!TW: Mention of sex, cussing!
Laurance and I walked into the house. It was morning time and I had fallen asleep at Laurance's house the night before. I turned to see Kawaii~Chan coming down the stairs.
"Good morning, Laurance~Kun and Violet~Chan. Wait…Violet~Chan, where were you? Kawaii~Chan hasn't seen you since yesterday." Kawaii~Chan asked. "What were you doing?"
"Sleeping with Laurance," I said, still half asleep.
"WHAT?!" Kawaii~Chan's eyes widened. "You two slept together? EEEEE! Kawaii~Chan knew you guys liked each other! Are you two dating?" She gasped and looked at me. "Did Laurance~Kun get Violet~Chan pregnant?"
My face burned as I realized what she thought we did. "What? No! We didn't do that! Kawaii~Chan, why would you even think that?" I yelled.
"Kawaii~Chan, that's really….ugh," Laurance groaned. He was so red he looked like he was going to pass out.
"I went to hang out with Laurance after work and I fell asleep in his room while we were watching some anime. He let me sleep in his bed and he fell asleep next to me. That's it."
It seemed like Kawaii~Chan was going to believe me when Garroth walked in. "Hey Violet, I found your maid outfit on the floor of Laurance's room."
"EEE! YOU DID DO IT!" Kawaii~Chan yelled.
"No! I let Violet borrow some comfier clothes and she left her maid dress on the floor!" Laurance yelled.
Garroth looked confused. "I'm just….going to wait outside."
He left and I turned to Kawaii~Chan. "KC, Laurance and I are not together. When I said 'I slept with Laurance' I meant we literally were asleep! Not whatever dirty thing you're thinking about!"
"Fine. Kawaii~Chan believes you. But…if Violet~Chan finds out she's pregnant anytime soon then Kawaii~Chan knows that Laurance~Kun is the daddy!" She giggled.
"KAWAII~CHAN!"
"What is all the racket about?!" Katelyn yelled.
"NOTHING!" Laurance and I yelled. I grabbed Laurance's hand and dragged him outside. Garroth turned and looked at us.
"What was that all about?"
"You don't wanna know." I grumbled. "I'm going to go back inside and beat up Kawaii~Chan."
"Wait! Vi, where's Aphmau? She's usually taking Celestia on a walk at this time." Garroth asked.
"She's probably at Aaron's house. I think she spent the night there." I said, grabbing the mail. Then I looked at the guys faces and my eyes widened. I had forgotten who I was talking to. Laurance and Garroth wouldn't leave Aphmau and Aaron alone. I watched them run down the street and sighed. "I should go make sure they don't mess up everything."
I approached Aaron's house just as Aphmau was leaving.
"Hey, Aph!"
"Morning, Vi!"
"Hey Aphmau? When you get home, don't listen to anything, and I repeat, anything Kawaii~Chan says about me, okay?" I said.
"That bad, huh?" Aphmau asked.
"Yeah," I groaned.
She laughed. "No worries. I don't believe her most of the time, anyway."
I watched her walk away but froze when I heard something coming from the bushes. Voices. I crept over and saw Travis, Garroth, Laurance, and Brendan in the bushes outside Aaron's house.
"What the heck are you doing?" I yelled.
They all jumped as they looked at me. "Shit! We're dead!" Travis squeaked.
They all started trying to run but I jumped on Laurance and Garroth as I grabbed Travis's leg. "Oh no you don't! You're going to explain why the heck you were hiding in the bushes like a bunch of perverts!"
I was at my house and taking care of Laurance. When I had jumped on him, I accidentally made his nose hit a rock and his nose had started to bleed. "Again, Laurance, I'm so sorry."
"It's fine. I know it was an accident," he said with a smile. His voice sounded plugged due to him laying on the carpet with a paper towel to his nose.
"Has it stopped bleeding yet?" I asked.
"Nope."
I sighed. I felt so guilty for hurting Laurance. It must have shown on my face because he laughed. "Don't worry, Vi. It's just a bloody nose. I think I'll survive."
I laughed. "Yeah. I just feel bad. It looked like it hurt."
"I mean, it did. Still does a bit."
"I'm so sorry!" I cried.
"Stop saying that. You just make me feel like I should force my nose to stop."
"Bet you wish you could do that." I said.
"Yeah. Actually, I think it stopped," he said, sitting up. "Yeah it did. I'm gonna go wash my face real quick."
"Yeah, you should." I said, looking at the dried blood on his face.
As Laurance went to do that, Aphmau came down the stairs. "Hey Violet, wanna come to the basement with me? I told Kawaii~Chan to take down the shipping shrine and I want to make sure that she did. But…I don't wanna go alone."
I smiled. "No problem!"
As we went to the basement, I was unaware of Laurance coming out of the bathroom and following us in.
"What in the name of Irene?" I yelled. The shipping shrine was still up. But instead of Aaron and Aphmau being on it, pictures of me and Laurance were up.
"Kawaii~Chan, what is this?" Laurance yelled, beet red.
"Hehe. Well, Aphmau~Senpai said Kawaii~Chan couldn't ship her and Aaron~Kun. She didn't say Kawaii~Chan couldn't have a different shipping shrine." Kawaii~Chan said with an awkward smile.
"Kawaii~Chan, you're so dead!" I yelled.
"These are the people I live with. What did I do to deserve this?" Aphmau mumbled as she walked out.
"Where does Kawaii~Chan find these artists?" Laurance asked me.
"I have no idea. Some other universe where people ship us as a form of entertainment?" I joked, trying to smile to cover my panicking.
"Pfft! Like anyone would want to watch our boring lives!" Laurance said. We started laughing but our laughter faded as we looked back at the shrine. I glanced at Laurance. He was blushing but he didn't look completely mortified. He looked kind of happy. I panicked and ran out of the basement. He liked me there was no doubt about it. But what was I going to do when it finally came down to me breaking it to him that I just didn't have those feelings?
