Metal Heart

Summary – Eggman has a new plan give metal Sonic a heart! Which gives him feelings in turn the robot falls for Amy Rose, he'll soon do anything to protect her from his creator which means going against his programming and his creator.

Chapter 1

Deep somewhere in the Mystic Ruins in a metal base covered in trees, was a scientist known as Doctor Eggman. He was busy working on his new plan, one he hoped that would defeat Sonic the hedgehog once and for all. He chuckled at how devious his plan was becoming the more he worked on it.

"This has got to be the best plan I've come up with yet, oh what a way to defeat that troublesome blue hedgehog than through his very own heart!" Eggman grinned evilly as he used small tweezers to insert some sort of microchip into his robot, and not just any robot one of his greatest creations it was none other than Metal Sonic.

Eggman was soon finished he slipped on the panel and took a step back as Metal Sonic sparked slightly. "Ok, Metal Sonic tell me how you feel?" Eggman asked as he looked down on his creation.

The robot just stood there his red eyes blinking a few times and he starred at his hand. "I feel strange…" The robot replied.

"Of course, it's to be expected," Eggman smirked.

"What is this beating in my chest?" Metal said lifting his head and looking at his creator.

"That is what we mammals call a heart, you can now feel what we feel," Eggman grinned. Metal just stared at his hand again not saying anything.

"Now Metal Sonic, I have this latest plan to destroy that blue hedgehog and friends, so please pay attention…." Eggman chuckled.

A few days later..

It was bright sunny day over the Mystic Ruins the wind blew through the trees and the sun beamed down making it a lovely sunny day. Taking advantage of this lovely day was a pink hedgehog known as Amy Rose. She was joined by her friends Tails the fox and Cream who was a rabbit who was also joined by her pet chao.

"Wow, what a lovely day for a picnic," Cream smiled as she helped place down a blanket.

"It sure is Cream great idea by the Amy," Tails smiled at the hedgehog and rabbit.

"Not a problem Tails, I had quite a bit of food in my fridge so that's what gave me the idea, and beside we've not spent time together in a while. I only wish Sonic would've shown up." Amy sighed.

"Well, you know what he's like he can't stick around in one place for too long," Tails taking a drink out of the picnic basket.

"Yeaah," Amy sighed again. "Anyway, we can have fun without him!" Amy said with a small smile. "Here Tails try one of my sandwiches, you too Cream," the rosy hedgehog said reaching into her wooden basket and brought out two tasty looking sandwiches and handed them out.

"Wow, Amy these are great!" Tails said taking a bite.

"Yeah, these are great Miss Amy!" Cream also took a bite Cheese staired at it with big eyes as if he wanting to try it too. Cream noticed this "oh, do you want to try it Cheese?"

"Chao!" Cheese nodded and took a bite as Cream tore a bit off for him.

Amy smiled at them and took a bite out of one herself "thanks you guys."

Suddenly just out of nowhere a loud bang and smoke appeared by the set of trees near them. They all yelped "Ah, what was that?" Tails yelped.

"Look at all the smoke, let's check it out!" Amy said standing up and producing her hammer.

"Yeah!" Tails and Cream agreed.

The three ran to where they thought it came from, and they arrived at a lake and at the edge of it was a robot destroying everything and attacking small animals. "It's one of Eggman's robots!" Tails yelled.

"Come on let's stop it!" Amy scrunched her eyes and charged for it.

"Amy wait we don't know how strong it is..!" Tails yelled.

The pink hedgehog ran at it and swung her hammer and she hit on the side which did throw it off one leg making lose balance. It was quick to recover, and its eyes darted around looking for what hit it and they landed on the pink hedgehog.

Amy frowned and winced it looked strong, and she wasn't sure if she could beat it. She put on a brave face clutching her hammer tight "hey you big bully leave those animals alone!" She yelled.

The robot shot its arms out and tried to grab the pink hedgehog, Amy however dodged its arms a few times and once again hit it on its side. She hit it pretty hard, and in turn the hit hurt her hands "oweee!" She winced shaking her hands.

The robot was quick to recover and it suddenly grabbed Amy "Ahhhh!" She yelped as it began squeezing her really tightly.

"Amy!" Tails yelled in worry "stay back Cream, I'll save Amy!" The fox frowned as he turned to the worried rabbit and started up his tails he flew in the air and brought out a small machine from his tool belt "gotta hit it without hurting Amy somehow!" He growled and he aimed at the machine.

Tails fired and hit the robot which did throw the robot of balance again, but it didn't slow it down. The robot quickly regained balance and attacked Tails by opening up its chest and missiles shot out, causing the fox eyes to widened, he yelped as he tried to dodge them. One hit him causing the fox to yell and he fell to the ground.

"TAILS!" Amy yelled tears coming out her eyes she was still in the robots grip.

"TAILS!" Cream also yelled.

The fox opened his eyes as he looked up at the robot hardly able to open them. "We need Sonic, I can't beat it…" He said softly.

A shadow appeared over the trees and stood in front of Tails, the fox squinted his eyes because the sun was really bright, and it was shining off of the robot. The shadow of a hedgehog stood in front of him. "Soooonic…" the fox uttered and then fainted.

Amy eyes opened wide with worry "Tails!" She then noticed a hedgehog standing in a stand of with the robot she sighed in relief "Sonic!" She yelled.

The hedgehog didn't look up he stared at the robot and started fighting it, dodging all of its attacks and he suddenly grabbed a missile and aimed it for the robot this in turn destroyed the machine, however this sent the pink hedgehog flying across the lake. "Ahhhhhh!" Amy yelled.

Something cold caught her just before she landed in the water Amy's ears perked up when she heard someone call out to her "Amy!" The cold thing that caught her flew back to the edge of the lake and landed down on the ground smoke still coming from the explosion of the robot.

Sonic had finally arrived at the scene after hearing his friends scream from elsewhere in the Mystic Ruins he gasped shock at Tails. Sonic could see that something saved the pink hedgehog, but wasn't sure what, he scrunched his eyes trying to make it out within the smoke.

His eyes widened at what stood before him, "Amy..."
