AN (I know this is soooo late! And I am very sorry also I'm trying something new in this chapter so let me know if it works)

Ezekiel POV

I woke up from a very good night's sleep, you know one so good that it makes you feel younger when you wake up? Yeah, that type of sleep.

I hopped off my bed and stretched listing to the soft cracking of my bones as I looked at the clock. It was only six in the morning. "Hu I thought it would be later" I whispered to myself.

I looked around to see that no one else was up and smiled. I quickly got some of my clothes and headed off to the communal bathroom to take a nice relaxing shower. With the added bonus of being all by myself.

Third Person POV

Ezekiel had gotten done taking a nice long shower and sighed in pure bliss. 'That was amazing' Ezekiel thought to himself, then out of seemingly nowhere Izzy popped up and said "wow must have been a really good shower!"

Ezekiel screamed and jumped in terror luckily his towel stayed on. What a sight that would have been if it did not. After regaining his composure Ezekiel asked Izzy "were you here the entire time eh?"

Izzy just giggled. "No silly I just got here just in time to hear you sigh" she said with a hand wave.

"Well, I'm glad to know that eh." Ezekiel said with a small gulp, "AH! Why not are you embarrassed of me or something?"

Asked Izzy with a pout, Ezekiel scratched his head as he replied. "Um yes...no...yes...Um I mean we don't even know each other really well."

Izzy laughed and clapped. "Well maybe we could bond in the shower you know!" Ezekiel's face turned as red as a hot knife.

"Um...I...We...Um...We d-d-don't know each other r-real well also I-I-I don't think that would be very ap-p-propriate-I-I-I also r-r-really ne-e-ed to go now s-so bye!" And with that Ezekiel ran out of the bathroom faster than a leopard after its prey.

Ezekiel POV

After the very awkward and strange but still normal for her encounter with Izzy, I got dressed just as Chris called us for the next challenge. "What do you think the challenge is?"

I was broken out of my thoughts by Cody. I shrugged and simply said "don't really know eh." I then had a devious thought enter my head as a smirked and said "but five dollars says it's a talent show."

Cody smirked back and shook my hand saying "you're on prairie man!" We then walked on to the amphitheater in silence.

Once we got there Cody sat by Trent and Gwen 'he really needs to let Gwen go' I thought. He then tried to prop his feet up like Trent only to fall off the bench. I sighed and rolled my eyes at his antics, I then saw Izzy sitting near Heather and them 'I thought she didn't like her?'

She spotted me and waved. I waved back at her before I sat down by Cody.

Chris walked out onto the stage saying "welcome to our brand new state-of-the-art deluxe amphitheater!" Well it did look a bit better than other parts of the island. "This week's challenge is a summer camp favorite a talent contest!"

Owen jumped up and shouted "YES!" I just smirked and looked over at Cody saying "told you so eh." He just pouted and turned away saying "you don't have to rub it in you know."

I just went back to listening to Chris when I realized something. This is the episode where Heather read Gwen's diary out loud! 'How can I stop her?'

Is immediately what went through my head but, what if there was no way to stop her?

What if I just made things worse?

That...That can't happen right...Right?

UGH! This is too much thinking and it's starting to hurt my brain.

Third Person POV

Chris had finally finished giving his speech about the contest so the two teams walked off to figure out who would be competing.

Ezekiel was still thinking about what he could do to stop Heather and her disgusting plan or if he should stop her. "are you gonna compete?" Ezekiel was broken from his thoughts by his friend some would say his only friend Cody.

Ezekiel shrugged and said "I don't really know eh." Cody chuckled and said "well I think you should" Ezekiel raised his eyebrow and asked "really?" "yeah why not I think you must have some talent right?"

Asked the nerd nicknamed The Codemeister. He then continued on gesturing to the rest of the team "I mean it's not like we have much."

"Except of course for Trent and Gwen." Cody gained a dreamy look after saying her name. Ezekiel rolled his eyes at the antics of his friend and said "I'll think about it eh."

Cody then smiled and said "alright cool I gotta go and check out Gwen." And with that, the horny little nerd was gone leaving Ezekiel to walk and think alone.

Until Izzy appeared, "whatcha thinkin about?" She asked out of nowhere making Ezekiel yelp and jump. He then realized who it was and asked in a confused tone "where did you come from eh?"

Izzy just snorted and said "from nowhere see" Ezekiel raised his eyebrow and said "from...nowhere how?" Izzy then crouched and said "I'm a ninja!"

Ezekiel nodded his head and said "um...okay I guess." He really didn't know how to respond especially to Izzy she was just...different.

She then stood upright again and asked "so what are you thinking about?" Ezekiel wondered if he could tell Izzy about Heather and what she planned to do but he decided against it as he thought it would be a little too out there even for her. "Oh just thinkin about maybe joining the talent contest" Izzy intrigued asked "well what can you do?"

Ezekiel became quiet and looked away before mumbling something Izzy couldn't hear. "I can't hear you" she said. Ezekiel repeated himself louder looking away from her embarrassed for what he was about to say "I can play a song on the harmonica" Izzy was shocked and then shock turned to excitement "really!"

She exclaimed getting an embarrassed nod from Ezekiel in response. "well then you totally have to try out!" She yelled out in joy, "why eh?"

Ezekiel asked not sure if he really wanted to show what he could do to the other contestants. "Well, maybe I would like to hear it pretty please!" Izzy pleaded with Ezekiel, Ezekiel thought about it and something deep inside himself said he would take Izzy up on her plea and try out at least for her, but also because it might be his best bet to stop Heather if he could knock her out of the contest then she couldn't read Gwen's diary so he smiled and said: "I guess I'll try out just for you eh."

Izzy lept into the air and joyfully shouted "YES!" She then hugged Ezekiel and said, "I'll see you later Zeke!" She then ran off to nowhere, Ezekiel chuckled and muttered to himself "she sure is different eh...well guess I better go get ready."

Confessional

Ezekiel sat in the confessional with a smile "you know Izzy is a pretty cool girl eh." He then shrugged as he said "I mean yeah she's...a little different but I think that makes her unique and cute eh." He sat there for a moment before his eyes shot wide open realizing what he just said and trying to backtrack "um...Uh...W-What I uh...What I meant to say was um...Unique yeah eh unique...Please tell me that won't air on TV eh."

Confessional Over

The Screaming Gophers were all out in front of the cabin some were sitting on the steps others like Gwen were leaning on the railing. Ezekiel had his harmonica in his pocket, he was thinking of a way to stop Heather while internally freaking out at what he said in the confessional getting out. That was until Heather blew a whistle to get everyone's attention.

"Okay I'm the team captain so here's how it's going to work." That made Gwen come off of the railing she was leaning on "wait who said you were team captain?" Asked Gwen, "yeah eh," said Ezekiel backing up Gwen.

"She did just now" oh Lindsay. Of course, she would say that.

"Beth, Lindsay, and I took a vote and I won," Heather said smugly. "Threatening them to vote for you isn't exactly democratic," Gwen said "yeah eh it really isn't" said Ezekiel trying to back Gwen up again hoping for some of the others to jump in, none of them did and Heather just glared at him and said "zip it homeschool!"

Just then Trent walked up with a muffin in his hand and his guitar slung over his shoulder "hey saved you an extra muffin" he said to Gwen. Heather saw this and asked Trent in a fake innocent tone "Trent your cool with me leading this project aren't you?" Trent either not knowing or just not caring said "right on go for it" Ezekiel knew then that their plan to get Heather ousted as 'team captain' was over, if Trent was cool with it then the others weren't too far behind.

Heather smiled, "good Beth, Lindsay, and I will be the judges." Gwen just rolled her eyes and said "whatever" oh if only she knew. Luckily Ezekiel had a plan to stop her or at least he thought he did.

The first person to try out was Owen, Ezekiel remembered this part and was impressed at both the fact that Owen jugged a whole litter of soda and burped the ABCs which were two things Ezekiel couldn't do, Though if there was someone who could do that it would be Owen. Heck, all the guys were even impressed. One of which was Justin.

"ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ!" Owen burped out to which all the boys cheered on while all the girls looked on disgusted just like last time. One of them was Izzy which Ezekiel found strange, he figured that she would love something like that. Trent high-fived Owen while Heather said "well your not going to do that in this contest that's disgusting!"

"Do you know how hard it is to burp the alphabet in one go?" Trent asked putting his arms around Owen defending him, Ezekiel decided to jump in "yeah eh besides have you looked at the other team?" 'how way to be harsh Zeke they were your former teammates and all' he thought to himself.

"no disrespect but I don't think most of them have a talent that would blow Chef out of the water I mean look at the guy and besides we should let everyone try out first before we decide." Heather frowned rolled her eyes and said "fine you made your point."

Confessional

"I didn't think I didn't think that would work eh" Ezekiel said stunned that Heather had agreed to consider Owen.

Confessional Over

The next person to try out was of course the Queen Bit- I mean Bee herself Heather who did a really good ballet routine. Even Ezekiel had to admit she was good.

"I vote for Heather to be in the contest!" Exclaimed Lindsay after Heather had cleared her throat to catch her attention "I second that" said Beth with her lisp. "guys that's so sweet okay I guess I'm in" Heather said in a 'nice and humble' tone that was clearly fake and made Ezekiel roll his eyes, "why doesn't everyone take five" Heather said.

of course, Heather stopped Lindsay like last time, and well Lindsay...she was such a sweet girl but well you know. Heather just ignored her and handed her a walkie talkie saying "Gwen's up to something serious I want to follow her and report back to me" she then pushed Lindsay off to her journey...yeah we'll go with that.

Ezekiel's POV

'Oh, you're not gonna do a thing eh!' I mentally shouted at Heather before "hey you gonna try out next?" asked Izzy from literally out of nowhere.

I screamed and jumped up in the air before I calmed down and asked her "how did you do that eh?" She struck a pose and said, "I've already told you I'm a ninja!" I...didn't know what to say to that I mean what could I say maybe she was a ninja?

"okay" was all I said again what could I say besides that? "so are you gonna try out next?"

She asked me again this time it wasn't out freakin thin air I answered her "um I need to practice" I said shrugging my shoulders and giving her a sheepish smile. She clapped her hands together and asked "can I show you this dance of mine?" Before I could answer though she grabbed my hand and dragged me to these pick-nick tables or I think they were pick-nick tables.

she sat me down at one and said "perfect now just wait here while I get set up." 'shouldn't she be doing this in front of the others too eh?' I asked myself, was this a change that I made?

It was a question that will never receive an answer as Izzy started up this boombox that was on the other table that played some type of music from India if I had to guess. And she started her dance which involved her swaying her hips back and forth in a hypnotic manner that was sexy. Wait...did I say that?

"I call this the dance of the rattlesnake," she said as she swayed her hips to the music. She then formed her hands into snake heads or fangs as she began to make some sort of noise "look into my eyes what do you see?" She asked well sang more like it while dancing, I was starting to get red and hot I needed to get out of this situation "um look Izzy your good and all-" "really...You really think so?!"

She asked cutting me off "yeah" I began "I do but I have to um go practice for the show yeah." I then ran out of there as fast as I could before she could say something else.

Confessional

Ezekiel was sitting in the confessional hot and embarrassed at what happened "look eh Izzy's dance was uh sexy eh...I mean I uh..." he then left not knowing what else to say and thinking it would be best before he sticks even more of his foot in his mouth.

Confessional Over

third-person POV

The next person up was Beth she decided to twirl some tiki torches, she got a little bit too close to Heather, Lindsay, and Leshawna for their comfort(really anyone's comfort) "are you sure this is safe?" Asked Heather looking like she instantly regretted letting Beth try out. "It's okay I've been practicing," said Beth trying to reassure her 'friend' even Izzy looked nervous at what Beth was doing which should tell you something.

Beth then shot both of the torches into the air losing control and everyone including Beth ducked behind a bench as one of the torches hit the ground. Everyone was gathered around the hole in the ground caused by the torch when Trent noticed that the bush by the shower was on fire. 'This is where Justin would burst through the door and put out the fire but he isn't here' thought Ezekiel.

Thankfully Chef came out and out the fire, thankfully he didn't take his shirt off. "Alright" came the voice of Heather "who's next?" Ezekiel then raised his hand.

"Oh no! No! No! No way am I letting you compete and ruin this for us loser!"

Heather said, "you haven't even heard me yet though eh." Ezekiel shot back. The look that Heather shot Ezekiel if looks could kill, he would be ash if that.

"I don't need to loser next!" She called out before Ezekiel could argue some more, Ezekiel, disheartened that his plan was failing miserably walked off.

Ezekiel's POV

I was not happy eh, not only was my plan absolutely freakin failing! It was failing miserably!

"could this day get any worse?" I asked myself as I leaned up against the tree. I was just leaning up against the tree watching nature as both Gwen and Cody pass me. I said hi to them when Cody stopped and asked "you okay dude?"

I just nodded and said, "yeah just not feeling so hot right now it'll pass eh." He nodded and continued on following Gwen.

I sighed and put my head in my hands saying "great not only can I not stop one girl with two not-so-competent goons." Harsh I know but I was angry with myself, "I can't even snap Cody out of his puppy crush on Gwen!"

"Do you like Gwen or something?" Asked a voice that scared me and caused me to yelp and jump. It was Izzy seriously where the hell did she even come from?

"No, I just wish he would read the room and see she isn't into him eh." I said Izzy just nodded and asked "so why did you walk off?" I just shrugged and said, "just not happy eh."

I just slid down the base of the tree, Izzy sat next to me. "I was bummed too I really wanted to hear you play." I looked at her and asked "really?"

She nodded and said "I would still love to hear you play" she then scooted closer and said, "maybe somewhere more private?" She wiggled her eyebrows at me.

I was feeling a little hot so I said "um uh maybe later eh" Izzy huffed and said, "fine." She had a pout on her face, she must have really wanted to hear me play eh?

I don't know what it was but something in me hated seeing her pout like that. So I took out my harmonica and started playing a tune, as soon as I started playing she looked over at me with her eyes beaming with wonder and amazement. Seeing her smile again with that look in her eyes made butterflies flutter in my stomach.

And that in turn made me want to play more for her, especially if I could see her smile last a little longer.

I don't know how long I sat there playing the harmonica for Izzy but when I was done she simply said "wow that was amazing!" I blushed but looked away while rubbing my neck saying "th-thanks it was nothing really eh" "nothing?! That was awesome!"Izzy said.

I shrugged saying "I just had a lot of practice eh." Izzy then said "whelp I've gotta go you know places to destroy things to hunt." I stood up and saw her about to stand so I stuck my hand out and I said "here let me help you up eh." She gasped and said "why thank you such a gentleman" as she grabbed a hold of my hand.

I waved it off saying "just the right thing to do eh." "well" she began coyly "with that plus the amazing performance I think you deserve a reward." Before I could stop her Izzy leaned over and planted a kiss on my cheek, I froze like a statue utterly shocked at what happened.

Izzy giggled and ran off in what direction? That I don't know as I was lost in my own world for a few minutes after it happened.

Confessional

Ezekiel was sitting on the toilet in shock at the kiss he received. "I...Don't know...What to say eh" he finally finished as a small blush began to form on his face.

Confessional Over

third-person POV

Ezekiel came stumbling out of the confessional still in a daze at the fact that Izzy had actually kissed him on the cheek. He didn't notice Heather who had raised an eyebrow at his behavior 'something's off' she thought and decided to call him out. "What's up with you homeschooled?"

She asked, Ezekiel had finally shaken himself from his stupor to see the she-beast herself (a bit harsh but hey) staring at him with a raised eyebrow. "Um...N-Nothing" Ezekiel finally replied nervously.

'Liar' Heather thought to herself a devious grin spreading across her face. She looked like a predator who had found a new animal to hunt, "are you sure?" She asked in a sickeningly fake sweet tone.

"And as team captain, I can't have one of my teammates be so...Distracted." She said with a grin that dripped with malice. Ezekiel gulped.

He didn't know what to do in this situation...He had to think of something fast and thinking on his feet was not something Ezekiel was good at but...It seemed that he would have to give it the ole college try.

"Um...Uh...N-N-Nothings wrong H-Heather." Ezekiel said nervous and a bit anxious at this encounter. He didn't like this at all...

"Listen you can talk to me." She said her impish grin making her look like the devil. And it would be a cold day in hell before Ezekiel would make a deal with the devil.

"I should um...Go..." Ezekiel said awkwardly as he stumbled away from Heather as fast as he could, Heather had found a new toy to play with...The homeschooled prairie boy himself...

"Beth" Heather called out for her farm girl sidekick, "yes?" Beth asked. "I need you to follow homeschool around," said Heather in a bored tone, to her this was too easy "you mean Ezekiel?" Asked Beth confused.

Heather facepalmed "yes Beth I mean Ezekiel...Now go follow him around and report back to me" she growled out the orders.

Ezekiel was walking around aimlessly when he stumbled into Cody, "hey man how are you?" Cody asked cheerfully. Ezekiel shrugged and said "fine eh."

"You wanna go skip rocks across the lake?" Cody asked Ezekiel smiled "sure eh!" He said, the two then walked off to the lake Beth following close behind them.

Ezekiel's POV

I was skipping rocks across the surface of the lake with Cody when I was taken back a bit by his question "so how are things between you and Izzy?" I stood there for a minute before I spoke "fine I guess" Cody nodded. "So have you two kissed yet?" He asked mischievously.

I stopped mid-throw sputtering. "W-what!?" I said.

"Have you and Izzy kissed yet?" Cody asked again grinning like an imp. "No! We're just friends!" I said.

"Uh hu...that's what they all say" Cody replied. I simply shook my head and went back to skipping rocks across the surface of the lake. I noticed that mine were making it pretty far while Cody's maybe only got a third of the way mine did, "here let me show you eh" I said as I showed him how I skipped the rocks across the lake.

Cody did what I did and the rock skipped a good four or five feet across the lake. "Alright!" Cody cheered as we high-fived.

Third Person POV

Beth walked up to Heather "anything?" Heather asked Beth as she walked up. Beth shrugged "he and Cody just skipped rocks across the lake," Beth said.

Heather growled at how useless it was but she had a task at hand she'd worry about homeschool later. "Okay we'll focus on that later," Heather said to Beth. Beth nodded and moved along to go do something else.

Confessional

Heather is sitting on the toilet arms crossed. "I know homeschool is planning something. I know he and Izzy are close!" She says to the camera.

Heather turns and looks away arrogantly before she speaks again. "But right now I have my eyes set on bigger fish like Gwen...so I'll just worry about homeschool later."

Confessional Over

The sun had fallen and the campers were gathered around the amphitheater "It's the TDI talent extravaganza!" Chris introduced the challenge. Ezekiel leaned over to Cody and whispered "what a try hard eh" Cody snickered as Chris coughed to get their attention. "Welcome to the first-ever Camp Wawanakwa talent contest! Where six campers their mad skills and desperately try not to humiliate themselves. First up for the Screaming Gophers is Owen!"

Owen then came out chugging a bottle of soda. He chucked the whole bottle. He smiled, it was a nervous smile but the Screaming Gophers were smiling back.

And then he looked a little... queasy...and his stomach rumbled.

At first, Ezekiel thought nothing of it...and then he realized what was about to happen.

"Hit the deck he's gonna blow!" He yelled out before ducking under the bleachers. Owen then indeed blew up and vomited all over the place. Luckily no one was hit.

"And for Owen's puke fest, Chef gave it a 2." Chris said as he came on stage after the stage was hosed off. "Give it up for the big guy DJ!"

DJ then came out and performed a nice ballet routine. His feet got tangled up at the end but it was still nice. Chef gave it a 2.

Next up was Trent, Ezekiel could remember this moment. Trent strumming his guitar gave an amazing performance. Once he was done Chris ran up to the stage "Nice work! I'm liking your style dude and so does Grandmaster Chef!"

Trent waved as Chef gave him a five out of ten. 'Next up is Bridgette' Ezekiel thought to himself "let's hear it for Tyler!" Chris said...'What?' Ezekiel thought.

Tyler then came out on stage and started doing tricks with his YoYo. It was fine he did the walking the dog trick and then started swinging it around on his finger before the YoYo wrapped around him. "Interesting performance," Chris said as he walked up.

"Let's see what Chef thought" Chef gave it a 3. "Not bad" Chris began. "But still losing."

As Tyler waddled off stage Chris introduced Heather. Ezekiel couldn't watch so he covered his eyes a bit.

"Originally I was going to dance for you" Heather began as she sat down. "But instead I want to celebrate team spirit with a collaboration." She finished as she held up Gwen's diary.

"She wouldn't!" Gwen gasped.

'Oh, she would Gwen' Ezekiel said in his mind.

"So with words by Gwen performance by me enjoy." She then started to read Gwen's diary. "Okay, so I'm trying to ignore him but he's just so cute if they had custom-ordered a guy to be a distraction for me here it would have been McHotty. We just totally connect he's pretty much the only person I could relate to here and I know it's a cliche but I love guys who play guitar."

There was a pause...and then Cody opened his mouth "wait...I don't play guitar."

Ezekiel almost smacked him upside the head but stopped himself. He almost cursed as Gwen ran away embarrassed and Heather ended his performance. Ezekiel did, however, calmly get up and leave to go check on Gwen.

He found Gwen crying on a stump. "Gwen?" Ezekiel called out.

"Go away!" She snapped back.

Ezekiel almost jumped but remained calm. "I came to check up on you eh" he said. She didn't respond as she kept crying.

"I'm real sorry about what Heather did eh. It was wrong of her to do that and-" Gwen cut him off "thanks you for checking up on me Ezekiel but I want to be alone right now." Ezekiel nodded and turned to leave.

But before I left he gave Gwen so more comforting words. "You'll always have a friend in me, Gwen...I think Trent also likes you back." She sniffled but smiled as Ezekiel walked away.

He ran into Cody first who looked distressed "Dude we lost!" Cody said to him.

"Hm?" Ezekiel replied already knowing what happened. "Dude it was sick! Harold came out of nowhere and saved the bass with some wicked beatboxing!"

"Sound...like something eh" Ezekiel replied.

Cody then gripped his shoulders "dude some people are thinking of voting for you!"

"WHAT?!" Ezekiel yelped.

"Why me eh?!" Ezekiel asked.

"Someone I think Lindsay said you looked guilty and Heather said you were the one to give her the diary." Oh how Ezekiel wanted to cuss so bad. "Did any of the others believe them?" He asked Cody.

"Well...no but! We should still get to scrambling bro!" Cody then dragged Ezekiel off to go and plan something.

The campfire ceremony was tense. "Screaming Gophers we meet again" Chris began "tonight one of you will leave. When I call your name come and get your marshmallow."

They sat there as Chris called the first name. "Trent" Trent then walked up and got his marshmallow.

"Gwen" Gwen stomped up and got her marshmallow. "Lindsay" Lindsay jumped up clapping and ran up to get her marshmallow.

"Cody" Cody nervously looked at Ezekiel as he walked up to get his marshmallow. "LeShawna" LeShawna gave Ezekiel a small smile as she walked up to get her marshmallow.

"Beth" Beth scrambled to get her marshmallow. "Izzy" Izzy got up and got her marshmallow. It was not just Ezekiel, Owen, and Heather.

Ezekiel started to sweat, and so did Cody as they waited with bated breath. "Ezekiel" Ezekiel breathed a sigh of relief as he walked up and got his marshmallow. "Kudos to you all for an incredible night of entertainment. Music, drama, barfing! There is only one marshmallow left Owen you barfed up a storm and disappointed everybody." Owen looked down ashamed.

"Heather you're full of surprises, but reading another chick's diary out loud to the whole world. Man, that is wack...no kidding that's really messed up." For his credit, Chris also looked upset by what Heather did. Heather snorted "just give me my marshmallow already." Chris then gave Heather he marshmallow as Owen said "oh man" The others gasped aside from Heather and her group.

"I didn't even get a marshmallow," Owen said. Ezekiel walked up with a marshmallow from Cody. "I'll miss you eh" Ezekiel said as he handed Owen the marshmallows.

Owen teared up a bit and gave Ezekiel a big hug. "I'll miss you too little guy." He then walked off to the boat of losers.

As Owen was taken away Ezekiel along with Gwen glared at Heather who paid them no mind. "I'm sorry about what Heather did" Gwen said to Ezekiel.

"Hm?" Ezekiel said confused. "The whole trying to blame it all on you was messed up." Ezekiel then understood what she meant.

"She probably did it to try and have the votes split so Owen or you with get eliminated in the scramble." Gwen said as she gave Ezekiel a small smile. She then pulled Ezekiel into a hug. "Thanks for checking up on me."

"your uh...your welcome eh" Ezekiel said as he hugged back. The two broke off as Ezekiel walked back to the cabins with Cody. Later that night Ezekiel could sleep soundly with the agonizing screams of Heather.

(AN once again I am so sorry for how late this is...I wish I had a good excuse but life got in the way. I'll try and be more active I promise.)
