Chapter 2
With Pein:
'The Rinnegan'
Pain could do nothing but stare in shock at seeing another pair of Rinnegan. Something that should not be possible. As far as he was aware there can only be one Rinnegan so how could this demon have them.
'…And why do they look different?'
There was something off about those eyes.
Before he could think more on it, Konan appears beside him with a look of surprise as well, wondering who the hooded demon was who was talking to Jiraiya.
"…And don't worry about Nagato. Ill deal with him soon enough" the hooded demon spoke surprising them that it new who Pein was.
With Jiraiya/ Moments prior:
"Who are you?"
One second he had been walking away from the 3 Pains he had put down only to be caught off guard as a fourth Pain appeared followed by being pulled through a wall and then landing next to his hooded individual.
Although now that he thought about it, the hooded stranger did save his life.
"Jiraiya-chan, look at his hands"
Hearing Pa say that he looks at the strangers hands and is shocked to see pale yellow clawed hands.
'What the hell!'
"Who am I? I guess you can say im a friend of sorts so just call me, Demogoblin" the hooded demon spoke startling Jiraiya out of his thoughts. "…And don't worry about Nagato. Ill deal with him soon enough"
Normal Pov:
Seeing the main Pain aka Yahiko's body tense along with Konan at hearing Nagato's name, Demogoblin can't help but chuckle before it turns into a full blown laughter.
"What's with those looks? Of course I know about the red head who may or may not be hiding in one of those buildings while being strapped to that contraption because he can't walk anymore"
Hearing this Jiraiya stands back up and stands next to the hooded demon while glancing around to see which building his former student could be.
"How do you know about Nagato" Jiraiya finally asks getting Demogoblin to smirk.
"You could say we crossed paths long ago" Demogoblin responded vaguely.
Before Jiraiya could ask him more questions they then hear Pains voice.
"You two know too much already and must be dealt with"
Saying this all six paths jump towards the two intent on finishing them off while Konan stays back. Demogoblin seeing this conjures hellfire in both hands.
"Let me handle this, Jiraiya"
Before the toad Sannin could protest, demogoblin then points both palms towards the incoming paths and unleashes two streams of fire in their direction while the Petra path moves ahead of the others to absorb the "jutsu".
"Wait Demogoblin! The big one can absorb jutsu!" Jiraiya yelled, knowing full well any jutsu was useless while that path was around.
As for Demogoblin, he couldn't help but chuckle at that. "Who said I was using jutsu"
To Jiraiya and everyones shock the Petra path is unable to absorb the "jutsu" and is then burned alive with the flames being so hot that it turned the path into ashes which scattered in the wind all the while Demogoblin jumped in the air, eyes glowing as he summoned the hellfire glider.
"One down, five to go"
Not wasting any time, Demogoblin ascends into the and conjuring several pumpkin bombs he starts tossing them all at the paths which begin detonating wounding two of the paths while the Asura path jumps in the air and reveals several missiles in its arm which then shoot towards Demogoblin who easily dodges them with his glider followed by having the mouth of the glider open and unleashing a big hellfire missile of his own at the Asura path while it was still in the air.
Pain seeing this uses the Yahiko Pain to pull the Azura path towards him just barely missing the missile while also moving away as the missile impacts the spot they were just in.
With Jiraiya:
He couldn't believe what he was seeing. The hooded demon not only took out the path that could absorb chakra but he was now putting the remaining paths of the defensive.
"Jiraiya-chan"
Hearing the toads calling to him he glances at them.
"I know the demon said he'd take care of Pain but he didn't say anything about the woman. I think this is the perfect time to capture her so we can learn of this Nagatos true location" the green toad said with the purple one agreeing.
Jiraiya hearing this looks back at Konan and sees her looking at the fight taking place from above one of the buildings after having dodged the fire missile.
''She's distracted'
With a nod he then disappears in a cloud of smoke.
With the Yahiko Pain:
Who or what was this demonic being. Not only had it somehow bypassed the Petra paths absorbtion technique but the fire had also burned the body to ashes meaning he could not revive it.
Looking towards the animal and human paths he could see both were now missing an arm meaning they wouldn't be of much use unless they caught the hooded demon off guard somehow so for now they would only be used to keep an eye on the demon.
As for the Naraka path, he wasn't going to risk using it anymore seeing as it would be disastrous if it was destroyed which left him with only the Asura path and the Deva path.
As he is about to think on his next move he then feels a familiar pull which then lifts him into the air towards the demon who had shot another of those flaming missiles leaving him no other choice.
"Shinra Tensei"
Not a second later the missile explodes causing another massive explosion with the Yahiko path falling freely back down all the while keeping an eye at the explosion only for his eyes to widen as out of the fire comes the demonic winged creature flying towards him with two razor sharp blades that had the Asura path impaled in its mouth intent on impaling him next.
But wait…
"Where is the hooded demon?"
"Right behind you"
Hearing this the Yahiko path glances behind him only to see the hooded demon with what looked liked a red rotating sphere.
