Chapter 4

Encountering Memories

"You want me to do what exactly?" Mei was having a hard time understanding what she was told as Raven just sighed.

"Get close to the target and observe him, if he can fully restore his memories then he could be an asset to the World Serpent, that is what Gray Serpent said," Raven explained as Mei just sighed as she sat on her bed in the small hotel that they bought. True, getting close to the boy was a plan and learning more about him but did it really have to be her? They have many agents, they could send someone undercover and get close to him.

"And how will this get any answers from him," Mei questioned.

"Who knows, all they care about is that whether if he's a Herrscher or not,"

Mei just frowned from hearing that, but what was really strange about this mission was the strange call from Kevin.

A Few Hours Ago

After she had sent the photo 30 minutes ago. On her way to the hotel that Raven booked, she received a phone call as she looked at it, it was Kevin.

She swiped the answer button, "Hello?"

"What do you know as of now from the boy?"

Mei was shocked to hear Kevin interested in this, "He works at a cafe shop and goes to school here in this city,"

It was silent for a moment as she then heard, "Anything else,"

Mei thought this was strange as she continued to report.

"He goes by Izuku Forthbright, adopted by Henry Forthbright, he's also hiding something inside of him though I don't think it's a Herrscher core,"

Kevin made a hum sound, signaling that he was listening.

"Also, he has amnesia so he doesn't really know who he is,"

This stopped Kevin in his tracks, "Oh? Does he know anything else?,"

"No, he can't remember a thing,"

It stayed silent for a few minutes as he then said, "Okay, thank you for the report, for now, I want you to keep a close eye on him,"

"Kevin,"

"What is it?"

"Why are you so interested in him?"

Mei was met with silence as he didn't say anything, Mei thought that he ended the call but then he spoke.

"It's nothing…just focus on the mission,"

He then ended the call, leaving Mei with more questions in her head. Mei was wondering who Izuku truly is.

Present

Raven poured a cup of tea as she handed the cup to Mei. The latter grabbed it as she looked at Raven.

"Anything else that I should be aware of the mission,"

Raven shrugged, "Just make sure you get close to him,"

Mei stayed silent as she looked at the cup, wondering why Kevin was so focused on this individual?

With Izuku

Three days have passed since, Izuku returned to school as he was sitting in class, he was still wondering about that memory that played. Izuku wanted to know more about himself, day by day his memories kept coming but it was hard to depict what he did and who he was in the past.

"Hey Izuku,"

The boy snapped out of his thoughts as he looked at Dan who had his bag on his shoulder.

"Come on, class just ended, we gotta go head to the cafe,"

"Oh…uh right,"

Izuku started to pack his things as he got up and walked out of the classroom with Dan.

"So about yesterday,"

Izuku looked at Dan wondering what he meant, "What about yesterday?"

"Come on, you were going to tell me what happened on that day when the Honkai attacked,"

Izuku remembered that he was going to tell him but he felt a wave of relief that he didn't point out that he was talking to-

"And I'm not going to ignore the fact that the purple haired girl talked to you, it seems you met her too! What the hell happened?" Dan questioned.

Izuku sighed as he looked at Dan, "Look she was just a customer, nothing too serious,"

Dan eyed him for a bit, "Alright, if you say so but tell me what you did and why did that little girl call you a hero?"

"I just saved her from debris that fell on her,"

"Really?"

"Yeah, that's all that happened," Izuku answered.

Dan was suspicious of him but decided to leave it, "Are you sure? Because the mother also said that you used Honkai energy,"

Izuku stayed silent as he looked at his right arm. The power that he used was something he did not expect.

"It was… something that I can't really explain, it just happened so fast that I couldn't really figure out what it was," Izuku said.

Dan just looked at him as he observed Izuku, "What?" Izuku asked.

"So…you have powers? Like Honkai Energy flowing through you?"

"I doubt it, honestly I don't even know if that's even possible for me," Izuku denied.

Dan was still skeptical but decided to drop the topic. But then he thought about his powers again.

"Wait so, what if you had these powers in the past, you know before your amnesia,"

Izuku stopped as Dan looked at Izuku, the latter thought about it. He never really thought about it, but it all made sense. After he used it, he had a collective of memories flow through him. "I… maybe who knows,"

Dan then thought about it, "Maybe we can find a way to help you use it again,"

"Um no," Izuku replied.

"What why?"

"Because it's too dangerous, what if I hurt someone in the process," Izuku answered.

"We'll do it in the forest where there isn't as many people around,"

Izuku had a hard time being convinced. The power killed the Ganesha in one hit. Whatever the power was, he wouldn't like to use it just to find out what it was. "Still…"

"Oh come on, this could help you with your memories, just think about it! What if that power is the key to regaining your memories?" Dan tried to convince him.

Izuku sighed in frustration, "Just… let me think about it,"

Dan shrugged his shoulders, "Alright fine but this could really help you,"

Dan walked ahead of him, leaving the boy with his thoughts again. He didn't want to injure anyone with this power he somehow had, but Dan was right, using this power could potentially help him regain his memories.

"Come on Izuku, we're going to be late!"

Izuku looked at Dan waving at him outside of the entrance of the school.

Izuku took a step forward before hearing,

"Midoriya,"

Izuku widened his eyes as he turned around to see who said that. Izuku only say passing students walking by him until amidst the crowd. He saw a faint golden wisp, it then dissipated as Izuku only could watch in shock.

"Midoriya…?"

That name, why was it so familiar to him?

A Few Hours later

Izuku was cleaning the cafe as it was about to close, Dan had gone off early as Gabriel sent him home early.

Izuku then headed to the counter as he saw Gabriel cleaning some grinders and cups for the next day. Izuku then headed towards the back to put the broom away but Gabriel called him.

"Hey Izuku, something bothering you?"

Izuku turned to see a concerned look on his face, "Oh… um it's just something with my amnesia,"

Gabriel loomed at the boy solemnly, "Izuku, I'm sure your memories will come to you, you can't always rush things. Your healing right now, take the time to relax and focus on the present,"

Izuku stayed silent as he looked at Gabriel, "I-"

Before he could speak, he heard the door ring, signaling a customer.

Gabriel turned to see a familiar face, "Oh? Well if it isn't Natasha,"

She waved at him, "Hey Gabe, sorry you're closing soon,"

Gabriel shook his head, "Not a problem at all,"

He then saw the girl from before behind her, "Hello again Miss Raiden,"

She waved at him. Izuku on the other hand was shocked to see her again as well, remembering the last time they talked.

"Hey Izuku, just make sure everything's clean and you can head home,"

Izuku nodded as he grabbed a rag and spray bottle with cleaning detergent. Izuku looked at Mei as she looked at him as well, and he waved at her. Mei returned the gesture as she ordered her drink.

Izuku cleaned the tables as he looked out the window, the sun was barely visible at this point as nightfall was about to happen.

Remembering what Dan said about his powers helping him restore his memories. Izuku couldn't help but see Dan's points. After he used his power last time, memories started to flood his head, though they were unclear and vague.

Izuku closed his eyes, remembering the feeling he had last time. The flame that burned inside was ever so bright but also growing every time he saw it. He then imagined a star that connected to other stars, going on to the next and reaching a green star.

Izuku opened his eyes as he was determined to find out who he was so he decided to do something tomorrow after school. Izuku quickly cleaned the tables as he racked the spray bottle and put the rag in a basket.

Gabriel noticed his quickness, "That was fast, off to somewhere,"

"Yeah, just heading to Henry's house,"

Gabriel smiled, "Alright, stay safe now,"

Izuku nodded as he caught Mei looking at him as he waved at her again. She then returned the gesture as Izuku left the cafe.

Mei watched him as he left her sight, she looked at her cup but felt a few pair of eyes looking at her as she looked up to see Gabriel and Natasha looking at her.

Gabriel having a smile of approval, "So, are you interested in him?"

Mei just sighed as she looked at him, "It's not like that, it's just his amnesia concerns me,"

Gabriel nodded, "It was shock when Faith introduced me to him and told me that, I wonder about his family, they must be worried sick about him,"

Natasha, "Do you know what his previous last name was?"

Gabriel shook his head, "All he could remember was his first name,"

Gabriel wondered why these two were so interested in Izuku, he knew that they worked for The World Serpent but he didn't really read up on them.

"May I ask why you're so interested in him?"

Natasha waved her hand, "Just curious, is all"

Mei looked at her drink as she took a sip, wondering about the mission she was tasked. Kevin's curiosity towards him, whatever it was, those two were linked somehow.

With Izuku

"So you want to test out this so-called power you have?" Henry questioned as he looked at Izuku, skeptical of all this.

Izuku nodded, "Maybe if I use it, it could help me regain some of my memories,"

Henry thought about but looked at Izuku with disapproval, "I'm sorry Izuku but I can't allow you,"

"Why?"

"Because we don't know what this power can do to your body if not properly prepared. Also if you use it recklessly, you could not only hurt other but yourself as well,"

Izuku understood his logic but it has been eating at him inside, ever since he got here. All he wanted to know was who he was.

Henry noticed the frustration in his eyes as he placed his hand on him. "I understand your frustration Izuku, but things take time,"

Izuku stayed silent as he just nodded in return.

Henry smiled as he turned around, "Now come on and help me with some logs, I need them for the fireplace,"

Izuku followed him to the back of his house, where he saw some logs that needed cutting. Izuku grabbed an axe off the floor as he started to cut some wood for Henry.

Henry looked at the boy again, he knew Izuku was frustrated. The boy wanted to know more about himself, but Henry couldn't afford to risk him getting hurt. But then again, a Honkai attack had happened, so if anything it would be good to practice.

Henry walked back into his house as he was getting the fireplace ready. When he was getting it ready he heard a loud explosion as he felt his house shaking. The noise came from outside as he quickly ran outside to see what happened. He saw Izuku standing there as the stump that was in front of him was completely gone and the axe he had was long gone, his hand was bleeding from the handle, completely crushed and the blade was lodged deep into the ground.

Izuku turned to Henry with a confused and shocked look. Henry looked forward as the stump wasn't the only thing completely destroyed. The tree line was gone as a massive trail of destruction was made.

Izuku kneeled down as he held his hand out, feeling a burning sensation through his body. He looked at his hand as it was completely covered with splinters.

"Izuku! Are you alright?!" Henry rushed to his side as he saw his hand completely covered in blood and splinters on his hand.

"Come inside, I'll treat your hands," Izuku nodded, he only looked at his hands as he was thinking about what had happened. At that moment when he was cutting wood, he thought about it again, the sensation, the feeling of power welling up inside of him. But little did he know that power responded to his feelings as he unconsciously released that power.

When it released he heard a faint voice call to him, "Ninth, please remember,"

That was all he heard, feeling lost and confused, Henry sat him down and treated his hand as he pulled out first aid. He gently pulled out the remain splinters on his hands as he carefully wrapped his hand.

"What happened, was that…"

Izuku nodded, "I was just trying to remember the feeling and then that happened.

Henry frowned as he flicked Izuku in the forehead. "Well don't do that! Like I said, we don't know what these powers can do, so please for your safety,"

Izuku hesitantly nodded as Henry sighed and looked at his hand, "Go home for today and get some rest okay,"

Izuku nodded as he got up and grabbed his stuff, "Sorry for the trouble I caused today Henry,"

Henry smiled, "Don't worry about it too much kid, I understand. You got alot on your mind right now,"

Izuku nodded as he headed for the door. He opened the door to see Faith at the door in some casual clothing as if she went out with her friends from work.

"Oh Izuku hi how-" Before she could finish her sentence she saw the bandages on his hand.

"Izuku! What happened to your hands!" She said concerningly.

"An accident happened, don't worry I'm fine, promise," Izuku smiled as he snuck passed her.

"I'll see you later Faith," he headed down the driveway and headed straight for the city.

Faith looked back in the house as she saw Henry standing by the door, "I'll explain once you get inside,"

Faith raised her eyebrows as she headed inside.

With Izuku

It was 10:40 pm at night, the streets were practically empty, he walked down the sidewalk as he thought about those memories, the voices, and the person he saw. It all frustrated him, he wanted to know about them. What connection did they have with him? How did he receive these powers? And most importantly, who was he?

Questions kept flooding his mind, which made him more frustrated. He sighed as he looked up to the sky. He wanted to scream, shout even. But he knew well that it wouldn't do anything to get his memories back.

Izuku then passed by a park as he looked at it, lights covering the park as the fountain glistened. Izuku looked at the rushing water coming out of the fountain but then he saw a figure sitting on one of the benches by the fountain.

He got a closer look as he recognized the person.

"Raiden-san?"

Moments ago

Raiden Mei strolled outside to get some fresh air after they returned from the cafe. She wanted to take a breather. She then saw a nearby park that she found empty. She sat down on one of the benches as she looked at the fountain. Watching the water as she saw reflections of her past.

Her memories when the Honkai Persona first appeared and Kiana saving her from it. Going into with Kiana and Bronya and enjoying their school year but it all changed. Kiana turned into the Herrscher of the Void, stopping her then saving the people in Arc City.

Her adventures with Kiana halted there when they met in Nagazora, Kiana always risking her life to the point she didn't care about herself. Mei couldn't stand for it so she took in the Honkai energy in Nagazora and became the Herrscher of Thunder. Fighting against her friend and leaving her with everyone in the Hyperion.

Then on her first mission with the World Serpents. Fighting the Herrscher of Ice and finding out about Ana and Owl. A lot has happened throughout her life. She sighed as she looked up at the sky. Stargazing at the countless stars lighting up. She had questions about her mission.

Why was the World Serpent after Izuku? Is he really a Herrscher? She felt no possible Honkai energy at all and yet they still want him? And Kevin, his curiosity about the boy raised even more questions. Who was Izuku? Even the boy in question didn't even know who he was.

"Raiden-san?"

She widened her eyes as she looked at the direction of the voice to see Izuku standing on the sidewalk. Her purple eyes staring at his emerald eyes.

Present

Mei waved at him as Izuku waved at her as well but she noticed his hand was all bandaged up, including his other hand as well.. She widened her eyes in shock as the last time she saw the boy his hands were completely fine.

Izuku approached her, "It's nice out here isn't it, Raiden-san,"

"Indeed, but I can't help but notice the bandages on your hands," Mei pointed out.

Izuku looked at them as he scratched his head as he was a bit embarrassed.

"An accident happened but I'm fine, honest,"

"I'm fine…Mei-senpai,"

She knew he was lying, it also seemed that he had a lot on his mind as well.

"Sit down, let me take a look," Mei said.

Izuku waved his hands in rejection, "I'm fine I swear you don't have to bother-"

"Sit," she demanded as electricity sparked in her eyes.

Izuku stiffened as he gulped, "Yes ma'am!"

He sat down beside her as he brought his hands up to her. She gently took his hand as Izuku flushed a bit, his heart pacing a bit.

Izuku didn't know why he was nervous, maybe it was the fact that he hadn't had many encounters with the opposite gender when he arrived other than Faith and her friends. Izuku was alone with Mei at night, he wondered why Mei was here in the first place.

Izuku's hands were now unveiled as Mei saw it was partially bleeding but it was patched up a bit. Either way though using his hands could cause excruciating pain when he grabs something or balls them up.

She looked up at him as it looked like he was thinking about something. She was curious, what could get him so distraught.

"Is something on your mind?"

Izuku looked up at her as he shook his head and smiled at her.

"It's nothing just thinking that's all,"

She wrapped the bandages carefully again, "I'm willing to listen," she said.

Izuku was hesitant at first, he didn't know how to respond. Whether to tell her frustrations or not, she must be pretty busy anyways but a part of him wanted to tell someone.

"Well, it's just…I want to know who I am,"

Mei looked at him, Izuku's eyes looking away from her. "Everyone here tells me to wait and let my memories come to me but it's… frustrating. I find out I have powers that I have no idea how I got them," Izuku ranted.

He ran his hand through his hair as he sighed in frustration. He looked at the fountain as he saw a slight reflection of himself.

"Everyone knows who they are but me," Izuku said.

Mei silently listened as she finished wrapping his hand but also gently clasping both hands against his. Izuku turned to look at her as he saw her giving him a gentle smile.

"Izuku, It can be frustrating but just like your hands, it takes time to heal. Not everything comes quickly, patience is all we have when we can't find something that we've been searching for a long time," Mei said to him.

Izuku widened his eyes, "Your memories will come to you, if you rush thing it will only hurt you in the end,"

Izuku looked down as he slightly nodded. Mei smiled as she let go of his hand. Izuku placed them on top of his lap as he thought about what Mei said. He was still frustrated but also Mei and Henry were right. Rushing things could hurt him and the people close to him. Using that power without fully grasping what it can do could harm others.

Izuku looked at Mei and smiled at her, "Thanks, I guess I just really wanted to know who I was,"

Mei shook her head, "I understand, from now on try not to cause anymore damage to your hand,"

Izuku chuckled, "I will don't worry,"

They both sat there in silence as they both looked at the fountain but then Izuku broke the silence.

"So why are you out here?"

Mei looked at him as she then looked back at the fountain, "It's… has something to do with a friend…"

Izuku looked at her, "A friend? Did you both have a fallout?"

Mei frowned, "I guess you can say that, ever since we fought, I haven't seen her in awhile. But I don't regret what I did,"

"You don't?"

Mei nodded, "My friend has a tendency to always risking her life for others, to the point where she didn't care about herself,"

Izuku widened his eyes, for some reason. He… related to Mei's friend… something told him that he too would risk his life as well.

"You are the same you know," Mei pointed out.

"I…" Izuku didn't deny it because he was willing to risk his life for a little girl he didn't know.

Mei giggled at the dumbstruck Izuku, "In a world without my friend is a world I can't live in, she helped me through tough times, so I would rather be a sinner than to let my friend die,"

Izuku was astonished at her resolve, no wonder why she was so strong when he first met her. Izuku wondered if this friend of hers knew about her resolve as well.

"You're amazing…" He blurted out.

Mei widened her eyes as she looked at him. Izuku realized what he said as he frantically waved his hand, "Ah, Imeanthatyouknowit'samazingthatyourfriendhasanamazingfriendlikeyou!Yeah

that'swhatImeant!"

Mei laughed at his sudden outburst as she thought it was cute. Izuku flushed as he buried himself in his arms, waiting to die of embarrassment.

Mei looked at him as she pulled out her phone as Izuku looked at her in confusion and tilted his head, "Hm?"

"Let's trade contacts, we can meet here for talks like these again,," Mei said.

Izuku smiled as he nodded, "Yeah sure!" He pulled out his phone as they both exchanged numbers.

"Thank you Izuku, I enjoyed these talks," she smiled at him.

Izuku blushed a bit as he nodded, "Yeah I did too,"

She then got up as she waved at him, "I'll see you around sometime then,"

Izuku nodded, "Bye Raiden-san,"

She then left the park, leaving Izuku alone as the boy looked at his phone as he looked at her number and name that he wrote down on his phone.

He then froze in place at the sudden realization. Izuku abruptly stood up, 'Did I just get a girl's number?' Izuku thought.

One…

Two…

Three…

"I just got a girl's number!" He freaked out a bit.

Mei walked away unknowingly to her that she felt happy for the first time in a while.

Schicksal HQ

A clash could be heard throughout the area as Otto was amazed at the sudden strength of this person called Shigaraki. He was keeping up with Durandal, trading blow for blow and whenever Durandal would land a fatal blow. He would regenerate in an instant.

"Hahahaha!" Shigaraki laughed maniacally as he grabbed her lance as he then decayed it in an instant. Durandal let go of her weapon as two knights appeared behind her. Shigaraki pounced towards her as he tried to grab her but one of the knights with a shield, bashed into him, sending him flying. But he stopped in mid-air as he started to scratch his neck.

Shigaraki evilly grinned as he then felt something overwhelming coursing through his body, something that pulsated power through his body. All he heard in his head was one word.

Destruction

Shigaraki brought his right hand out as he focused that power in his hands as it created black electricity around his hand, forming a black ball of energy out of his hand. This energy was pure Honkai Energy as he launched it towards Durandal.

The knight with the shield stood in front of her to block it. Durandal moved out of the way but when she turned her head, she widened her eyes in horror because as soon as the black ball touched the shield, the knight along with the shield crumbled into nothing as the black ball shot through multiple facilities before it disappeared.

Everything that the ball touched, decayed into nothing. Durandal looked at this new Herrscher as she resolved herself to end this monster once in for all.

Shigaraki took a step forward, "You're in my way," he grinned.

But before he could move, golden orange chains burst out of the ground, wrapping around him, as it binded him to the ground.

Durandal widened her eyes as she turned to see Otto pull out the Void Archive.

"Shigaraki was it, your power is truly magnificent, it reminds of another power I've seen," Otto complimented him.

"Overseer?" Durandal questioned his words.

"You've done well Durandal, but let me handle this,"

"Understood,"

He looked at Shigaraki, "Let me make you an offer, Shigaraki,"

Shigaraki looked at him with curiosity, wary of this person. But Shigaraki just smiled as he started to struggle against the chains, making them loose.

Otto felt the chains starting to lose the grip on him. "I don't care what you have to say, I just want to destroy anything that stands in my way!"

Shigaraki broke free from the chains as energy burst out of his body, sending a massive shockwave throughout the area. Shigaraki then charged at Otto as he brought his hand out, ready to grab the Overseer.

But he stopped right in front of him as new chains held him in the air, the man struggled to get out as Otto injected something into his neck.

"Apologies but with you at my side, then I can surely see what you can do for me,"

Shigaraki started to feel his eyes get heavy as he was close to closing his eyes. "No… not yet…not until I… destroy…Izuku…Midoriya…"

Shigaraki then fell into a deep slumber but Otto froze as he stood there over Shigaraki's slumped body.

"Izuku…Midoriya…" Otto uttered.

He smiled as he rubbed his chin, "What an interesting turn of events,"

He turned as he looked Durandal, "Have the remaining Valkyries look him up and make sure he can't move, we don't want another one of these incidents again,"

Durandul nodded as she went on her comms and ordered some Valkyries to rendezvous at her location. She walked over to the unconscious man as she remembered his attack, that black orb. This Herrscher was too dangerous. She turned to Otto as he walked away.

"What do you intend to do with this monster,"

But Shigaraki's deep slumber stirred something within him, the man that has been trying to take control, even though Shigaraki took control he still lurks inside his mind.

One word came out of his mouth with a wicked grin.

"One for All, Little Brother,"

With Izuku

Izuku gasped for air as he shot up from his bed, he looked around as he felt a cold air around him like a dreadful sensation. Izuku shook his head as he looked at his alarm. It was 8:15 as he then got up and went to brush his teeth. He got dressed in his uniform as he walked out of his apartment but only to be met with Faith with her arms crossed.

"Faith? What are you-"

"Lemme see your hands," she demanded.

Izuku was shocked at the sudden tone as he brought up his hands. She grabbed them as she scanned them, she briefly looked at him for a moment which confused Izuku.

She sighed as she then smacked him on top of his head.

"Ow! What was that for!"

"For being reckless, I get it you're curious but things like this could get you injured," the blonde warned him. She then walked away from the door as Izuku rubbed his head.

"Sorry…I just wanted to know but I get it now, I won't do anything reckless again," Izuku reassured.

Faith smiled at him, "Good, now get to school before you're late,"

Izuku nodded as he swung his bag on his back as he waved her goodbye.

She watched him as she frowned, she knew that Izuku was getting frustrated. The power that Henry described could very well hurt him so she didn't want to risk him being hurt.

At Hashbul Private High School

Dan and Izuku were sitting at their desks as they ate their lunch. "Still can't believe you activated it again,"

"And like I said it was an accident," Izuku said.

"Which brings me to my point, we need to help you use it not only to get better control but to regain your memories," Dan said.

Izuku shook his head, "I promised Henry and Faith I wouldn't use it,"

Dan pouted as he crossed his arms, "Ah mam come on this could be once in a lifetime,"

Izuku just sighed, "I'm sure I'll use it in the future just not now,"

Dan still wasn't satisfied as he turned his head to the other way. Izuku awkwardly smiled but then he felt his phone buzz as he looked at it as he was shocked to see who texted him.

Mei was texting him, Izuku was a little shocked at the sudden text.

"What's up, who texted you?" Dan curiously looked over.

"Oh um just someone, don't worry about it," Izuku said, covering his phone so he wouldn't look at it.

Dan was suspicious as he widened his eyes, "Don't tell me you're texting a girl!"

He said out loud as everyone in the class looked at them with strange looks. Izuku slapped his hand over his mouth.

"Can you not shout!" Izuku whispered.

Everyone then continued to mind their business. Izuku sighed as he looked at Dan who had stars in his eyes.

"Well who is it, who's texting this amnesia boy,"

"It's none of your concern okay we're just friends relax," Izuku said as he blushed a bit.

"Oh but whoever it is, is making you blush. Come on, spill it! Who is it?" Dan was up in his face.

Before Izuku could give him an answer, the bell rang, signaling lunch to be over.

"Come on tell me who's texting you,"

Izuku just sighed, "It was the girl in the Cafe that one day,"

Dan thought to the day as he widened his eyes as he looked at Izuku, "You sly dog!"

"We're just friends, relax okay!" Izuku hissed at him

"I want to know how you got her number and-"

"Dan, face forward class is about to start," the teacher said.

Dan jumped as he turned around, Izuku sighed as he quickly opened his phone to look at the text.

Raiden Mei:Hey, are you going to the cafe today?

Izuku then replied

Izuku Forthbright: No not today, I'm off today. I'm going to hangout with a friend after school

He replied, he then looked away as he looked at the front as the class was getting settled in.

He then heard his phone buzz as he looked at it again.

Raiden Mei: I see, that's a shame. I was looking forward to talking to you. Oh well I'll see you next time

Izuku slightly blushed as he just put his phone away as he buried his head into the desk as he thought about going into work today but he shook his head. He promised Dan they would hang out today.

With Raiden Mei

She looked at her phone as she was done dealing with some honkai beast on the outskirts of the city.

"So how's the luck with the boy," Raven asked.

Mei didn't reply as she walked away, Raven smirked as she followed behind.

"Oh? Does someone have a soft spot for our target,"

Mei just stayed silent as she kept walking. Raven just shrugged as she caught up with her, "Anyways, up ahead should be the remaining Honkai Beasts,"

Mei nodded as they walked through the forest but saw an opening out of the treeline. The two walked out of the forest to see a ruin covered in moss and roots.

The ruin looked about hundreds of years old. They walked as they scanned the area as Raven looked at their location.

"Was there a ruin near the city before?" Mei asked.

Raven finished researching as she nodded, "Apparently so, this city has been in ruins for nearly 200 years,"

Mei walked around as she saw some modern buildings covered in moss as she scanned the area. She then stepped on something as she looked down to see she stepped on what seemed to be an action figure. She grabbed it as she dusted it off, it was an action figure of a man with a herculean build, the colors were worn off but she saw a bit of blue, red and yellow on the action figure.

She then looked up to see a bridge that seemed to be damaged a long time ago. The sign was covered in moss and vines but there were two letters poking out amongst the vines.

Mu-

"Oi Raiden, we got company," Raven said.

Mei stored the action figure away as she turned around to see a couple of Honkai Beast appearing.

She then readied her blade as the Honkai Beasts were ready to strike.

But unknown to the duo, one Honkai Beast fled as it headed straight to the Hashbul city.

With Izuku

"Dan, are you sure about this?"

"You got this, I know you got this,"

Izuku just sighed as he looked at the bowl of spicy ramen. He gulped as he then took a bite and swallowed. He widened his eyes as he grabbed a cup of water as he quickly drank the water.

"Why the heck is that so spicy!"

Dan laughing his ass off, "You should've seen the look on your face,"

Izuku asked for another glass of water as the chef nodded as he poured him another glass.

"Now on with the main topic," Dan gave him a serious look.

Izuku raised his eyebrow, "What?"

"Well are you going to tell me how you got that girl's number,"

Izuku just sighed, whenever it involved girls, Dan was always curious like that time when Faith and her friends showed up and Dan was shocked and kept pestering him.

"I saw her at the park and we talked for a bit, it got to the point where we exchanged numbers." He said.

Dan smirked as he ate his Ramen, "You know, I think you got a little crush on her,"

Izuku blushed a bit as he looked at him, "Like I said, it's not like that at all. Can you please stop talking about this,"

"Nope, not dropping this until I die,"

"Izuku groaned as he looked at his Ramen, he then sighed and then steeled himself as he ate the ramen.

"Oh wow!" Dan said as Izuku was holding back the tears at how spicy it was.

A couple of hours later

Izuku was holding his stomach as he groaned, "I'm not eating that again,"

Dan was laughing to the point he had tears in his eyes. "Even the boss was laughing at you, hahaha!"

Izuku glared at him, "Why did you even recommended that anyway,"

"Just to see how you would react, and I got some nice pictures," Dan teased.

Izuku just sighed as he looked at the time, 6:05p.m.

he looked at the street as it wasn't busy as usual, "You know it's not as busy as usual," Izuku pointed out.

Dan looked around as he nodded, "Now that you mention it, there isn't a lot of people here,"

Izuku wondered what was the occasion, he continued walking with Dan, "So where should we go now?" Izuku asked.

"Hmmm, I was think karaoke or the arcade,"

"I think the arcade is a good place to go to," Izuku said.

"Oh come on, just because of that one time-"

"Please don't remind me," Izuku pleaded.

Dan just laughed, "Alright let's head to-"

"Ninth watch out!"

Izuku widened his eyes as he felt a painful stab on his head. He turned around to see where that voice was calling him.

"Hm what's up Izuku,"

Izuku looked at Dan as he widened his eyes. A Chariot was standing right behind Dan as it was about to swing its arm at Dan.

"Dan! Watch Out!" Izuku jumped in between the two as Izuku got hit by the arm, feeling the full force but it also took Dan with him as well as both of them were sent flying. Dan rolled as he hit a railing, he laid there unconscious.

Izuku however was sent to a wall as it made a small crack. Izuku coughed up blood as he felt his left arm broken. He felt like he was hit by a wrecking ball. He looked up as he saw the Chariot was walking towards Dan. Izuku widened his eyes as he pushed himself up with his right arm as he ran towards Dan.

He then jumped on the Chariot's back to distract him away from Dan.

The Chariot retaliated as it shook Izuku off, Izuku was in the air as he then felt another force collide with him as he was sent back down on the ground.

Izuku was facing up as the Chariot flipped him. Izuku coughed up even more blood as he then looked at Dan's unconscious body again.

'Get up…'

Izuku told himself, Izuku turned over as he struggled to get up. He looked at the Chariot walking towards them.

"Get up…!"

Izuku slowly stood up as he was bleeding from his head now as blood trickled down his face.

he stood there in between the two as the Chariot was about to slam its arm down on him.

Izuku tried to call on the power once more, "Come on! I need to protect him! Please!"

The arm then swung down as Izuku saw his life flash before his eyes.

"Come on! Let me protect him!"

A memory flash through his eyes, a man that had a herculean build with blonde hair that had two tufts stuck out. A bright smile looked back at him.

"All…Might…?"

'Huh?' Izuku's final moment was thinking, who is All Might?

The shadow of the arm covered his whole body as he was about to face death until a gunshot pierced through the Chariot. Leaving a hole through it. Izuku looked at the Chariot in confusion as he saw another shadow over him as he looked up and saw a girl flying over him as she then landed on top of the beast as she stabbed a needle down through its head, Killing it.

The monster vanished into particles as Izuku stared at the girl who saved him, she had long white hair and she wore a black jacket with a white skin tight suit as she held the needle like a sword. The need was shaped like a lance with black and white.

The girl turned towards him as he saw her face, her blue and orange eyes staring back at the bright emerald eyes. Izuku stood there as he then slowly started to see his vision blur as he started to fall, his body getting heavy. He heard the girl say something but he couldn't hear as he then collapsed on the ground.

All he had were questions, who was the girl? And who is All Might?
