Brooklyn's arms, legs, tail, and wings were all tied down. He soon started to come out of his sleep. He moaned and tried to move but found he couldn't move much. The humans were standing around watching.

When his vision focused again, Brooklyn looked around and he turned his head to the right. He felt a little pain in his right wing. "Ugh, where am I?" he said groggily.

"That's easy, Monster. Right where I want you." A familiar voice spoke.

Brook looked to his left and saw a familiar looking human. His eyes widened. He instantly struggled. His breathing picked up.

"You won't get loose. Nice to see you again, Red. I see you have been doing well in your time since you escaped me." The doc declared.

"Let me go!" Brooklyn demanded.

"Oh, no, no. You are mine to keep until you give me what I want." The doc replied.

"And what do you want?" Brook asked. "Or should I have to ask?"

"I set out to do a special experiment and wondered if it would happen, to be capable of happening, and I think it has. You carry the key to gargoyle/human crossbreeds." The doctor boasted.

Brook's eyes widened. "NO!"

"I aim to examine you and get some DNA from what you carry inside that belly of yours." The doc proclaimed.

"NO! You're not going to touch me!" Brooklyn shouted in panic and tried to get free again. He also remembered his fall and hoped the twins were alright.

"Oh, but we must. Considering your fall from the air, we must make sure the little one survived too." One of the other men stated.

Brooklyn still tried to get loose. He had to protect his stomach, but with him all tied down like this, his belly was easy to access. He looked down at it. It was still swollen but were the babies still alive inside him? He wasn't feeling them right now. 'Oh, please let them be alright.' He prayed in his mind anxiously.

An ultrasound machine was then wheeled over to the table. Brooklyn panicked. He moved again. "AGH! Don't do this!" He pleaded.

The men ignored him as some slimy gel was once again squirted onto his round belly. It was super cold. It made him flinch. But he wasn't about to stop squirming. "Hold still, Red. I must examine the baby." The doc ordered.

"No! I won't let you!" Brook snarled.

The doc looked at one of the bigger men. He came up and slashed a knife out of its sheath in a flash. It startled Brooklyn that he jumped and held still. The red gargoyle saw the knife. The man then took a hold on Brook's throat. "You better hold still or else the consequences won't be good." He warned the scared gargoyle.

Brooklyn looked at him with wide, panicked eyes. He held still. He gulped in fear. The man held onto his throat but not tightening his grip. The knife was still in his sight too. He felt the wand being applied to his belly. Brook closed his eyes, tears forming.

With Brooklyn finally cooperating, the doctor was able to get the image that he wanted to see from inside the belly. He saw the image of a little baby gargoyle that looked much like the father.

"Ah! I see a nice image of a baby inside your belly, Red." The doc declared.

Brooklyn had no choice but to let the evil man see his precious baby, with the threat of possibly losing one of his eyes or something with the knife so close to his face and a hand on his throat. Then he felt the wand being moved again. He wanted to suck in his stomach but there was nothing he could do on that with the twins making his belly swell out.

"And there's the second one." The doc exclaimed.

"Please, don't hurt them." Brook pleaded.

"I knew there was the possibility of the twins both surviving, but it was to at least give one a fighting chance." The doc said. "Now, to get what I need from them. I don't plan on harming them; I just need a little DNA from them."

Brooklyn instantly tried to move and the grip on his throat tightened. Tears fell from his eyes that he couldn't control. Fear was just radiating from his body. He had to hold still.

The doc picked up a needle syringe and with it, pricked Brook's belly, making him flinch. "Agh!" He couldn't help but yelp. The doc had wanted that response from his patient, smirking.

The doc now concentrated on getting the needle to the first fetus. He moved it slowly and the needle soon pierced through the sac and then, the doc poked the fetus in the thigh. The baby didn't move. The doc looked at it and there was a heartbeat on it. It was alive, just likely still asleep from the drug. When he had what he needed, he pulled the needle out.

"Got it. The same now for the second one." The doc stated.

Brooklyn winced when he felt a second poke in the stomach. His breathing was panicked.

"Calm down, Red. You're fine." The doc said to the distressed gargoyle.

Brooklyn still felt the needle going deeper into his poor belly. "Oh, please stop." He choked out.

"When I get the baby's DNA, now hold still."

The doc soon poked into the second baby's thigh and collected some DNA from the twin as well. It too didn't move. The doc also saw a heartbeat on the fetus. It too was alive. The needle was then withdrawn.

Brooklyn was relieved when the needle was out of his belly. "Are they...?"

"They're fine, Red. Both have good heartbeats." The doc said. "Right now, they're likely still asleep. Let go of him for now."

The big man's hand finally left Brook's throat. Brook let loose a sigh of relief. Tears still fell. He eyed the syringes full of his babies' DNA. "What... what are you going to do with those?" Brook asked.

"Examine the DNA results of gargoyle/human crossbreeding." The doc replied with an evil smirk.

"What are you talking about? I never mated with a human." Brooklyn retorted.

"That's right, you didn't. But we took some of your seed anyway and used it to fertilize some human eggs. Your babies are not pure gargoyle. They are part human." The doc explained. "Or didn't you know that?"

Brooklyn's eyes widened. "No, I didn't. Why did you do this to me?"

"The Illuminati deems all unnatural creatures to be unnecessary for survival unless they truly have a purpose. And with your kind, never knowing where to find a female, our scientists were able to create a false uterus and implant those eggs inside you. Now you know where your babies came from and how they were created." The doc explained to him.

"But even when you see the results, what are you going to do afterwards?" Brooklyn demanded.

"I don't intend to let you go again, at least until it's time for the babies to be born. Then we'll put you down and give your body to science. The babies will also be used as test subjects, or they will be destroyed as well to understand their body chemistry."

Brooklyn couldn't believe what he was hearing. How could these men be so heartless?!

"NOOO! I won't let you do this to me or them! They are innocent babies. They deserve a chance to live. I want them!" Brooklyn yelled angrily. "LET ME GO!" He squirmed again.

"You aren't leaving anytime soon." The doc said as he now turned away, ready to examine the DNA results under a microscope.

Brooklyn knew he had to escape and get away from here. He had to protect the little innocent lives he carried inside him. He looked down at his belly. 'I promise to get us out of here, little ones. I won't let him hurt you. I'll die before that ever happens.' Brooklyn thought to himself. He hated being bound on his back like this.

He was also worried about his right wing. It hurt. From the feeling in it, it felt possibly broken. His stone sleep might heal it, if set properly.

The doctor definitely wanted to get to work right away examining the babies' test results to see if they turned to stone and see if there were going to be any defects in their health. If he deemed them bad, he would gladly terminate them and start over. He didn't care about the red male's consent. He would do it again in a heartbeat.

...

Upstairs, Demona had now broken into the warehouse, looking for Brooklyn and the humans. They were nowhere to be seen, but she saw the elevator. Bingo! She was going to find those losers and make them pay!

...

The doctor looked at one the twins' DNA and was fascinated. He also had them compared to Brooklyn's DNA from collection last time. Brooklyn was definitely their father. The mothers were anonymous. They were just egg donors. They were from two different women. The babies were only twins based on their father carrying them.

Brooklyn was both shocked and amazed at learning more about his children, of how they were created since he had played no natural consent in the process. But it didn't matter to him. They were his offspring, nonetheless. He wouldn't let them be harmed.

Then, suddenly, the elevator dinged. The men and Brooklyn looked over. Who could that be?

When the doors opened, a blue-skinned redheaded female gargoyle sprang out. "Fools! I'll have your heads for this treachery!" It was Demona! Her eyes were flared red in anger.

"Great!" Brooklyn muttered. What could she want?

The men went to attack the gargess but she quickly made short work of them.

Brooklyn struggled again in his bonds. He tried putting all his strength into getting free, but he couldn't get loose. Then, one of the men came up to him. He had an assault rifle in his hands. Brooklyn gasped.

"You won't be allowed to live and those babies of yours will be born early to see how they do in incubators or test tubes instead." The man grinned evilly.

"NOOOO!" Brooklyn panicked, looking up at the man with sad eyes.

Demona heard the red male yell out in fear. She had dealt with the doctor just now and then she leaped across the room. The gun went off. Brooklyn closed his eyes, and he felt no pain. When he opened his eyes, he saw Demona pick up the human and destroyed the gun. She then threw him into the wall, knocking him out.

Then the gargess turned to him. Brooklyn saw that her right arm was bleeding. She had taken the shot for him. He glared at her. Then she began undoing Brooklyn's bonds. He had to have a little help. He couldn't bend down to his feet right now. She soon had him free and then she looked for some bandages for her arm.

When the red male stood up, he still felt a little dizzy from the drug, but he wanted to look at his wing. Would he able to use it? It hurt too much. It was bent at an awkward angle.

"Your wing looks broken, Brooklyn." Demona said. She was wrapping her arm in some bandages she found on a counter.

"Why did you come after me?" Brooklyn demanded.

"To appease my daughter. And I was the only one around to help you. Of course, I could have just followed them here and gotten the clan to get you out, but it would have taken too long." Demona declared.

"Should have gotten the clan instead." Brook rolled his eyes. But then, some dizziness took over from the stress of his situation and from the drug in his system still. He felt himself go unconscious again, sinking to the floor but not before being grabbed by some strong hands.

...

The gargess knew that the young Second in Command of her former clan would never thank her for saving his life. She had tried to harm him and the clan one time too many, but she had been his only hope this night.

Demona could have decided to end Brooklyn's life right then and there, being vulnerable to her. She then saw the swollen belly. She never thought Brooklyn would let himself go like this. He must have been so lonely for a female of his own that he decided to eat so much to get fat like Broadway, she thought. She had no idea the real truth yet.

The ancient female pushed Brooklyn on the gurney up to the top again and then got him to the roof and carried him to one of her hideouts. With the broken wing, he wasn't able to glide. She was being merciful tonight. She had had a turnaround since seeing her daughter a lot.

Demona carried Brooklyn to one of the spare rooms and laid him on the bed, tucking him in. He was still out of it. She glared at the sleeping male. He had been through a lot in one night.

After all the attacks he had done to her, should she keep him here and torture him some more, as she might have wanted to punish him instead of letting humans do it, or let him go. Demona let him sleep. He was breathing steadily.

A few hours later, Brooklyn awoke in a soft bed. He found he wasn't restrained. He looked around the room. It wasn't his room at the castle or the one he had been using at Robbins' house. Where was he? Had the doctor put him in a bed?

Brooklyn sat up and put a hand to his head and moaned. For the second time that night, he said, "Where am I?"

Then, his door opened and in stepped his worst nightmare. Demona stood before him. His eyes widened. He kept the blanket over himself to hide his belly from her. He moved away from her when she approached the bed. She had a glass of something in her hand.

"Oh, relax Brooklyn. I got you out of that warehouse torture place. You're free of those wretched humans that were going to kill you." Demona declared.

He still glared at her warily. "Why did you bring me here?" he demanded.

"For you to rest and recover. Your right wing is broken. Stone sleep should heal it. I set it in the right position. You wouldn't have been able to get home on that wing." Demona explained. "I brought you some tea. You must be thirsty."

Brooklyn felt his mouth was rather dry, but he didn't feel he could trust her not to poison him or something. And he had his babies to think about too.

"Drink it or not. Doesn't bother me none. I could have left you back there to perish. But I promise I didn't poison the tea." Demona stated.

Brook still eyed the drink, then her again.

"Tell me, Brooklyn. Why have you been gone from the clan all this time? You must have been eating a lot as I saw you have gained weight." She declared.

"That's none of your business. I'll never tell you anything." Brooklyn growled at her.

"Fine, be like that." Demona snarled and left the room.

Brooklyn was glad she left. He didn't want to be here anyway. Instead of taking the tea, he slowly got out of the bed and rubbed his belly. "I hope you two are alright." He then felt a little kick inside him.

He smiled. The baby had woken up. He hoped the other one had too. Being drugged in his condition wasn't good.

He now knew more of his kids' parentage, but he didn't care one way or the other as long as they were going to be alright.

Dawn soon came and he turned to stone. He just hoped that Demona wouldn't shatter him in his sleep.
