Saturday, I watched the move, "The Creator." I got to say, one of the best movies I've seen this year that isn't from a franchise I know. Really great form of originality and made me re-think the possibilities of advanced AI. I definitely recommend it.

I'll admit this chapter could have been posted earlier but I went on a road trip Saturday and didn't have much access to Wi-Fi for a period of time long enough for me to add my finishing touches.

Reviews

Hell Breaker:

1) Understandable. You have my school and a handful of funerals to thank for that.

2) You know, I have already actually thought of that.

Vale=USA

Menagerie = USSR.

Vacuo=Africa or Asia. . . Yeah, definitely Africa. Wait, Australia fits them more, doesn't it?

Mantle=Other countries of Asia.

I will admit though, I had thought of it being Mantle, because Mantle lost the Great War, right? Just like Japan. Eh. Maybe in another fanfic.

DJ Rodriguez:

You're welcome.

Now I think that's because I'm looking at the transcript of the Japanese version. Wait, that's not what you're talking about. Well, yes, most characters in this series will be replaced by RWBY characters. Look up RWBY Multiverse stories and you'll find the same. Mainly focused on Jaune. This is going to be different.

I had a feeling you would know about Mystery Science Theater 3000. I've watched a couple of episodes of that show when I was younger. Good times. Do you know if they reacted to Godzilla films? Because I only know about Gamera.

Glad you enjoyed the chapter.

Monster King: Thank you.

Mr. Awesome: I have some plans in the future. Those will take time, but I will get to them eventually. Showa Era films are a definite yes, though.

Now without further ado, here's the next chapter.

Chapter 2: The Return of Godzilla/Godzilla 1985 Part 2

A bullet train was shown speeding by the Toto Press Office Building at night. Sounds of chatter is heard as Cyril walks through the room. He ignores the other reporters trying to talk and greet him as he walks to the editor's office.

"Hey! Why'd you drop my story?" he demanded in an upset tone about the fact that his story about Jaune and the Yahata Maru wasn't made public. The editor, Kitagawa, glances up at him with a raised eyebrow as Cyril asks, "What the Hell's going on?"

Ozpin and his Inner Circle as well as the members of Team RWBY, JNPR, SSSN and Oscar with Ilia and Penny knew why the story wasn't made public. Whitley and his mother opened their mouths to voice their curiosity of the matter, but Winter raised her hand at them and mouthed, it'll be explained, I'm sure.

"Wasn't up to me," Kitagawa simply replied, unbothered by Cyril's anger. "Talk to Godo." The editor stands up and leads Cyril to Godo the chief editor's office.

Godo is seated in front of the two men. "It's wrong, I know." he admits. "But it's a national security matter. But what the public knows is that the Okura, the crew and the Yahata Maru are unofficially unaccounted for."

"But it's news!" Cyril protested. "And that's not true!"

"Certainly, Cyril." Godo concurred. "But there's nothing to be done."

The reporter isn't convinced to let this story drop. "What's the big secret?!" He demanded. There had better be a good reason why a story like this should be swept under the rug.

The civilians in the room shared the same feelings as Cyril.

"The big secret," Godo slowly leans forward and lowers his voice. "Is Godzilla." Cyril's eyes widened.

"Godzilla?" he repeated in an amazed tone.

The Audience, even Salem and Ozpin, felt chills up their spine upon hearing that name a second time.

"I don't believe it!" he exclaimed in disbelief. "You better believe it," Godo snapped. "If we print your article, we'll plunge the entire Kingdom into panic and the disaster will be immediate. It's a matter of journalistic responsibility." he said, pointing at Cyril sternly. "You know why we can't print the story now. In the meantime, don't breathe a word of this, not to anyone.

Cyril understands but he was still bummed out. "It's not fair. It's a big scoop." he whined. "What am I supposed to do in the meantime?"

"Don't let it go," Kitagawa said as he leaves the office. "Stay on top of it. See what background you can turn up."

"There is a man you ought to call," Godo said thoughtfully, rubbing his chin. "A biophysicist by the name of Oobleck. I suggest you see him immediately."

"Oobleck?" Cyril repeated to himself.

"Oh sweet! We're going to see Professor Oobleck in this!' Ruby exclaimed excitedly.

"IT'S DOCTOR!" shouted the Beacon History teacher's voice from. . . nowhere? Most of the Audience looked around for the source but found nothing. No voice recorder or the man himself.

". . . Huh." Was all Yang could say.

The Oobleck Bioscience Institute is a tall building is what the Audience see when the scene changes. Cyril walks in the hallway of the 20th floor before he finds the right office and enters. He walks past many computers and machines towards Bartholomew Oobleck working with a microscope.

"Hello?" Cyril called out to the green haired man. "Excuse me, sir? Professor Oobleck?"

"It's Doctor," (1) Oobleck said curtly, glancing at the reporter briefly before turning back to the microscope.

"Cyril Maki of the Atlassian Toto Press," Cyril introduce, holding a hand to shake. The doctor ignores and snorts. "Oh really? A reporter?"

Putting his hand down, Cyril asked, "What are you working on?"

"Genetic mutation designs," Dr. Oobleck replied.

"Genetic mutation designs. . ." Cyril mused before raising an eyebrow. "Does it have to do with Godzilla?"

The scientist stiffens subtly and turns to the reporter.

"Feels weird to hear Oobleck not talking at high speeds," Yang stated getting nods from the students nearby. Even Cinder and her team nodded in agreement. Dr. Oobleck was difficult to understand with that motor mouth of his.

Ozpin and Glynda were used it as were most of the adults of the Good Side save for Willow, Ghira and Kali. Most of the villains save for Cinder and her team knew what Yang meant.

Both doctor and reporter are now sitting in two chairs in a different room. "I heard you lost your parents to the last Godzilla attack thirty years ago," Cyril noted. "Is that right? I imagine that this has made you a bitter man," he said sympathetically. "Was it vengeance that drove you to study Godzilla?"

"At first," Dr. Oobleck stated. "But not now."

"Doctor, they say Godzilla is a mutation," Cyril began. "A monster made by radiation, is that true?"

"He is a product of civilization," the doctor replied in a grim and somber tone. "Man are the only real monsters. Godzilla is more like a nuclear weapon."

Adam snorted in bittersweet amusement at the sentence regarding man being the real monsters.

"He is true, in a way," Haruo said with a shrug. Some people looked to him. "There are no Grimm in this world. Without them as a buffer, humanity would expand across Remnant for more Dust or other sources of energy. Sparking wars between each other. Destroying the environment and killing wildlife species in the process. In this franchise many monsters are results of mankind and Faunus."

Most of the Audience (Except a few. Few guesses on who those are.) grew somber for a moment before Oscar rose a hand. "What's a nuclear weapon?" he asked.

Haruo opened his mouth to respond before pausing. "In due time, young Oscar." was all he said.

"Nuclear weapon?" Cyril repeated. Oobleck nodded. "A living nuclear weapon. Indestructible. . . destined to walk the earth forever." The doctor pauses to put his pipe in his mouth. "A victim of the nuclear age."

"Indestructible?" Cyril repeated getting another nod. "Absolutely. Godzilla is impervious to all known weapons."

"Outstanding," Yang and Blake muttered sarcastically while most of the Audience dreaded the idea of a monster being indestructible.

Adam rubbed his chin. Should he enjoy the idea of being indestructible or not?

"That can't be true," Ironwood said, horrified at the implications that there was a monster indestructible like so. Haruo tilted his head. "You'll just have to see for yourself," he said simply.

"Excuse me, tea?"

Jaune perked up at the familiar voice.

Saphron Arc walks into view and serves the two men tea. She quickly leaves, unaware of Cyril's startled expression watching her. Oobleck rose an eyebrow at his reaction. "Do you know her?" he asks.

"Look at this," Cyril reached into his pocket. He pulls out a photo of Jaune and Saphron smiling and hands the photo to the doctor.

Oobleck furrows his brow. "Where did you get this?"

"From a guy on the boat," Cyril points to Jaune in the photo. "Her brother," Oobleck informs the reporter.

"Her brother?" he repeats. "Then she. . . doesn't know. . ." Oobleck shakes his head. "No, she doesn't know," he said sadly. "And, unfortunately, we aren't allowed to tell her. Neither of us."

"Then you've seen him too," Cyril stated in realization. "You're in on it, too. Aren't you?" Oobleck doesn't answer and looks away in shame. And who can blame him? He was keeping a woman in the dark about her brother being dead or alive.

"How many people have to be hurt?" Cyril asked.

"So, Jaune is that woman really your sister?" Ren asked the blonde knight next to him. Jaune nods. "Yes, Saphron is one of my older sisters." he replied. "She's has a family of her own in Argus."

"Oh yeah, I forgot you have seven sisters," Pyrrha said. This surprises most of the Audience that didn't know that tidbit.

"Seven sisters? I can barely handle one!" Qrow exclaimed, pointing to Raven who rolled her eyes.

Adam shook his head in disbelief. He briefly thought of wondering if one of Jaune's parents were a Rabbit Faunus before shaking his head. That was a stereotype of Rabbit Faunus. At least as far as he could tell.

That night in the elevator hall on the first floor, Cyril waits with a newspaper in hand. Saphron walks out of the elevator. When she doesn't acknowledge him, blocks her path. "Hi, excuse me," he says nervously.

She glances up at him and recognizes him from earlier. "Off the record, what do you do for the doctor?" he asks. The blonde woman glances him over before dismissing her suspicions. "I'm in his seminar in the university and I work part-time in the Institute. . ." she gives him a deadpan expression. "And I don't like reporters."

Some of the Audience snorted or chuckled in amusement at her jab to the reporter.

Saphron starts to walk away but Cyril follows. "I understand that Jaune Arc is your brother." He states. Saphron paused in her steps and turns to face him. "Yes. Have you heard anything about him?" she asks with a hopeful smile.

Cyril's expression become regretful before shaking his head. "Sorry, only what I've read." he said. Saphron's expression becomes somber. "Nobody has," she said sadly.

"Too bad," Cyril said before muttering, "I wish I could tell you more."

This made Jaune consider speaking to his sister, any of his sisters really. He hasn't really spoken to any of them since after the Fall of Beacon. He nodded to himself. Yes, he will definitely call his sisters and parents when he has a chance.

Later that night, Cyril and Saphron walk through the Shinjuku Central Park. "Are you close?" Cyril asked curiously. The blonde woman nods. "Yes, we are. . . very." she adds. The reporter gives her a sympathetic glance.

"He works at sea," Saphron decides to explain. "His salary pays for our educations. He's all the family I have." Her expression becomes downcast. "I have to be optimistic. . . especially now. . ." she trailed off and Cyril stops in his tracks.

This down casted Jaune, knowing that in this world he only had one sister. Granted, seven sisters is considered to be too much but he loves them all the same. To know that not all of them exist in another universe was a little disheartening.

"Just tell her," Ruby said quietly. "Please just tell her." The students and most of the adults agreed, even if the older members didn't show it. Especially those who were siblings. Even to an extent, the Branwen twins despite the fallout (And that's putting it mildly) they had recently.

"It's not right!" he exclaimed angrily. "I can't believe the government. . . they won't even tell his only sister that he's alive!" Saphron's expression lights up in hope. "Then he has been rescued." She's had her hope dwindling as the weeks go by but now, they were skyrocketing with Cyril's answer.

"Yes!" Ruby cheered. Many others were also glad that Cyril was going to tell Saphron the truth.

"Do you think he's going to mention that it was Godzilla that attacked her brother's boat?" Pyrrha asked curiously. "I don't think so," Qrow replied. "I think he's just going to tell her where her brother is."

Winter nodded in agreement. "Cyril may tell the truth about Jaune, but that is because she deserves to know the truth about her brother." she added. "The truth of Godzilla is still classified and irrelevant to her."

Jaune was shown resting in a hospital bed before he could hear shouting outside. "LET ME IN! LET ME IN!" Saphron's voice shouted. "I'VE GOT TO SEE HIM! PLEASE! LET ME GO!"

Jaune sits up upon recognizing the voice. "Stop her! Get her out of here!" A man shouts in the hallway. "Please! Just let me see him!" Saphron shouts as she manages to open the door. She rushes past the guard. "Saphron!" Jaune exclaims.

"Come on, she's already there. Just let her get a glimpse of her brother," Yang said, imagining herself and Ruby in the scenario. Though, she'd be punching anyone that tried to keep her away from her sister.

"Get her out of here!" Another guard shouts. "This is a private and secure area!" Saphron rushes in. "Jaune!" she cries in relief as she runs to his bed and the two siblings hug each other.

"I-I'm sorry I worried you," Jaune says sheepishly but Saphron shakes her head, tears welling in her eyes as she hugs him tighter. "You're alright. That's what matters."

The guards have the decency to let the reunion play out and give them privacy.

Everyone (Save for a few villains) were glad that the siblings reunited and that the guards gave them some privacy. Jaune smiled at the scene as well as those who had siblings (Or at least good family ties.). A few like Emerald, Mercury and Cinder looked at the scene enviously.

The scene changes to somewhere underwater. A nuclear submarine is seen advancing, the sound of sonar is heard. The inside of the sub is quiet save for the sonar equipment. All the censoring devices are in action. The crew appear to be all Faunus.

"What is that vessel?" Winter asked. "That is a submarine," Haruo answered. "It's designed to go down to the deep depths of the ocean and withstand the pressure and temperature." he explained. "This one on screen is a military grade nuclear sub."

"Fascinating, a vessel capable of traveling underwater," Glynda said in awe. Ironwood nodded. While they had designs for such vessels, the Grimm were a massive handicap for testing them, especially the bigger Grimm.

"All of them are Faunus," Ozpin noted. "More equality for Faunus in this universe?"

"That and Menagerie is more of an independent Kingdom with a larger territory." Haruo replied. "Remember, No Grimm, more expansion of territory." This made the Faunus feel a burst of pride, even if it was another universe. Well, except Tyrian. The Scorpion Faunus never really cared about Faunus rights since he became an insane serial killer.

Neptune stared at the screen fearfully and shook. Beside him, his partner and teammates either facepalmed or shook their heads in exasperation. They need to have Neptune work on his aquaphobia.

Most of the crew were shown looking at the sonar and radar, watching an unidentified object approaching them. The captain and commander stand in the center of the room. Subtitles appear as the Faunus speak in their own language.

"Depth: 300 meters," spoke one of the operators. "Distance: 4500 meters. Direction: 12 degrees. It's approaching."

"Huh, so Faunus have their own language?" Weiss asked. Blake nodded before she looked thoughtful. "Actually, this is making me realize another perk of a world without Grimm." The Cat Faunus stated. "In our world, we're focused on combating the Grimm. Without them, we'd develop more diverse cultures and maybe different languages." Most of the older Audience, including Salem and excluding Tyrian, nodded in agreement with what she had said.

"Ugh, that'd be a pain to learn," Nora groaned. She's glad that there's only one language used in their Remnant.

"I actually think that would be fascinating," beamed Penny with a smile.

"Thank goodness for subtitles," Ruby muttered to Oscar who nodded.

"Enemy craft, attack posture, off the port bow ahead." The commander said, speculating that whatever was approaching was an enemy craft. The captain turns. "Sonar confirmation?" he asked.

Over the intercom, two other operators reply.

"Not one of ours. Could be Valean with sonar cloaking."

The first operator speaks again. "Distance: 3800 meters. Speed: 40 knots."

"How fast is 40 knots?" Ruby asked her partner. "Nearly as fast as you, I believe." The former Schnee heiress replied.

Penny made notes about the mentions of sonar cloaking. It sounds fascinating.

"Emitting active sonar."

"What is it?" the commander asks. "It isn't a whale. It can't be."

"What else has active sonar?" the captain asked in response. The second operator speaks again. "It's huge."

"3400 meters. Speed increasing. 43 knots." the first operator informed. The captain speaks to a speaker phone. "If it's not a Vale atomic sub. . . what else could it be?" he muses.

"3000 meters and closing." The third operator reports. "Direction: 12 degrees. As it is, we'll collide head-on."

"Arm torpedoes," the captain ordered. They had no idea what the object was, but it was better to be safe than sorry. "Torpedoes armed," the third operator stated. "Prepare to fire." the captain said. The first torpedo button was pressed. When he gets wind that the object was getting closer, he orders, "Prepare to dive. Dive! Take it down, fast!" The depth meter shows a quick dive. Outside, the Audience see the Menagrian sub diving fast.

"Torpedoes away!" the third operator declared. "Fire one! Fire two!" Moments later, a shockwave reaches the sub. Most of the Faunus flinched at the sound but brush it off. Then comes another. "Torpedo one direct hit! Torpedo two direct hit!"

"No return fire, sir!" the second operator reported. The first operator speaks up. "Captain! It's still coming! 100 meters and closing fast!" A beat of silence before he panics. "Take evasion action! It's right on top of us!"

Suddenly the ship shakes violently as if gripped by some tremendous force.

"Notify the base!" the captain exclaims. "We're under attack!" At that time, a pair of decisive shocks are given. An explosion occurs with flashing light. Torrential water rushes in, the crew members are washed away, screaming.

A fierce explosion occurs, and the screen is filled with blinding light.

Most of the Audience grew tense as the crew onscreen. Ironwood, and a few others grew intrigued at the mention of atomic sub. The host had mentioned it as well. Many grew sadden at the deaths of the Faunus onscreen, especially the Faunus in the Audience. Except Tyrian. Adam himself also felt a hint of remorse, especially he has a suspicion that it was his counterpart Godzilla as the culprit.

"Gods damn," Yang muttered. She reached to grab popcorn, only to find that she's empty in her bin. She reaches into Ruby's bin and takes a handful. Blake took out her notepad and written more notes.

Truth about Godzilla's (Adam) return is kept from the public.

Reporter helps Jaune's sister reunite with Jaune.

Menagrian submarine is attacked.

Possible culprit: Godzilla.

"The suspense is getting to be about this Godzilla," Emerald admitted. "We have his name spoken by a few characters and I think it's obvious that Godzilla attacked this sub."

"Most monster movies are like that," Jaune said. "At least those that aren't about Grimm."

"Well, from the movies I've seen, I'd say they're doing the suspense right." Roman remarked.

Apologies for the long wait. I hoped to write this over the summer but I learned I can't write my stories on my phone. School started for me last month but I didn't have time to focus on this. Leave reviews, they inspire me to keep writing and make my day. (Or night.)

1) I know Hayashida is a professor in the movie, but I like the gag of Oobleck always saying that he's a doctor.
