Alternate Epilogue 3

Weiss, now at an old age, lived a joyful life. Sitting on the cool sands of Argus Beach. Waiting for her family to visit. Neptune, her husband, passed away before her, and his grave was placed in the beach. But her memories kept his spirit alive as she thought to be.

Hearing the waves dancing, the blue sky reminded Weiss of her beloved.

Sitting next to Neptune's grave, Weiss felt more hope than grief, as a way to keep memories alive. She gently placed her hand on his grave to feel like he's with her. "I hope you are doing well, darling." Said Weiss.

Her children, Tide, Tristan and Tristina, were grown up. She hasn't gotten word from them yet, but little did she know was that there is a surprise waiting for her. "Mom! Over here!" Weiss turned to see her eldest son, Tide waving to her. Now 27, he resembles his deceased father with blue hair, but with ice-blue eyes like his mother's.

Next to him is a woman his age, with brown hair and green eyes. Weiss was aware that Tide got married two years ago. But hasn't met her daughter-in-law yet. Nonetheless, Weiss is happy to see her son. But has to remind him to contact her.

"Do you have any idea how much you had me worried?!" Even at an old age, Weiss was still stern worrying about her children's safety. "I had been sitting, and pacing around, wondering what you're doing!" Tide chuckled awkwardly.

"Sorry, Mom. I didn't mean to worry you." Tide then introduced Weiss to his wife. "Mom, this is Sherry. My wife. We met at Haven Academy." Weiss can't be too mad at Tide, after all, she just can't wait to catch up with him to see what he is doing over the years. "Hi, Weiss. Tide has told me a lot about you, it's nice to meet you." Sherry greets. Weiss hugs Sherry in response as a greeting.

"Oh, darling. I was wondering when I get to meet you. But I don't see why my son was taking this long to visit me." Weiss said. Tide almost forgot about the surprise.

"Sorry about this. But the reason why we took too long was because Tide and I have a surprise for you." Tide turned around to reveal a white-haired baby girl, wrapped in a blanket. Silver-white hair like Weiss, but also dark blue eyes like Neptune's.

Weiss became startled at the sight of the baby. But once the baby woke up and started cooing, she reached her arms out to Weiss to beg her to hold her. "That's your granddaughter, Glacia Weiss."

Weiss felt nothing more than a tearful joy to become a grandmother. Sherry helped Tide get Glacia off his back and let's Weiss hold her first grandchild. And the fact that her granddaughter was given a middle name after her.

Weiss carefully held the baby, and adjusting her hold. Then she kisses the baby on her forehead.

"Are you excited to meet Grandma?" Tide asked his infant daughter. "She's so beautiful." Weiss teared up. The baby smiled at her grandmother. "She has your father's eyes, Tide."

"You still missed Dad too?" Asked Tide, he would have love to introduce his family to Neptune as well. Weiss turned to him, "Very." She replied. Tide looked at his father's grave, sadly. He wished his father could have more time with them. But he died at his 40s and never get the chance to meet Glacia.

Tide held his mother in a hug. "I'm sorry, Mom. I really am. Dad would've loved this moment if he were here." He stated. Weiss remained silent to have a moment with her family. Then her younger children arrived.

Two years after Tide got married, he worked as chief of Mistral Police after graduation from Haven.

"Mom, we're here!" Her second son, Tristan, 21 arrived. He has white hair and dark blue eyes. He started a band with his own teammates since Beacon Academy.

"Sorry we're late, Mom!" Her daughter, Tristina, has blue hair and ice-blue eyes. 19, and at a second year at Beacon Academy. She started fashion designing that will provide an upgrade for future huntsmen and huntresses.

Weiss has no words to express but to look at her husband's grave, thinking he was watching from the afterlife.

The end.

Author's note: This is kinda my third thought about this ending. It's been stuck in my head for awhile now. Imagining Weiss and Neptune becoming grandparents of their children's children.

I get confused to see which epilogue is best. Cause I don't know.
