I considered this my magnum opus for a while lol

"Ok ok ok… How are we gonna do this?" Sunday asked Pico as they walked towards Daddy Dearest's Mansion. She wore a black knee-length dress, which they found to be very not comfortable. Pico simply wore a lime green collared shirt with the same pants that he always wore.

"Just pretend that we're dating? I don't understand how that could be challenging, as long as no one knows it's fake," The ginger spoke as they walked up the steps to where the door was. "Maybe let's just act how Whitty and Carol act with each other?" Sunday took a deep breath.

"Hell no. I don't think you've seen them act lovey-dovey. It's disgusting! No offense, but I don't want to be cuddling all over you," They said, crossing their arms as they approached the mansion's door. Faint voices could be heard inside. Pico scoffed dramatically.

"How dare you? I'll have you know that I'm very… cuddle-able? I don't even know. But for real, don't cuddle up against me. That'd be too much." The ginger spoke as he raised up his hand to knock on the door. He glanced to Sunday to make sure she was ready.

She stood quietly for a moment, mentally preparing for this. "Wait, should we be holding hands or something? I think that would sell it." They suggested just before Pico knocked. He sighed, knowing that she was technically correct. He extended his free hand to hers and intertwined his fingers with Sunday's. Sunday cleared her throat softly as he did so, trying to fight of the nerves she was starting to feel. Pico knocked on the door before exhaling, not even realizing that he was holding his breath. The two waited a few seconds before the door swung open, the bright lights blinding them for a moment.

"Ah, you made it. Wonderful," Mommy Mearest spoke, towering above the two with a devilish smile on her face. Her tone may have sounded sarcastic, but she was being mostly genuine. "Come in, come in! A lot of the guests are already here," She moved aside for Sunday and Pico as they walked into the lovely home. Sunday audibly gasped as she saw the beautiful architecture and decor. Pico simply rolled his eyes, just wanting to get it over with.

"Oh shit, wait… You have a very lovely home." He said as Mommy Mearest led them to the main area where all the guests were. He had to make sure to stay on their good side, especially in their own home. Everyone loudly gasped when they saw Pico and Sunday enter together. Boyfriend spit out his drink in shock seeing the two enter together. Agoti groaned in disgust, as most of Boyfriend's drink landed on him. He quietly got up to go to the bathroom, squeezing past everyone, careful not to get the mess onto anyone else. Tabi and Aldryx laughed from beside him, before turning their attention back to the false couple that had just entered the room. Mommy Mearest grumbled quietly as she watched Agoti get her carpet dirty with a very bright red juice.

"No fucking way," Jasmine said from her spot on the loveseat with Nova. People glanced over at them with confused looks. Pico raised an eyebrow at the two.

"Who even are you?" He asked, having never even seen them before. Nova simply shrugged, not saying anything. Jasmine laughed softly, not bothering to answer Pico's question. He figured he would worry about those two random kids later.

"Don't worry about them, Nova and Jasmine are the other new students. Personally, I think they're both better than Boyfriend. He's literally started two fires in like… a couple weeks." Whitty said, dismissively waving at the two new students. Boyfriend scoffed but made no comeback. "But can we talk about why you and Sunday are holding hands?"

Pico glanced around the room to see that Daddy Dearest was standing in the corner with his arms crossed. They couldn't really come clean without admitting that they lied to Daddy Dearest, which certainly wouldn't end well. He looked down at his feet and sighed before he looked up to everyone in the room.

"Uh, we're dating? How did you not know this?" Sunday asked with a raised eyebrow. Carol and Girlfriend looked at each other and squealed. Pico couldn't help but crack a smile.

When did this even happen?! How could you not tell us?" Carol asked with a wide grin on her face. Whitty and Boyfriend simply looked at Pico confused. Pico shrugged. "I told you everything when me and Whitty went out for the first time! Even Pico knew!"

"You did?" Sunday whispered to Pico. He shrugged, still smiling.

"Yeah, they went to Tankman's for their first date when I had to cover your shift," He said, before turning his attention back to the guests.

"Um… I don't know, it's been a little while now." He said as they stepped forward to sit down beside Ruv, who was previously sitting on a couch alone. He looked considerably more annoyed when the two sat down with him.

"Come on, Sunday! I told you everything about me and Boyfriend when we started dating!" Girlfriend protested, causing her father to grumble from behind her. "Why didn't you say anything?"

Carol nodded in agreement to her bestie. "Exactly! I even showed you the video of me and Whitty having our first kiss!" Whitty sat up at that.

"Wait what? How did you even get it?" He asked before the realization dawned on him. He turned to Boyfriend. "Tell me that you didn't fucking post it." Boyfriend shrugged with a smile.

"It was pretty cute, though." Ayana said with a little giggle. "It felt like a romance movie or something." Whitty sighed as he slouched in his seat and put his arm around Carol.

"He didn't even have my consent!" Whitty yelled, starting a little argument between him and Boyfriend. It was an interesting conversation, to say the least.

"I literally told you that I would record it!" Boyfriend countered. Whitty wasn't having any of it.

"That's still weird! Why'd you even post it?" The bomb asked.

"Uh, so everyone can see it?"

The more that Sunday observed the people around them, the more she realized that some couples were cuddling with each other. She mentally groaned as she pulled out her phone and sent a quick text to Pico.

Sunday: Put ur arm over my shoulder

Pico felt the vibration from his pocket and pulled it out to see what it was. When he read the text, he sighed and quickly wrote a response back.

Pico: y

Sunday: Cuz everyone else is doing it. im not really in the mood to get caught in a lie right now

Pico: im good

Sunday: it's that, or i can lay my head on your shoulder

Pico would've groaned, but that would be considered weird, and he would have asked questions. He instead took a sharp breath, and softly put his arm around Sunday's shoulder, pulling her closer.

"I'm still not quite sure I understand how, or why this happened," Tabi said with a snicker when he noticed Pico's gesture. "It's kinda strange seeing you together but it's also… fitting? Cute? I don't know which word to use," Aldryx snickered from his seat beside Tabi.

"I imagine that they like shooting people together," The digidevil said, resulting in a few chuckles and snickers from around the room. Sunday noticed that Carol was one of the ones laughing and raised an eyebrow.

Carol quickly straightened up and put on a blank face. "Yeah, it's strange, but I'm happy for them. Even Pico, weirdly enough." Carol said, giggling once more. Whitty seemed to have an epiphany.

"Ohhhh… it's because they spent so much time together at Tankman's!" He said. Other people seemed to think this was the case as well. Ruv leaned forward. People got quiet as he began to speak for the first time that night.

"Who was crushing?" Three words, but it was still technically speaking. Everyone seemed satisfied by this but then looked over to the fake couple for an answer.

Sunday looked over at Pico. It was clear that she wanted him to make something up really quickly. So that's just what he did.

"Um... I did. I was crushing on her after... I saw her play live for the first time. It was just really cool, you know? I dunno…It kinda built up after that, and then uh... I asked her out." He said. This clearly wasn't his first time having to make up a big lie on the spot, and Sunday had to be honest: it was pretty impressive. They nodded along. "Turns out, she felt the same, and she said yes. Our first date was us… uh… her teaching me a song on guitar."

"That is the most adorable thing I've ever heard," Girlfriend and Carol said at the same time, placing their hands on their hearts. Boyfriend and Whitty grumbled to themselves, not willing to admit that they also found the story really cute. Pico and Sunday had to use all of their willpower to not roll their eyes. Instead, Sunday softly chuckled.

"Okay, uh… I need to use the bathroom." Pico lied, finally removing his arm from around Sunday and standing up. Everyone was awkwardly silent as he squeezed past everyone to leave the room. "God, why did you guys make it awkward? Go back to talking," They did just that and went to chat about the upcoming releases and WIPs by the students.

"Alright, can someone tell me what is taking so damn long?" Whitty yelled as he walked into the kitchen. Sarvente and Hex looked up at the walking bomb as he eyed the food they were cooking with his mouth beginning to water.

"Cooking is an art, dear friend," Hex said as he turned back to seasoning a giant piece of meat that Whitty couldn't even identify. "You can't rush art. Patience is a virtue,"

"Noooo, Hex! Don't get philosophical on me!" Whitty said sadly, wanting to just eat already.

"Well, I don't know what the hell you're doing over there, but I'm just chopping all these vegetables. And I want to be done." Spirit said as he aimlessly tossed poorly cut cucumber into the giant pot of what Whitty assumed to be a soup.

"Basically we're saying that you need to wait. It'll be ready soon!" Sarvente said as she got a large spoon and began to stir. "Also, send Ruv in here, would you?"

Whitty sighed as he sadly walked out of the kitchen and not eating anything. He walked back out into the main area, where only a few people still hung around. He saw Boyfriend, Girlfirend, Ayana, Tabi, Carol, and a few others, but not Ruv.

"Has anyone seen Ruv? Sarvente told me that she wanted him," Whitty said, looking around once more to make sure that Ruv wasn't hiding or something. Boyfriend chuckled to himself.

"Ha, you said that Sarv wanted Ruv!" He said but quickly stopped laughing when he noticed that everyone was staring at him with annoyed looks. "Fine, Jesus, I'll shut up. Tough crowd," Boyfriend pouted, leaning back in his seat. Girlfriend patted his back.

"It's okay, I thought it was funny," Girlfriend reassured him. Whitty expected Daddy Dearest to get pissed about Boyfriend and Girlfriend, but he was nowhere to be found.

"Thank you for shutting your mouth, since that shit was not funny," Tabi said with a snicker. "You know what would've happened if Ruv heard that?" Boyfriend shrugged.

"I literally have no idea. I don't know anything about him, other than that he's my roommate, he's Russian, his name is Ruv, and he might have feelings for Sarvente." The rapper spoke.

"Does he really? I thought they were just like… really really close friends?" Aldryx said as he tapped away on his phone. "Actually, now that I think about it, he might have feelings. It's like he gets nervous around her, or something. I can't really tell, he's like a robot."

"Who is like a robot?" Ruv asked from behind Boyfriend, speaking louder than normal. Nobody seemed to know that he was even there, causing them to jump and yelp.

"FUCK!" Boyfriend squealed in a high-pitched voice. He clung to Girlfriend, fearing for his life. Ruv flashed the smallest of smiles after scaring Boyfriend.

"Heh. That was funny," The Russian said almost sarcastically, his face going back to its usual menacing scowl. He turned and walked out of the room.

"Shit, I forgot about the one thing I was asked to do!" Whitty said, quickly beginning to speed-walk after Ruv. As he did, he quickly patted Carol's hair before he exited.

"Save my seat for me!" He asked as he left the room.

After what seemed like too long, Pico walked into a room that he figured would finally be the bathroom but was instead the kitchen. At the counter, he saw Sarvente, Hex, Spirit, and Senpai. Hex was the first to notice Pico. His monitor displayed a bright smile.

"Hi, Pico! I'm glad you made it!" The robot chirped, causing the others who were cooking to look over. Sarvente waved with a smile similar to Hex. Pico waved to the group with a slight smile appearing on his face.

"Oh. Hey," Spirit said as he and Senpai chopped some vegetables. Senpai did a little pose with a blinding smile. Pico knew that it was how the kid said 'Hello', but that didn't mean that it wasn't annoying.

"You were invited to this? I thought Double D was still pissed at you for... doing whatever you did?" Pico asked. Senpai shook his head.

"Invited? No no, we're working!" He said cheerily, the direct opposite of his companion. Spirit grumbled as he continued to silently chop veggies. Pico wasn't sure that he should be trusted with a knife. "Some of the staff are working at this little dinner party. I just volunteered to be with my pal!" He wrapped his arm around Spirit, despite the latter being incorporeal. To Pico's surprise, Spirit didn't even bother moving away. The ginger turned to face Sarvente and Hex.

"And why are you two cooking? I get that Hex is just cool like that, but..." He trailed off, hoping that the two would answer his question. Sarvente shrugged.

"Volunteering is very Christ-like. I'm pretty sure that Daddy Dearest was gonna force someone to do this anyways, so I figured that I might as well be the one," She spoke as she poured some spices into a gigantic pot. "Poor Ruv must be having a terrible time in there. He hates being around people. Where is he…?" Pico snickered.

"He actually talked to me and Sunday. Three whole words!" He said sarcastically, exaggerating a gasp. Hex laughed.

"I'm so proud of him! That's the most he's interacted with people in a little while!" The robot spoke happily. Sarvente nodded along, unable to fight the wide grin on her face.

"Oh. I guess three words for him is an accomplishment. Um, anyways, where's the bathroom?" Pico asked, still wanting to take a quick rest break to gather his wits. Hex's screen changed to a map of the house.

"It's just to the left when you go down the hallway to the right of the third door on the left when you leave the room!" He spoke. Pico nodded along as if he understood everything.

"Cool. Got it. Understood. Thanks, Hex!" He said as he speed-walked out of the kitchen to try and find the bathroom once more.

"So... you and Pico..." Carol said suggestively as she slid up next to Sunday, the latter instantly becoming more uncomfortable. "Tell me everything about your relationship."

"Nope. Try again, but this time, less creepy," Sunday requested, placing her hand on Carol's face and softly pushing her away. Carol simply giggled at Sunday's actions.

"Okay, yeah, that was pretty weird. Sorry about that." Carol didn't sound very sorry, but Sunday didn't even care. She was worrying about whatever Carol wanted to ask about Pico and Sunday's relationship, and that Pico wasn't here to lie for them. "Anyways... how did that happen? Tell me details that he left out of the story that you told to the others. I wanna hear all the details."

"I wish you'd stop talking about this, especially in the way that you are. Being a creep is not a good color on you." Sunday couldn't help but laugh at her friend for acting like a weirdo.

"Sorry, it's just weird, I always imagined you being a bachelor…-ette? Well, after we broke up, I guess. Or… I didn't imagine you being with Pico. It's unexpected." Carol shrugged, finally backing off a little. Sunday laughed a little once more. "What is it you see in him? Not trying to be rude, just a question."

Sunday shrugged, trying her best not to seem nervous. She had to think quickly, now. What nice things could she say about Pico that wouldn't seem out of character for either of them? She came to realize that the list was rather small.

"Um... I'm not sure. I just... I think we have good chemistry. I like being around him," She said quickly. They hoped that it wasn't quick enough to seem suspicious to Carol. The dark-skinned girl seemed a little too satisfied with the answer.

"Ahh! That's so cute!" She squealed. Aldryx grunted from his spot, covering his ears. "Where even is he? I want you two to be cute together!"

"You're gonna have to stop squealing," Aldryx said with a bored tone of voice.

"Damn, you made him mad," Tabi said with a chuckle. Carol didn't even seem to care. "I have never actually seen him angry, so that could be interesting."

"Can't he like… shoot something from his stomach? I'd rather not get shot with stomach juice from you," Boyfriend said, inching away from Aldryx.

"Yes, I'm very intimidating. Be very afraid," Aldryx joked as he grabbed his drink from the coffee table in front of him. Boyfriend flinched for no real reason.

Sunday rolled her eyes hearing this stupid fucking conversation. Where was Pico? She needed someone competent to talk to. Well, someone more competent than these fools. She stood up, dusting off their dress.

"Where are you going?" Carol asked as she watched her friend get up.

"Uh, bathroom," Sunday gave a thumbs-up as she walked past some of the guests to leave the room. They ended up looking around the entirety of the first floor without finding a bathroom somehow, so they began to go upstairs to try and find somewhere to get a quick breather. As they finally reached the top of the staircase, she bumped into someone who seemed to be coming down. She nearly lost their balance before the person caught them, and helped her balance once more. Sunday looked up to see that her savior was Pico.

"Watch out, Jesus," Pico said with a smirk on his face as Sunday laughed softly. "You totally would've died if I didn't save you just now. Always remember that you owe me your life." Sunday rolled her eyes as they walked past Pico, still smiling. Pico quickly caught up with her.

"Where you goin'? I was just going back down. I couldn't find a single bathroom in this damned place." Pico said, trying a nearby door, only to find that it was locked. "I wouldn't be surprised if those fucking demons didn't even need to use bathrooms." Sunday laughed as they walked down the hallway.

Agoti came out of one of the rooms further down the hall with a sour expression on his face. When he saw Sunday and Pico, his expression immediately brightened.

"Yo, it's you two!" He said, wiping something off of his clothes. He wore a basic red button-up with black pants, but his button-up had a big set spot all over it, most likely from when Boyfriend spit his drink all over him. The thought made Pico want to laugh. "What're you doing up here? Looking for a nice private spot?" Agoti snickered at his own crude comment.

Pico rolled his eyes, trying to hide the slight blush on his face. He noticed that Sunday wasn't hiding it as well as Pico, with their cheeks turning red rather quickly. "Ha ha, very funny," Pico said sarcastically to help Sunday become less embarrassed. Agoti found this to be more amusing, and it helped Sunday lighten up a little as well. "No, actually. We were just looking for you. Whitty and Tabi were telling us about everything you do in the studio when you're alone." Agoti's eyes widened in shock.

"You better be fucking lying! I told them never to tell anybody!" Agoti yelled as he rushed down the stairs, nearly falling down. Sunday laughed as they continued to walk down the hallway with Pico.

Whitty walked around the very long hallways, searching for his Russian friend. However, the more he thought about it... was Ruv actually his friend? He had been threatened by him multiple times. Those seemed to stop after Ruv and Whitty ran into each other at the double date, with Sarv and Carol. It was odd, Whitty thought, since Ruv only talked once during that entire time. Whitty figured that they should spend more quality time together.

As Whitty walked down the hall, he began to realize that he would prefer not to be alone with his thoughts, but he already let people know that he was doing something nice and he didn't want to seem like a piece of shit by not doing it. He turned to the left to continue down the corridor. He began to slow down when he noticed Ruv standing with his back turned to Whitty, leaning against a door. It appeared that Ruv was eavesdropping on someone. Whitty walked forward slowly so as to not distract Ruv from whatever he was doing.

"What are you listening to?" Whitty asked quietly. Ruv then moved so quickly that Whitty didn't even know what was happening until he gathered his thoughts, and saw that Ruv was holding Whitty against the wall with a knife to his throat. Ruv sighed as he backed up, doing a mesmerizing knife twirl, and shoving it back into its sheath.

"Fuck, dude. I almost sliced your throat," Ruv said, slightly quieter than usual. "Be careful next time." Whitty nodded, eyes wide and a single, thick tear falling from his eye. He quickly wiped it away so that Ruv wouldn't notice.

"That is the most I've ever heard you talk," Whitty said with a quiet snicker before Ruv gestured for Whitty to be silent. The Russian motioned to the door beside them, and Whitty noticed that there were faint voices coming from inside.

"What is it?" Whitty mouthed. Ruv shrugged, continuing to listen.

"...poisoning is easy. He would just think it's a stomach ache or something, and then boom. It's over for that little blue-haired asshole. He's such a prick. He thinks he's so cool." Spoke a male voice coming from inside the room.

"I think you're being slightly dramatic about it. But you're right, I want to kill him." It was a female voice speaking this time. Ruv and Whtity looked at each other, both realizing that it was Daddy Dearest and Mommy Mearest.

"I don't think that too many students would care. They probably hate him as much as we do," Daddy Dearest said with a grunt. Ruv raised an eyebrow, his shoulders becoming tense. "Let's discuss this in our other room. I want to grab the things we need, just in case I decide to go through with this tonight." Faint footsteps could be heard walking toward the door.

"Shit. Come on," Ruv said, darting down the hall to go back with the rest of the guests. If Whitty didn't just see him run, he wouldn't have even known that was running, as Ruv's footsteps couldn't even be heard. Whitty quickly followed behind. As he turned the corner, he could slightly hear the door opening.

"Did they actually say that? I don't remember them saying anything about Agoti in the studio," Sunday said, glancing at Pico with a confused look. Pico laughed as he shook his head.

"No, but I know that he does dumb shit in the studio, and I know that he's embarrassed about it," He chuckled as they walked aimlessly, forgetting what they even came up here for. Pico finally remembered and stopped at the door. He twisted the handle, finding that this one was actually unlocked.

"God, finally. This better be the bathroom," Sunday said, exasperated as Pico opened the door. It wasn't the bathroom but was instead a bedroom. There was a gigantic bed in front of Sunday and Pico, where they could see Jasmine and Nova making out. They quickly pulled away when they noticed Sunday and Pico at the door.

"Fuck, Um…" Jasmine began, sitting up straight and fixing her dress. Sunday and Pico stared wide-eyed. Nova simply didn't care as he wiped his mouth. Jasmine sighed in defeat. "It's exactly what it looks like," She said, laughing a bit to ease the tension. "And what about you two?" She raised an eyebrow as she began to smirk.

Pico groaned. "Don't even go there, because we're not weird like you two," He said quickly to make sure no one thought otherwise. "Obviously, we should just leave you alone," Sunday rolled her eyes as they walked into the room and closed the door.

"We were just looking for a place to relax and not have to deal with anyone's shit. Not for anything el-" She stopped speaking when she heard footsteps coming towards them, and voices outside the room coming closer and closer.

"Oh shit, it's those demons!" Pico hissed, quickly ushering everyone into the room's closet.

"Fuck fuck fuck…" Jasmine whispered to herself as they quickly entered the closet and shut the door quietly. Just as Pico shut the door. "Shh! Be quiet!" Jasmine hissed, even though the loudest person at the moment was her. Pico made the quiet gesture by putting his extended index finger over his lips. He slowly opened the door just enough so that he could see part of the room. The entrance to the room swung open. Daddy Dearest and Mommy Mearest walked in with angry expressions.

"God, these kids suck! Why did we have to invite them over?" Mommy Mearest complained as she slammed the door shut. It appears that they had run into some of their guests on the way here. Sunday and Jasmine jumped slightly. "The only good one is Hex, but only because he literally can't do anything wrong." Daddy Dearest pinched the bridge of his nose as he paced back and forth.

"We need them here, don't forget that. I need to know who I can trust to do what's necessary, and who needs to... be taken care of. You know that all of them are aspiring artists, but we obviously can't have them passing us. I don't even want them to have the opportunity to be able to pass us."

A very faint vibration could be heard from beside Sunday. They looked over to see that Jasmine had pulled out her phone. "What are you doing?" They mouthed, barely any noise actually coming from her mouth.

"Nova says he needs to sneeze," Jasmine whispered back. Pico silently cursed. He immediately began to think of ways they could get out of it. He could kill Nova, but that would be rather loud. Pico guessed that Nova wouldn't appreciate it, either. Sunday wouldn't care, they don't even know him. He saw Nova's head go back. Pico wasn't very religious, but he began to pray anyway.

Ah-CHOO

Daddy Dearest and Mommy Mearest went silent.

Everyone in the closet was holding their breath, awaiting their inevitable fate. The closet door swung open, the light shining bright in their eyes. Daddy Dearest took a moment to process exactly what he was looking at. He saw four of his guests in a closet and two of them had their clothing all messed up. That was all he needed.

"Okay, get the fuck out," He said gravely, trying his hardest not to lose his cool. Mommy Mearest's face was beginning to turn red.

"Um, It's not what it loo-" Sunday began, already planning an argument in their head. Daddy Dearest simply glared at her, and they shut their mouth very fast.

"I know what I saw, and I don't need an explanation," The demon spoke, moving out of the way for the group to leave his room. They quickly fled out of the closet and towards the bedroom door.

"You seriously had to do it at my dinner party? What is it with this generation?" Mommy Mearest asked nobody in particular watching the four leave the room with disgust on her face. Once they left and were out of earshot, she turned to her husband. "Do you think they heard what we were talking about?" Daddy Dearest said nothing for a moment as he thought.

"If they did, they know that there will be severe consequences if they tell anyone. I trust my students," The demon spoke. "Actually, that's a big fucking lie. Let's threaten to do something illegal to them."

"Okay, come on! You have to admit that this looks a little suspicious!" Ayana exclaimed as she watched Sunday, Pico, Nova, and Jasmine walk down the stairs quickly. They all looked traumatized. "Please tell me that there is a reasonable explanation for why you were all up there." Sunday glanced at Pico, hoping he would tell a quick lie. He simply shrugged.

"I know what it looks like, but get your head out of the damn gutter," The ginger said as he suddenly felt someone watching him. He turned to see that Ruv had entered the room. "Jesus, you're such a gigantic creep." Agoti snickered at Pico's comment. Ruv would've smiled if he could, but his facial muscles wouldn't allow it.

"I think we should leave," Whitty said as he ran into the room, out of breath, and doubled over. "Sorry, hold on..." Ruv looked down at his friend beside him.

"What took so long? The hallways aren't that long, man," Ruv said, causing some people to look up confused. Whitty flipped Ruv off as he caught his breath.

"Since when does Ruv speak more than 3 words in one sentence?" Sunday asked as she looked up at the Russian behind Pico. "Also, I agree. We should definitely leave."

"I don't think that's a very good idea,"

The guests turned to see Mommy Mearest walking slowly down the stairs. Nova gulped really loudly. Pico was getting annoyed that the only thing he had heard from this random dude was just noises.

"We haven't even eaten yet!" The demon spoke with feigned enthusiasm. The guests found it very unsettling, and they did not hide their feelings well. A sudden knock was heard from the front door. Whitty walked over to open it, being met with a woman's legs, with a man made up of blue fire beside them.

"What...?" Was all he managed to say as the woman bent over to enter the house. "GOD DAMN, you're tall!" Whitty yelled in shock as Nikusa and Solazar entered the house. Nikusa held a bottle of whiskey in her hands.

"I brought some drinks for all of us!" She said happily with an innocent smile on her face. Ruv nodded in approval.

"Welcome, you two! You're just in time, dinner is ready now!" Mommy Mearest said as she reached the bottom of the staircase.

"HOLY shit. I thought Whitty was just being dramatic!" Carol said with wide eyes as she examined Nikusa.

"I thought you two already met me?" Nikusa asked with a confused tone.

"I was more focused on the fact that soldiers were trying to kill us because of this dumbass's stupidity!" Whitty yelled, motioning to Agoti.

"Fuck you! That was funny!"

"You know that we're not 21 and we can't drink, right?" Aldryx asked Nikusa after he was done laughing at everyone's shocked reactions to her height.

Nikusa shrugged. "I have no idea why you think I knew that," She said as she leaned over to hand Solazar the whiskey. "But I'm not letting my money go to waste."

"I tried telling her, but I guess she didn't care," The manager sighed as they sat down the bottle on the coffee table. "So now we just have whiskey here."

"Doesn't matter to me," Agoti shrugged as he and Tabi reached for it. Solazar smacked their hands away as he walked by.

More knocks on the door. Ruv opened it and looked down to see two people that he didn't recognize. One wore purple and had a flattop, while the other wore pink and had shoulder-length black hair. Pico smiled when he saw his two friends.

"Ugh, finally, I thought you assholes were gonna leave me here alone!" Pico said to Darnell as they walked in.

"I wish we did, I was about to go see some clean pyrotechnics until this one decided to drag me along," Darnell smirked as he motioned to Nene. "Instead, all I have is this cool lighter." He pulled out what looked like a deck of cards before Darnell turned it on, and a tiny flame appeared. Pico nodded, thinking it was pretty cool.

"Oh, shut it, you invited me!" She said as she and PIco laughed. "Anyways, where's the food?"

"Oh wait. Uh, I have some news!" Pico said, trying to sound happier in front of Mommy Mearest As she glared at him from behind. "I, uh... got a date now," He said, Darnell and Nene looking at him with smirks on their faces. Pico turned and motioned for Sunday to come and introduce themselves. She groaned softly as they walked up to stand beside Pico. She felt her cheeks heat up slightly when Pico wrapped his arm around her. "You guys know Sunday, right?" Darnell and Nene looked shocked and confused at the same time.

"I still have no idea how this happened," Tabi said, trying to sneak a quick sip of Whiskey. Agoti nodded from beside him, making sure no one noticed what Tabi was doing.

"Oh shit! I like the stuff your band does," Darnell said as he examined Sunday and Pico. "You're with Tossler and those guys, right?"

Sunday nodded, beaming at the compliment they and their band received.

"And you guys are dating?" Nene asked, not fully believing that Pico had gotten a girlfriend. "That's weird, cuz I thought you still liked Bo-"

"Nope." Pico quickly cut her off before she finished her sentence and humiliated Pico. "Look, I'll prove it." He turned and placed a quick kiss on Sunday's cheek, causing them both to blush deeply. Many 'Oohs' and other childish noises came from the group of students, even some adults.

"Okay, whatever. No need to get so defensive," Darnell chuckled with a smirk on his face. Pico rolled his eyes. Sunday was still trying to comprehend what had just happened when Mommy Mearest spoke up from behind them.

"Okay, enough chit-chat already. Dinner is ready, and we're going to the dining room," Mommy Mearest sounded rather annoyed, and people didn't feel like contributing to that. Everyone quickly followed Mommy Mearest as she led the way to the dining room. As Whitty began to follow everyone to the dining room, he noticed that Ruv was hanging back.

"What're you doing? Aren't you hungry?" Whitty asked as he moved over to let others walk past him. Ruv shrugged his shoulders as he leaned against a wall.

"I wanna make sure that the food actually isn't poisoned. You go ahead," He said, motioning for Whitty to leave the room. Whitty didn't feel very hungry, all of a sudden.

After about 5 minutes, Ruv finally decided to enter the dining room to see if anyone died of poison yet. He was hoping that no one did, but he prepared for the worst. When he walked into the dining room, however, with a lovely dining room table with mostly everyone sitting in front of a lovely bowl of some kind of soup. They even had candles burning, filling the air with the lovely smell of lavender. Sarvente waved at him with a bright smile on her face. Ruv gave a little wave back.

"Ah, there you are." Mommy Mearest said, still putting on the facade of a gracious host. "Unfortunately, all the seats at this table are taken. You can sit at that table, though." She motioned to the corner of the room, where there was a small wooden table surrounded by tiny, colorful chairs. At the table were Boyfriend, Tabi, Aldryx, Agoti, Spirit, and Nikusa. Ruv realized with despair that Mommy Mearest was making him sit at the kid's table. He turned to Sarvente to see if she could get him out of this situation. She simply mouthed "Sorry" and that was that. Ruv grumbled as he sat down with the others at the tiny table. He decided that this would be the most uncomfortable he had ever been, but he also empathized with Nikusa. Both of them sat with their legs very close to their chest.

"This? This sucks," Nikusa said, glancing longingly at the big kid table, with its luxury chairs and superb cutlery. They began to discuss music and class and whatnot. She turned back to the others at her table. "Do any of you want some of this...whiskey?"

"Ugh. Why not?" Spirit spoke, setting down his spoon and grabbing the bottle of Whiskey. He didn't even bother to find a glass for it but just drank straight from the bottle.

"This does suck! We don't deserve to be at this table!" Boyfriend complained, slamming his hands down on the table. People sitting at the big table turned to look at him. He sunk back down into his chair.

"If anyone should be at this table, it's Boyfriend, let's just be honest," Agoti said after swallowing a sip from his cup of grape juice.

"Fuck you! That's why your music sucks!" Boyfriend said in defense, pointing at Agoti. Agoti didn't even care about Boyfriend's insult and simply laughed.

"Don't you only have like... 5 followers on Soundcloud?" Aldryx chimed in with his own insult. "Girlfriend, Skid, Pump, Girlfriend's alt account, and you?" This earned a slight snicker from Ruv.

"Pfft. I have more than 5 followers," Boyfriend grumbled as he angrily ate his soup.

Over at the main table, things were mostly more civilized. Pico and Sunday were perfectly relaxed. Nobody had questioned their relationship since they sat down. However, Sunday noticed that Daddy Dearest and Mommy Mearest were both occasionally shooting glances at them. She had mostly zoned out and wasn't really sure what they were talking about. This is why it was a problem when Sunday heard Daddy Dearest say their name.

"Hey, would you like to know something that happened with Sunday, Pico, Nova, and Jasmine just before we began dinner?" The demon inquired, causing the aforementioned squad to get nervous.

"I don't think that's really necessary..." Jasmine said quickly as she wiped her mouth with a handkerchief. Nova nodded from beside her, not really seeming to care.

"I agree with what's-her-face," Pico said, knowing full well that those assholes were gonna say it anyways, and most likely going to twist the story to make it seem way worse than it was.

"Doesn't matter. Anyways, me and my wife walk into our room, right? We're talking when we hear a weird noise coming from our closet. We go open it, and we see these four hiding in there," Mommy Mearest said with a smirk. Sunday hid their face in her hands as Mommy Mearest spoke. They could feel everyone staring at them. Pico groaned, desperately praying that something would go wrong so that he and Sunday would have an excuse to leave.

Jasmine laid her head back. "God dammit," She mumbled as Mommy Mearest finished her little story.

"No way. At a dinner party?" Ayana asked with a slightly condescending tone of voice.

"Sunday! You could've just used the dorms like a normal person!" Carol said, placing her hand on Sunday's shoulder. This shockingly did not help Sunday feel less embarrassed.

Whitty raised an eyebrow. "That's not where I expected that sentence to end up." He said, trying to lighten the awkwardness a little bit.

"You can't talk. You've literally dated Boyfriend before," Pico said to Ayana with a slight smile on his face. He was in his element now: making fun of people. Unfortunately, he had chosen the wrong insult.

"You dated him before I did!" Ayana fired back, which was annoyingly correct. Sunday giggled with their face still buried in their hands. Pico rolled his eyes.

"Hey! Why are you saying that like it's an insult?" Boyfriend complained from the little kid's table. Pico tried to look at him, but he was obscured from view by Nikusa's left shoulder. He decided to ignore him instead.

"What about the new guys? They haven't kept their hands off of each other since they got here!" Agoti spoke from the little table, motioning to Nova and Jasmine.

"We don't know them yet, so we can't even make fun of them for it," Tabi said as he snuck a quick drink from the Whiskey in front of Spirit, who had passed out. Nova nodded approvingly.

"Yeah, this is a pretty bad first impression," Jasmine admitted, looking down at her plate.

"Wow, Pico." Darnell began with a smirk as he fiddled with a lit candle in his lap. "You just couldn't wa- oh shit." Before Darnell could finish his stupid joke, he noticed that the candle had burned faster than he thought, and had caught onto the tablecloth. Everyone quickly got up from the table, moving away from the fire.

"Fuck!" Darnell yelled as some of the flames caught his pant leg. He quickly swatted it out before it got too bad. Unfortunately, the fire continued to grow with the table.

"Aha! It wasn't me this time!" Boyfriend cheered as he stood up. Girlfriend stood next to him, trying to think of something to put the fire out.

"That's not something you should have to cheer for, babe," She said, examining the fire in awe.

"But he's right, it finally wasn't Boyfriend who ruined an event," Sunday said as she looked at Darnell dropping the candle onto the ground and stomping it out, getting wax all over the floor.

"Dammit, Darnell! You're gonna burn another house down!" Nene complained as the fire nearly caught her clothing.

"Another?" Aldryx asked, beginning to get concerned with the guests at this dinner party.

"Yeah, Darnell has a bit of a problem," Pico said, quickly leaning forward and grabbing Sunday and his drink to pull them away from the fire. "The problem is that he's a fucking dumbass!"

"Fuck you! I didn't think that these candles would burn that fast!" Darnell said in defense as he backed away.

"That's the problem! You didn't think!" Pico yelled, going to take a sip from his drink.

"Don't even get me started on thinking!" Darnell laughed. "Didn't you date Boyfriend? What were you thinking then?"

"Hey! He's not even that bad!" Girlfriend defended. "He's actually very sweet!"

"Yeah, I guess," Ayana said, rolling her eyes. "He's sweet until you realize that he doesn't think anything through!"

"Well, then why did he decide to take us to watch a horror movie with jumpscares knowing full well that I have phonophobia?" Girlfriend asked smugly as if she won the argument. Ayana began to realize that Girlfriend and Boyfriend were perfect for each other and shut her mouth.

"Why is it so hard for these fucking kids to not burn stuff?" Daddy Dearest asked angrily as he grabbed a gallon of water that was to be used for tea, and tossed some of it onto the fire, putting it out. Everyone stood around the smoldering table awkwardly. Jasmine was the first to speak up,

"Well, this was a great time, but I think we'll be leaving," She said quickly as she turned and walked out of the room. Nova waved to the group and followed suit.

"Where are you going? It was just getting good!" Nikusa said, not being fully aware that it was not an act, and that Darnell actually started a fire.

"I'm actually surprised that I didn't burn anything tonight," Solazar said with a slight tone of pride. Agoti couldn't help but laugh softly.

"Well, I think this was really cool, but I would like it better if me and my date left," Sunday said, softly grabbing Pico's hand and lacing their fingers together. It was still a strange feeling for the both of them, but it was sort of nice, especially after a very eventful night.

"I agree," Pico said, quickly finishing his drink and throwing the glass to the sink. It could be heard shattering as it made contact with the sink.

"I agree, as well," Daddy Dereast said, his face beginning to turn red. That little comment nearly made the entire kid's table laugh, which annoyed Daddy Dearest more. "I think we should call it a night."

"Aw. This food is good, though!" Whitty said as he downed a fifth bowl of the soup.

"I still don't know how you do that," Carol said as she gathered her things so that they could leave the demon's house.

"Okay, let's just go now," Pico said to Sunday. They nodded and began to leave.

"Hey, Pico! Just think of this as one of my other great works of art!" Darnell yelled to Pico as they left. Pico chuckled softly as he and Sunday left.

When they opened the door, they were met with Nate and Tossler walking up.

"We finally go- wait, where are you going?" Nate asked as he watched Sunday and Pico walk past them.

"Dinner party's over," Pico said to the two musicians. Tossler groaned.

"I dressed up for nothing," He complained quietly as they walked in anyway.

"I think that's the last dinner party I'll go to for a while," Sunday joked as they closed the mansion's door, finally feeling the cool outside air after being in that house for a few hours.

"Same. That sucked," Pico laughed as they began to walk back to Sunday's car. "I think the fake dating worked. Double D catching us with those other two guys is what sold it, I think," Sunday and Pico cringed thinking about that moment.

"It was kinda…fun? I don't know how to describe that," Sunday laughed softly. "Oh shit. How long do you think we have to pretend to date?" They asked, exaggerating despair. Pico rolled his eyes, but couldn't stop his smile.

"Damn it, that's a good question. Literally, everybody was there. We should do it a little longer so we can fake breakup," Pico chuckled. Behind them, the others began to leave the house as well, chatting amongst each other.

"Aw, look at those two over there," Carol said to Whitty when they noticed Sunday and Pico. Sunday and Pico both groaned softly, not turning around. "You two are so cute! Always stay together!"

"I think we should rob them. Show 'em how 'cute' we really are," Pico joked quietly to his fake date. Sunday laughed softly.

"Maybe let's rob a bank or something. Hey, that would actually be cool. We could get in some good political protesting from robbing a bank," Sunday was rambling a bit, but Pico was still intrigued.

"Nah, I would only be in it for the homicide," He said. Sunday wasn't sure if he was serious or not, but they laughed anyway.

"I'm thinking that we could rob one of the banks that those fucking demons own. They deserve it," Sunday suggested, causing Pico to laugh. Sunday felt a bit proud of themselves for getting a laugh from him a couple of times. She wondered why they felt this, but she didn't feel like overthinking it right now.

The ginger and the Latino finally reached Sunday's car. "You wanna drive? I'm kinda exhausted right now," Pico said, yawning a bit.

"Seriously? You know that I would fall asleep at the wheel and get us killed, right?" Sunday asked, tossing Pico her keys, and getting into the passenger's seat.

"You're right, that was stupid of me to say," Pico rolled his eyes as he got into the car. "You need to start drinking coffee because your sleep habits are getting out of control," Pico opened his door and sat down. He turned on the car and began to drive.

"Don't fall asleep yet, because if you do, I'm just going to leave you in here," Pico said as he quickly drove away from the demonic mansion back to the Funkin' High campus. Sunday reached over and turned on the radio. Loud guitars and huge drum kits filled the speakers. Pico side-eyed his fake date. She laughed.

"What? This is relaxing," Sunday said as the song continued to be very violent. "Look look, just listen to the lyrics..."

"Okay, let's hear it," Pico said, ready for the lyrics to be something that would not be allowed in a school.

"Fuck this shit, put a bullet in my head,

You're never gonna wanna see my face again."

"How relaxing, I fall asleep to this," Pico said sarcastically as he heard the screams coming from the song. Sunday laughed.

"Wait! I have another one here..." She said as she connected her phone to the radio and typed. After a moment, she found it. "Okay, listen, this one is pretty deep."

"If it doesn't make me cry, I'm pulling over and kicking you out of the car," Pico said with a serious tone. He couldn't keep a straight face for very long, however.

"We are beggars, we are so fucking weak.

And once upon a time, we had the world at our feet."

"Hm, you were right. I'm tearing up right now," Pico said as they began to slow down. Sunday looked up to see the red lights coming from the traffic light.

"Shut up, keep listening." They hissed, to which Pico exaggerated a scared expression.

"All our gods have abandoned us!

This is the greatest esoteric depression.

We sold our souls but couldn't buy salvation,"

"What the hell is he even saying? I can't even understand the words," Pico said as he excessively turned down the radio. "It just sounds like... noise." He said this knowing full well that it would annoy Sunday a lot.

"You're just a big fuckin' hater, you know that?" Sunday smirked, trying to not punch Pico for saying something stupid. "You have terrible tastes. How many songs do you know that talk about shooting people?" Pico thought for a moment.

"Uh, all of them," He grinned as they pulled up to the dorm building. Sunday rolled her eyes.

"Exactly. Which is fitting, because those are your favorite things," They said as they began to get out of the car.

"You had your seatbelt on, right?" Pico asked as they walked up to the door. Sunday raised an eyebrow.

"You kidding? I'm pretty sure that we both have expired licenses. I don't need to be hearing about vehicle safety from you," The Latino laughed as Pico walked with them to the door of the building. Other students were walking in as well, some making dumb comments.

"I won't interrupt, but this is still cute!" Said Carol as she walked in with Girlfriend.

"Not better than me and Boyfriend, though," Girlfriend giggled.

"I hope I see you two for the Easter service," Sarvente said cheerily. "It would be so much better for such a... lovely couple to attend!" It was clear that Sarv was forcing some of the enthusiasm, but neither Sunday nor Pico cared to comment on it.

"Well, fake date number 2 is officially planned," Pico sighed as they stood by the entrance. "I don't want to know what would happen if we didn't go. I don't trust Sarv's excessive joy." He narrowed his eyes and glanced into the building. Sunday laughed softly.

"I guess. I'll probably just wear this same dress on Sunday." Said the person named Sunday. "Do you think I'll get special treatment because that's my name?" Pico shrugged with a grin.

"Ask Sarvente, she'll probably let you sing in the choir," He joked, the two laughings softly together. They locked eyes for a brief moment.

Pico cleared his throat. "Well, I should get going. I'm pretty tired," He said quicker than normal. "See you tomorrow, my lovely fake date." They laughed together once more.

"Yeah yeah, let's not put any labels on it just yet," Sunday said as she turned to walk to the door.

"Pfft, whatever," Pico chuckled as he turned to walk to the nearby male dorm building. "Bye, Sunday."

Sunday waved as she entered the building. Neither of them was able to fight the grins off of their faces.
