A/N So... yeah. It was quite a long break. I always thought how easy writing fanfiction would be but yeah, I was wrong. But anyway now I'm going to try sticking to the schedule.

A big big thanks to drew1998 for being the first one to review! You can take him/her as an inspiration.

Anyway...

lots of love and on with a story!

For every bird comes a time when she starts to fly. Out, to the freedom. Her time has come so when will come mine?

The wait for September 1st seemed to go too slow for Prim who was excited to go in the world, far away from the Dursleys to a school she never even dared to dream. A magic school. Even though she went to Diagonally with professor McGonagall she still couldn't believe that it was all real.

That magic was real.

Prim was currently preparing her things on their bed. She had all the books, clothes, a beautiful wand and other necessities. For an animal, Prim chose a small owl with big green eyes that resembled Harry's. At first she wanted a cat but then professor reminded her that with owl she could send letters to Harry.

She was sad that she had to leave Harry here with the Dursleys. But he would be fine, right? Uncle Vernon promised that he wouldn't hurt Harry if she didn't tell anyone about their home life. So, she wouldn't do it.

Prim shook her head, not wanting morbid thoughts to destroy her. She is going to happier place. And after two years so is Harry. Everything will be alright.

She and Harry were now starting to pack her things in big green suitcase. First her clothes. She was lucky that she was the only girl in the family so she had her own clothes that aunt Petunia bought in thrift store. Harry on the other hand wore clothes from Dudley which were often too big and dirty.

Then they packed books. She was so excited about school that she already read two of them. The book about Potions was certainly most interesting and Primrose couldn't wait to learn it in school.

At the end they put everything inside and only her owl was still outside sitting in a cage. They named her Noreen, a name she found in Hogwarts: A History.

She couldn't be more happy.

For Harry, the wait had gone too quickly. Tomorrow would be September first, and Prim would be heading off to Hogwarts. He was happy for her, of course, but inside he couldn't help feeling anything but dread for what would come after she left. Prim assured him that Uncle Vernon wouldn't hurt him anymore, but he didn't really trust him.

He knew uncle Vernon and his promises meant nothing to him, but Harry didn't want to burden Prim. He was already a burden for her.

So he kept quiet about this and helped her pack. He carefully picked her wand and waved with it imagining he was in a middle of the battle, fightning bad guys.

"Be careful you, oh mighty wizard. You might turn me into a frog," said Primrose jokingly.

Harry laughed and started shouting. ""Abracadabra, hocus pocus, make this girl scream." With that he jumped on Prim and started tickling her.

At first she just gigled but then when tickling continued started screaming. "Get down Harry, get down. I can't anymore! Harry, I said get down!"

He slowly obeyed her and watched as she tried to catch breath, smiling from ear to ear.

"What Prim? Was it too much? Or do you need more?"

"No Harry, it's alright."

"C'mon. Look, I'll cast a Tickling Curse on you."

He started waving her wand again. "Abracadabra, hocus pocus..."

He suddenly saw Prim's smile immediatelly leave her face and felt someone standing behind him. A big shadow completely covered him.

He slowly turned around facing an angry looking uncle Vernon.

"What boy, aren't you hoing to finish this freakishness?"

"N-no uncle Vernon," he stuttered.

"Then you better shut up and stop waving around with that stick of your sister. Understood?"

"Yes uncle Vernon," Harry answered. He didn't want to upset him, not today.

"And you girl? Are you ready?"

"Yes uncle, I am ready," Prim enthusiasticly nodded. "I have packed everything, all the books, robes, a hat and everything that was written on the-"

"Then what are you doing up here? Go doen and wait for your damned teacher," uncle Vernon interrupted her.

Prim's smile left her face.

"Yes uncle."

She didn't want to show her dissapointment so she picked up the suitcase. But what did she expect from uncle Vernon? She was used to him not being interested in her or Harry. But it was such special day. How could he be so cruel?

"...and you boy, you can wait with her. But when she goes you are immediately to show in the kitchen. You still have to cook dinner for me since Petunia and Dudley are out of this town."

With these words, he stormed out of their room to the living room and turned the TV on. Harry helped Prim to pick all her things and they moved them to the hallway and then all the way downstairs.

"Are you alright Harry?" asked Prim. He was so unnusally quiet. She knew why he was sad but he will be okay, right?

He didn't answer her for a second and she thought he was angry at her. But then he threw himself in her arms and started crying.

Prim was suprised, Harry usually wasn't the one to show affection and he for sure didn't like to cry.

"Shh, shh, don't cry Harry. Don't be sad," she caressed his cheeks, wiping his tears away.

"I don't want you to go Prim. Please don't go. You promised."

"I can't Harry," Prim's voice broke. "I want to go there and I know you'll go there too. I believe it with all my heart."

"But you promised."

"I dis Harry but I can't keep such promise, you do undersand, right?

He pulled from the hug and wiped his tears. "Yeah, I get it. I am a burden to you."

"WHAT?!? Harry no-"

CRACK

They both flinched hard at the sound when in the middle of the hallway appeared professor McGonagall.

"Oh I apologize for scaring you. I know it can be quite scary seeing it for the first time," she looked down and was suprised to see the red, puffy eyes of Harry Potter. It looked like he was crying, right before she came. All her instics were telling her to comfort him, hug him but she needed to stay professional. "How are you Miss Potter? Are you ready to enter completely new chapter in your life?"

Prim smiled: "To be fair professor McGonagall, I am just a little bit nervous."

"I completely understand dear. But don't worry you'll find out that Hogwarts is on of the best places in this world."

"If you say so then it must be for real, professor."

"Oh, no need to flatter me, I don't expect from you to agree with me on everything, Miss Potter. Needles to say, you are going to see for yourself tonight. So say goodbye to your brother, because you won't be seeing him in quite some time."

Minerva watched as girl firlmy embraced Harry and wished more than ever that she could provide these two a proper family. Someone who would give them what they deserved. She didn't know the Dursleys that much, but could be sure that the Potter's didn't get much love in this house.

Then the girl turned to her. "I am ready to go, professor McGonagall." Her voice was quiet but firm.

"Good," she said, extending her arm. "Now, grab my arm and all your belongings. We'll move ourselves directly to the station."

Prim obeyed her and picked up all her thing. She took professor's hand and looked to Harry.

His sad, emerald eyes reminded her of one thing she was leaving in this horrible house: him.

But it was too late.

"Bye Harry," was all Prim could said when she was pulled into another dimension, with emerald eyes still haunting her.

The next thing she knew everything went black; she was pressed very hard from all directions; she could not see anything and there were iron bands tightening around his chest so she could hardly breathe and then...

She fell right on her suitcase. The rest of her belongings judt like her didn't completely survive the travel and were laying scattered around her.

"Quite a good landing for someone apparating for the first time Miss Potter," said professor to her while smiling.

"And also, welcome to platform 9 or to the platform of the train that will take you to Hogwarts."

She looked around her and laughed out of joy. It was just like Diagonally was. Magical and breathtaking.

"Now, I suggest you to quickly board the train if you want to find an empty compartment."

Prim nodded and took her suitcase and other things to the train.

So many children. And all of them just like her. Prim knew that here, she won't ever feel alone and out of place. And she couldn't be more happy.

After a lot of squeezing, she found a compartment that was not entirely full. There were only two boys here, looking exactly alike. Like two ginger clones.

"Excuse me," she unsurely asked. "Would you mind if I join you? Everywhere else is full."

The two boys grinned. "Not at all," said the first one. "But only at your own risk," added the second one.

"Because we are Fred and George Weasley and you are going to be the first one to know us, as the most troubling boys ever."

Prim laughed and shook their hands simultaneously. Her hope that they will like her began to grow. Because she could imagine that the school will not be boring with them as friends.

•••

Alone. He was alone. And Prim left him even though she promised she would never do that.

Harry blinked into the wall where just a few moments ago stood Prim and professor McGonagall. It looked like they dissapeared into thin air.

Leaving him alone.

And as he slowly walked to the kitchen, he noticed his hands starting to shake.

No.

He could do it. Prim loved him and Prim always said the truth. He was worthy. He was loved. He wasn't a freak. Uncle Vernon was wrong and he will always be.

He quietly opened the kitchen door.

He was worthy. He was loved. He wasn't a freak.

He saw uncle Vernon in front of a televison, watching his favourite show. His instincs were telling him tu run but he didn't listen. Harry slowly went to him.

Uncle Vernon was wrong and he will always be.

"I-i am here uncle Vernon. Prim and the teacher had gone."

At first it seemed that uncle didn't hear him or wanted to ignore him, but then he grabbed the remote and stopped the show. Dead silence fell in the house.

He looked at him with the look that made Harry take a step back just in case.

"I think we need to change the rules now, don't you think, you worthless freak?"
