away" I joked which made her giggle a bit. "I amuse your not from here eh?" She asked me, frankly I get questioned about that, way more commonly than I should but I answered her question regardless.

"Tell me about it, I get that a lot. The voice is what gives it away, But yeah I'm actually from Canada, my name is Shane by the way" I stated, as I then placed my hand out which she shook. "That's pretty cool. Me and Chippy haven't gone there yet, we stay pretty local for the most part but that's something to write on the bucket list before our wedding" Cherry said to me back. "You two got engaged?" I ask curiously.

"Yeah. He proposed to me at the wheel of Brisbane and after that point we been planning where to have our wedding, I say a beach but he wants it to be at his mum and dad's fancy hotel... it's a lot to decide" She explained which all I could say was. "Interesting" I then felt somebody's hand being placed on my shoulder. Turning my head I discovered it was Sparky who had done so. I assumed he wanted to talk to Cherry but I think he actually wants to talk to me.

"Say kid. Do you mind doing me a favor?" He asked me which I nodded. "What's up?" I asked him back, I wonder what he wants with me. "You want to join us for an important assignment? turns out we need an extra person to help with one last thing and I believe you can be a perfect acquaintance" Sparky had proposed a role to me, to which I started to question.

"How actually?" I lightly asked the mastiff. "You'll see. It's not anything too extreme, unlike the stuff Me and Chippy deal with, so are you down?" He said back, at first I was reluctant of his offer until I saw Cherry who was encouraging me to do it. I had a feeling that maybe this would speed up the process for them including Bandit who still needed this done before Chilli arrived home, so after thinking I nodded proceeding with the job.

No POV

Outside. Bandit paced around the front yard on the phone with Ross, his tone being of frustration that he's been on the phone for 10 minutes now and he needs to get back to seeing what was going on inside the house. "Again sorry to repeat myself but I haven't seen any reports about a kid going missing, though if I do I'll let you know" Bandit told his manager on the phone as Shane ran out of the house, approaching the blue heeler with a positive attitude. "Hey Bandit I'm gonna be with Sparky, Ok?" Shane said to which he nodded.

"Yeah, Mate just be careful" Bandit responds, talking to Shane while hearing Ross spoke on the phone at the same time as Shane ran off into the house. Bandit continued to pace around the front lawn listening to what his manager had to say when he caught something from a distance. A red light flashing rapidly, looking closer he saw standing out in the open on the front lawn of a house two blocks away was a male bulldog who held a large camera to his eye presumably recording Bandit.

"Mr. Heeler. You understand, right?" Ross said, speaking through the phone to the blue heeler. "Hold that thought for a second" Bandit interrupted his manager's question putting his phone on mute before giving the bulldog a confused glare. "What are you doing, Mate?" Bandit called him out to which he jumped in fear being now exposed, they then ran off with the camera leaving Bandit in both confusion and anger.

"Hey!" The blue heeler yelled out, He chose not to waste his time nor energy going after the stranger, so he unmuted Ross. However that would only last for two seconds as he ended the call seeing Chilli park on the road. She and Brandy quickly stepped out of the vehicle, they wore robes and had skincare face masks on as his wife gave him a familiar serious stare. "Bandit Heeler!" She said his name while Brandy stood there eating cucumbers, he knew they came back from the spa in a hurry but was unsure why she was mad.

"Hey Mom!" Bluey and Bingo said in unison, they were drawing on their sidewalk but noticing mom had returned they came over to join the conversation. "Received a phone call from Janelle. She said are house was being demolished and the tradies were over here as well. What on earth is going on?!" Chilli demanded an explanation for all this nonsense.

"Well... You see... I..." Bandit tried to come up with an excuse to no avail as his wife questions him more. "I thought you and Shane were going to paint the walls? Not turn our house into a straight up construction site" Chilli said. "I know and..." As he said this, that very first thing Chilli said bounced into the blue heeler's mind. "I thought you and Shane were going to paint the walls?" He heard in his head again to which he then looked at his oldest daughter.

"Wait a minute... When Shane came out of the house with cold water earlier, Bluey and Bingo were not with him... and the only way the tradies would have come here is if they were... Called" He thought coming to the realization about what had been said on the phone. "Bluey?" Bandit said his daughter's as Bluey noticed and gave him her full attention. "What did Sparky tell you on the phone?" Bandit asked her in a calmly but serious voice. Bluey thought about what he said as the scene faded completely white.

Flashback

"I was wondering If you and chocolate milk can help repaint the house, my dad has tried for a couple hours now but has made no progress" Bluey told Sparky on the phone. "Alright, it might take some time, but it's manageable to get it done by tomorrow, so just asking again, are you sure your dad is wanting help to remodel your house?" Sparky asks her, making sure he was hearing her right. "Yes. That is correct," Bluey answered, all while the scene faded once again back to white.

End of Flashback

The scenery returns back to the heeler's front yard as Bandit, Chilli, Brandy, and Bingo were all shocked by what Bluey had told them. "They're not here to paint the outside walls" Chilli came to the realization as so her husband had as well. "They're here to remodel our house!" Bandit finishes in panic, now knowing that their house is going to be demolished and remodeled but that's until he hears a voice, Shane's voice coming from the roof.

"Holy. the view up here is incredible" He comments In amazement, being up onto the roof but Bandit though was not. "Shane!" Bandit said, putting his hands to his cheeks before turning to Brandy. "Brandy stay here with the kids" Bandit told her as she nodded and Bandit then looked at his wife. "Chilli came with me... we gotta stop this" Bandit said, they both immediately the ran off to the backyard.

Shane POV

"Holy. the view up here is incredible" I admired the view on the roof, a bit different than the time I glanced over the balcony In Bluey's room as I followed the english mastiff who was already at the spot he wanted to be at. As for Cherry and Chippy, they were beside me also following as we made our way over to Sparky. "Wow this is a lot of work" Cherry said looking at me and Chippy.

"Just be slow and cautious babe. And don't look down, I've done that before and it scared me half to death" Chippy gave input as he got closer to Sparky, his face forming a smile that we all made up the roof. "Perfect, you've all made it" Sparky said to us three and then I spoke up. "We did. What are you doing again?" I wondered while taking a break for a second.

"Yeah. Basically we're going to remove the television satellite so we can get the TV out of the house and with everything else, but like I said this is going to take extra effort which is where you come in" Sparky explained and then pointed at me.

"You want me to help you get the satellite dish down to the ground?" I asked confused as Sparky nodded in agreement. "Exactly, so let get started" Sparky said to me, he then grabbed the a hold of the satellite and so did Cherry and Chippy leaving me left to decide to help or not. "Ok then" I uttered, going over to them and grabbing a side of the satellite which Sparky signaled us by holding up three fingers.

"By the count of three… we left it up" He told us. He then started counting down. "Ready… One…. Two… Three-" Sparky counted, but suddenly we heard a yell from somebody. "Wait!" We all stopped what we were doing and turned to see Bandit on the roof with us, reaching a hand out for us to stop as Chilli was climbing up the ladder as well. "This was a huge mistake. I didn't want you to do this" Bandit admitted, confusing the three tradies as to what he was talking about.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Sparky asked for an explanation. "My daughter wanted to get Me and Shane some more help painting the outside walls of our house and… it got mixed up with us wanting to remodel the house, I wasn't aware that she called you three and neither was Shane… I'm sorry" Bandit told the truth as the three tradies looked at each other with disbelief. "Everyone let go of the satellite" Sparky commanded Shane, Chippy, and Cherry which the four placed the satellite back down to its resting spot.

Returning back inside the house. Myself, Brandy, Bandit, Chilli, her kids and the Tradies gazed at the now destroyed living room. I could tell in Bandit's mind this was not what he hoped for when we wanted more help, I mean even I expected a somewhat different outcome. "Maybe there's a chance of fixing" I suggest which only made the current situation more awkward as a result.

"Are you kidding me… This looks like the end of a Michael Bay movie" Chilli commented when suddenly a piece of wood from the wall fell off and onto the ground. "She's not wrong" Cherry added a comment of his own. Realistically, this was a travesty, a mistake Bluey had made that has a low probability of being corrected… but then it hit me.

"I got it! I think we can fix this" I echoed to them all, their looks saying otherwise. "You're joking right? How do you propose actually?" Chippy asked, having questioned what I had said but I believed it was possible. "It's simple, things can only get better, so let's work together and things we keep getting better," I proposed, their faces still giving me doubts as Sparky then shrugged. "Cannot be any worse" Sparky said to which they all nodded, they all agreed to my idea, I then hit some tunes on my phone.

We all split up going to an area that was destroyed and attempting to fix them. Bandit went over to the walls that had holes showing outside of the house. Chilli came over with some wooden planks which Bandit used to cover the holes, covering them completely he grabbed a bucket of paint as he painted over the planks until it finished and dried, no longer showing any damage.

Sparky meanwhile was fixing the floors and walls as well with help from Cherry who was being taught how to fix them at the same time by Sparky who was proud of her performance while Bandit came over to help paint the floors and the other walls.

Me and Chippy were bringing the television inside the house, placing them back where they originally belonged along with the remaining furniture that was left outside while Brandy was sweeping dust and chunks of wood off the floors. Bluey and Bingo helped out too by grabbing more paint buckets and wooden planks as well as cold water which honestly we didn't need but it was nice nonetheless.

About two hours passed, the sun was about to go down and the music I played on my phone was finished, the living room returned to normal. It had some minor changes but nothing too crazy as Me and Heelers stood on the front porch watching the tradies load their equipment back in their vehicles. "Thanks for your help again Sparky" Bandit said to Sparky who stood on the steps to the porch.

"No matter. Heck I even got chocolate milk to repaint your house's walls outside like you wanted" Sparky shrugged as Bandit saw the cracks and old paint were covered over, turns out he really did which made Bandit happy. "You didn't have to do that, you know?" Bandit told him but again he just shrugged it off.

"Eh it's all good, just next time… tell us before we do that so this doesn't happen again" Sparky recommended to which Bandit agreed. "Promise" Bandit responded back while Sparky began to get tired from all the hard work today. "Well best be going see ya around Heelers" Sparky waved goodbye to us as we waved back I seen Cherry who wave goodbye to me while I smiled at her while waving, it seemed like I made a new friend.

"Dad," Bluey said, going over to her dad, her expression filled with guilt and sadness. I'm assuming she's going to apologize to him about the accident, I know that she only wanted to help and didn't mean any harm but something inside me feels I was just as responsible for this as she was.

"I'm sorry I called the tradies without your permission, I thought you and Shane needed some help but… that only caused trouble" Bluey whimpered, I couldn't let her take all the blame so I came over and looked at Bandit. "It was my fault too, I should've been watching them but I didn't and as a result this is what happened. Don't give her all the blame, it's my fault as well" I said when I saw that Bluey was happy that I was taking the blame as well. Bandit's face went from mad to more understanding as he kneeled down to talk to Bluey.

"I forgive you. But next time… ask me before you do something… ok?" Bandit informed his oldest daughter with a polite, but also serious tone which she then nodded and her expression became happier. "So you're not mad at me?" Bluey asked while her tail slightly wagged. "Nah Mate.

Why would I be mad at you or Bingo" Bandit says, giving both his daughters a bear hug before letting go and looking at the sky. "Man, today was pretty chaotic. I could surely go for a cold water" Chilli comments, my eyes then widen, realizing that I drank the last two bottles of water earlier… oops. "Actually I kind of drank the last two cold waters" I confessed, their faces looking shocked while they all yelled at me in unison. "Shane!?" I shrugged in embarrassment as a result.
