After she had delivered the head and got her money, Maha strolled around the streets. It was a nice day and although she wanted to go back to her home at the Grand Line as soon as possible, she had the feeling that she should stay a bit longer. Whenever she had this kind of just feeling in her gut, she would listen to it. It had happened once that she ignored her kind of 6th sense and it had gone bad. She shook her head, trying to get rid of the bad thoughts. She pulled down her gray hood and revealed her black short hair. She coloured it black, since it was way easier to hide in the shadows with black hair than with her natural bright blonde. her falcon Zaki was flying high above her, she could feel his presence. Suddenly she heard two loud voices "What? You want to fight us?!" She quickly sneaked through the people and got near the voices. Maha saw two big guys - most probably pirates - confronting a smaller girl with black hair and glasses. She was holding a package and did not seem to be quite bothered by the threat of the guys that were almost twice as high as her. "Alright then! DIE! And let that monster know that because of him, our dreams of entering the grand line are ruined!" Maha grabbed for her throwing knives that were patched on her tights but was more than surprised that the girl pulled out a sword and easily defended herself against the pirates. Maha stayed in an alarmed position with her right hand up, ready to pull the trigger for her hidden blade, and two throwing knives in her left. The two pirates stayed down. Good for them. The next surprise was that the girl was quite clumsy. "Huh? What's with her?" Maha asked more to herself while she put away the knives and relaxed. The sword girl, who had just skilfully defended herself against two bigger and stronger pirates, fell and lost her glasses. Maha took a few steps back and hid in the shadow of a nearby pillar. A green haired man approached the sword girl, but did not seem to be a threat. Maha noticed that he also wore a sword, so maybe they worked together. After she saw that they talked to each other Maha turned around and left the scene. She needs to bring back her Beli and pack up her stuff. Maybe she could join a ship going to the Grand Line tomorrow.

In her head she was planning the next days and weeks because it will probably take a bit until she arrives at her home island again, when she hears the next ruckus. "Oh my, what's going on these days?" Maha had arrived at the big plaza, where the execution stands. On top she could see a figure standing. It was a boy with a straw head. "Hey you! Get down from there immediately!" One of the marines shouted with a megaphone. She was quite amused when the boy answered with a "Why?" This could be funny, she turned to the next building and quickly climbed up to have a better look at the whole scenery. She missed the arguments of the marine why the boy should come down from the stand, but saw that he was hit with a spiked mace. The crowd panicked. A beautiful woman with a cape covered in hearts was the one spinning the mace. The girls are getting stronger, Maha thought, we really are near the Grand Line. It was fun to watch the before panicking people now with heart shaped eyes staring at the woman. Apparently the woman and the boy have met before and… he had hit her? "This is better than any trash TV show could get" Maha chuckled as she sat down on top of the roof. Zaki landed on her shoulder and snuggled her cheek. "Hahah, you're also having fun?" Maha cuddled the head of her feathered companion, while the action was about to start down at the plaza. A fountain partly flew at the lady but was somehow repelled and was sent flying somewhere else. "I am the exquisite Lady Alvida!" she revealed herself. Maha frowned. Wasn't Lady Alvida a bit more…. plump? "I ate the devil fruit and transformed!" Ah, that explains everything. "Now my beautiful skin cannot be marred by any attack!" Uh, that's convenient. And with a skin as smooth as hers - uh no worries about wrinkles Maha guessed. Another group of hooded figures approached Lady Alvida and when they removed their hoods Maha gasped a little. "It's Buggy the clown!" "Pirates!" Now Maha jumped on her feet. The atmosphere now got intense as the pirate crew appeared and pulled out their guns. The boy was now trapped in a pillory. Now, that was a bit unexpected of a turn.

Buggy exclaimed "And now, we will commence with the grandstyle execution!" Wow, is he really executing a fellow pirate? At least that is what Maha now guessed from the scene and conversation that was going on. She could perceive a small hint of cigars. So Smoker was also nearby. She scanned the buildings around and could see him watching the scene as well. "It's playing right in your hand am I right?" she mumbled. It's clever to wait and see what happens when pirates fight each other. I mean, the enemy of my enemy is my friend… for so long as he kills my enemy. Then he ain't a friend no more. The boy now screamed with a slightly grumpy face "I AM GOING TO BE THE KING OF PIRATES!" A few seconds of silence followed that testimony. Then people started to wonder "What a dreamer!" - "Did he say King of the Pirates?" - "At this place?" Maha was just as puzzled as everybody else. Then her head snapped to the other side of the execution side when two voices shouted "STOP THE EXECUTION!" Maha realized three things: 1. one of the men just arriving now was the green haired swordsman she saw earlier, 2. he now carried 3 swords, and 3. the weather had changed. "Fuck!" Maha sweared as she headed to a lower floor to seek shelter from the upcoming storm. At the same time her eyes were glued to the scene on the execution stand. "YOUR CAPTAIN IS DEAD!" Buggy laughed maniacally as he held his sword up in the sky. Maha stopped and stood on the edge of the roof. She knew she really should search for shelter but she could not remove her eyes from the boy. The two people that seemed to be part of his crew, the swordsman and a blonde one kicking everything out of his way, fought their way to reach their captain. Maha could feel their convictions and slight desperation. She had the urge to help them. They fought like crazy, the blonde guy almost flying and the swordsman with three swords, one in each hand and the third one in his mouth. The boy with the strawhat just called our names, while Buggys sword came down. "Zoro! Sanji! Usopp! Nami! Sorry. I'm a goner." He smiled. He fucking smiled.

A bright lightning blinded Maha, and at the same time a loud thunder rolled over her. She crouched down and held her arms on top of her head, eyes closed. That guy was surely a goner. In the last split second she saw that the lightning had hit the execution stand. Nobody could survive that. Rain drizzled on her, when she opened her eyes again and looked at the place where the execution had been standing. Her eyes widened in disbelief. The guy stood there with the same big smile and laughed "Hahaha, I'm alive. Lucky me." Everybody on the plaza stared at him. A sudden voice brought Maha back. "Surround the square and capture the pirates!" and the three pirates, namely the boy, the kicking blonde, and the green haired swordsman started to run. "Here they come" Run for it!" The marines were close on their heels. Maha started to move as well. Maybe that was her reason to not yet get away? To watch this unbelievable scene? To help these men escape? Because that's what she wanted to do. She started to follow the group on top of the roofs.
