Through Time and Space

Coming to, my head was throbbing. I feel weak but not powerless. What happened? Blinking my surroundings into focus, I only recognized one smell. One heartbeat. Lena's here. "What happened?"

"Ah, you're finally awake."

Turning my attention towards the male voice, my stomach dropped seeing three Luthors sitting on a nearby couch. "Lex…" My eyes fell on an unreadable Lena. Even now, she's breathtaking. Guilt filled my chest and I shifted my gaze towards the floor. "What do you want with me?"

"To kill you, of course," Lillian quipped. "Without you getting in the way, my family can finally make this world a better place."

"Without aliens," I muttered.

"Exactly!" Lex laughed, moving across the room. Picking up a device, he made his way towards the youngest Luthor. "Now, little sis, prove that you're with us. Get rid of Supergirl."

"Gladly." Taking the device, Lena stood. Pointing it at me, I closed my eyes and bowed my head. "Look at me," she hissed.

Wincing at her tone, I met the woman's gaze. "I deserve this for hurting you. Go ahead. Do it." Maybe this pain in my chest will finally stop.

"Goodbye, Miss Danvers." Pulling the trigger, there was a glimpse of my Lena in her eyes.

I was engulfed in a portal and spit out in a dingy, damp alleyway. I'm not dead. What happened? Rubbing my head, I looked around. Where am I? Getting to my feet, I walked towards the street. Picking up a discarded newspaper, my stomach dropped. New York City? I read the date. 1970? What did Lena do?

"Hey, blondie!" Folding the paper, I noticed a few sketchy looking guys walking towards me in trench coats. "That's a nice outfit you've got there."

"Why don't you come with us?" Another asked with a sinister grin.

"Look guys, you really don't want to do this. I don't want any trouble."

"Oh? Why is that?" The first one asked. "You're not from around here. Our boss would like to meet you."

"Don't do it," I warned. I feel like myself. Maybe a little weak from whatever Lex used to capture me but I think I can handle this. One lunged at me and I side stepped him. The other two pulled switchblades. Sighing, I shook my head. "Why do bad guys never listen?"

All three men were in a groaning pile in a matter of minutes. "Next time a lady says not to do something, listen to her."

Maybe this will help me blend in a little better. Taking one of the coats, I slid into it. The fabric reeked of pipe tobacco. Making sure no one else was going to attack me, I started down the sidewalk. I'm definitely not in my dimension anymore. 1970's New York City though? Why here? Thankfully, I still have some of my powers.

As I walked, I felt myself being pulled towards something. Since I had nothing better to do, I followed it. I'm never going to see Alex, Lena, or anyone else ever again. I'm not sure if that's better or worse than being dead.

Finding myself in front of a hotel named The Continental, I decided to go in. I guess I have to stay somewhere. Start a new life and live out the rest of my days in this world.

Entering the rotating door, I dodged a few men in suits as they walked by. "Can I help you, Miss?" The man behind the counter asked.

"Yes, I-," My attention was drawn to a nearby elevator opening. My jaw slacked seeing a brunette woman standing before two men in black suits. Lena? "Ow!" Feeling a sharp pain in the back of my neck, everything faded to black.

Becoming aware of my surroundings, I found myself in a dimly lit room, on my side, with shackles around my wrists. Hearing a throat being cleared, I got to my knees and followed a line in the carpet, up a pant leg, a tourso, to a familiar set of piercing green eyes. "Lena?" I questioned. Why is she wearing that mask?

The woman's head tilted as a dark brow rose. "I'm not sure how you know my actual name but that's all more reason to keep you here. I saw the aftermath of my previous henchmen."

"Previous?" My brow creased.

"They failed so I disposed of them." The woman's voice sent a shiver down my spine. Standing, Lena came to squat before me. Gripping my jaw, the brunette examined my face and looked me over. "Quite the looker, aren't you? Interesting outfit." A dark chuckle vibrated the woman's throat. "How interesting."

"What's interesting?" I tried desperately to keep my voice even. This version of Lena is killing me. They look almost identical. The only difference is their eyes.

"Normally, when I have someone abducted and shackled before me, they're terrified." She leaned closer. "You're not," she whispered.

I silently cursed my body for whimpering. "Who are you?"

Standing, Lena peered down at me. "I'm known as The Adjudicator." Her brow rose. "Now, what should I do with you?" You could take me to bed. Oh, gosh! "From the look on your face, you have an idea or two. I can't let you go. You know too much."

"Look, I don't know anything about you. You just look like someone I know. The fact that you share the same name is a fluke."

"This woman, this Lena, you speak of, is she your lover?" I swallowed hard, looking away. "She's not but you want her to be." Tilting my chin upwards, she continued. "In my profession, I don't have time for relationships. Most women are too weak for my taste. But you're not. While I make you tremble, it's not normal." Stepping back, Lena placed a hand on her hip. "Up," she ordered.

Doing as instructed, I stood. "What are you going to do to me?" Why have I not broken free yet? It would be so easy.

"What do you want me to do to you?" She purred, stepping closer. "I have a few ideas since you seem so willing." Agile fingers teased the outside of my thigh causing me to shiver. "You want this, don't you?" Swallowing, I looked away. Mildly ashamed of myself. "Answer me."

"Yes," I breathed.

"There are rules at play here but I think you'd be more than willing to follow them. Am I wrong?"

"No." My heart is pounding. "I want you…"

"Don't lie to me. Most people die that way. You want what you won't allow yourself to have and you want me to fill that void." Entering my personal space, The Adjudicator whispered. "I might be the one touching you but you'll be thinking of her the whole time."

"I'm sorry… Just do with me what you will. I'll never have her and you don't deserve to be used like that. If you let me live, I won't mention any of this. I'll find my way home and never speak of you or this place. I don't want any trouble."

"You're in love with her. I can see it." Pulling out a set of keys, Lena unlocked the shackles.

I met the woman's gaze. "What are you doing?"

"It wouldn't be fair for you to be shackled like that." She paused, a devious glint in her eyes. "Once you're in my bed, that might change."

"But…"

"I never said I wasn't using you as well." Hooking a finger into the neck of my suit, Lena continued. "If you truly don't want this, I won't force you."

The words came before I could stop them. "Take me."

"I plan to," she purred. "How do you get this," Lena motioned to my suit, "off?"

"Oh." Pressing the crest on my chest, my blue suit turned into civilian clothes. Not sure why I didn't do that before.

"My, my." Lena's eyes darkened. "You are a looker." Running her hands up my arms, she took me in. "What do I call you?" She paused. "Besides "mine"."

I whimpered at the thought. Heat pooling between my thighs. "Kara."

Gently, the brunette caressed my cheek with the back of her fingers. "Such a pretty name for a pretty face."

Leaning into the touch, I studied the woman before me. "Do I get to see your face?"

"You can see all of me, if you'd like," she purred. Nodding, I smiled. "Very well." Holding my gaze, The Adjudicator gripped her mask as she unclasped the straps.

She looks exactly like Lena. Maybe a few years older. Her eyes are still different though. "You're beautiful."

"Not many people get to see my face and live to tell the tale." Blood drained from my face. "Don't worry. You won't end up that way unless you give me reason."

"You said there were rules…" My voice trailed.

"You may mark me, if you wish, but only under clothing. Understood?"

"Yes, ma'am."

"Good girl." Closing the distance between us, Lena kissed me hard. I moaned and surrendered instantly to her touch. Desperately, I tugged at her clothing. "Eager one, aren't we?" She whispered against my ear before nipping my pulse point.

"Fuck me," I breathed. Tugging at the tight bun, brunette locks cascaded down the woman's shoulders.

"As you wish." My clothing was on the floor in a matter of minutes. Picking me up, Lena set me on her desk. I gasped, feeling slender digits move through liquid heat. "Very eager." Capturing my mouth again, my lips parted when I felt the tip of Lena's tongue.

Clinging to a strong shoulder, I moved my hips against each thrust. "Please…" Dipping her head, I felt teeth graze my shoulder before sinking into my skin. Coming undone, I leaned forward and shamelessly moaned into dark purple fabric. Becoming still, I sighed. "Do I get to reciprocate?"

"If you don't, I'll do it myself." Retracting her fingers, I shuddered. "Touch me like you would your Lena," she paused. "Do you need a minute?"

A new fire ignited inside me. "No." Quickly, I changed our positions. Kneeling before the powerful woman, I met her questioning gaze. "May I taste you?"

"Yes." Lifting her hips, Lena allowed me to remove her trousers and underwear. I was pleasantly surprised by how damp they were. Putting one leg over my shoulder, I dipped my head between milky thighs. A throaty groan escaped The Adjudicator as I drew designs with my tongue. "Kara…" Tangling her fingers in my hair, she tugged causing me to moan. It wasn't long before I was drinking her ecstasy and felt her pulse under my tongue. Petting my head, she spoke softly. "Let me take you to bed." Standing, I wiped my mouth. "Let me show you things about yourself that you've never seen before." Taking my hand, Lena led me into the adjoining bedroom.

The large king sized bed and nightstands took up most of the room's space. "Have you ever been handcuffed before?" I shivered feeling strong hands on my hips. "Besides earlier."

"No," I breathed. "Not in a sexy way." I'm getting lost in her touch. I want to feel her mouth on me.

"Do you want to be?" Dipping her head, The Adjudicator kissed my shoulder and up my neck. One hand sliding over my hip and between my thighs.

Sighing, I tilted my head giving greater access. Leaning into the older woman, I reached behind and tangled my fingers in dark locks. Her touch. It's almost gentle now. More like what I imagined Lena's to be. Turning, I wrapped my arms around my lover's neck. "By you, yes."

"Go lay down and get comfortable." She kissed me quickly. "You'll be there a while," she teased.

Doing what I was told, I watched with anticipation as Lena sauntered close and unclasped the clips of her shirt. Letting it slide down her arms, the brunette was left with only a lace bra. "Enjoying the show?"

"Very much so," I grinned.

"You'll enjoy it more soon," she purred. Opening a drawer, Lena pulled out a set of handcuffs. Instantly, my arms went above my head and wrapped around an iron bar. A devious grin tugged at red lips. "So obedient." I watched as Lena cuffed each wrist with care. Leaning down, she kissed me with a mischievous glint in her eyes. "I promise you'll enjoy this. Too tight?"

"I have no doubt. They're fine." My jaw slacked when Lena fully undressed and climbed onto the bed. Straddling my hips, she peered down at me. "Rao…" I want to explore every inch of her.

"With that look, I have a feeling you want to touch me." Slowly, Lena ran her fingers down her stomach and between her thighs to tease. "Am I wrong?" I whimpered seeing Lena's head fall back and a soft moan fill the room. She grinned when I growled at the cuffs that stopped me. "You're not going to be touching me anytime soon, Kara. But if you break those, you won't touch me at all. Understood?"

"Yes," I squeaked, feeling nails run down my side. I moaned, feeling Lena rock her hips against me. "You're going to be the death of me."

Leaning over me, she grinned. "Oh, but what a death that would be." Laying claim to my lips again, Lena took my bottom lip between her teeth and let it snap back. "Shall we begin round two, my pet?"

I whimpered at the term. Slowly, skilled fingers teased my opening causing my hips to buck. "Touch me… Please."

"With pleasure…"

Many hours, and countless orgasms later, I collapsed onto the bed. I tried catching my breath as I laid next to Lena. Her pale skin glistened with sweat. "Rao."

"Have you ever been with a woman before?" She questioned, eyeing my naked body.

"No." Becoming self conscious, I covered myself with the sheet. "Just you." She's laying there, not a shred of fabric covering her, holding up a conversation.

"Where are you from?"

"The California area," I paused. "About fifty years in the future."

"That explains a lot," she laughed. "How did you get here?"

"My Lena shot me with an invention she created. I think it was originally a gun of sorts but she changed it."

A dark brow rose. "Invention?" I nodded. "You have a thing for intelligent, powerful women, I see. Why did she shoot you?"

"I don't know…" My voice trailed. "She was trying to prove her alliance to her mother and brother. Her family hates mine. Beyond Lena and I, our families are enemies. Before I was sent here, I betrayed her. Hurt her like everyone else in her life has." The lump in my throat became painful. "The one thing I never wanted to do."

"The betrayal of a loved one hurts more than anything else."

"That's why I'll spend the rest of my life regretting my choices." She called me "Miss Danvers" to get my attention. Thinking back, I remembered the look in her eyes. It changed. Did she plan this?

"You've put something together." Shifting to her side, The Adjudicator studied me. "What is it?"

"She planned to send me here, or somewhere, instead of killing me."

"She couldn't bring herself to kill you." Tucking a stray hair behind my ear, she continued. "I can see why." Tilting my chin, she kissed me softly. "But now you have to live your life here." Lena paused, thinking something over. "If you can't make it home, you can stay here."

"W-With you?" I searched tender green eyes.

Getting to her feet, Lena slid into a purple silk robe. "Yes, as my lover and my bodyguard. I'll give you some time to think about my offer."

Sitting up, I held the sheet against me. "Where are you going?"

"To order food and give you privacy. I've worked up quite an appetite." Lena closed the bedroom door behind her.

Falling back onto the bed, I stared at the ceiling. Could I actually stay here with this Lena? Being her bodyguard during the day and coming to her bed at night. I shuddered remembering her touch. My body is on fire all over again.

The wooden door frame to the suite cracked before swinging open. "Where is she?" Lena growled. The blood drained from my face. I must be dreaming.

"Ah, you must be the Lena my pet cries out for." She paused. "Well, our pet. You just haven't tasted her yet."

"Our pet? Who the hell are you?"

"I'm you apparently. Just from this world. Why did you send Kara away? The fury in your eyes speaks volumes about how you feel about her."

"I-I had to," Lena's voice softened. "It was this or actually kill her. No matter how upset I am, I could never kill her. Or let anyone else." Making myself known, I entered the suite's main area. "Kara!" Clearing the space between us in a matter of steps, the brunette wrapped me in a tight embrace. "Thank God it worked and I found you!" She buried her face into my neck.

"Hi…" Wearily, I reciprocated the embrace with one arm. The other made sure to keep the sheet in place.

Leaning back, dark brows creased. "Kara, why are you only wearing a sheet?" She looked at the littered clothing on the floor. "And why does it smell like se-," The CEO glared at her counterpart. "You slept with her?"

"You sent her away," the older woman retorted. "Just because you don't have the courage to take her to bed doesn't mean I don't." A mischievous grin played at the woman's lips. "Such a pity. You're really missing out." The Adjudicator's attention moved towards me. "Clearly, your Lena has feelings for you too. She crossed dimensions to find you and wants to kill me for touching you in such an intimate way."

"Is…is that true?" I questioned, looking towards the CEO.

Closing her eyes, Lena took a steadying breath. "Yes. When I mended your suit last, I placed a tracker in it that only I could access just in case something ever happened. This wasn't what I had in mind but it worked in my favor. When I realized what Lex and my mother wanted me to do, I tweaked the gun. I wasn't sure where it would spit you out but it was better than killing you. At least if you were out in the universe somewhere, there would be a chance for me to find you. It just took me a week."

"A week?" My stomach dropped. "I've only been here for about half a day…"

Lena's face fell. Pain in her emerald eyes. "You slept with her that quickly?"

"I thought I wasn't going to see you again." I grinned. "And you, in any dimension, can be very persuasive."

Smirking, Lena's brow twitched. "Please go get dressed so we can go home. We'll talk more when you're not naked and smell like sex." Picking up my clothes, I started towards the bedroom.

"My offer still stands, Kara," The Adjudicator purred.

"Shut up! I have half a mind to-," Grumbling, Lena huffed. "I'm a smart ass in every dimension."

Getting dressed, I thought about the two Lenas. The Adjudicator had the nerve to take me to bed. My Lena went against her remaining family to save me. She crossed time and space to find me. She's definitely not pleased with her other self about sleeping with me. Standing at the door, I listened for a moment.

"Oh, stop glaring at me like a child. You're getting her back. There was no chance Kara would stay with me. Even if you didn't have feelings for her, she'd still follow you back."

"Less than twelve hours…"

"Get over yourself. Only six of those hours were spent having sex."

"Six?" Lena exclaimed.

"Kara is quite the lover. Her stamina is incredible. If you do actually make her yours, you won't regret it."

"You marked her…"

"And she marked me. My rule, probably one we share, is they must be covered." The Adjudicator paused. "The only reason she agreed was because she wanted you and thought she'd never see you again. Kara does have a thing for powerful women," she chuckled. "I will say, she really likes when we're dom-,"

"I'm ready!" I squeaked. "Let's go!" My face is burning.

"I know our time together was short lived but I'm glad to have met you." Tilting my chin, The Adjudicator leaned in to kiss me but kissed my cheek at the last second. "I couldn't resist."

"Thank you for the offer when I thought I'd be stuck here."

"You're welcome," she smiled softly.

My Lena opened a portal. "Ready?" She held out her hand.

"Yeah." Taking the offered hand, I smiled. "Let's go home."

"Make sure to teach your Lena the tongue thing you liked so much."

"We need to go before I actually shoot her," Lena grumbled.

Entering the portal, we exited into a D.E.O. lab. "They're back!" Alex ran towards us and wrapped me and Lena in a hug. Leaning back, she studied us. "What happened? You've been gone for three days."

"Kara needs a sun grenade and a shower," Lena mumbled.

"Why are you so upset?" I folded my arms. "It's not like you've never had the opportunity. One word and I drop everything for you."

"Guys…" Alex tried to get our attention.

"I'm upset because she got to-," A loud whistle echoed through the lab causing us both to look.

"What?" We yelled.

Taking a step back, Alex twitched. "Whatever happened out there clearly brought some stuff up. It might be a good idea to talk it over in private. Not at work." Both of us grumbled.

"Do we have any sun grenades here?" I asked.

"Yes," Alex nodded. "I'll get you one. Are you going home, to Lena's, or staying here?"

"Home." I rolled my shoulders. I'm really feeling some of those positions now. "I need to shower, change clothes, and talk to Lena." Moving my gaze towards the brunette, I smiled softly. "Can we talk about what happened? You still have clothes in your drawer."

Nodding, Lena sighed. "I'll get the grenade."

Entering my apartment, I went towards the bedroom to gather clothes. "Do you want me to get your night clothes out too?"

"No, I'll follow you."

As I looked for a sleep set, I could feel Lena's eyes burning into me. She wants to ask something. Probably see where The Adjudicator marked me. She was so jealous.

"Kara, can I…" Lena stopped, running a hand through her hair. Laughing bitterly at herself, the brunette crossed her arms and looked away. "I'm at war with myself and I don't like it. But I know, once you use the sun grenade, all evidence will be gone."

"You want to see where your other self had the nerve to touch me?" Lena's heart rate spiked as her jaw clenched. "She was right. The only reason I slept with her was because I thought I'd never see you again." Biting my lip, I sighed. "Never have the chance to be with you. I legitimately thought I would be there the rest of my life because, while she was a powerful woman, she wasn't a brilliant engineer. Even if she was, the technology wouldn't, potentially, be created for nearly fifty years." Taking a step closer, I placed my hand on Lena's forearm. "At some point, I want you to be the one to touch me. Claim me as yours." Say the rest. "Make real what I've always felt."

Stormy green eyes met mine. "A lot has happened recently. For both of us." Cupping my cheek, Lena smiled softly. "Go shower. I'll wait here." Hesitantly, she kissed my forehead. "I want you in my arms tonight. I missed you more than I realized."

My stomach fell. "Okay…"

Before I could get too far, Lena wrapped her arms around me from behind. "Don't mistake what I said for lack of attraction. I want you. I have for years." Her grip tightened. "But I want our first time to be about us and not spurred on by jealousy. I want to be the first one to touch you that day."

Shivering, I took in a ragged breath. "I understand."

After showing, I dried off and looked at my reflection. My eyes lingered on the red and light purple marks that covered my body. They're not gone yet. Holding the sun grenade, I looked at myself once more. Thank you, Lena. Pulling the pin, I let the yellow rays envelope me. My muscles tingled as my powers recharged. The post sex soreness disappeared as the light dimmed. All physical traces of that Lena are gone.

Once I was dressed, I rejoined the brunette. My chest swelled seeing Lena leaned against the headboard, book in hand, with her ankles crossed. I wonder if she's realized I left everything of hers exactly how she left it. "Hi…"

Noticing me, the younger woman placed a slip of paper into the book and closed it. "Hey, I hope you don't mind that I made us some tea. I opened the new box in the kitchen."

Leaning against the doorframe, I smiled. "I still do our nightly routine and drink a cup before bed. Some nights it's later than others but still." Biting my lip, I turned my gaze downward. "I know I ruined us."

"We both did things we regret. Over the past week, my anger at your lie was replaced with sorrow. I thought I lost you forever. The amount of joy I felt when I found your tracker," a choked laugh escaped the CEO's throat. "I wept. I think Alex legitimately thought I had lost it." Patting the spot beside her, Lena smiled. "Sit with me? Your tea is getting cold."

Climbing into bed, I sat beside Lena and sipped the warm liquid. "Mmm," I hummed. "You always made it better." Holding the mug with both hands, I studied the golden liquid as if it had all of the answers. "Thank you for finding me."

"I meant what I said. No matter how angry or upset I am, I could never kill you." Brushing hair out of my face, Lena continued softly. "I'm glad you came back with me. For a moment, I wasn't sure if you would."

Placing my tea on the nightstand, I took Lena's hand in mine. "No matter what dimension I'm in, you'll always be my favorite Lena."

Sliding down, Lena guided me to lay my head on her chest. Holding me tightly, she kissed my hair. "I love you, Kara. I never want to lose you again."

"I love you too." Sighing, I listened to my Lena's heart beat.

Xx

Months passed and our relationship surpassed no one. Apparently, there had been an ongoing bet since we became friends on how long it would take us to date. Alex won.

Touching down on the L-Corp balcony, my heart pounded. Lena left a note telling me to meet her once everyone had left and to wear my old suit. The CEO sat on the white couch reading something on her tablet with a glass of red wine on the table before her. Golly, I love that burgundy suit of hers. Tapping lightly on the glass, gained the CEO's attention.

Standing, Lena sipped her wine. She gave me a "come hither" motion with her index finger. My body buzzed with anticipation. Power radiated from the brunette as I made my way across the office. "You're late."

"I'm sorry, Miss Luthor." Kneeling before the powerful woman, I gazed upwards anticipating her next move.

"Someone once told me that you had an affinity for powerful women. Is this true?" Lena's voice dripped with seduction.

"Yes, Miss Luthor." Heat is already starting to pool.

"Question is, what should I do with you?" Tilting my chin upwards with her index finger, Lena smirked. "It will be difficult for you to beg on your knees in such a short skirt."

"Might I suggest you take me out of it then?" I offered, desperately hoping I didn't overstep in this game of ours. I made that mistake once and I'll never do it again.

"Perhaps. But first, I want to see how sexy you are in that suit sprawled out over my desk begging for release."

I shivered.

A/N: I'm joining the fun with a Supergirl/The Adjudicator fic. Please don't kill me for it not being only SuperCorp.
