A/N #1: It was great to receive the feedback for the last chapter so I'll so ahead and start my thank you for that! Mb (Really pleased to read that you thought the first half of the chapter was great. And I'm so glad you don't mind the endless love scenes, lol, since I know you like seeing Castle and Beckett expressing their love and passion for each other as only they can as you put it! You're welcome for the first half of the chapter! It was nice to see you thought the second half was a wonderful continuation of their celebration for their anniversary. So pleased that you thought their gifts to each other were perfect since those can be hard to think up lol. It's why I go with the traditional or modern anniversary gifts, it helps, lol. And I was so happy to read you think I write them as a special couple with passion, lust and as you put it all encompassing love for each other. To me I feel the show didn't really show Castle and Beckett's relationship and marriage as it could have been, so it definitely inspires me to write them the way I do because of that. So definitely Caskett always! You're welcome for sharing the second half of the chapter!).

Thanks for the review, loved reading it and appreciate the time taken to write it out and send it my way!

A/N #2: The title of this chapter is a lyric from the song Hand in Hand written by Paul McCartney, from his album Egypt Station.

Let Me Give You My Promise

"Ready?" Castle asked his wife after they had stepped out of the manor.

"If you are," Beckett replied with a smile since he was looking at the sky.

"Yeah," Castle said slowly.

"Come on love," Beckett said in amusement. "You do have the umbrella."

"I do," Castle said before he looked down when she was taking his hand. He squeezed at hers before they started to walk down the road and they left the grounds before he said, "Is there any… plan for our trip?"

"Now that we're going?" Beckett asked him with another smile.

"Exactly," Castle said firmly before they were letting go of each other for a moment and stopping to turn to each other. "We're going to do that now?"

"I think I already know what you want to do first," Beckett responded.

"I'm not surprised," Castle said. "And then the store for you."

"Rick-" Beckett immediately said.

"Let me finish," Castle said gently, interrupting her as he placed his hand on her arm. "After that, me and then… whatever's left."

Beckett couldn't help laughing softly before she said, "Alright, but we are going to a store for you."

"Definitely," Castle said, nodding to her before he grabbed her hand and they continued to walk. Once they'd reached Adare, he led her to the children's clothing boutique and he told her, "I'm going to follow you."

"And you're going to do that very closely," Beckett said firmly.

"But-" Castle began to say before his wife was stopping him by squeezing his hand hard. "Okay," he then told her.

Reaching the store Beckett glanced at her husband when he opened the door for her, and she walked inside before he followed. She went to the baby section she'd seen already and started checking out the onesies for some time before she turned to Castle.

"What?" he asked in surprise.

"Tell me now if you've seen something," Beckett replied.

"Probably what you've seen already," Castle said swiftly.

Giving him a look that didn't last for long, Beckett took him to a table where she picked up a sweater that had a sailboat on it for their grandson.

"Ah, for Nero," Castle said.

"Rick," Beckett told him though she couldn't help smiling.

"What? He was never fiddling when Rome burned," Castle replied.

"Let our daughter and son in law choose their children's names," Beckett said. She reached up to him and covered his mouth with her fingertips saying, "Alexis only picked their nicknames she and the girls call them."

"True," Castle said against his wife's fingers. He wasn't surprised when she playfully pushed at his shoulder before he said, "I saw this sweater too and it's adorable."

Laughing softly for a moment Beckett said, "Good, now for our granddaughter."

"I think I know which it is," Castle said, following her to the sky-blue sweater with a black horse on it. "Great, for Agrippina," he told her, not surprised when she gave him a look. "I'm kidding I know Alexis wouldn't pick that name," he said.

"You're lucky I'm aware of that already," Beckett teased him.

Though he wanted to kiss her, Castle merely took her free hand and squeezed it before taking the other sweater. "Anything else here?" he asked.

"I want to look for Josie," Beckett replied. "For the fall." She wasn't surprised when her husband nodded, and they walked to the section of the store for toddlers. Looking through the options for girls she was startled when her husband was suddenly getting her attention.

"Did you need a dress for her this Christmas?" Castle asked her.

"I did," Beckett said, walking over to where he was looking. She took the one he'd found off the hanger and held it up saying, "I saw this."

"And you don't like it?" Castle asked since the dress was a cerulean blue shade.

"I do," Beckett said simply. She hesitated for a moment before she said, "Do you think your mom could replace the sash?"

"I was thinking about that too," Castle said, holding up the end of the sash that was studded with sequins. "To be honest I think she can," he told her.

"Okay," Beckett said, checking the size again. She let Castle take it before she headed to the register with him and let him buy their choices.

"What about the girls?" Castle asked when he had finished, and they were walking out the door.

"I had something else in mind," Beckett replied.

"Not clothes? I'm surprised," Castle commented. He smiled when his wife did at him and he said, "Seriously, what do you have in mind?"

"We'll go there next," Beckett said simply though the store she'd had in mind wasn't that far. She entered it first and told her husband, "They'll want these for winter."

"I see," Castle replied since he saw there were different items of knitwear. "Though this isn't really Julia's thing," he said when he realized that.

"I know, but there are some things here for her," Beckett replied.

"A… scarf?" Castle asked in confusion.

"No," Beckett replied. "I'll show you after we get Eliza's hat." She wasn't surprised when her husband nodded, and she led the way into the store before she picked up a bobble hat that was white with a shamrock on the brim. "Okay," she told Castle while she turned to him, and he took the hat. "I want to get her a newsboy cap."

"Her head grew?" Castle asked in surprise.

"She told me the one she had last winter won't fit," Beckett said.

"Right, is there anything we can do for that?" Castle asked her. When his wife looked at him in obvious confusion he said, "Growing that quickly."

Beckett rolled her eyes and said, "You can pick the hat if you want."

"I'll let you do that," Castle said. He was startled when his wife just stared at him and he said, "Then why don't we look together?"

"Alright," Beckett said, inclining her head slightly. They went to the section of newsboy caps she'd seen on a previous visit to the same store, and she looked at the different patterns before she realized her husband had found something.

"What do you think?" Castle asked, showing her the cap he had in his hand.

"She'll like it," Beckett said with a smile, seeing it was a grey and white plaid with thin lines of black and a deep green.

"Okay," Castle said. "Do you want to get anything?"

"No, let's keep going," Beckett replied, following him to the register. While he was paying, she looked outside and saw it appeared to have gotten darker which made her tell her husband when he looked at her, "We might have to rush back after lunch."

"Yeah," Castle said with a nod. He then took her hand, and they were leaving the store to head to the boutique she enjoyed shopping at in town. "Take as long as you want," he told her, opening the door for her.

"I'm going to say the same to you," Beckett replied. After they were inside, she wasn't surprised when her husband stopped her and was gently brushing his lips to hers. She responded swiftly before they parted and then turned their attention to the store where she left him at a chair near the front before she wandered around inside. She hadn't had anything in mind to buy before that day and taking a look at everything she decided she didn't really want to still.

"Nothing?" Castle asked her.

"No," Beckett said, startled when her husband suddenly stood up walking to a set of blouses. "You know I might take this the wrong way," she told him, laughing when he was freezing while reaching out to some.

"Are you serious?" Castle asked, looking at her in concern.

"No," Beckett replied firmly. "What did you like?"

"Nothing," Castle said, he wasn't surprised when she was frowning at him. "I thought you didn't see this set," he told her before she was responding with a smile.

"I did, come on love," Beckett replied, taking his hand and leading him back outside.

"I might not find anything either," Castle said.

Shaking her head Beckett said, "I don't care if you do or don't."

"Then why did we go to these two stores?" Castle asked.

"You haven't looked at yours yet," Beckett commented. She smiled when her husband made a face and she told him, "We're looking at the very least."

"Sure," Castle replied before they were walking again. Inside the store he left her at a chair before he walked around, making his way back to her. "Don't say it," he said when she began to open her mouth. "I did look at everything but didn't see a thing I wanted."

"I believe you," Beckett replied with a smile, standing up. She leaned into him, and they shared a brief kiss before they were stepping outside. "We're going to the bookstore, aren't we?" she asked him once they were walking down the sidewalk in the direction of it.

"There is a little more time until lunch," Castle replied. "And we can get books for all the kids."

"We agreed on that," Beckett said. "You didn't think I'd want to?"

"Just checking," Castle said, smiling when she nudged him lightly with her elbow before they were heading into the store, and she was talking to him firmly.

"Only one book for each kid Rick," Beckett was saying.

"Including the ones not born," Castle stated instead of asking.

"Yes," Beckett said simply since she knew it was rhetorical. They began walking around the bookstore together, starting with fiction and working their way to the children's books. "We're not having a lot of luck today my love," she said when they left the children's section and were standing together.

"No, but everyone else will be happy," Castle replied since they had found books for everyone in their family, including their parents and Louis.

"Though explain to Eliza we were happier with the trip," Beckett said jokingly.

"Oh no, she'll listen to you if you say that," Castle replied in the same tone. He took the books she was holding before they headed to the register and added the purchases to the bags they already had. Standing with her at the door when he had finished, he said, "It's slightly early for lunch."

"I know," Beckett said with a nod. "And yes, we can go," she added. "That way we have more time at the pool." She wasn't surprised when he hesitated for a moment before nodding and she said with a smile, "Let's go."

Following her out, Castle wasn't surprised when she was heading to the pub closest to where they would need to return to the manor. Inside he led them to a booth on their own before they were looking at a menu that was already on the table. "What're you feeling like?" he asked her.

"I already had fish last night," Beckett answered absently while she was reading the options.

"The burger sounds really good," Castle commented.

"I was looking at that too," Beckett replied, nodding. She set the menu aside and said, "I think we're getting that." Seeing the way her husband was looking at her she smiled and said, "Really?"

"You don't usually order them," Castle pointed out to her.

"So should I change my mind?" Beckett replied.

"No, the black stuff?" Castle asked. He wasn't surprised when she nodded her head, and he made a quick gesture to the waitress before he was ordering for them both.

When they were alone again Beckett said, "There isn't anything else you want to do back at the manor?"

"No but it sounds like you have something in mind," Castle replied with a smile.

"I do," Beckett said. "And I'd like to look at the boutique to find some lotion for Alexis… or something like that," she began to say. "I'd need to see what they have."

"I'm fine with that," Castle said. He thanked their waitress as she was setting down pint glasses in front of them and when she was gone again, he told his wife, "Again, you got-"

"So you can tell the girls," Beckett said, grabbing his hand and interrupting him.

Making a brief face, Castle then told her, "You know we worry out of love."

"I'm aware, but you don't need to," Beckett said. "And I'll remind you that I said I was starving earlier."

Glancing at some people walking by them to tables, Castle said, "Good point, and I'm in agreement." He picked up his pint and said, "Sláinte?"

"You have to ask me?" Beckett asked laughingly.

"Yes," Castle replied simply.

"Sláinte," Beckett said through her laughter before they tapped their glasses together.

After they'd taken some sips, Castle set his glass back down and said, "I wish we could call them right now."

Shaking her head Beckett said, "I do too, but I they're going to the beach so…"

"I find it suspicious," Castle said.

"Don't," Beckett replied wryly. "Mary did say there are some pop up tournaments… sort of."

"True," Castle said, since the surfing competition wasn't official and was more for fun. "Though it is good practice for them."

"You're hoping they make it don't you?" Beckett asked.

"Not just for us to get seats to watch," Castle said. "But for them, if they won something at home."

"Don't mention that to them if they make it," Beckett replied quickly. She wasn't surprised when her husband looked at her, obviously a little perplexed, and she said, "They'll be nervous enough," before he was responding.

"Oh I know, I'm just saying it'd be awesome if they won a medal, even bronze," Castle said.

"And they think the same though they're not going to expect anything going into the qualifying and if they actually make it to the games," Beckett replied easily before the waitress was returning with their food.

"Sometimes the twin thing you two have is annoying," Castle told his wife teasingly when they were alone again.

Shaking her head Beckett said, "It's not a twin thing, I just talk to her."

"Is that a dig at me?" Castle asked.

"No," Beckett replied, smiling at him while she was holding the knife she'd used to cut her burger.

"Okay," Castle said swiftly, turning to his meal.

After they'd eaten for a little, Beckett said, "It is good."

"It is," Castle said in swift agreement.

"You're going to need to plan that summer's vacation," Beckett said.

"I was just thinking that," Castle replied. "Though we have six years for it luckily."

"You have something in mind," Beckett commented.

"I was thinking maybe we should take a cruise," Castle said. He hesitated and then told her, "If we enjoy the Disney one next year."

"I think the girls will," Beckett replied.

Nodding, Castle went back to his food, though he suggested different places to during that summer until they finished. "I guess I should ask when they'd need to go," he said while they were waiting for his card to come back. "After the opening ceremony."

"When I asked them, they said if they were qualified to compete," Beckett began with. "They weren't going to stay at the Olympic Village."

"They can do that?" Castle asked.

"They can," Beckett replied. "They asked. But they will want to stay at home since they plan on watching the water at Santa Monica and Venice."

"If they qualify," Castle said, not surprised when his wife nodded in agreement. He was signing for their bill before they were leaving the booth, grabbing their bags that had been on the other side of the table. He looked at the sidewalk first before glancing at the sky. "We might have to run at some point," he told her.

"Your knee?" Beckett asked in concern.

"It's fine," Castle answered, not surprised when his wife looked at him with a frown. "It is."

"Okay, but we're not running," Beckett said before they were stepping outside. She wasn't surprised to feel it was colder than when they'd arrived at the village and she said, "You might be right."

"Walk quickly?" Castle asked her. When she nodded, he took her hand before they made their way out of the town. He wasn't surprised when they had the manor in sight that he felt something hit his head.

"Don't run," Beckett told her husband firmly, having felt the same drops. "We're not as young as we were on that hike."

"I'm aware," Caste said in mock annoyance while he was opening the umbrella after he'd handed her the bags he'd held.

"Could you do me a favor once we're back?" Beckett asked her husband before he was rocking against her at a sudden gust of wind.

"I guess this is a storm," Castle said hurriedly. "And of course, just let me know what it is," he told her before she was responding.

"Will you take everything upstairs?" Beckett asked. "I'm not buying anything for us," she said in a rush when his eyebrows went up in surprise. "I'm going to be quick."

"Okay," Castle said slowly.

"I'm serious," Beckett told him simply.

Since they'd reached the manor by then, Castle could only nod which he did once before they went up to the door. When he was covered and Beckett had stepped inside, he shook the umbrella before handing it to the employee that had walked into the entrance. Thanking the woman he went to his wife, seeing she was looking at the colonnade and asked, "Did you want to walk through that?"

"I was going to suggest it," Beckett replied. "But not right now."

"Yeah," Castle said before they turned back to the entrance and headed to the nearest staircase.

"I'll be quick," Beckett told her husband.

"I know, have fun," Castle said.

Shaking her head, Beckett was smiling when she started to walk where the boutique was, going rapidly so she could head up to their stateroom for their visit to the pool.

"I still feel like I should arrange something for you at the spa."

"I told you no," Beckett said in amusement while she and her husband walked into the pool room. "We only come here for one thing."

"And it looks like they changed it," Castle commented while they were looking around. When he turned back to his wife, he was startled to find she had moved to one of the lounge chairs. "Hopefully it stays empty," he told her, handing her the bag they'd brought with them.

"They'll probably be at the spa," Beckett teased him, tossing him his towel.

Making a face at her Castle said, "We're playing?"

"You can if you want to, I'm just going to do some laps," Beckett replied.

"Wait," Castle said. "Are we only doing this for a short amount of time to be able to tell the girls we swam?" he asked her in a rush. When his wife's response was to smile before pulling off her sundress, he breathed out a little roughly before he was getting his shirt off. "You're telling them how much time we spend here," he told her.

"I know," Beckett replied easily before she turned her attention to taking off her sandals and walking around to the steps.

"They changed the pool too," Castle said, following her.

"I noticed," Beckett replied since getting into the pool was different. She slipped into the water and began to swim to the other end, seeing her husband out of the corner of her eye shortly after. Once she was holding onto the other side of the pool she turned and said, "Don't think about it."

"We are the only ones here," Castle said since he'd been looking at the sauna that had been added to the room before he turned to her when she began to speak.

"I don't want to just sit and sweat," Beckett replied. She smirked at her husband when he was staring at her and she slipped into the water, swimming back to the other end. That started her and her husband making laps back and forth repeatedly until she had counted eight in all, and she went to the steps.

"That's enough? Because I could go for a little longer," Castle said rapidly.

"Go ahead," Beckett replied. "I'll watch."

Though he wanted to comment, Castle turned his attention to the water and swam for a little more before he was getting out. "Sorry," he told her. "But thanks for the towel," he told her since she'd handed him his towel.

"Why are you apologizing?" Beckett asked in obvious confusion, looking on while he was drying himself off.

"I needed to… work something out," Castle said, hoping she would understand. When he turned to walk away, he was startled when his wife was grabbing him by his arm, and he turned back to her.

"Sit with me for a little," Beckett replied.

Castle was about to answer that when he heard someone walking inside and his wife motioned to the worker who'd entered. "A snack?" he asked, seeing the man was carrying a tray with two tiny cups.

"Espresso," Beckett said. "No snack since I'm aware you're going to beg for dessert later."

"I won't need to beg," Castle said firmly before he took one of the tiny cups. "Though do we need to sit?"

"I said a little," Beckett reminded him. When he nodded, they sat together on the side of the chair closest to the windows. She wasn't surprised to find the river close to them was running a little faster and she said, "We'll leave once we're done."

"I was hoping," Castle said, squeezing her hand firmly before he sipped at the coffee. "Kate," he then said.

"Yes?" Beckett asked, glancing at him.

"I needed to swim because-" Castle started to say slowly.

"Oh, don't worry," Beckett said. "Though I hope you didn't wear yourself out."

"I didn't," Castle told her firmly. "I just didn't want to…"

"What if I want you to," Beckett said.

"You don't know how fast I could go," Castle said.

Patting his knee firmly, Beckett gently tugged on the leg of his shorts and then informed him, "We'll discuss that in a little. Hopefully you're ready."

"I am," Castle said since he'd long since finished his espresso.

"Good," Beckett replied simply before they were getting their things and leaving once his shirt was back on.

Though they were only on the second floor, Castle felt as if it'd taken them double the time it should have, though Beckett seemed to be fine once they were entering their stateroom. "Kate, I really need to know," he started to say after he'd locked the door. "Are you alright?"

Smiling Beckett said, "You're asking if I feel the same as you?"

"Of course," Castle said.

"Come here," Beckett said, reaching out to him. She had expected him to take her hand but was startled when he was grabbing her and pulling her to him. "Rick-" she started to say before he was kissing her hard. She responded as eagerly as she could until they were parting hard and panting before he was speaking first.

"You want me to check," Castle told her. When she nodded, he kissed her again, but was gentler that time before he was leading her to the bed. Though he needed to, he hesitated a little before he was carefully pulling down the covers until he was standing again. His wife was wrapping her arms around him, and he kissed her temple saying, "Now?"

"We don't have that much time," Beckett replied.

Nodding, Castle took her lips again, doing so deeply before he was tightening his hold on her before she was ending the kiss to his surprise. He was about to comment on that when he stopped himself and let go of her so he could pull off her sundress.

"I hope you realize something," Beckett said when her husband had tossed the fabric aside.

"I just did," Castle replied. "I don't want the bed to smell like chlorine either."

"I'm not surprised," Beckett said in obvious amusement before they were walking together into the bathroom. She waited while he was getting towels for them and she said, "We'll have to do this again before dinner."

Pausing, since he realized she was right, Castle asked, "Would you want to take a bath now?"

Shaking her head with a smile, Beckett said, "It takes too long, the same for later."

"Tomorrow?" Castle immediately asked.

"Yes," Beckett replied before she was reaching for her husband's shirt. She began unbuttoning it quickly and pushing it off his shoulders before he took care of it himself. After he had removed his trunks, she turned away from him to allow him to tug on the tie of her bikini top. She took it off herself before he was caressing her back and she turned back around telling him, "I hope you weren't planning on anything."

"Not now," Castle replied, reaching for her bikini bottoms and tugging them down firmly. "Though you owe me something."

"Oh really?" Beckett asked, taking care of the fabric herself and pushing it aside.

"Let me wash your hair before dinner," Castle said.

"And brush it," Beckett stated.

"Yes, let me watch you dress," Castle said, almost in a rush.

Reaching up to him, Beckett cupped her husband's cheek in her hand, watching him lean into her hold and kiss her palm. "Let's start love," she said before they were heading into the shower stall.

"We're just rinsing off though," Castle stated.

"Sure," Beckett said, smiling when her husband was giving her a look. She took his kiss when he leaned into her, and they were doing so sensuously. She couldn't help moaning in reaction to that before she paused and was pulling away from him. "Rick?" she said to get his attention.

"Yeah?" Castle asked, having been kissing at the top of her right shoulder.

"The water?" Beckett answered with her own question. She smiled when her husband visibly jumped and hurried to turn it on before he was returning to her. "You said we're just rinsing off," she reminded him, placing her hand to his chest. She watched him pursing his lips briefly before he was grabbing her and holding her in front of him as he spoke.

"Are we going underneath all the way?" Castle asked her, kissing the side of her head.

"Yes," Beckett said simply before he was walking her under the water. He let her go at that point and they were taking turns to let the water rinse off their bodies before her husband turned it off. "Let me dry off my hair," she told him.

"I would say you're cruel," Castle replied jokingly. "But I need to do the same." He stepped out first and then told her, "We're going to need a much longer shower later."

"I did say you could wash my hair already," Beckett told him.

"Just making sure," Castle replied, not surprised when his wife rolled her eyes before they were taking turns drying each other off and doing their best to dry their hair. Once they were finished, he picked her up, carrying her back out to the bed and he laid her down on it before he said, "Now?"

"Now," Beckett replied, reaching for her husband and pulling him to her. They were kissing deeply until they needed to breathe, and she bit lightly at her swollen lower lip at the same time her husband was kissing around her neck. She tilted her head back slightly before he was descending to the hollow of her throat and he nipped at it gently. "Hmm, love don't take too long," she told him.

Raising his head, Castle leaned into her to brush his lips to hers lightly before he said, "You know what I'd like to do."

"I have an idea," Beckett said in response, not surprised when he paused.

"Seriously," Castle stated. When his wife nodded, he said, "You don't know what it is."

"I said I have an idea," Beckett said firmly. "Though I thought of something myself," she added. She watched him nodding before telling him, "Get your glasses on Rick."

"Right," Castle replied before he was moving to the nightstand where he'd left his glasses while they'd been at the pool. When he had them back on, he looked at his wife and said, "Tell me what you want to do." Squeezing her arm gently when she opened her mouth to speak, he explained, "I want to know; I'm not going to stop you."

"Alright," Beckett said. "But… I think I changed my mind. I was going to say we pleasure ourselves, but why don't we do it for each other."

"Am I helping you after to clean up?" Castle asked.

"You enjoy it as much as I do," Beckett replied easily and with a smile on her face. She was getting some pillows piled up before she was laying back and she told him, "Is that good for you though?" startled when she realized he was looking at her breasts.

Not realizing he hadn't answered, Castle leaned down to her and began pressing his lips to her mounds. He heard her gasping in pleasure above him and he didn't stop, circling her nipples until he was parting his lips to take the right into his mouth. Suckling delicately at her at first, he was doing so a little harder until he was doing the same for the other. Rubbing his tongue at both her nipples while he had them in his mouth, he was moving back and looking down her body.

"You can," Beckett said. She smiled when her husband looked up at her in surprise and she said, "If I can do the same for you."

"Yes," Castle breathed out huskily before he leaned down to her. He kissed her on the lips first, doing so roughly before he moved down to her breasts and kissed them briefly. He moved to her mound, kissing around the smooth skin he went lower to her clit and flicked his tongue to it a few times, hearing her crying out in joy above him.

"Love… please, please start," Beckett couldn't help moaning to him when his tongue soon slipped inside of her slightly.

Castle pressed a firm kiss to her sex, feeling how moist she already was immediately. Pulling away he moved quickly after to raise himself above her before he said, "You've wanted me."

"Of course," Beckett said before she looked down in between them pointedly. She couldn't help smiling when he immediately moved off her and was laying on her side of the bed though there was no pillow there. "Come here," she told him, trying not to laugh. She wasn't surprised when he hurried to move over to her, and she waited for him to lay down on his back before she was gently brushing her lips to his. She pulled away shortly after and proceeded to kiss her way around his chest before she reached his erection. She picked it up carefully and leaned down, kissing the tip of him lightly before she lowered her mouth over him. She used her tongue to gently rub at the tip before she was slowly pulling away. She gasped and then began to laugh when her husband flipped her onto her back and told him, "Do you know what you want?"

"Oh no, are we deciding separately?" Castle asked her, hovering above her again.

"No," Beckett replied before she reached up and pressed on her husband's back so he could lean down. Once he was close enough, she murmured into his ear, not surprised when he was hurrying to nod.

"Though that does mean separately," Castle replied, a little startled when his wife was biting at her lower lip hard. "Do I want to ask what you just thought?" he asked her after doing his best not to shudder hard in response at the look in her eyes.

"After," Beckett replied with a smile before she pulled him to her so they could kiss before he was pulling away. "You-" she started to say before he was interrupting.

"Weren't we supposed to pleasure each other?" Castle asked her.

"I'm surprised you still want to," Beckett replied.

"And do you?" Castle asked rapidly, jerking against her suddenly after she'd curled her hand around his length. He reached down to her sex, gently rubbing her clit while she began to stroke her hand up and down on him. "I… was trying to work out… a little of this," he told her at the constant pleasure going through him.

"I gave up," Beckett replied breathily. She wasn't surprised when her husband was looking at her with widened eyes and said, "Just don't stop Rick."

Shaking his head, since he couldn't trust himself to speak, Castle moved his fingers down to her entrance where he slipped his first two inside her. Hearing her crying out and arching her back, he reached up with his thumb to stimulate her clit the best he could. He soon realized his wife was moving with him, and he watched her doing so before it came to him, he was doing the same thing against her hand. "Kate," he said a little warningly.

"I know," Beckett sighed in pleasure when her husband's fingers were soon matching the speed her hand was moving on him. It was then she realized why he'd spoken in the tone he had but she didn't want to stop the rising pleasure in her. She tried to warn him, but she couldn't speak, only gasping his name when everything stopped in her for a moment and then she was crying out to him while she orgasmed.

Though his wife had let go of him, Castle couldn't really complain since he was enjoying watching her before he realized he could move. He literally threw himself down on her, burying his face into her sex and licking and sucking at her while she was moaning above him. The erotic tinge to her voice had him pressing down into the mattress until she was still, and he was slowly pulling away before he moved to prop himself above her. "I don't usually ask love but… please make me come," he begged her after he'd brushed his lips to hers to get her attention.

Smiling, Beckett cupped his cheek before she told him, "I'm in control," not surprised when he nodded before he was speaking in a rush.

"You are," Castle said before she was holding him again. He was a little startled when she was only doing that, and he was about to ask her to start when she finally began moving it. He breathed out hard before he was kissing her, not surprised when she was responding earnestly. He slipped his tongue into her mouth shortly after but had to end the kiss when he couldn't resist the stimulation she was providing him. "Kate," he was able to warn her a little before his climax struck him hard.

With one arm wrapped around her husband's shoulders, Beckett watched him thrusting into her hand though she was directing at the same time. Once he had stopped moving, she watched him above her breathing roughly before she asked, "Okay?"

"Yeah, I just… needed a second," Castle replied, relieved he could speak.

"So you're recovered," Beckett stated instead of asking. She watched him shuddering visibly and said, "I do want you to help me."

"Help you or just do it for you?" Castle asked. When his wife was smiling at him, he groaned briefly before he moved to lay on his side and proceeded to swipe his fingers over her stomach where she had led him. While she was sucking at his fingertips, he found himself throbbing harder than he had in the aftermath of his pleasure and once he had finished, he was reaching for her and kissing her as hard as he could before she was trying to pull him onto her. "I decided on something else," he told her when he stopped her.

"Oh really?" Beckett asked in amusement though she was moving at his guidance. Straddling his lap she told him, "That does mean I'm directing this."

"I wouldn't worry," Castle said, "You mentioned a few times we don't have much left until the reservation."

"You've said too," Beckett replied.

"So we're in agreement," Castle said, rubbing his hands up and down her back. "We're fucking until we take that second shower?"

"Of course," Beckett said, letting him pull her to him for a kiss before she would begin bouncing on him to start fitting as many bouts of intimacy as they could into that afternoon.

"I'm surprised at how much lightning there's been," Castle said.

Beckett smiled and said, "You are tired."

"I am, but just for the moment," Castle replied, holding her a little tighter against him. It was nearly time for them to get ready for their dinner and they'd been making love close to constantly before they found they were exhausted and getting some rest. They were laying on their backs and he held her to him with his left arm, his wife reaching up to hold that hand while their right were entwined tightly on her hip. He looked at her when she squeezed tightly at his right hand before there was a brief rumble of thunder and she was laughing before she spoke.

"I was going to say that reminds me I never thought you were a cuddler," Beckett teased him.

"I wasn't," Castle replied swiftly. "Well… not to the degree I am with you," he said firmly.

Smiling, Beckett let go of his hands and turned to him so she could wrap her arms around him saying, "You don't really need to kiss my ass."

"I already did that," Castle said firmly, reaching behind her and firmly cupping her ass which he had kissed in between their bouts at one point. "And while I'd love to do that again I'm just telling it like it is," he finished with.

Laughing briefly, Beckett moved to kiss his cheek before she told him, "Alright, I guess it's just experience."

"Either that or it's our subconscious recalling our past lives," Castle told her.

"Maybe," Beckett said with a smile before his hand was sliding onto her hip. "You did have to keep me calm during thunder."

"And that doesn't make you mad?" Castle inquired, reaching up and gently caressing her hair.

"No," Beckett replied easily. "Neither of us is the same," she then told him with a smile. "You weren't all that confident either."

Pretending to frown, Castle then said to his wife's laughter, "Okay, you might be right but quick question; you're not uncomfortable?"

"A little sore," Beckett answered with a smile since she was aware already of what he was really wondering. "And look at the time," she said before he was sighing.

"And I don't really want to move," Castle told her.

"I don't either," Beckett said, pressing a few kisses to his jaw. "But we can still hold each other."

"Cuddle," Castle said immediately.

Laughing briefly Beckett shared a kiss with him and then said, "So we'll go?"

"Yeah," Castle said swiftly before he was letting her go reluctantly. He followed her into the bathroom before he took off his glasses and got more towels.

"Are we okay for now?" Beckett asked while she was watching him.

"Surprisingly yes," Castle said with a smile before he walked over to her. He kissed her lightly on the lips before he pulled her after him into the shower for a second time. He paused when he was about to turn on the water, looking to make sure their things were inside before he turned to his wife.

"I'm ready," Beckett said in amusement since she had been watching him again. After he'd turned on the water she walked up to it, standing under the showerhead above them before she felt her husband running his hands over her back.

"I can't help it love," Castle told her when she slightly opened her eyes.

"I'm not surprised," Beckett replied, smiling. She stepped towards him and wiped away what water she could before telling her husband, "But if you wanted something that would be nice." She then smiled as he began washing her hair, doing so thoroughly before she did the same for him when he'd finished, and they washed each other as well.

"Wait, are we going to the bath? You said you were sore," Castle reminded her.

"We can move to there," Beckett said simply before her husband was speaking quickly while he ducked under the water.

"Soon," Castle replied.

"Should I fill the tub?" Beckett asked her husband, watching him with a smile on her face.

"What?" Castle asked after he'd moved out from the water and wiped his face dry.

"Nothing," Beckett replied with a smile before she went to the water and turned it off. She then slipped out of the stall and headed to the vanity where she took the top towel, her husband standing in the doorway. "I hope you don't mind," she told him.

"Not really, I'm enjoying watching," Castle replied swiftly.

"Pervert," Beckett said wryly, reaching for the other towel and tossing it over to him. Once she was dry, she went to the tub and prepared the water, filling it before she turned to Castle when he walked up to her. "You first," she told him with a smile.

"No pleasuring?" Castle asked though he was tossing aside his towel.

"Not this time," Beckett said. "We were talking about cuddling," she told him teasingly, removing her towel and throwing it towards his. After her husband was in the water, she followed him and leaned back against him while he wrapped his arms around her. Since they were facing the windows, she saw another flash and told him, "You're enjoying this aren't you?"

Laughing, Castle told her, "Of course I am. Don't tell me you aren't."

"I am," Beckett said simply, smiling at him. She then faced forward again and said, "I don't think we're going to have the chance to walk around after dinner."

"Probably not," Castle said, shaking his head. "But we could walk around the manor… the colonnade."

"I was thinking that, but the ground will be wet," Beckett pointed out to him.

"Are your shoes that slippery?" Castle asked.

"They will be," Beckett said.

"Maybe I could help you," Castle suggested.

"We'll see," Beckett replied in amusement before they were looking outside again. After they'd been quiet for a while she said, "We need to get out."

"We should… I guess," Castle told her.

Laughing briefly, Beckett allowed him to step out before she stood and she said, "I'm getting ready on my own."

"Do you need to?" Castle asked.

About to tell him yes, Beckett hesitated before she said, "I remember what we talked about earlier, but if you're just standing there watching me-"

"Oh, don't worry," Castle interrupted her. "I'll let you watch me." He then hesitated and said, "Do you need to use one of your…"

"Yes," Beckett replied before her husband was leaning over to her and kissing her. She responded to him before they parted and she said, "And yes you can help me."

"I didn't want to ask," Castle said.

Rolling her eyes, though she was smiling at the same time, Beckett told him, "I realized and I'm going to do that as soon as I dry my hair," watching him drying her off before she was returning the favor while he spoke.

"You're not embarrassed, are you?" Castle asked.

"No, but it's not the prettiest thing," Beckett replied, looking pointedly at him.

"It isn't but that's okay," Castle said. "Ow," he said laughingly when she pushed him playfully.

"I know what you're thinking already," Beckett told him firmly.

"How can you?" Castle asked her, following her out into the bedroom. He waited for her by the bed and said, "I can't help?" when she was walking back to him.

"If you really want to," Beckett replied after she'd studied him for a moment. When her husband nodded, she smiled and then said, "Alright, but I do know you want to repeat the process."

"I'm a pervert, remember?" Castle asked her. He smiled when she gave him a look, though she was responding to the kiss he was giving her. Keeping it short, he was soon letting her go and following her on the bed. He didn't say anything at first before she was finishing and said, "Too weird?"

"No, it's easier to do it myself," Beckett said. "And you do want to fill me again."

"I really do," Castle replied firmly. "You're good?" he asked her when she was getting up.

"I am," Beckett replied. "And you'll need to do better after dinner."

"Of course," Castle said a little absently before he froze. "Wait, better?"

"There wasn't that much," Beckett said, walking back to him. "Am I first?" she then asked him.

"That's up to you," Castle answered. He wasn't surprised when she nodded and turned to go back into the bathroom, which made him race after her since he knew she was going to brush her hair first. "Let me watch," he told her.

"If I didn't want you to, I could have closed the door in your face," Beckett said firmly before she was brushing her hair carefully. After it was finished, she pulled it up into a bun and once she was sure it was set started to walk to the door when her husband was stopping her.

"What would you like me to get?" Castle asked.

"Nothing, I'll get it," Beckett said firmly before she walked into the bathroom. She moved to get her lingerie and told her husband, "You knew already."

"I did," Castle said with a smile and a nod. "And while I'm disappointed… bra?"

"Not planning on getting one," Beckett replied easily, taking her clothes back to the bed. "Or do you want me to?"

"No, that's fine," Castle said swiftly. "Also, it's not my decision."

"I'm not surprised," Beckett replied before she turned to her clothes and began getting dressed. She allowed her husband to help her with the zipper and she said, "I have to do something for you."

"I figured," Castle said before he was going to the armoire to get his clothes. "But what?"

"Do you really need to ask?" Beckett replied with a smile.

"No, just making conversation," Castle said simply. He wasn't surprised when she rolled her eyes before he began dressing, allowing her to button his shirt and assist him tucking it into his trousers. While she was getting his tie set for him, he said, "I didn't have much to help you with."

"It was enough," Beckett said, making sure the tie was set before she got his blazer and held it for him. Straightening the lapels once he had turned back to her, she said, "What if you brought an umbrella?"

"I could," Castle said. "But you're going to freeze," he added swiftly, not surprised when she was smiling at him before she answered.
