"Do you even know what this means?" Sybbie asked.
Charlie stared at the dry dipstick she was holding in front of him.
"I have to be honest, I have no idea what I'm supposed to be looking at," he admitted.
"Well, thanks for being honest," she sighed. "It means you haven't been taking care of this car. You're going to provide some mechanic with a good living, at least."
"My grandfather told me that once," Charlie chuckled.
"I take it he doesn't mind the expense, then?"
"Why should he? Cars are expensive."
"They're expensive if you're not checking the oil."
