Sorry for the long, long wait! I tried writing this the best I can for a friend of mine! I've also been dealing with a lot of things outside at the real world, like my grandmother's death. May She Rest In Peace. I hope that I'll see her again. Anyways, hope you like it!
After the ice cream event, everyone started to head back home, except for Jenny and Brad since the two decided to continue their date a little bit longer.
Later at night, the two were at the park, watching the stars shine bright as day.
"Heh, Melody would love to see the stars bright like this when she and I used to hang out," Brad smiled sadly, "Man, I miss her…"
Jenny looked down in regret, knowing that despite 20 years having passed, she was the reason why Melody left the planet.
Melody Locus, the robotic daughter of the evil Dr. Locus. Much like Jenny, she wanted to live a normal life and do teenage things. However, the blue humandroid was jealous when the girl liked one of her best friends (which was her now-boyfriend Brad Carbunkle). Ever since that, Jenny made it her mission to break them up and prove to him that Melody was just like her father. However, things took a twist… in a bad way. While she did 'prove' that Melody was a transforming monster, she later realized that she was wrong, especially after Melody left Planet Earth and Brad gave her a stern-talking-to.
"B-Brad, I-I'm sorry about what I did…" She said sadly.
"Aww, Jenny, don't beat yourself up," Brad assures her, "I know that she'll return someday…. Maybe she and Sheldon could be together, heh"
"Y-Yeah… Sheldon…." Jenny looked down as well.
Sheldon was one of her biggest admires and one of her biggest fans. He was also extremely helpful on several occasions. There were at times that even Jenny herself felt attracted to him, kissing him on the cheek once or twice. However, there was one, slight problem that bothered her greatly about him…. He was…. A bit of a….. Stalker. When they first met, she didn't mind him at first. That was until he took things a bit 'too far'. It was so bad that Jenny (cruelly, but understandable) had to put her foot down. Even when he mellowed down his 'creepiness', he sneaked into her house and stole her plans (the very ones that her arch-enemy Vexus would later steal). He had also spied on her a couple of times.
"Do you think Sheldon is okay?" She asked, "He hasn't talked to me in a few weeks.
"I think he is," Brad said, "I mean, he was eating ice cream with us"
"Y-Yeah, but when I tried to get his attention, he was looking in the other direction."
"Maybe he's finally giving you some space. Not to mention that we're dating so I guess he understood that he needed to stop, heh."
"I-I appreciate that, I really do," Jenny admits, "But… Well…. I hope that he isn't that mad at me for the um… leaving him with the Space Pirates."
"Don't worry, I'm sure that he's over that."
"Y-Yeah, hehe"
*Later at night*
At the forest, unknown to them (along with everyone in the city), while they were looking at each other, a strange meteor was coming down from the sky, heading towards the ground. That was when it crashed, breaking into pieces. After that, something gooey came out and started crawling away.
