"Hurr…y, I can't ho…ld out for… long," said Jack as he held his throat as it was starting to get tougher to talk.
"We… we can't," said Quint.
"You ha..ve to, or eve…rything ends," said Jack while looking right at June who was the closest to him. June then stood with her spear in hand.
"I'm sorry," said June before stabbing the weapon through his heart, causing Jack to spit out blood.
"No!" screamed Rezzoch as a light poured out of Jack's eyes and mouth and up into the sky above all of them.
"Jack!" said June while catching him. His body had turned sickly white, including his hair and eyes while the spear remained embedded into his chest.
"Sorry for letting you guys down like this," said Jack as he laid on the ground in June's arms looking up at everyone.
"It's nothing dude, any of us could have fallen for it," said Quint who was crying.
"No, you were too smart to fall for his trick no matter what he tried on you and Dirk actually cares for people too much to let Rezzech in no matter how much he pretends he doesn't," said Jack.
"And you still have hope to find your family, June, I was the only one who lost all hope and that gave him the chance that he needed," he said.
"Jack," said June, who could not hold back her tears by this point.
"I'm also sorry for calling you a damsel, I just liked you so much that I was blinded to how tough you are," said Jack
"I wish… I could have said it… earlier," he said before turning into dust, the last sound any of them heard was that of the spear hitting the ground which was covered in a dried blue liquid
"No!" screamed June as everyone lost control of their emotions and just broke down crying.
