"You do have your coat," Beckett reminded him.

"I'm so glad I remembered," Castle said thoughtfully.

"And if we do go walk and I wear it, it's going to smell like my per-" Beckett started to say before her husband was kissing her firmly. She was startled for a moment before she began to respond, wrapping her arms around him tightly until they needed to catch their breath. She smiled and said, "Then you better get it."

"Once we go," Castle said. "Are you going to put on your makeup?"

"Yes," Beckett said with a mock suffering sigh though she was taking his kiss. She wasn't surprised when it was swift, and she led him back into the bathroom where he watched her though she didn't take much time. "Now you're ready," she told him.

"I think… yes, I am," Castle started to say before she looked at him pointedly. He followed her again, that time through the door that went into the entry, and he was getting his coat from the closet. "Shouldn't you take something?" he asked her while he was draping it over his coat. When she merely raised her eyebrow at him, he realized she'd grabbed her silk shawl. "Kate-" he started to say when she was taking his hand and squeezing it tightly to stop him.

"We'll discuss that when we're back in here," Beckett said. "You won't be cold without your coat outside?"

"I'll be fine," Castle said before they were leaving. As they were heading down to the first floor, he wanted to joke about them not saying a word when his wife did first.

"I hope you realize we've reached that point," Beckett teased him.

"Eight years would do that… I guess," Castle said, not surprised when she laughed.

"You're always so confident," Beckett replied before they were reaching the restaurant. She wasn't surprised when they were led through it to the steps down to the table her husband requested. It was for two and had a view towards the golf course to their left and the gardens in front of them. "How long ago did you get this?" she asked him.

"A while ago," Castle replied before they were looking at the menu.

"I can see you looking at me," Beckett said in amusement after they'd regarded them for a little.

"Just wondering what you're picking," Castle said.

"I think the chicken," Beckett said. "You?"

"My turn for fish," Castle said simply before they were ordering. "Kind of slow in here tonight," he said, looking at the table for four next to them.

"That worked out for us," Beckett told him since it was empty.

"It did… unless someone's coming in later," Castle replied.

"You didn't reserve the table just so we'd be alone here?" Beckett asked him with a smile.

"No," Castle said simply before he took her hand and held it firmly. "Though next year…"

Laughing, Beckett shook her head and then told him, "Don't love. We'll be alone later."

"Outside too," Castle replied before they looked ahead of them. He then brought her hand up to his lips and kissed the back of it lovingly before he told her, "Two more years."

"I thought that too," Beckett replied. She turned to her husband at the same time he was doing so to her and said, "You too."

"Definitely," Castle said firmly before they paused when their wine was brought out to them. "To those two years," he told Beckett once they were alone and holding their glasses. "Though I should say it's one day less."

"Isn't 2024 a leap year?" Beckett asked.

"Damn," Castle said, not surprised when his wife was laughing in response. "Okay, either way we're closer," he said. "And also, to us. Sláinte," he told his wife firmly before they were tapping their glasses together once she'd said the same to him.

"Here comes the appetizer," Beckett said stopping her husband when he leaned into her after they'd sipped at their wine. She smiled at him when he cursed briefly before they turned their attention to the bread placed in front of them. She picked up a piece of barmbrack and put a little butter on it before handing it to her husband. "You knew?" she asked him since he hadn't moved to get his own piece.

"I had an idea," Castle replied. He ate and then said, "Is it weird I suddenly thought of the girls?"

"No," Beckett said simply, biting into her own piece of bread. She smiled at him and said, "What made you think of them?"

"The bread, you know they love it," Castle said.

"And can make it," Beckett said, since she had shown both Julia, Eliza and him how to do it. "Grandma was… a little annoyed I'd ask for it outside of Halloween."

"But you said she was kidding," Castle said hurriedly.

"She was, she liked to do that," Beckett said.

"Ah, that's definitely where you got your sense of humor," Castle told her, smiling when she playfully pushed his shoulder. "But I am glad you have the recipe."

"The girls are too," Beckett said before they were silent for a little, eating their bread. Eventually she was about to ask her husband if he wanted another piece when he was talking a little absently to her surprise.

"Do you think we should go back into town?" Castle asked.

"Town?" Beckett asked in confusion.

"Sorry," Castle said, looking at her. "I was thinking of looking at the toy store."

"For the twins?" Beckett asked him.

"And Josie," Castle replied.

Smiling Beckett said, "We might be able to find something for Eliza… even Julia."

"I'm not sure," Castle said slowly.

"I'll look," Beckett assured him before she paused. "Does that mean we're going back tomorrow?"

"We could, unless you want to go out and do something," Castle told her.

Beckett was about to respond before their food arrived and she waited until they were alone again to say, "We've done a lot here already. And unless it's pouring then let's go back."

Castle nodded before they began eating until he eventually said, "What do you think about going to another store?"

"If it's the boutique for me then no," Beckett replied firmly.

"Not that," Castle said. "That antique store."

Frowning for a moment, Beckett said, "Why?"

"When we were walking across the street from it, I noticed a violin in the window," Castle said.

"For Alexis?" Beckett asked.

"It's a Peregrine," Castle said. He wasn't surprised when his wife looked perplexed again and he said, "Sorry, it's not that well known but they're Irish."

Nodding, Beckett said, "Does she know the name?"

"Extremely well," Castle replied. "And she's always wanted one."

Smiling, Beckett squeezed his hand before she said, "Then we'll go, after the toy store."

"Do you think you can bring your bag?" Castle asked.

"I was already planning on it," Beckett replied. "When you said she's always wanted one." She wasn't surprised when her husband nodded before she was cutting some of her chicken and putting it on his plate. "I almost forgot," she told him with a smile.

"Me too," Castle replied, giving her some of his monk fish. "But I'd like to give it to her for Christmas."

"I had a feeling," Beckett said. She then said with a smile, "I hope the twins won't mind her playing."

"I thought that too," Castle said with a brief nod before he smiled. "And I'm sure they won't mind."

"We'll find out," Beckett said before they were looking outside at the same time.

"You want everything to be the same in two years?" Castle said, turning to her and seeing her still staring at the gardens.

"I do," Beckett replied, squeezing his hand firmly before he was leaning into her. They were sharing a brief kiss before she said, "Finish your dinner love."

"You too," Castle said before picking up his fork again. "The weather looks like it's holding."

"You're still getting an umbrella," Beckett reminded him. She wasn't surprised when he was nodding and she then said, "But that makes me wonder if you really want to go."

"I do," Castle said swiftly before glancing down the hall past the alcove they were in. He then said to his wife in Irish, "We didn't move from our room all day yesterday, or for at least four hours this afternoon. I want to prove to you it's not the only thing I'm after."

"I know already," Beckett said reassuringly. "And while I appreciate you wanting to make this trip about everything other than sex…"

Castle was startled when his wife was trailing off and he watched her shift slightly which led him to say, "You're-" before she was interrupting him.

"Ba mhaith liom tú nuair a bhíonn muid ar ais inár seomra," Beckett said firmly, telling him 'I want you when we're back in our room.'

Freezing for a moment, Castle turned to her before he said, "Aontaím leat go hiomlán. Tá tú ag teastáil uaim Kate," which meant 'I agree with you completely. I need you, Kate.'

Smiling, Beckett took his hand and tugged him to her before they were kissing gently. They kept it quick before they were looking at the menu he'd picked up from the other side of the table.

"I'm going to let you pick," Castle said after he'd looked at the options.

"The lemon tart sounds good," Beckett replied.

"Great," Castle said, flagging down the waiter. He held his wife's hand while he ordered before they were alone again and he told her, "I get to have some."

"Yes," Beckett replied, rolling her eyes. "Though does my picking it mean you're in charge tonight?"

Looking at her with widened eyes, since she had spoken in English, Castle took a moment before he responded telling her, "No, I-"

Covering her husband's mouth with her hand, Beckett told him, "I'm insisting."

"We'll talk about it when we're back in the room," Castle said, surprised he'd been able to speak.

"Of course," Beckett replied before she reached in between them and squeezed firmly at the inside of his thigh.

Exhaling hard, Castle was reaching for her hand before he said, "You're going to-"

"It's dark," Beckett said simply, interrupting him.

"And you're leaning over… a lot," Castle said since their chairs took up one side each of the four sides the table had.

"Not anymore," Beckett replied easily before he was raising her hand to his lips and kissing the back of it. She wanted to tease him but had to stop herself when their dessert was being set in between them. "You want to take a picture," she said, teasing her husband then.

"I have to," Castle said. "Eliza's going to make sure we had some."

"And you told her you'd make sure we would," Beckett said simply. When her husband busied himself with his phone, she rolled her eyes before she looked at the plate with the lemon tart made with a dome of the curd on top, crème fraiche on the top of the dome and some macerated berries alongside the dessert.

"Okay," Castle said with a nod. "I hope you'll split it because I can't stand how good this looks."

Beckett couldn't help rolling her eyes again and she said, "I'll take care of it, before he was leaning into her, making her pause suddenly while he was whispering into her ear.

"I was talking about you at the end," Castle told her.

"You wouldn't want this to go?" Beckett asked him, a little startled when he shook his head before he was answering her.

"Tá smaointe eile agam," Castle explained.

Biting her lower lip, since he'd told her the phrase 'I have other ideas,' Beckett took a moment to answer before she nodded and said, "Ní féidir liom fanacht," telling him she couldn't wait.

Squeezing her hand, Castle watched her cutting off a piece from the dome and was about to get his fork when she was slipping it into his mouth. He looked at her in surprise before she was getting some for herself and he ate as quickly as he could before he said, "Thank you."

Nodding once Beckett said, "We can finish a little faster this way."

"Good point," Castle said before he reached for her hand and took the fork. He held her right hand with his left and with the other he was breaking off some of the dome and getting a raspberry, feeding her. He didn't let her take back the fork, feeding both of them until they were finished. He quickly charged the meal to their room when the waiter returned, giving the man a decent tip before they were leaving. Leading his wife to the entry, he had an umbrella before they were stepping outside. "Here love," he told her.

Smiling, Beckett took off her shawl before she turned to slip her arms into the sleeves of his coat. Once she had it buttoned, she let him take the shawl before she said, "We got lucky."

"Extremely," Castle replied since it wasn't raining at that moment. "Though it will be nice to warm up back in the room."

"Are you okay?" Beckett asked her husband with a frown.

"That's not the kind of warming up I'm talking about," Castle replied firmly. He wasn't surprised when his wife nodded before they were starting to walk towards the river. "Should we try for the bridge?" he asked her.

"Yes," Beckett said firmly before they were walking to it over the river. She watched the water when they were close and wasn't surprised when her husband was stopping them. "It's okay," she said slowly.

"I hope you don't mind if we watch it for a while," Castle said.

"No," Beckett said swiftly before they were walking up to the bridge. She leaned against the side looking at the river making its way to them and said, "What're you thinking?"

"I can't help looking at the course," Castle replied quickly.

"Yes, but you're thinking about yesterday," Beckett pointed out to him though she was smiling shortly after.

"You can't blame me," Castle said simply.

"No, but don't gloat," Beckett told him with a smile.

"Don't worry, I wasn't going to," Castle replied. When his wife nudged at him, he looked at her in a little surprise saying, "I'm thinking about other things… about our game together but still things."

"Stop saying things," Beckett told him in amusement before he was quickly responding.

"Alright," Castle said. "I'll just remember."

"Stop," Beckett said laughingly, shaking her head. "Let's keep walking."

"To be honest," Castle said in a rush as he moved to follow his wife. "I was thinking about helping you with your technique." When she was smirking at him over her shoulder, he couldn't help breathing out hard and hurrying after though he was still thinking of the start of their tour through the eighteen holes of golf.

"What do you think?" Beckett was asking her husband. She glanced up at the sky when he shook his head, looking serious, and was about to protest before he was stopping her while he spoke.

"I really should give you some pointers on your stance," Castle told her.

"You realize we've played…" Beckett started to say since she'd played golf with her husband several times already since they'd gotten married. She sighed after trailing off and asked, "You're not going to leave me alone about it are you?"

"No, I feel like I should help you," Castle said simply.

Groaning briefly and rolling her eyes, Beckett shook her head and said, "You realize it's a risk."

"I give you full permission to drive the cart if that's the case," Castle said swiftly.

"And how are you going to walk?" Beckett asked in amusement, glancing down his body briefly.

Shaking his head Castle said, "I'm not going to take that long." When his wife nodded, he waited for her to stand next to the tee and stepped up behind her saying, "I'm serious about this, you still want to hook your right elbow."

"I'm used to riding a horse," Beckett said before she let him guide her in a slow swing.

"I feel that in your back, arch right here," Castle told her.

Nodding, Beckett waited for him to let her go before she took an actual swing and hit her golf ball.

"Much better," Castle told her when she turned to him.

"I actually thought you were using that," Beckett told him.

"To a lesser degree I was… mad?" Castle asked her.

"You were quick," Beckett said simply before she put away the club she'd used as he was getting one. She touched his hand to get his attention and told him, "Don't do that tomorrow, unless I specifically tell you to."

"Oh great, now I'm definitely not going to be able to walk," Castle said in an exaggerated tone before she laughed.

"Start please," Beckett told her husband, shaking her head in amusement. She watched him swing before they were getting back into the golf cart they'd rented and she told him, "It's fun to do this once in a while, but how does this hold your attention so many times?"

"The angles," Castle replied. He'd been about to say more but hesitated before his wife was laughing and nudging his wide with her elbow.

"Don't force Eliza to play if she doesn't want to," Beckett said, since their second youngest would do well at the putting practice at the golf course he used at home.

"I think we both said we wouldn't do that to our children," Castle reminded her, slowing down when he saw the neon colors of their golf balls.

"For their careers," Beckett said.

"Yeah, it's funny how both girls want to write," Castle said. When his wife gave him a look he said, "I won't, I'll take them to try it out but if it's something they don't want to do then I'll let them continue with mini-golf."

"I'm not surprised you said that," Beckett said, watching him looking through the golf clubs. "That doesn't bother you?" she asked since he was looking for her next shot.

"It doesn't," Castle said simply, pulling one out. "Just promise me I can still keep score."

"You can, but we're playing archery after this," Beckett said firmly before her husband was nodding rapidly as he spoke.

"We agreed, now do I need to help you?" Castle asked her.

"No," Beckett said simply before she turned her attention to the grass and the flag not too far from them. As they were playing through each hole, she wasn't surprised to find she was behind her husband in score, but she wasn't doing too badly.

"See? You should play more often," Castle told his wife when they'd finished and had returned the cart and golf clubs.

"So you can win?" Beckett teased him.

"No, now please beat me at archery," Castle said, folding the scorecard he'd filled out in his pocket.

"I can't really guarantee that," Beckett said though she was smiling at his tone. "Since that you're better at."

"Fine, we'll go get a couple of horses-" Castle started to say before his wife was stopping him.

"We're just supposed to play, remember?" Beckett asked.

"Sure," Castle said, nodding rapidly before they were turning to where the archery targets were set up. Since he'd made the reservation, he was speaking to the worker before they were given their bows and arrows. "Side by side or should we share one?" he asked his wife since they'd been told they would be alone during the time they had there.

"Side by side," Beckett said firmly. "We're having dinner on the grounds… and soon."

"And we're not competing," Castle told her.

"Unless you want to keep score, no," Beckett said firmly. When her husband nodded and moved to the table at the target next to her, she grabbed her first arrow and notched it quickly before she told him, "Unless you want to have us shootout at the end of our time here."

"What would we be doing that for?" Castle asked her.

Smiling Beckett said, "We'd have to discuss it tomorrow."

"We should see how we feel," Castle said after he looked up at the sky.

"You said it wasn't going to rain again until tomorrow," Beckett reminded him. She laughed when he pursed his lips and she told him, "Come on, start."

"After you love," Castle said, though he was holding his prepared bow up at the same time she was, taking a shot just before Beckett.

"You know what I remembered?" Beckett asked her husband.

"I did too," Castle said. "And you did win so maybe you should be deciding tonight," he told her, startled when she frowned before she then started to respond.

"We never said what we were going to do so as far as I'm concerned, you're still deciding," Beckett said. When he was about to speak, his brow furrowed she held up her hand and told him as she was draping her shawl over her arm, "You won our round of golf remember. So as far as I'm concerned, we're even."

"Then-" Castle started to say before his wife was interrupting him.

"We'll discuss this after we drink that coffee," Beckett told him.

"Is there a reason we're having two espressos in one day?" Castle asked, looking at the brewer he was waiting for.

"Are you just making conversation?" Beckett asked coyly since it had been his idea.

"Basically," Castle said, nodding.

"You're a pervert," Beckett teased him. "But I did agree."

"You know one of these days I'm going to get annoyed you won't let me call you that too," Castle commented.

"Did you ever stop to think that you calling me vixen was the equivalent?" Beckett asked him. When her husband's response was to smile at her she looked at him with a startled expression before she said, "I'm surprised."

"Does that make me a sadist?" Castle said.

"I don't think so," Beckett replied laughingly. "But I wasn't about to stop."

"Okay," Castle said, speaking quickly since the brewer was making a ping sound. "You know tomorrow is our last day," he told her after he'd started the second cup.

"Yes, we've basically planned it out," Beckett told him. "And if you're thinking of different gifts for the girls, I'll stop you there."

"I was thinking of the antique shop," Castle said.

"And Mill Valley," Beckett stated. She wasn't surprised when her husband hesitated and then said, "I think we have everything we want there."

"The basement?" Castle asked. "Game room?"

"Maybe the game room," Beckett said before her husband was talking absently.

"By the way, there's a reason I'm bringing up random subjects," Castle told her.

"I don't think the violin was one," Beckett replied in amusement. When he looked at her in surprise she said, "But I knew already."

"Good," Castle said before he looked at the brewer. "This coffee is taking way too long."

"It did help us this afternoon," Beckett told him. When her husband was looking at her again, she said, "You did let me know you want to start."

Breathing out briefly, Castle said, "If it would just- oh, never mind," stopping himself when the brewer made a noise.

Beckett laughed softly before she got up and went to him, taking one of the small cups he handed to her. "Come on," she told him, tugging his hand before he could take a sip.

"It won't take us that long… alright," Castle started to say before he trailed off and just followed her the short distance to the couch in the bedroom.

"You wouldn't want to just sit here for a little?" Beckett asked.

"You're serious about a little," Castle stated, looking at her intently. When she nodded, he leaned over and gently brushed his lips to hers before he said, "Then I guess we'll finish them here."

Shaking her head Beckett said, "I'm not surprised." She saw the way he was looking at her and said, "I'm not calling you pervert the rest of the night."

"I thought you'd enjoy that," Castle said before his wife was squeezing his hand a bit tightly.

"Don't call me vixen continuously," Beckett told him.

"I wasn't planning on it," Castle said quickly, bringing her hand up and kissing the back of it. He took another sip of his espresso and told her, "I'm almost finished."

"Me too," Beckett replied before she was watching while their fingers were entwining. She then brought her cup to her lips, finishing off the rest of the coffee before her husband was taking it and leaving for the entry. She stood once he'd left and when he was walking back inside the room she said, "We had things to talk about."

"We did," Castle said, reaching for her and wrapping his arm around her waist before he kissed her. When she was wrapping her arms around his neck, he put both of his about her before their tongues started to gently rub against one another. After they'd done that for a while they were slowly parting and he said, "Would you mind wearing it for me?"

"No, because I get the feeling we're not going to be using it for that long," Beckett answered.

"Using?" Castle asked, relieved that he could speak.

"I had a hunch you'd want to do that," Beckett replied with a smile.

"Vixen," Castle told her before he pulled her against him and was kissing her deeply. Feeling her responding he tried not to hurt her while he held her tighter against him before he loosened his grip on her. "Did we finish talking?"

"I think so," Beckett said though she couldn't remember at that moment. She let her husband let go of her except for his arm around her waist before they were walking to his side of the bed. "Did you want to watch me putting it on?" she asked him as she looked at her shawl.

"That would be nice," Castle said slowly, looking at it too.

"Rick," Beckett said, getting his attention. "Did you hear what I just said?" she asked him with a smile.

"I did," Castle said seriously. "And yes, I want you to take everything off and put that on."

Beckett was quick to tell him, "You'll need to help me."

"I know," Castle said swiftly. "And I don't mind."

"Pervert," Beckett said before she cupped his cheek.

"Turn around love," Castle said, leaning down and brushing his lips to hers. Once she had done so he looked at the bun her hair was in for a moment before he was unzipping the back of her dress. He helped her out of it, since he went to the armchair to lay the dress there before he turned around to find that she was wrapped up in the shawl already. He froze for a moment and asked, "Really?"

"Yes, you took a while," Beckett replied with a smile. "And now I've done this for you, show me yours."

"Vixen," Castle breathed before he leaned into her and was kissing her hard. He wanted to do that for a while, but his wife was gently pushing him back and making him groan in disappointment. "There's a reason why I call you that."

"I know," Beckett said simply and with a smile before she watched her husband taking off his blazer first since she had already removed his tie when they'd returned to their room. "Love?" she asked him, looking on while he was unbuttoning his shirt.

"No?" Castle asked, pausing and looking at her in surprise.

"You didn't let me ask you what I wanted to," Beckett said before he was speaking quickly while he was returning to unbuttoning his shirt.

"Sorry, I feel like I should join you," Castle said simply.

"In what, nudity?" Beckett asked him.

"Yes," Castle replied.

Beckett couldn't help calling him, "Pervert," before he was pulling off the last of his clothes to step up to her. She let her shawl open a little and said, "Better?"

"Much," Castle said firmly, leaning down to her and capturing her lips with his own. He was slipping his tongue into her mouth a moment after he'd begun and was pleased when she was responding to him immediately. He held her to him again, letting his hand roam around her back though he was only touching silk. He couldn't help grunting in annoyance and he pulled away saying, "I'm going to throw you on the bed."

"Hold on," Beckett replied, stepping up a little closer to him. "Is the shawl coming with us?"

"No," Castle told her firmly before he leaned down to her and was kissing her lightly on the lips. Stepping back from her, he watched while she opened the shawl fully before he was reaching up to her and cupping her breasts with his hands. Though he wanted to linger doing that, he had to shortly after let her go before he was taking the silk and tossing it onto the couch. Returning to her immediately he gathered her up and was kissing her hard before he tried to lay her back on the bed.

Beckett quickly stopped him, smiling when he was looking at her in consternation before she was moving to get on the mattress. She wasn't surprised when her husband was racing after her and once he was with her she was kissing him. She felt him responding instantly and they were dueling inside his mouth with their tongues while his hands were sliding up her back.

"Kate," Castle told her after they had parted. "Your hair," he said when she was pulling back slightly to look at him.

Smirking, Beckett reached up and took the pins from her hair before it was falling around her shoulders. "Good?" she asked him with a smile while he was reaching up to her and gently running his fingers through her locks at the bottom.

"Yes, thank you for doing that," Castle said firmly before he moved his hand over her shoulder and was shortly after cupping the side of her left breast. He gently thumbed over her nipple, watching her arching her back before he was bending over to press a kiss to it. He felt a thrill at her moan of pleasure before she was making him sit back up and he told her hurriedly, "My knee is fine."

"I know, but I wanted to remind you you're deciding everything tonight," Beckett told him firmly. She wasn't surprised when he stiffened and she said, "I'm serious."

"Believe me, I'm aware," Castle told her. "But a million ideas just went through my head when you said that."

"Hmm," Beckett said with a smile, leaning into him and kissing him lightly. When she pulled back shortly after she told him, "You're definitely perverted but I want to see what you just thought of."

"Everything?" Castle asked her, his eyes wide in surprise.

"Whatever we can manage," Beckett replied easily, laying back then while he watched her. Holding her hands up on either side of her head she told him, "And what we can't fit in we will tomorrow," not surprised when he was responding in a rush.

"I just said a million," Castle told her.

"Yes, and when we get back home…" Beckett said teasingly with a smile.

"You're going to kill me before we can start," Castle told her while he moved down to her. When he was directly above her, he was kissing her as hard as he could, sinking his tongue inside of her mouth and rolling around hers. After they'd parted, he was making her spread her legs a little further before he raised his body up enough to allow her to reach in between them. When her hand grasped at his length he instantly tensed before he was moving to allow her to get him to her entrance. As soon as he felt her folds, he pressed forward on his own until he was sliding through her steadily until he was fully sheathed within her, hearing her vocally react to him. Once he was pressing his hips to hers, he told her, "I'm deciding."

"Go as fast as you want to," Beckett managed to say though her sex was throbbing around her husband. She couldn't resist flexing around him, feeling his erection before he was touching her legs. When he didn't say anything, she moved them herself, bending her knees while she was drawing her legs up. He thrust gently in her and she was crying out briefly before she slid her hands from his arms to his shoulders.

Though he was trying to continue to thrust, Castle wasn't able to fight her, and he leaned into her, making sure he wasn't crushing her. He'd had to stop when she had pulled him to her, but while he was taking advantage of their position and kissing her deeply, he began again. That time he was going a little faster, and he pulled away from her before he said, "You're… so tight love."

Unable to answer that, Beckett was holding onto his back, moving her hips the best she could since she had little leverage. She was a little surprised he was moving so hard, and slightly annoyed since it made it harder for her to match his pace. "Rick… this won't… last," she told him, gasping and moaning when she interrupted herself.

"We can add more… more," Castle said. Though he'd intended to continue after that, he was leaning down to her and completely forgetting what he'd planned to say. He kissed her as hard as he could, not surprised when she was swift to respond to him. It took little for them to want to continue, and it was only when he absolutely had to breathe that he could speak to her. "Love, this… are you going to come?" he asked her.

"Yes," Beckett moaned in joy while he was angling his hips down on her and doing his best to rub at her clit. He managed it twice and she cried out telling him, "Love! I'm coming… don't stop-" She interrupted herself when her orgasm was striking her hard and she was digging her nails into his back. The ecstasy was intense, and it grew a little more so when he was climaxing as well. She was holding him harder, the sensation of his release in her adding to what her body was already going through. She had no idea how long she was moving with her husband, only when she was limp, but he was still moving her body. "Rick," she moaned when he gave her a final thrust before he stopped moving, breathing hard against her neck.

Feeling his wife's fingers, Castle shuddered before he took a little more time to recover and then told her, "You're here?"

"So are you," Beckett replied, smiling before he groaned against her shoulder and then pushed himself up to speak again while he looked down at her.

"It still amazes me," Castle told her after he'd carefully withdrawn from her. "That you prefer to be below me."

Giving a mock suffering sigh while she laid back fully Beckett told him, "You're going to talk about that again?"

"Yeah," Castle said firmly.

Shaking her head, Beckett turned to look at him before they were laughing together. When she had calmed down enough, she then said, "I wish we actually could do what went through your head."

"Me too," Castle said, reaching for her and slipping his arm under her back. He held onto her hip and said, "But I mentioned the below me thing because-"

Reaching over to him, Beckett placed her hand over her husband's mouth to stop him before she said, "I did tell you that it was your choice."

Studying her for a while, Castle eventually nodded before he drew her a little closer to him and leaned down to kiss her. When they were parting he told her, "But are you ready?"

Smiling, Beckett said a little coyly, "Maybe not yet."

"Oh, well then let me get started…" Castle said, exaggerating his tone as he moved to lay on top of her again to her laughter. He cut her off by kissing her deeply, intending to do so for a while before he had to break it off. "Love," he groaned when she was rubbing against him.

"You said you were going to get started," Beckett replied, already aware of what her husband was going to do. When he crushed his lips to hers, she was swift to respond, and she was clutching at him hard until they were slowly parting. "I love you Rick," she told him with a smile when she opened her eyes to look at him.

"I love you too," Castle said immediately. She drew him to her after he finished speaking and he was moving to kiss her again, trying not to race through that kiss so they could slowly build up to making love once more.

Turning onto her side, Beckett opened her eyes and saw her husband was on his side facing her, still asleep. She smiled when he laid on his back suddenly and moved to settle against his side and she kissed his shoulder before he was shifting slightly.

"Don't tell me it's morning," Castle said with a groan when he blinked his eyes rapidly.

"Sorry," Beckett told him with a smile. When he looked at her through squinted eyes she said, "Though you realize it could be afternoon… as long as we stayed up."

"A mutual decision," Castle said rapidly.

"Of course," Beckett said in agreement. She took her husband's kiss before he got up and she pushed herself up on her arms before she said, "What time is it?"

After he'd gotten on his glasses, Castle was reaching for his watch before he said, "Not that late, almost a quarter to ten."

"Do you want to go out for breakfast?" Beckett asked.

"Sure," Castle said. "You're not sore."

"I'm not," Beckett told him firmly since he had asked that when they'd gone to sleep earlier that morning.

"Okay, then shower?" Castle asked. He smiled when his wife laughed and leaned over, brushing her hair off her right cheek and tucking it behind her ear. "I don't intend to do anything there."

"I'm not surprised," Beckett said. "But what if it happens anyway?" She wasn't surprised when her husband frowned and she squeezed his arm before she told him, "I'm kidding."

"I hope so," Castle replied. "I mean, I might get a little handsy and kiss you, but that's it."

Smiling while she studied him, Beckett told him once she spoke, "You promise?"

"Vixen," Castle replied breathily before he leaned over and kissed her sensuously. After he pulled away, he told her, "Now?"

Beckett was about to answer before her husband's stomach growled and she said, unable to hide her amusement, "I think we're going to have to." She laughed briefly when her husband cursed in Irish before she squeezed his hand and followed him off the bed. They went into the bathroom and the shower, standing under it together since he'd gathered her into his arms. She was responding to his kiss as fervently as she could until they were slowly parting, and she slipped away from him so they could wash each other.

When they were finished, Castle was out first and grabbing a towel before he asked, "Do you want to swim today?"

"Yes, and archery," Beckett said. "If we're not too late coming back from town."

"Sounds great," Castle said before he began to dry her off since she'd stepped out of the shower while she'd spoken. When he was nearly finished, he was about to ask her where she wanted to go for breakfast before she was taking her towel and speaking to him teasingly while she wrapped it around herself.

"I hate to ask; would you mind if we went to the pub?" Beckett said.

"No," Castle said, smiling at her tone. He reached for her and squeezed her hand before he told her, "But I'm choosing."

"I had the same idea," Beckett said, since she had already thought of them sharing the pub's large serving of an Irish breakfast. "But we're not getting the blood pudding."

"Luckily they have the option," Castle said with a nod, watching her as she was drying him carefully. "I suddenly feel bad," he told her when she was nearly finished.

"Don't start," Beckett said teasingly while she smiled and handed him the towel.

"I know, it's why we came here and you're eager for it," Castle said, closing the fabric around his waist. "But I was leering at you."

"You weren't," Beckett said, cupping his cheek with her hand before he leaned into her. They shared a gentle kiss and once they'd parted, she told him, "Ogling me, but I don't mind. Do that when we're back though."

"I can't make any promises," Castle said once they were walking into the bedroom. He smiled when she whirled around to him and told her, "I might… admire your form a few times while we're out of this room."

"Alright," Beckett told him simply.

"Alright?" Castle blurted out in surprise. "That's it? I'm not a pervert?" he added, following her while she was walking to the armoire.

"No," Beckett replied. She felt her husband touching her arm before she turned to him slightly so she could look him in the eye. "I'm serious Rick, I've done the same to you. And if your reaction means you want me to call you a pervert I will when we're back here." She paused for a moment and then told her husband, "After we're finished in Adare."

Gazing into his wife's eyes, Castle could tell already she was serious, and he said, "It feels like it could rain again."

"Mmm-hmm," Beckett said with a smile before her husband was grabbing her. She threw her arms around him a second later when his lips crushed hers. She held onto him as tightly as she could, not letting go of him until they were slowly parting some time later. She couldn't help smiling and she told him, "We better go."

"I know," Castle said. "Though I think you mean get dressed."

"They mean the same thing," Beckett replied in mock annoyance. Her husband leaned into her, and they were kissing tenderly before letting one another go at the same time. After they had their clothes, they went to the bed where she dressed quickly telling her husband, "Do you think we should make this?"

"I'll do it," Castle said. "I'll be finished before you are," he added before he pulled on his t-shirt. Looking across the bed at his wife he said, "We could have gotten dressed together."

"And never left the room," Beckett replied with a smirk.

"That's just speculation," Castle said before he pulled on his plaid shirt.

"It isn't," Beckett said.

"No, but I have to protest in some way, don't I?" Castle asked, not surprised when she laughed in response. He went over to the bathroom, combing his hair until he was nearly finished when Beckett was entering. "You look nice," he told her.

Smiling at his choice of word, Beckett said, "You do too, and yes these clothes will come off later."

"We're going," Castle said in mock annoyance before he headed out to the bedroom.

Smiling at him, Beckett then swiftly pulled her hair she'd brushed into a ponytail before putting on her makeup. Since she didn't have much, she was walking into the bedroom, not commenting on the fact that the bed was just barely straightened out. "Ready?" she asked her husband, seeing he was looking out of the windows by the table.

"Yeah, just making sure we won't need an umbrella," Castle replied, turning to her. He walked over to where she stood and said, "You know… it looks like it might be a little chilly out there. Your hair down will be warmer."

Giving him a look, Beckett didn't say anything, merely reaching out and grabbing the side of his shirt to use to pull him to the entry. Once there she let him go and said, "Leave my hair alone Rick."

"But I don't want to," Castle said, pretending to whine. He was a little startled when his wife was cupping his face with her hands before she drew him close to her and started to speak.

"I'm going to say this one last time, we'll deal with that when we're back in the room," Beckett told him.

Taking her hands off him, Castle brushed his lips to her palms and told her, "And I can't wait for that. But I do want to head out."

"I know," Beckett said with a brief laugh. "Let's go."

Squeezing her hand gently, Castle let it go before they left their room and headed to the nearest stairs which brought them into the reception hall. At the entrance he got an umbrella and told his wife, "Just in case."

"I had a feeling you were going to," Beckett told him before they were taking each other's hands again and stepping outside.

Once they were on the road leading out of the manor's grounds Castle squeezed his wife's hand and said, "I have to confess something."

"You're going to miss being here," Beckett told him. She smiled when he nodded before she said, "I feel the same way, but you realize we're going to be alone again in Tahiti."

"I still can't wait," Castle said.

Laughing, Beckett told him, "I can't either."

Stopping them both suddenly, Castle grabbed his wife by her waist and pulled her against him before they were kissing deeply. Once they parted a little bit after they'd started, he told her, "I can't help it."

"Not a surprise," Beckett said. "And I hope you won't mind if I tell you to wait until we're back to explore that a lot more."

"I got it," Castle said before he was letting her take his hand again. While they started to walk, he told her, "I love you."

Smiling, Beckett told him, "I love you too Rick." She watched him raise her hand before he kissed the back of it and said laughingly, when he glanced at her pointedly, "That's fine."

"Great, though you may regret saying that," Castle said.

"Don't ask again," Beckett teased him. "I told you already that I don't."

"After eight years? You better not," Castle said, pretending to speak angrily.

Shaking her head while they were nearing the start of Adare, Beckett said, "As long as you don't." When he was shaking his head rapidly, she told him, "Then we're good," before they focused on getting to the pub near the children's store. She let him tell the waiter there what table they wanted before they were sitting in the corner booth furthest from the bar. Since he'd ordered already, she was squeezing his hand when they were alone to get his attention and told him, "You didn't ask me what I wanted."

"Yeah, I'm assuming," Castle said since he'd ordered their drinks as well.

"At least you didn't get me beer," Beckett replied before she was taking the bottle of Tanora.

"Sorry it's soda," Castle commented while they were pouring their drinks into glasses before she was getting his attention and responding.

"Not really," Beckett said.

"Wait until I tell the girls that," Castle said before he was smiling at her. He was taken aback when his wife suddenly wrapped her arm around his shoulders and leaned into him, kissing his cheek. "Someone's looking at me?" Castle asked since there were some women at the bar.

"Of course," Beckett said, reaching up and gently running her fingers at the bottom of her husband's hair. She smiled at him when he turned his head to her, and they were kissing shortly after. When he made it deep, she was a little startled before she parted her lips to his tongue sweeping along her lower lip before they were rolling their tongues around each other until they slowly parted. She embraced him while he was leaning against her, not surprised when he murmured to her.

"Is she still looking?" Castle asked. He felt his wife nod and he pulled back so he could cup her cheek with his hand before he said, "Even though we're trying to distract someone… again, I'm gong to take the chance to tell you again I love you, Kate."

Leaning into him, Beckett was kissing her husband as he was leaning into her though they weren't lingering for very long. She was about to speak when she noticed someone walking up to their table and she looked at the same time as her husband to see it was their breakfast. She waited until the plate with their meal was set in front of them and her husband was serving them both to tell him, "I love you too. Don't feed me though."

Laughing, Castle said, "This was as far as I was going to go."

"Thank you," Beckett said, her husband kissing her cheek before he gave her the plate, he'd prepared for her.

"What were we doing after this?" Castle asked her.

Smirking at him, Beckett said, "They've left." She watched him glance rapidly over at the bar before he turned to her and she said, "But I'd like you to focus on me."

"Oh, don't worry," Castle told her seriously. He then took her hand and raising it to his lips he kissed the back of it before he told her in the same tone, "Goddess."

"Sheik," Beckett said.

Leaning into each other, Castle and Beckett shared a tender kiss before they were parting and turning their attention to their meal. As they began to eat, they discussed the antique store and looking for items for their other three daughters and grandchildren. Though they were discussing that, they were pressing close to each other, unable to forget their intention return to their stateroom to spend their last afternoon they had alone in Adare reveling in their intimacy.
