Angry9guy: A new crossover is coming soon. Basically, the Cosmic buddies are celebrating their anniversary, so Cherry, Bella, and their friends invite them to watch some movies and have fun while Drella spies on them. This is going to be a blast!
Aria woke up on February 2nd, which was the day of Audition. Clover was a bit nervous.
But Aria wouldn't be competing on Audition. She had ANH semifinals practice to do and a trip to New York City to get ready for.
Clover looks at Aria, wishing for support.
"I support you, Clover. I just have a lot to do right now." Aria says.
Aria noticed Clover twitching in fear.
"You'll do great!" Aria says.
With Jackson, he was practicing his baton twirling. Aria came in as Jackson caught his batons.
"Nice job!" Aria says.
"Thanks. Haven't you been practicing, too?" Jackson asked.
"This morning, Clover helped me rehearse." Aria says as Jackson smiled.
Soon, it was time to head to New York City. Clover looked for her cousins and family. Luna and Sam smiled at her.
"I'm scared…" Clover says.
Aria sees her and brings Edwin.
Jackson sighs. "If she needs you that much, I'll compete in the semifinals alone. And risk our chances of winning." He says before going off to find his dad.
"She doesn't really need me. I think she's just scared of going alone, so I brought Edwin. And I think she wanted to say goodbye to you too, Jackson." Aria says.
"She said goodbye to me earlier. Now let me go." Jackson says before walking off.
"I'm not holding you." Aria says and sees Hops swimming in his head. Jackson screamed very loudly before Hops went away.
Later, Clover arrived in New York. She walked around.
Luna got her ready for the show.
"You got this!" Sam says.
With Aria, she was still getting ready.
She sees Luke, who is nervously combing his hair. Aria feels bad for him.
"Dad?" Aria asked.
"Yes?" Luke asked.
"Are you okay?" She asked. He nods.
"I'm just nervous about this semifinals show. Four teams move on after this show to go to the finals." Luke says.
Aria thinks about this.
Later, the show started. It was taking place at Madison Square Garden.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Madison Square Garden, the site of our semifinals show!" April says. "We are in for a show full of surprises!"
"Tonight, two teams will be sent home, along with their dashed Hitmaker dreams. But let's talk about this show. There will be two rounds of competition among our six remaining teams. The first round will be a Broadway tribute, meaning our teams will have to pick a Broadway song and do a performance with it. The second round will be what we at America's Next Hitmaker like to call Show What You Got! This round is a round of freestyle performances from our teams, and any song will work. They must also show their talent. So, America, tonight's votes are crucial to move your favorite teams to the season 16 finals show in Houston, Texas! Or our Sweet 16 celebration, if you'd prefer to call it that…" Gemma says.
Aria was getting ready backstage.
"We're up first, let's do this!" Aria says. Jackson nodded and smiled.
The two of them went on stage and performed "You're Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile" from Annie.
Fans loved it as they bowed after that. Jackson smiled a little as he headed backstage with Aria.
The cup brothers waited for their introduction, dressed in their Wicked performance costumes.
"Luke! Luke! Luke!" Fans chanted.
"Not quite yet! We have someone else you all love!" April says.
"Who are we talking about?" Gemma asked.
"Cuppy and Mugsy! Cuppy and Mugsy!" The crowd chanted.
"That's right!" April says. "Introducing…Cuphead and Mugman!"
The crowd cheers when the cups appear and do their performance of "For Good" from Wicked. Kettle smiled at them as they performed.
Luke was nervous as he was in his Link Larkin outfit. Chalice was dressed in her Tracy Turnblad outfit.
"We can do this, Lukey!" Chalice says.
"Really?" Luke asked. Chalice nods.
Luke slicks his hair with hair gel and looks at his reflection one more time.
"Coming up next is another guy you all came to see…" April says.
"Luke! Luke! Luke!" The crowd chanted.
"That's right! Now presenting…Luke Huntington and Mrs. Chalice!" Gemma says.
They come out as the crowd cheers. The couple then performs "It Takes Two" from Hairspray.
The crowd was loving every minute of their performance. Some girls fainted at the sight of Luke as Link Larkin.
Then Gemma hit the platinum button. This meant that Luke and Chalice had the first finals spot, regardless of tonight's outcome. That meant three more spots were up for grabs.
Aria was nervous about that.
Beau and Beatrix were next as they performed "(I Guess I) Miss You" from the SpongeBob SquarePants musical.
Their family and a lot of the fans loved it.
Then Carol and Connor go up and do "Feed Me (Git It!)" from Little Shop Of Horrors. Connor is Seymour and Carol is playing the part of Audrey II, the plant.
The crowd is watching in awe. Soon, they finished as the crowd cheered.
During a break, the teams were getting interviewed.
"So, Luke, how are you feeling about your chances this season?" Gemma asked him.
"Great! Although, I'll be happy if Aria wins." Luke says.
Aria was nervous as April interviewed her and Jackson.
"I'm kinda nervous." Aria says.
"I really want to win." Jackson says.
"Just have faith! I know you two are amazing!" April says. "You both have come a long way."
They smile.
The cup brothers were being interviewed next.
"The fans adore us!" Cuphead says. Mugman smiled a bit.
"When is your next band appearance?" Gemma asked.
"I think we're performing at San Antonio's WinterFest in a few days." Mugman says.
"Nice!" Gemma says.
Meanwhile, Clover got ready on Audition. She sort of felt alone.
Edwin walked off as Clover looked around, scared. She was partnerless.
She began to cry as Luna felt bad and decided to team up with Clover. Clover smiles gratefully.
"What song do you wanna use?" Luna asked.
"Your song…" Clover said. Luna smiled.
The second round would soon start.
"Coming up first in the second round is Beau and Beatrix Yates! Let's see what they got!" Gemma says.
The sibling duo appears on stage in a police station-like set. Beau is the prisoner and Beatrix is the police officer. They do a performance of the song "Trouble" by Iggy Azalea ft. Jennifer Hudson.
The crowd was loving what they saw. Aria watched this and Jackson was impressed by this.
Fans raised billboards of Beau and Beatrix as they finished their routine.
Aria and Jackson were next. They were dressed in colorful dancing outfits they designed with Leni and Chalice, and they had batons edged with colored tinsel and streamers.
The crowd was into it as they performed "Can't Stop The Feeling" by Justin Timberlake.
When they finished, the judges and the crowd were on their feet, cheering wildly for them.
Connor and Carol got ready to go on.
"Good luck." Lori says.
"Thanks. We're gonna need it." Carol says. "This round, it's go big or go home."
"Good work, Beau!" Lisa says. Beau smiled.
"Beau, listen, I'm pregnant." Lisa says.
"Is it mine?" Beau asked. Lisa nods.
"You're going to be a father! Well done, son!" Jancey says.
"Do I have to perform again? I'm tired and I'm already going to the next round…" Luke says.
"Yes, Lukey. We didn't practice our routine to not do it." Chalice says.
Luke was being fussy.
"Lukey, come on, after we perform, we can go." Chalice says. "I promise."
Luke grumpily nodded.
Meanwhile, Clover and Luna performed Play It Loud as fans cheered.
After that Clover went off stage as fans loved it. She began to sing in private, a little song called "Blood Flow" (It's the theme that plays in the Sonic Frontiers DLC. it's a Knuckles exclusive, though, but honestly one of my all time classics)
Meanwhile, Knuckles was relaxing on Angel Island, listening to his new radio that Tails had installed. He hears Clover singing
"Heh, neat song." Knuckles says.
"Luke, Luke, Luke!" Fans chanted.
"That's right! Coming out for his second round…Luke Huntington and his partner, Mrs. Chalice!" April says.
Luke and Chalice appear to cheering fans and screaming girls.
The two of them are in a park setting. They start their performance of "Think" by the London Theater Orchestra & Cast.
Fans loved their work and their choreography.
Aria frowned, they had no chance.
Connor and Carol were next.
They perform "Problem" by Ariana Grande ft. Iggy Azalea. Connor and Carol do the soccer tricks they practiced in their soccer stadium setting. And scored a "winning goal" at the end of their routine.
Fans cheered and danced along. Beatrix smiled at her friend.
"Cuppy and Mugsy! Cuppy and Mugsy!" Fans chanted and cheered.
Soon, the cup brothers come out to a roar of cheers.
They do their performance of "Tik Tok" by Kesha. Fans scream and cheer, loving their performance.
"Ahhhhh! Mugsy!" One girl screamed.
"I LOVE YOU, CUPPY!" Another girl screamed.
The cups soon finished.
"Amazing!" A fan says.
Later, a hush filled Madison Square Garden as the last three spots for the finals were soon to be filled.
Gemma and April were having a tough time deciding. Luke and Chalice were good to go as they already earned their spot.
"The votes are so close…" April says.
"Should we have a final five?" Gemma asked.
"The first in the show's history…." April says.
This caused Luke lots of stress. He just wanted a final 4.
"Lukey, calm down…" Chalice holds him.
April and Gemma soon came on stage, smiling.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is going to be an America's Next Hitmaker first!" April says.
"For the first time in the show's history, we're going to have a final five!" Gemma says.
The crowd went nuts over the news.
Luke was shaking. He knew this would make things harder. He knew he wouldn't win. He also knew that he really wanted his daughter to win, too.
