A/N: I had to use the internet for references in regards to these places, so please excuse discrepancies, etc.

After lunch, Logan and Marie left the diner and he looked around. "We have a couple of options: One, we can spend the day here and take in the sights. Two, we make the five-hour drive to Buffalo to stay overnight since it takes eight to get to Cleaveland in Ohio."

"This seems like a strange way to get to Canada."

He chuckled, wrapping his arms around her. "I'm following my nose this round. What'll be, Marie?"

"Which is better to sight-see at?" She absentmindedly played with his hair, noticing he leaned into her touch.

"Definitely Buffalo. We could spend a whole day there if you wanted."

"Sounds perfect."

He bent and stole a kiss from her. "It's a deal. Come on, I'll drive."

She felt breathless as she climbed on behind him, putting on her helmet and sliding her arms around his torso.

He put on his helmet and started his Harley. He drove for two hours before stopping in Syracuse so they could have a break from being on the road and grabbed a snack as well. "You want to take a turn for the remaining two and a half hours?"

She nodded and took the helm, his arms around her feeling just right. She followed the GPS' instructions all the way to Buffalo. She stopped at a diner so they could eat and look for a place to sleep. "I can see why you would suggest an entire day here. There's so many possibilities."

He nodded as they looked at the menu. "Major point of commerce being next to Lake Erie and just down the road from Lake Ontario."

"Oh yeah, Toronto is just up the road too. What do you think is familiar about this spot for you?"

"Not sure. I get tidbits of flashbacks like I passed through here sometimes. Traveling a lot seems to be a habit of mine. I think the longest I've stayed anywhere in a while is Xavier's school."

An older waiter came over. "Ready to order?"

"Cobb salad with extra spicy chicken and buffalo ranch dressing." Marie replied when Logan gestured for her to go first. "And a glass of water."

"Medium rare steak with a loaded baked potato, also with some water."

The waiter disappeared and returned with cups of water for them before going off to take another patron's order.

"Looks like there's a hotel across the street with the vacancy sign lit. Saves us quite a bit of time."

Marie glanced where he pointed and smiled. "Yeah, which is great for us."

His lips curled into a soft smile, taking her hand across the table. "Us, huh? I like the sound of that."

"Me too." She managed with a blush. She almost jumped when her cellphone vibrated in her pocket and she pulled it out. "Hi, Kendra. Yeah? I'm glad to hear you met up with your parents and are having a good time with the Professor. Logan and I just got to Buffalo. We're going to spend the day here tomorrow. No, but I am sure she'd call you first. You too, bye."

"He ask her to marry him yet?"

"She didn't say. Why would you ask that?"

"She asked about Jean, right?"

"Yes, but I doubt that she would exclusively want to share that with her first."

"She might suspect he intends to and needs someone already hitched to talk to." Logan shrugged. "All I know is during one of our meetings before vacation, I noticed a rather nice ring box on the Professor's bookshelf."

"Really? That would be so wonderful for them." Marie smiled as their food arrived. "I think Ororo said she isn't going to be in an area with cell service in her native part of Africa, so I guess it would make sense Kendra would like to talk to Jean, but doesn't want to bother her at the same time."

"You ever thought about marrying?"

She nearly choked on the water she had been trying to drink, managing to swallow it as she met his soft brown eyes. "Not very much until recently."

"Maybe that's something in your cards now with me."

"Yeah...maybe." She blushed as they ate, finding she liked that idea a lot.

The waiter checked on them when they were almost finished. "Would you two like some dessert?"

"What's the special tonight?"

"Chocolate cheesecake."

"We'll take two slices, please."

"Right away, sir." The waiter appeared again with their cheesecake. "Anything else?"

"Just the check, thanks."

The waiter nodded and left.

"How is it?" Logan asked as Marie took a bite first.

"It's the best cheesecake I have ever eaten."

He smiled and dug in. "That is actually pretty good. If we ever get up to Alaska, there is a shop that makes it even better than this."

"Maybe our next road trip could be there?"

"Deal, babe." He winked as he paid for their dinner. "Come on, there is a spot I want to show you before we check into the hotel."

She blushed as he took her hand and they went back out to the Harley. He drove them to a fountain twinkling in the dusk as the city lights flickered to life around them.

"Welcome to Niagra Square."

"Oh, Logan. It's beautiful." She admired the stone lions that were lying in front of the pylon that reached up towards the sky in the middle of the water.

"I had a feeling that you'd like it." He began dancing with her as music faintly played from somewhere out of view, holding her close.

"I really do." She sighed softly, smiling as she picked up on dancing quickly as she noticed other couples doing the same. It was warm and comfortable in his arms, and she had never felt more cared for in her entire life. She wanted so badly to say she loved him, though she wasn't sure if now was the time or place for that.
