(Year 784)

It had been a year since I began my journey with Mystogan. A journey that changed everything, that made me confront my own demons and learn to control the darkness I carried.

We had parted just a few hours ago. Now, as I gaze at Magnolia on the horizon, I know it's time to go home, finally.

The gentle wind plays with my hair, some strands black and others my standard blond hair, as I make my way down the familiar roads leading back to the city I used to call home. My mind is filled with memories, some painful and others hopeful.

I remember how it all began, the unbearable weight of guilt I carried after my father's incident. I remember meeting Mystogan, the mage who had disappeared into the future, something I had difficulty grasping at the time, and memories of Tenrou.

The lessons Mystogan taught me were tough, challenging, but necessary. I learned to confront my own darkness and accept parts of myself, both light and shadow. He helped me find a balance, not to be consumed by the dark magic I carried. He showed me that darkness doesn't have to be a destructive force but rather a part of me I can learn to control and direct.

As I approach Magnolia, I feel a whirlwind of emotions. There's a knot in my stomach, a mix of nervousness and anticipation. How things have changed! I feel different, stronger, and more confident. But I also feel the insecurity of facing the people I knew before returning to this time, the people I saw die…

Entering the bustling streets of Magnolia, the familiarity of the buildings and the city's hustle and bustle welcome me. I observe Fairy Tail guild in the distance, its imposing and lively building. Memories of my sister Lucy, my friends, and my previous life resurface, bringing a nostalgic smile to my face.

"I'm back, everyone." Luke thought to himself.

(With Mystogan)

Mystogan returned to Fairy Tail after his journey with Luke, his cloak gently billowing as he walked through the guild hall. It was a quiet day, and guild members were gathered, some chatting animatedly, others relaxing after a hard day's work.

The S-class mage exuded a mysterious and respectable aura, something that had always been with him. He observed the relaxed atmosphere of the guild for a moment before deciding to take action.

With a gesture of his hands, Mystogan used his magic to create a kind of magical mist that began to spread through the hall. As the mist expanded, guild members began to yawn and rub their eyes, feeling sudden drowsiness enveloping them.

One by one, Fairy Tail members began to fall asleep, some leaning on tables, others on benches, slipping into a deep and peaceful slumber. Mystogan walked silently among them, making sure everyone was asleep.

After ensuring that the guild was in a peaceful sleep, Mystogan made his way to the guild master's table, Makarov. The old mage, who led the guild with wisdom and affection, sat at the counter, watching Mystogan with an enigmatic smile.

"Back, Mystogan?" Makarov said with a gentle laugh. "The guild won't be the same without your mysterious travels."

Mystogan nodded slightly in greeting. "Master Makarov, there is something I need to do. A mission that requires my attention."

The master nodded, understanding that Mystogan always had important matters to attend to. "I understand. How can I assist you?"

Mystogan looked around, ensuring that everyone was asleep, before continuing in a lower tone.

"Master, there is someone I met during my journey. A young mage who carries a darkness similar to what I once faced." Makarov nodded again, showing that he was listening attentively.

"His name is Luke," Mystogan continued. "He's in search of something mysterious. I trained him and helped him find some balance, but his journey is long and challenging."

Makarov studied Mystogan for a moment before speaking. "Do you trust him, then?"

Mystogan nodded. "Yes, I believe he has the potential to find his way. But he will need ongoing guidance and support."

Makarov smiled gently. "And what do you propose, Mystogan?"

The enigmatic mage looked directly into the guild master's eyes. "I would like to ask for your permission to leave Luke in the care of Fairy Tail. I believe he can find a home here and, over time, become a valuable member."

Makarov remained silent for a moment, pondering Mystogan's words. He knew the S-class mage's discernment and respected his decisions.

Finally, Makarov nodded. "If you believe in him, then so do I. Leave him in our care. Fairy Tail has always been a place for new beginnings and second chances."

A look of gratitude passed through Mystogan's eyes. "Thank you, master."

With the conversation concluded, Mystogan turned to the magical mist he had created. With a gesture of his hands, the mist began to dissipate, and guild members started to stir slowly.

As the guild woke up, Mystogan made his way to the mission board table. He examined the available tasks, looking for something suitable for the guild.

Finding an appropriate mission, Mystogan took the scroll and stored it. He then turned his attention back to Makarov. "Master, I am departing on a mission. But I will be back soon to continue assisting Luke and monitoring his progress."

Makarov nodded with a smile. "Have a safe journey, Mystogan. And don't worry, we will take good care of Luke."

Mystogan nodded and, with one last look at the guild he considered a second home, he left Fairy Tail, knowing he was leaving Luke in the care of people he trusted, and went away.

Unbeknownst to him, a blond man listened to everything from the second floor, and that was Laxus Dreyar. "Luke, huh…" He commented to himself as he smoked his cigarette.

(Guild: Fairy Tail)

Lucy Heartfilia felt her mind racing, the revelation that Erza had been arrested by the council after the events of the attack on the Guild Masters was just a setup, making her worry for nothing.

Another revelation was surprising to her as well. Apparently, the "Team Natsu" consisting of Erza, Gray, Natsu, the cat Happy, and herself, was not the strongest in Fairy Tail, which was a surprise to her.

In fact, she didn't like it much. Mystogan was suspicious; he made everyone in the Guild fall asleep out of nowhere. And Laxus, from the first impression she had, had a rather irritating swagger.

Lucy could only sigh. Meanwhile, she watched Natsu and Gray fighting for some reason, along with other members like Elfman. Erza sat at a separate table, devouring what appeared to be a strawberry cake. Cana was drinking with the Master as always.

Nothing too out of the ordinary in Fairy Tail.

While the tranquil atmosphere of Fairy Tail embraced the guild members, Lucy and Levy, who had approached a few moments ago, were immersed in their lively conversation about magical causality. They discussed the principles behind the relationships between magical events and how it affected the world around them. The room was filled with cheerful chatter as the two friends exchanged ideas.

Suddenly, the atmosphere changed. A dark and vibrant pressure invaded the hall, making everyone present uncomfortably alert. Levy and Lucy exchanged worried glances, interrupting their conversation as they tried to understand the source of this disturbing energy.

As all eyes turned to the guild's entrance, a tense silence filled the room. The door opened slowly, revealing the figure behind this powerful and mysterious aura.

Luke Heartfilia entered the guild with a dark determination in his eyes. His blond hair with black streaks fell over his forehead, and his black eyes seemed to emit a dark gleam. An intense and powerful energy emanated from him as if he were attuned to a hidden force. His attire consisted of a curiously white suit with blue details and golden embroidery.

The constant murmur of the guild ceased as everyone watched Luke move through the hall with a commanding presence. There was an aura of power and mystery about him that no one could ignore.

Levy swallowed hard, her eyes fixed on Luke with a mixture of admiration and apprehension. Lucy felt a shiver run down her spine as she watched her brother. She could hardly believe the transformation that had occurred in him since the last time she had seen him.

But at this moment, she was not happy to see her brother; she was afraid… Did he come to find her? Did that man send him here?

The normally noisy and lively guild members were now in silence. A mix of emotions swept through the room as everyone tried to decipher what was happening. The dark pressure emanating from Luke was leaving everyone unsettled.

Luke stopped in the center of the guild, his eyes fixed on a point beyond the crowd. A book that seemed magical and ancient was positioned there, radiating an enigmatic energy. The dark energy filling the room seemed to concentrate around the book, creating a spectacle of dancing shadows.

The atmosphere was tense in the Fairy Tail guild as everyone watched Luke and the mysterious energy surrounding him. Gray was the first to break the silence, his voice tinged with suspicion and threat. "Who are you, and what do you think you're doing here?" He crossed his arms, emitting a cold and ready-for-action aura.

Lucy was stunned by her brother's appearance and the charged atmosphere. She couldn't believe what she was seeing, her heart beating fast. She wanted to approach, but the dark pressure that Luke emanated kept her still.

Before Luke could respond, Natsu was already acting. The Fire Dragon Slayer jumped from his seat and advanced toward Luke, a trail of flames following his steps. "What are you up to?" He roared, an aggressive tone in his voice.

Luke, however, remained calm. He raised a hand in a peaceful gesture, even as Natsu's attack approached rapidly. Black hands were conjured and seemed to solidify momentarily, holding Salamander in the air.

Natsu's eyes widened in surprise as he was neutralized, suspended in mid-air, assessing Luke with caution. "Who the hell are you? And what is this strange magic?"

Lucy's expression was a mix of shock and confusion. She couldn't understand what was happening or why Luke was acting this way.

Meanwhile, Levy was pulling Lucy's arm, whispering softly, "Do you know who he is?"

Lucy nodded, still unable to find the words. She couldn't recognize the brother she had left a few years ago. It seemed that he had changed completely, both physically and in terms of power.

Makarov, who had been informed by Mystogan about Luke's situation, observed everything with a calm look "Could it be?" He raised his hand to calm the guild members, who were becoming increasingly agitated with Luke's presence. "Hold on for a moment! Let this young man explain before jumping to conclusions."

The guild master's voice was authoritative, and the members of Fairy Tail gradually quieted down. However, there was still tension in the air, and all eyes were fixed on Luke, waiting for an explanation.

Luke remained calm in the center of the guild, watching the Fairy Tail members with his dark eyes and an expressionless face. The dark pressure surrounding him began to gradually diminish, and the black hands holding Natsu dissipated, allowing the Fire Dragon Slayer to land on the ground.

Makarov, the guild master, maintained his steady gaze on Luke as he spoke in a conciliatory tone "Young man, you caught us by surprise with your arrival. Before things heat up here, why don't you tell us who you are and what brought you to Fairy Tail?"

Lucy was still stunned by her brother's presence, but curiosity and concern were starting to outweigh her fear. She looked at Luke, hoping he could provide some explanation for his sudden appearance.

Luke shifted his gaze from Makarov to the crowd of guild members and, for a moment, seemed to hesitate. Then, he sighed and spoke with a firm yet gentle voice.

"My name is Luke Heartfilia. I am a magician and a magic entrepreneur who travels throughout the kingdom, seeking business opportunities and expansion. Recently, I heard about Fairy Tail as one of the most influential and powerful guilds in this place, and I decided to visit you to explore potential partnerships and negotiations."

This explanation took everyone by surprise. Fairy Tail was not exactly known for doing business or getting involved in commercial matters. The guild members exchanged skeptical glances, clearly skeptical of Luke's story.

Natsu was ready to challenge Luke's explanation when Gray held him by the arm, whispering, "Wait, Natsu. Let's hear what he has to say." Gray had a thoughtful expression, as if he were suspicious but willing to give Luke a chance to explain.

Luke continued, "I don't intend to be a threat to Fairy Tail. In fact, I'd like to extend the hand of friendship and collaboration. I believe that together, we can achieve great things and prosper."

Lucy and Levy exchanged looks again, this time sharing a look of confusion.

Makarov, though still skeptical, decided to follow Gray's advice and give Luke a chance to prove his intentions, following what Mystogan had asked. He spoke with a serious but conciliatory tone "Luke Heartfilia, if you truly seek cooperation and friendship with Fairy Tail, then you are welcome in our guild. However, this is a place where we value sincerity and loyalty. We won't hesitate to take action if we find out you're deceiving us."

Luke nodded respectfully towards the guild master. "I understand perfectly, Master Makarov. I promise to be honest in my intentions and to respect the rules and values of Fairy Tail."

The tension in the guild began to gradually decrease, although there was still an air of suspicion hanging over Luke. However, for now, Fairy Tail was willing to give him a chance to prove his words.

Meanwhile, on the second floor of the guild, Laxus Dreya continued to observe the situation with a keen eye and a smirking smile "So, this is the 'kid' Mystogan was talking about, huh?" Laxus commented, a cocky smile playing on his lips. "Looks like we have a dramatic entrance here."

Attention turned to Laxus, who descended the stairs with an air of superiority, causing murmurs about Luke and Mystogan's relationship. His imposing and confident presence added an extra layer of tension to the atmosphere. Laxus approached Luke and stared him up and down.

"It's not every day we see someone arrive and cause such a commotion. Do you think you're worthy of Fairy Tail?" Laxus taunted, his voice filled with challenge.

Luke maintained his composure, meeting Laxus's challenging gaze. "Do you think I wouldn't be?"

A confident smile formed on Laxus's lips, seeming to have enjoyed Luke's response. "Well, let's see if you can keep up then. Fairy Tail is a place where strength rules. If you think you've got what it takes, then you'll have to prove it."

As Laxus spoke, the tension in the room slightly eased. It seemed that the challenge thrown by Laxus was a test, a way to measure Luke's determination and willingness to integrate into the guild.

Makarov smiled, apparently satisfied with how things were developing. "Well said, Laxus. Luke, if you're willing to accept this challenge, then you can consider yourself a long-time member and friend of Fairy Tail."

Murmurs began to spread again through the guild, this time filled with anticipation and excitement. While some still had their reservations, many were willing to give Luke a chance to prove his worth.

Erza, who had been sitting and enjoying her cake all this time, swallowed her last bite with haste and got up from the table. She walked towards Luke with her characteristic aura of intimidation and authority.

"If you want to prove your worth here, you'll have to face a challenge that will test your abilities and determination. I am Erza Scarlet, and I won't go easy on you." she said, her firm voice echoing through the hall.

Luke nodded respectfully, showing that he was ready to face the test. He was aware of Erza's reputation as one of Fairy Tail's strongest mages. If he wanted to be accepted into this guild, he knew he had to overcome this challenge.

Erza's challenge for Luke was simple but not easy: a magical duel. The guild quickly organized itself to create an open space outside the guild, forming an improvised arena for the showdown. Excitement was palpable in the air, and all eyes were now fixed on the two mages.

Luke and Erza positioned themselves on opposite sides of the arena. Erza wore her iconic Titania armor and held her sword, ready to spring into action. Luke, on the other hand, raised his hands, and a magical glow began to envelop them.

(With Luke)

This couldn't get any worse... He should have known that being conspicuous would only bring trouble.

My heart was pounding, and my mind was a whirlwind of thoughts. As I faced Erza on the other side of the makeshift arena, I realized how serious and intimidating she looked. Her penetrating gaze seemed to analyze every part of me, and the confident energy she radiated added to the pressure I already felt.

I remembered that I had a certain fear of being close to her in the past. Erza had always had an aura that intimidated people, and the challenge I had agreed to face was a magical duel against one of the most powerful mages in Fairy Tail. I was about to find out if my transformation and abilities were enough to handle her... Who would have thought?

As a magical glow enveloped a single ring I was wearing, I quickly reflected on my actions up to that moment. Everything had happened so fast since I joined the guild.

The decision to follow Nightmare's guidance, the tense meeting with the guild members, and now this challenge. For a moment, a wave of doubt washed over me. Had I made the right choice? Were my intentions truly understood? I looked at my sister Lucy's expression and her eyes filled with apprehension. I wanted to make sure she was okay, but at the moment, I needed to focus on Erza and the challenge before me.

Erza advanced with determined steps, her sword in hand. The wind seemed to dance around her, as if even nature itself was aware of the battle aura she carried. She stopped a few meters from me and raised her sword, a determined look in her eyes.

"If you're ready, Luke Heartfilia, let our duel begin." The magical energy around her hands was palpable, and I knew she wouldn't hold back.

I needed to rise to the challenge. With my right hand extended in front of me, I concentrated my magic into the ring. Those same dark hands that I had demonstrated before began to manifest, forming around me.

I used the Hand Ring's magical power to summon black hands close to my body for combat or other tasks.

I closed my eyes for a moment, remembering the words Mystogan had told me: "Power is a tool, and it's up to you to decide how to use it." I was determined to use this power to protect and save them.

Erza and I were ready, each cautiously measuring the other. The tension in the air was almost palpable as the Fairy Tail guild watched in silence, awaiting the start of the impending battle. Our eyes met, and I saw a spark of determination in hers. It was a silent confirmation that we were about to test our skills and determine who would emerge victorious.

Without warning, Erza lunged forward with surprising speed. Her sword sliced through the air towards me, and I reacted quickly, creating a barrier of black hands to block the attack. The impact of the blade against the black hands caused a burst of magical energy, making me step back a few paces.

Erza didn't give me time to recover. She continued her attacks, each swing of her sword filled with strength and precision. I moved with agility, using the black hands to deflect her strikes and counterattack whenever possible. It was an intense dance of magic and skill, where every move could mean the difference between victory and defeat.

Despite all my efforts, it was clear that Erza was holding back. Her combat prowess was unparalleled, and she chose not to use her full power against me. It was a demonstration of respect and consideration, and I felt a mix of admiration and gratitude for it.

As the battle continued, the magical energy around us increased, creating gusts of wind and sparks of energy. The guild was fully engaged, cheering and applauding with each move. I could feel my confidence growing, fueled by the determination to prove my worth.

Erza finally decided to intensify the fight. Her sword gleamed with a dazzling light as she executed a powerful move. Instinctively, I created a shield of black hands to protect myself, but the impact was overwhelming. The force of that attack pushed me backward, and I fell to my knees, panting.

Erza approached slowly, her sword pointed at me. Her eyes were serious, and I could see the intensity of the battle reflected in them. She had defeated me, and her superiority was undeniable. But before she could deliver the final blow, something unexpected happened.

"What beautiful hair." The words escaped my lips almost involuntarily. It was a genuine and sincere compliment, although completely out of context in that situation. Erza widened her eyes, and I could see surprise on her face. But more than that, I saw a slight blush rising on her cheeks.

She became momentarily distracted, and I saw my opportunity. With a quick gesture, I focused my magic on the black hands around me and projected them toward her. The black hands enveloped her, restraining her and preventing her movements.

Erza struggled against the magic that held her, but my determination was strong. I was determined to show that I had my own abilities, even if they were different from hers.

With effort, Erza finally managed to free herself from the black hands and stepped back, looking at me with a mixture of admiration and surprise. The arena was silent, everyone watching the surprising turn of events. I got up, panting but with a satisfied smile.

Erza approached me and extended her hand. "You're truly remarkable, Luke. Congratulations on your victory."

I shook her hand with gratitude. "Thank you, Erza. You're an amazing opponent."

The guild erupted in applause and celebration, and I knew I had earned the respect and acceptance of the members of Fairy Tail. As the celebration continued around us, I felt that I was exactly where I should be. "I missed this."

(Scene transition)

I had once again solidified my place as a member of Fairy Tail... I had also received a warm welcome party in Fairy Tail and was now walking through Magnolia, needing a place to stay.

Today was a strange day; there were so many faces I hadn't seen in a long time. Erza's face was still familiar, for example, but some of them seemed like ghosts from the past.

As I walked through the city streets, my mind was filled with thoughts. So many intertwined destinies, so many shared stories. The pain some of them endured, the losses they faced... It was a constant reminder of how the world of mages could be ruthless and unforgiving.

"You see, Luke, they all have their own tragedies. The curse of fate is something that cannot be avoided. And now, you are a part of it." Nightmare's insidious voice echoed in my mind, manipulating my reflections.

His words reminded me that my role went beyond just being a member of Fairy Tail. My journey had a greater purpose, a purpose given to me by Nightmare. Acnologia, the black dragon, the great enemy that needed to be stopped to save everyone.

As I continued to walk, I felt the weight of the responsibility I had taken on. The goal of exterminating Acnologia was always present, a shadow looming over me. I knew that this battle would be unlike anything I had ever faced. It was a fight against a monster that defied nature itself, a force of destruction.

"Don't get distracted by the lives that cross your path, Luke. You can't save everyone, and some must be sacrificed for the greater good." Nightmare's words continued to envelop me, pushing me toward my ultimate goal. It was difficult to separate my own will from the dark influences he exerted on me. But I knew I couldn't let him completely control my thoughts.

As I pondered my next actions, I found myself in front of a hill that provided a panoramic view of the city. I sat on a rock, gazing at the horizon as the sky began to darken. I knew there was a tough battle ahead, a battle that would lead me to face Acnologia himself, the dragon of the apocalypse.

"You're almost there, Luke. Just one more step to fulfill your destiny. Don't stray from the path you've chosen." Nightmare's voice echoed one last time, his words becoming more persistent and persuasive. I closed my eyes for a moment, struggling against his influence. I knew I had to find a way to stay true to my own principles and goals.

The night breeze caressed my face, bringing a sense of clarity. I then took my book and opened it.

"On the wings of destiny, a future shines bright,

The traveler rises strong, in darkness takes flight.

And the celestial mage, in her flight enthralls.

By her side, the celestial mage stands tall,

A deep connection, a shared life befalls.

Stars dance in the sky, a dream they weave,

And together, they write a destiny that all do believe."He read the poem written in the book.

This was his next significant step then. "It's been a while, hasn't it, Lucy?" Luke then turned to look at his sister with a suspicious look on his face.
