Chapter 2
"Okay, so we need to stop by the store before we head back to my place. I have nothing but barbeque chips, orange soda, and leftover pizza at my place. You don't mind, do you?" he asked Robin.
"No of course not. We will do whatever we have to do so you can cook us up some yummy goodness." She said with a smile.
"Okay let's get out of here." He said as he draped an arm around her shoulders.
(At the penthouse after shopping)
"Stone Cold I am so glad you are home. Oh hello, Dr. Robin I didn't know you were coming. How are you?" he asked her.
"I am good and will be better once Stone Cold here makes me some pancakes. How are you?" she asked Spinelli.
"I am shocked. How did you get Stone Cold to cook? He never cooks." Spinelli asked incredulously.
"I guess I just have a way with words." She told Spinelli and asked Jason if he needed any help.
"Thanks, but no thanks. I shall cook for you and all that you will have to do is eat." He said.
"Ok, Chef Morgan." Robin said to Jason.
"So, Spinelli will you keep me company while we wait." She asked him.
"Of course, what would you like to do?" he asked her.
"I would love to learn more about you and how you became to be known as the 'assassin of the internet.'" She said.
"No one has ever asked me that before. Ok, I will tell you. It all started when I got to high school. I didn't have many friends in real life, so I turned to the computer and learned as much as I could about the internet and computers in general. The computer is an escape for me and there I know that I am not in the way and I know that I can help anyone with virtually any problem they may have. It makes me feel useful." He explained to Robin.
'I think that's why I love being a doctor so much. It makes me feel useful and proud to be able to help someone get more time with their loved ones. It really is a great feeling." She said.
Spinelli and Robin talked about their lives until the food was ready, and then they included Jason in their conversation. They all ate and talked the morning away. It was one o'clock in the afternoon before Robin left because they were having such a good time enjoying each other's company and they planned to do it again real soon.
