Chapter 1

Part 1: Welcome to my theater

It's a lovely night for a walk, Oscar Pine mused both to himself and to the soul of Professor Ozpin inside his head as he and Team RWBY, JNR, Qrow Branwen, Ghira and Kali Belladonna, Ilia Amitola and Team SSSN walked through the streets in the Kingdom of Mistral. Yes, it is refreshing indeed. Ozpin replied.

Sun Wukong, the leader of Team SSSN, had come to their apartment earlier that night. He had informed them that he had gotten them tickets to a movie theater that he and his team had frequented to and wanted to bring them to watch movies before they left for Argus on their journey to the Kingdom of Atlas.

Everyone looked to be on board with. Except one.

"Why are we doing this again?" Yeah, Weiss Schnee. "We should be making plans to catch the train before it leaves for Argus."

"Which is why we're doing this," Yang Xiao Long stated with a grin. "Sure, there's a lot to do before we set out to Atlas-"

"Uhg, don't remind me." Ilia groaned in exasperation.

"-But we can't do that with fried brains!" finished Yang.

"Firecracker's right," Qrow Branwen spoke up, taking a swig from his flask. "With what happened at Haven, you kids need time to relax and recharge."

"Yeah, otherwise we won't be any good when we need to be," Yang said before gesturing to her team partner, Blake Belladonna. "Remember how Blake was before the dance back at Beacon?"

The Cat Faunus shrugged, "She has a point for once."

"Ha! See?" the blonde brawler cheered before pausing and looking at Blake with a raised eyebrow. "Wait, what do you mean 'for once?'"

"Anyway!" Ruby Rose cut her sister off and turned to the Monkey Faunus, Sun. "You said that you and your team have been to this place before?"

"You bet!" Sun replied happily. "I found out about it when I first moved from Vacuo and went exploring." he explained. "And get this, the theater's run by a Faunus! He's an old veteran from the Great War and the Faunus Revolution!"

"There had been some great movies that we watched on our spare time," Neptune Vasilas added. "You guys will love it."

"A war hero, huh?" Qrow raised an eyebrow. "Well, I'd like to share a drink with them."

"And I would be honored to meet them," Ghira added with Kali nodding.

"Well, we got the tickets," Oscar shrugged. "Mind as well use them."

"What movies are we going to watch anyway?" Jaune Arc asked. His teammates, Nora Valkryie and Lie Ren pulled out their tickets from their pockets. "I. . . dunno," Nora said, squinting her eyes.

"They simply say that there is a movie festival," Ren stated. "Perhaps it's a movie marathon."

"Oh well. Not knowing could be fun," Yang shrugged. Sage gestured to Weiss with a teasing grin. "I think the Ice Queen will fight you on that."

The rest laughed while Weiss glared but grinned, nonetheless. Sun then saw the theater up ahead and the manager was standing outside the door. The Monkey Faunus smiled as he called out, "General!"

The Reptilian Faunus looked to their direction and smiled upon seeing Team SSSN. "Captain Wukong, welcome back." he greeted with a salute. The Monkey Faunus saluted back as did his teammates. The older Faunus shook hands with the Huntsmen in training.

The others looked at the Faunus in confusion and intrigue. Especially the Faunus in the group. They have never heard of, nor seen the Faunus that is standing before them. He had brown scales, a six-foot-long reptilian tail and a row of bony white spines shaped like maple leaves down his spine. His eyes seemed to lack color or just seem to be black like the pupils and graying hair. Most Faunus had one or two physical traits, yet this older Faunus had multiple. But also caught their attention was that he had visible scars on his face along with his hands.

"Greetings, I am Haruo Goji" he bowed to the people that he didn't recognize. He paused and looked at them closely. "Wait. . . you're Team RWBY!" he exclaimed. "Ha! Welcome to my theater."

"You know us?" Weiss asked slowly, raising an eyebrow. "I have seen you on TV. The Vytal Festival." Haruo explained. His expression became saddened slightly. "I am deeply sorry for what happened to your school." The young Huntresses and Huntsmen simply nodded in response.

Haruo snapped his fingers and ushered them in with his cane. "Come, come. I've got just the movies that will take your minds off of everything." he said as they began to enter the theater. "And then your minds will be blown! And hearts broken!" he said in a dramatic tone.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Yang exclaimed from inside the theater.

"Oh dear," Haruo muttered. He had a feeling that this would happen.

Inside the theater, standing in front of the students and their families was what they considered to be their mortal enemies. Emerald Sustrai, Mercury Black, Hazel Rainart, Adam Taurus, Sienna Kahn, Doctor Arthur Watts, Tyrian Callows, Cinder Fall, Neo Politan and Roman Torchwick with Team CFVY, Willow, Winter and Whitley Schnee, Raven Branwen, Taiyang Xiao Long, Glynda Goodwitch. And the Grimm Queen herself, Salem.

Oh, and Ozpin popped into existence as soon as Oscar entered the building.

"Wait, wait, wait!" Haruo exclaimed as he walked in front of the two groups, holding his hands up to Team RWBY and JNR and their allies. "Remain calm. There is no need for that. Please? This is a theater not a fighting ring. Okay? We're all here to watch movies."

Teams RWBY and JNR held their weapons while Ghira, Qrow and Oscar stood in front of Kali with Ilia and Team SSSN.

Haruo sighed before raising his cane up and tapped it on the ground. What should have been a simple tap, echoed across the room like a gunshot and suddenly everyone's weapons disappeared.

"NOOO! My baby!"
"My hammer!"
"My sword!

"My cabbages!" Wait, what was that guy doing in the theater?

"There," Haruo grunted. "No weapons, no Aura and no Semblances if you all have the intention to fight in my theater."

"He's not lying," Cinder said, she held her hand up and tried to conjure a ball of fire, but nothing happened.

"Mother? Winter? Whitley?" Weiss exclaimed in surprise and confusion upon seeing her family.

"Do you have any idea how worried I have been when you disappeared?" Willow exclaimed. "Disappeared into the night, and instead of going to your sister, you go outside of Atlas's borders and get kidnapped by bandits!"

"Well, to be fair I thought Winter was still in Mistral when I left." Weiss said sheepishly. "Wait, how do you know about the bandits?"

"Hello, their leader is right here," Raven raised her hand sarcastically. "Oh."

"Her tribe had tried to take over my village," Haruo said to the newcomers. "I taught them some important lessons and shared a cup of tea with Mrs. Branwen-Xiao Long when she came in through a portal before bringing her along with everyone else here."

"How did you manage that without setting off any alarm bells?" Ozpin asked curiously while pouring himself a cup of hot coco.

"I opened portals of my own." Haruo replied simply. "Now that we got that out of the way, are we ready to watch movies?"

"Excuse me but why should we?" Weiss asked. "Especially with them?" she gestured to the people that they recently fought against at Haven and the ones that caused the Fall of Beacon.

"I could force you to stay," Haruo replied. "Now I'm sure you can tell that I am no ordinary Faunus. I am going to be closing this theater down in the near future. I cannot tell you why at the moment, but I would like to do somethings before I leave. Like a chance to show some classic movies from a world called Earth that I feel have been overshadowed by the modern ones."

Both the newcomers and the ones that were already there were surprised. They didn't expect that to be the reason.

"You're closing down?!" Sun exclaimed before slumping. "Damn. I was hoping to take my kids here." His team looked at him with incredulous expressions while Blake facepalmed. That was what he was focusing on?

After a moment, Oscar stepped forward. "Okay, I will be honored to see the movies you have chosen." Ruby stepped up to stand beside him. "I'd love to see these movies too."

Their friends looked at each other and their enemies before they nod their heads. "Count me in," proclaimed Jaune. Nora bounced. "Me too!" Ren simply nodded his head.

"I must be drunk to agree with this," Qrow stated with a sigh but nodded his head. Ozpin added, "This isn't how I imagined the night will go but I believe we could use a break."

"Thank you. You have warmed this old fossil's heart." Haruo said with a smile as he bowed again. "You may grab your snacks. Team SSSN and I will lead you the theater room."

Roughly ten minutes later, everyone had grabbed their snacks with Ruby and Nora having the sugariest snacks and were now being led into the theater. Team RWBY and the other students sat together with Whitley and Ilia (Who sat away from the Schnee siblings) while the teachers sat with the parents and the villains sat on the opposite side of the room.

"Now one last thing," Haruo spoke up. "These movies will star alternate versions of yourselves."

"What?!" was everyone's response. Except Team SSSN. Apparently, they were used to this.

"Just simply think of it as an alternate reality." Haruo replied. "These movies will focus on Adam Taurus," he gestured to the mentioned Bull Faunus while the Audience looked like they wanted to object. "Hopefully his time hear will offer insight."

Adam didn't seem to show any outward reaction other than simply nodding his head.

"Now let the movie festival begin!"

Part 2: Bambi meets Godzilla.

The screen remained white as a title appeared.

Bambi meetsGodzilla.

"Bambi meets Godzilla?" Oscar read in confusion.

"Must be someone important?" Ruby guessed with a shrug.

Haruo pointed to the screen. "That's Bambi."

On the screen a deer fawn is seen grazing in a grass field. (Nora: Aww! Velvet: He looks so cute!) Calm and peaceful music was playing in the background.

Then a giant reptilian foot stomped on the fawn, killing it like a bug.

Many in the Audience jolted in surprise. None of them were expecting that combined with the shift in music.

"Bambi, no!" Oscar, Ruby, Velvet and Nora shouted in horror and sadness as anime tears ran down their faces.

". . . Well, that happened," Roman said after a moment, he and Neo looking at the screen with wide eyes.

The End.

Tyrian then burst into full blown laughter so hard that one would be concerned that he'd die laughing then and there.

"What the fuck?!" Yeah. Yang, Coco, Mercury and Qrow summed up what the Audience was thinking.

Like what the title says, RWBY and Co. will be watching the Heisei Series of the Godzilla Franchise. Haruo is secretly a Gojiran in disguise. The brown scales and the keloid scars should tell you which Gojiran he is. Like what he said, I feel like the Toho Godzilla movies are being overshadowed by the Monster Verse movies from where I live so I am writing a reaction story that involves the Heisei Godzilla movies from 1985 to 1995.

Now I have thought about having Godzilla and the other Kaiju being themselves but decided against it.

Adam Taurus will be Godzilla for character development.

If you don't like, you can leave this story. I know a majority of the RWBY fandom doesn't like Adam's character (Which I blame the writers for) but the potential of his character is what I like him the most.
